It's hard to believe how fast things changed for us since coming to this world.

Three years ago Axel was transported to this world by some unknown form of magic but oddly enough it wasn't alone.

Aincrad a flying island filled with monsters arrived here with us, but the island didn't just have monsters in it.

Inside it were thousands of people who were trapped in what they said was a virtual reality game and forced to play a death game by some crazy person.

Naturally, everyone in Axel had seen so many crazy things that they believed the Players who were dressed as knights, so they welcomed everyone with open arms.

With that out of the way, everyone began to explore this new world and unfortunately for everyone, two things became extremely clear.

Either this world was dead or the place that we had landed on didn't have anything living in it and we were surrounded by monsters that were made of some sort of black material and white bones.

The black monsters didn't appreciate our presence and so they started attacking both the castle and Axel, forcing both the Adventurers and the Players to rely on each other.

Once again two things quickly became clear to us.

The Players couldn't use magic, except for the magic that their crystals, potions, blacksmiths, and animals that they had.

Meaning that they were vulnerable to long-range attacks, or attacks from things that were either too fast or things that could fly and even ignored physical attacks and needed to be killed with magic.

As for the Adventurers, they didn't have any way of refilling their supplies, as the area around Axel that had been brought into this world with it couldn't grow the food and materials that they needed to keep fighting.

So both groups were forced to rely on each other.

The Players would rely on the Aventurers for long-range attacks, healing, and whatever else the Aventurer's magic could be used for.

The Adventures would rely on the Players for food and raw materials.

Then as if some goddes or a pair of goddesses had finally had enough all of the monsters inside Aincrad began to spill into the world.

The flying caste was the monster's home and they didn't appreciate it being attacked, so they joined in the war.

So without anyone knowing it, things began to change and a new normal set in.

Hours became days and days became years and before anyone knew it this world became our home.

The bells above the Adventurers Guild rang as a new grand quest had been put up by the Guild and judging by the way that everyone was acting no one was interested in it.

"So what's the job?" Kazuma asked everyone who was seated around the table.

"Not much the guild and the Council want everyone to go out and help mine for the magic crystals that were discovered the other day." Kirito answers him before he hands Kazuma his share of magic crystals.

Kazyuma opens the bag and can't help but look at it with a strained smile.

It's not that he's not happy about having the crystals but for an Adventurer the crystals aren't very useful.

Granted that as time goes on a wizard- alchemist- smith or someone could discover a way of making the crystals do things that they can't normally do but for now the magic crystals of this world are nothing more than spare batteries for him.

"Okay, so what do we have planned for today?" he asks Kirito who looks at him with a bright smile.

"Today is my last day Kazuma, Asuna, and I are going back to Aincrad, we are going to retire from fighting." Kirito says to Kazuma who immediately gives Kirito a hiefive.

"Finally, man I was worried that something would happen to her, but I didn't want to say anything, because it's between you two," Kazuma says to Kirito who just grins proudly at him.

Asuna was pregnant with Kirito's second child and the two of them had been fighting, but now that things were finally calming down they decided that it was best to think about the baby's safety and future.

"I'm going to start a farm with her and see how things go for us from there. But enough about me when are you going to settle down with your team and start making the future arty?" Kirito says to Kazuma who starts to laugh.

A month ago Darkness's dad gathered his party together and declared that they were all married and that it was the final.

When he and his friends asked why he said that the man simply said that he wanted grandchildren and that since Darkness rejected everyone except for Kazuma who never seemed to make a move on any of them.

So he decided to push the relationship for everyone.

Then Aqua and Megumin asked why they were involved in the marriage, the man immediately said that it was obvious to everyone who saw them that the girls and Kazuma had feelings for each other.

"Besides we need to have plenty of children these days." the man said before he held the hand of his second wife.

Darknesse's stepmother was someone that no one expected, but the woman was just as kind as Darknesse's mom, or at least that's what Darknesse's dad says.

The woman never bothers to treat Darkness badly, not even now that she has given birth to twins.

Most people would expect her to want to make the boys inherit Axel or try to gain some sort of power, but the woman rejects all of it, as she just wants the twins to grow up and be happy.

Unfortunately for everyone, she is pushing everyone to hurry up and have kids, claiming that Axel needs to stay strong or it's going to end up serving the castle and the players.

"So today is our last job together" Kazuma asks Kirito who just nods.

"Okay let's see what we can do, so we can go home and try not to get killed," Kazuma says to Kirito before Luna stands next to him and puts the quest on the table.

"Well I'm glad that all of you are going to look for work and I just happen to have a big one." she says to them, but her usual friendly smile is strained as no one wants to go into the caves and dig the crystals out.

"You're not going to let us say no are you?" Dust who has been sitting quietly drinking asks Luna who doesn't hesitate to say no.

"Damm." they all say at once.
