Clarissa Jareau was sitting in her car outside FBI Headquarters in Quantico, Virginia. She'd driven almost five hours from her hometown of East Allegheny, Pennsylvania to Quantico. She hated leaving her mother alone in the drafty old house she grew up in. However, after everything that had happened with Levi, she wanted to be away from everything that reminded her of him. Her sister JJ had told her to meet her at work so they could drive to her house together. She'd be staying in the guest room of her and Will's house until she was able to find something close that she felt safe in. JJ told her she was welcome to stay as long as she wanted, but she didn't intend to interfere with the life JJ had made for herself. She'd left home and gone to Georgetown at the age of eighteen after graduating from high school. She then immediately went through the FBI academy to become an agent. She was very proud of her sister, but she didn't feel as close to her as she once had. She felt like an outsider looking in and was better off alone. Taking a deep breath to stabilize her nerves, she exited her Subaru Forrester and headed towards the large building entrance. JJ had told her what would happen and what to expect, but she still wasn't prepared for the search of her person and bag. Once she was cleared, she walked up to the reception desk and stood in line behind two other people waiting. When it was her turn, she forced a smile at the severe looking brunette behind the desk.

"Hello, my name is Clarissa Jareau," she began softly. "I'm here to see my sister, Agent Jennifer Jareau. I was told she was expecting me and that my name should be on your visitor list?" The woman raised a penciled eyebrow as she began clicking away at the computer in front of her. The woman pursed her lips as she looked back up at her and finally spoke. "I'll need your driver's license." CJ quickly produced her ID, pushing her long blonde hair out of her face. After a few tense minutes of silence, the receptionist handed her the license back and stood up. She held out a laminated visitor's badge with a clip attached. "This must be clipped to your person, visibly, the entire time you are in the building." She stated as if she had said these words a million times. "The BAU is located on the sixth floor. Just go down this main hallway to the elevators and their office is right outside the elevator doors. Please return this badge to me or to the drop box before you leave. Welcome to the FBI." CJ tentatively took the badge from the woman with another forced smile as she muttered thank you to her. She clipped the badge to the front of her shirt and made her way towards the elevator she had indicated. Once she'd pressed the up button located on the wall, she glanced down at her watch to see it was only 4:47PM in the afternoon. Being Friday, she wasn't sure if this was a normal time for JJ to get off or not. However, her sister had known the rough time she'd arrive. As the doors began to open, two people rushed over to the doors before they could close and climbed in.

CJ huddled towards the wall and tried to make herself as small as she possibly could once she realized these two in the elevator were heading to the same floor as her, one of them with a gun attached to his hip. The woman wore a bright blue dress with a tan cardigan stitched with a tree. She wore a clunky necklace and a bright blue clip attached to her platinum blonde hair. The man next to her was extremely tall and skinny yet lean. His hair was in a wild disarray of curls. They were both holding trays of coffee and giggling together. "I swear Hotch is going to suspend us one day for our hour long breaks we take." The man said as he glanced nervously at his watch. The colorful woman laughed as she shook her head. "Oh please, Reid." She replied while still giggling. "If he suspends us or tells us to stop, he'll have to live with the coffee in the break room and no one wants that." This got the man called Reid to chuckle at her words. They both took turns stealing glances at her, but CJ just kept her eyes averted and waited for the lift to open. They were both dressed up and it made her feel like she was super underdressed, but then again, she didn't work there. She glanced down at her dark jeans, white t-shirt, pink flats, and pink scarf and wished she'd changed into something else before coming into the building. When the elevator doors opened, Reid smiled kindly at her and gestured for her to leave first. She gave him a tense, tight-lipped smile in thank you as she stepped out. However, she stopped in her tracks as she moved slightly away from the elevator.

She wasn't sure why she was hesitating to open the glass doors that had "Behavioral Analysis Unit" on the doors but hesitate she did. She hadn't seen her sister in person for two years. Two years ago, JJ had been caught up in a case and hadn't been able to come home for Christmas. Last year, Levi had prevented her from heading over to her mom's house due to the bruises that had covered her body. She shouldn't feel nervous, but she also knew JJ knew the reason for her missing Christmas and moving to DC. She felt someone stop beside her. She turned her head to see the colorful woman from the elevator standing next to her with a big smile on her face.

"Hi there, I'm Penelope Garcia, can I help you?" Heat flooded CJ's cheeks in embarrassment as she realized she'd drawn attention to herself by just standing outside the doors. Speaking softly as she clutched her brown handbag to her side, she tried not to stutter. "Oh, I-I'm sorry." She replied, failing to keep the stutter from her voice. "I'm here to see my sister, she works with the BAU." Recognition flashed in Penelope's eyes as she gestured with her elbow to the glass doors. "I knew you looked familiar!" Penelope said excitedly. "JJ has a picture of the two of you on her desk. If you don't mind opening the door for me, I'll show you where she sits." CJ was shocked to hear that JJ kept a picture of her on her desk, but it was a welcome feeling as she'd dearly missed her sister. Jumping ahead to open the door for Penelope, CJ gave her a genuine smile. "Thank you, I appreciate it." She said as she held the door ajar. "I'll admit to being intimated by being here." Penelope nodded as she walked steadily towards a group of people who were milling around the desks. Up on the rise were two men conversing, but she didn't see her sister. Penelope kept up a dialogue as they approached the desks. "I completely understand what you mean. It can be very overwhelming for first timers here." She came to a stop next to an empty desk and sat the tray of coffee down on it.

Penelope turned to face and now that her hands were free, she pulled the timid girl into a bone-crushing hug. When she released her, her smile was still present. "I'm sorry for hugging you without your permission." She apologized. "It's just that I've heard so much about you, I feel like I know you!" CJ couldn't help the blush that flooded her cheeks again, but the other woman ignored it. She gestured at the faces standing around looking at her curiously. "This tall drink of chocolate cocoa is Derek Morgan, The bean pole that was in the elevator with us is Dr. Spencer Reid, and this gorgeous brunette is Alex Blake. JJ stepped out for a minute, but she should be back soon. Guys this is JJ's sister, Clarissa." Spencer was the first one to wave a small hello to her and she was relieved that he didn't make a big deal about her being there. Alex stepped forward and gave her a warm smile and she immediately felt at ease. There was something about the woman's presence that screamed "mom" to her. She held out her hand to her which Clarissa didn't hesitate to take. "It's so nice to meet you, Clarissa," Alex said kindly. "I've only known JJ for a few weeks, but she's spoken of you often." CJ felt like the blush on her cheeks would become permanent. "Thank you, it's very nice to meet you too." She replied to Alex. "She's told me all about you too, especially about Penelope and Spencer. She told me you guys are like family." They both sported broad smiles at her words, but before they could reply, Derek Morgan stepped forward with a smile on his face. He was absolutely gorgeous, there was no denying that, but he was also intimidating. He towered over her. He had to be over six feet tall, and she was only 5'4, barely reaching his shoulders. She discovered Penelope's description of him was spot on, he was like chocolate with a devastating smile and muscles for miles. His smile turned into a smirk as he extended his hand to her. "Hey sweetness, it's very nice to finally meet you. I've worked with JJ for almost eight years now and I've heard nothing but praiseful things about you." CJ slipped her tiny hand into his and shook it delicately as she maintained eye contact. "Oh, she's told me all about you, Agent Morgan." She said softly. His hand lingered on hers and it wasn't until she heard her sister that the spell was broken.

"Oh my goodness, CJ, you're here!" CJ gently pulled her hand out of Morgan's and turned towards where the voice came from. When she saw her sister running down the steps from the platform and heading towards her, she moved forward and caught her sister who crashed into her. JJ was taller than her and with her hair flying free, she completely covered CJ as she held her tight. CJ missed JJ immensely and held her tightly. When she felt teardrops hit her cheek, she stepped back and looked up into her sister's eyes. "No, Jayge, don't cry!" she pulled her back into a hug, and she felt her sister begin to chuckle. "I'm sorry, sissy, I've missed you so much." At the nickname, her own eyes began to fill up. "It's okay, Sunny, I missed you too." JJ laughed loudly at the use of her childhood nickname. When they finally pulled apart, JJ turned to face her coworkers and motioned to the group loitering around them.

"I take it you met my sister, CJ?" The four other people nodded with smiles, but it was Derek that crossed his arms and leaned a hip against Spencer's desk. "I have to know where the nickname Sunny came from." JJ rolled her eyes and chuckled as she wiped her face. "When we were little, I started calling her sissy and she couldn't say it, so she called me sunny. It just sort of stuck." Derek locked his eyes with hers and once more her face heated up at the intensity of his gaze. A voice from behind them pulled their eyes apart. She saw JJ try to hide her smirk and knew she'd hear about that later. Two older men walked towards them with smiles on their faces. JJ began the introductions and introduced her to her bosses, Aaron Hotchner and David Rossi. The latter stepped forward and pulled her into a gentle hug. She wasn't used to so much touching, but she could tell this was an affectionate bunch. "Ah Bella, I'm so happy to finally meet you! I didn't think we'd ever get to meet JJ's family." Aaron offered his hand to her, which she shook, and he told her he was also glad to finally meet her.

Penelope stepped up and clapped her hand excitedly. "You'll have to come out for drinks with us soon so that we can get to know you. We're all like a family here and that means you're a part of that family as well." JJ saw the look on her face and immediately put her arm around her shoulders. "We'll get her there eventually, guys." She said gently yet firmly. "She needs to get settled and acclimated before we subject her to you all inebriated." This got a chuckle from everyone, and she released her tense posture when she realized they weren't planning to push her. JJ looked at her boss and asked if it was okay if she took off. He smiled and nodded as he gestured for her to leave. "JJ if we get a case in the next day or so, I want you to sit it out, okay? You've been talking about your sister's arrival for months, so I want you to be able to spend some time with her before traveling again, okay?" JJ thanked Hotch profusely before turning towards her with a grin. "You ready to get out of here and see Henry?" CJ laughed at her sister. She knew how much she wanted to see her nephew, but she couldn't help but tease her. "Don't you mean Will and Henry?" This got a chuckle from everyone, including JJ who just rolled her eyes. "Oh come on," she retorted. "We all know that compared to my little man, Will is chopped liver." CJ giggled as JJ slung her bag onto her shoulder and looped her other arm through hers and began leading her to the exit. CJ didn't want to be rude, so she turned her head and waved at everyone.

"It was a pleasure meeting you all." They all smiled and waved back, but her eyes were caught again by Derek's, whose expression she couldn't read. She turned back around after a few seconds and walked out of the glass door with her sister. When they climbed into the elevator, JJ turned to face her and smirked at her. "Okay we're definitely talking about those looks and that tension between you and Derek."
