The Legend of Zelda: Goddess of Power
She might be known as a hothead at times, but she never uses her power for evil. She was able to pull her part of the Triforce from the Demon King and was looking for someone that would use her piece the right way when a mortal appears out of nowhere and captured her sisters. Din fought off a few of the monsters that surrounded her, but there were too many.
"Din, Din, Din. Did you really think that you could keep the Triforce of Power?"
Din growls at the man. She saw him, holding up two crystals that held Farore and Nayru. As much as Din wanted to save them, she was outpowered. She had to escape and come up with a plan. She wasn't Nayru, but she wasn't stupid.
"The Triforce of Power will find its rightful owner! And you won't have it!" Din said, pushing the monsters off her.
"I will save my sisters! You can bet on that!" She shouted before summoning a red light.
The Man covers his eyes before smirking. When he uncovered them, Din was gone, but he was laughing.
"HAHAHA! Foolish goddesses! The Goddess Realm is all mine!" He said, making the crystals disappear.
He reached out and saw that Farore and Nayru had found their holders, and Din was on her way to her new one. Now that the Goddess had left their homeworld, he was in complete control. He smirks and walks back inside the place.
"Soon there will be only one god. The God of Darkness!" He laughs.
Gerudo Valley,
A desert far from the kingdom of Hyrule was baring and hot. However, people were living there. A race of people known as the Gerudos, a warrior tribe that were all females. Many of them were warriors, others were setting out to find mates. But there was one that stood on the wall, looking towards the castle. The young Gerudo sighs, wanting to visit the kingdom for many years.
"Jasmine!"
She turns and saw a few Gerduo Warriors walking up to her.
"You know the walls are not for sightseeing." The Lead Warrior said.
"Yeah, yeah. This is the only spot that faces the kingdom and gives off a nice view." Jasmine said, groaning.
"We know, but the Hylians look down on us. Calling us thieves and users of dark magic." The Lead Warrior said.
Jasmine groans, she knew of the Geurdo King and how he ruined the Gerudo name. However, she wants to show the Hylains that not all Gerudos were the same. But the chief would refuse her request.
"I'm tired of hiding behind these walls." She said, causing some of the warriors to sigh.
"Trust us, Jasmine. We're tired of this too. But the rules are clear. NO ONE is allowed to LEAVE the town. Expect for those looking for their loves." The Lead Warrior said.
Jasmine shook her head, growling annoyed with the rule. It was like the chief was trying to stop her from leaving. Before she could say more, a red light shine through the sky, surprising many of the Gerudo.
"What was that?!" A Warrior asked.
They saw the light head in the middle of the desert, which crashed soon after. The Lead Warrior turned to the other warriors, giving out the orders.
"YOU! Go tell the chief what we saw! YOU! Defend the walls and make sure no one leaves! Jasmine, you need to..."
To her surprise, Jasmine jumped down and started to run across the desert, hoping to find the light.
"JASMINE!"
With Din,
Din groans as she rubs her head. She couldn't believe that mortal force her out of her home and captured her sisters. She might be the Goddess of Power, but she knew better than to rush in headfirst. She needed to find someone that would use her piece of the Triforce wisely and see if they could help her. Din stood up and dust herself off. She knew she was in the Gerudo Desert. Home of the Gerudo. The same race as her previous chosen.
"No, he's no longer my chosen. Not anymore." She said, shaking her head.
Knowing she couldn't walk around in her goddess form, Din took up her mortal form. She also knew that Gerudo Valley was a bit far away and she could be seen on one. However, she needs a cover story to explain her reasons.
With Jasime,
Jasmine ran through the desert, glad that she could finally leave the walls, however, she knew she was going to be in trouble when she returns. For some reason, when the light passes over her, she felt lots of power coming from it.
She ran across the sand, not even stopping as the sun's rays hit her skin. Being a Gerudo, she was used to the heat and sand. She ran up a dune and soon saw the crash sight. To her great surprise, the hole was huge and parts of the sand were turned into glass.
Jasmine carefully slid down the dune and walked towards the hole. She looks around before spotting footprints moving away from the hole. They seem to be heading for Gerudro Town. She had no idea if this thing was friendly or not, but she needed to find it before it reached her home. Making her scimitars were on her, she followed the footprints.
Din walked for a while, not bothered by the sun or the heat. She didn't know why her mortal form made her look like a Gerudo, but at least she was able to deal with the hash desert as one. However, she could easily tell she wasn't alone. She could feel something following her. Din kept walking, knowing the foes will appear soon.
Sure enough, the sands soon burst apart as Lizalfos jumps towards her. Din sighs before spinning around, her long ribbons reaching out and smacking all the Lizalfos away from her. However, she spotted more sand moving and jumps away as more Lizalfos jumped out. Din called froth her fire magic and threw the small ball into the hoard. She snapped her fingers and a huge fire explosion knocked the Lizalfos away.
She then danced out of the way as another Lizalfos tried to attack her from behind. She then jump over another Lizalfos and landed on its head. Din smiles, knowing these monsters have no idea what they were facing. She jumped off the Lizalfo and threw two Din's fire into them. With another snap, the Lizalfos were blasted away and Dine landed on the ground.
"Hmph. And they are the smartest creatures in the land?" Din scoffs.
However, another Lizalfos jumped out of the sand, ready to stab its spear into her back. However, it was stopped when two scimitars blocked it. Din turns around and sees a young Gerudo warrior, pushing back on the spear. The Lizalfo made a cry before shooting its tongue at her. Jasmine barely tilts her head to the side, causing to tongue to miss. Acting quickly, she pushes back with all her power and slashes through the spear. Before the Lizalfo could react, Jasmine slashes the creature, causing it to fall back and lay on the ground.
Jasmine panted before turning around to see the person she just saved. Din looks at her, surprised to sense her power. It almost matches her previous chosen. But she could tell that she had no evil in her heart.
"Are you okay?" Jasmine said, placing her scimitars behind her.
"Yes. Thank you." Din said.
"I don't think I've seen you around, sister. Are you from another clan?" Jasmine asked.
"Yes. I was banished from my home and found my way here. I was trying to find a place to sleep when the Lizalfos attacked me." Din said.
"It's dangerous to go alone, sister. I saw you fight and I'm surprised you can use magic. The last one to use magic was our former king." Jasmine said.
"I heard of him. But, I use my magic to defend myself and stop my enemies. I don't think I got your name, sister." Din said.
"Jasmine. A Gerudo warrior. In training." Jasmine said.
"Din. Named after the Goddess of Power herself. I'm also a Gerudo Dancer." Din said.
"One of the Hylian goddesses? Your tribe must be more friendly with the kingdom of Hyrule." Jasmine said.
"In a way," Din said, still sensing her power.
'What is this? How can she hold this much power?' Din thought.
"I saw something crash some miles away and follow the footprints to you. Did your clan use their magic to send you away?" Jasmine asked.
"Yes, I was trying to find Gerudo Town in hopes to recover and find some help," Din said.
"Help?" Jasmine asked before shaking her head.
"We better get you to the chief, she would want to hear your story," Jasmine told Din.
"Very well, lead the way," Din said, making Jasmine nod.
'What is this? This Gerudo power is beyond what I normally see in them. It almost matches my last chosen. I need to find out more.' Din thought, following her.
And I decided to redo Goddess of Power. I wanted to use a different character and I made up a Gerudo OC name Jasmine. Jasmine is a young Gerudo Warrior that wants to bring peace between her people and the people of Hyrule. However, the Gerudo chief refuses to let her do such a thing and forbids most Gerudos from leaving until they wish to find a mate.
There is a secret about Jasmine that I'm not going to spoil. I want to hold off until I'm almost done or start my combined story. All three stories are happening at the same time, but the new villain is using its power to keep the three goddesses and heroes from meeting. However, that spell will break once the three reach the Master Sword.
I do hope you guys/girls like the rewrite. And I do play on updating the other two stories as well. Just give them a chance. I also deleted my old version, so don't try to look for it.
