This was something I wrote for the fanfic requests Kronii had a little while back, I wasn't expecting her to just want angst and horror and wrote something silly instead.
"I'm cheating on you," Kronii announced at the dinner table.
Fauna lowered the orange she had been peeling to the table, her expression unreadable. "Is it with Mumei?" Fauna asked, her sweet voice barely hiding the murderous intonation.
Kronii shook her head.
"Is it Gura?" Fauna asked.
Again, Kronii shook her head.
Fauna's nails dug into the skin of the orange, but her voice remained as sweet as ever as she asked, "Who are you cheating on me with then, Kronii?"
"I'm cheating on you with myself."
A moment passed before Fauna blinked, and then blinked again. "What?"
Kronii reached under the table and pulled out a dakimakura. But not just any dakimakura, this one was of Kronii herself, dressed in nothing but a white button down shirt. Kronii set the body pillow onto the table, in between her and Fauna's breakfast. "This is the love of my life," Kronii said.
"A pillow can't love you the way I can!" Fauna exclaimed.
Kronii wagged her finger, clicking her tongue. "And that's where you're wrong. Nobody can love me better than myself."
Fauna squeezed the orange in her hand, juice spurting out as Kronii reached under the table yet again and pulled out a full body mirror, and set it next to the table. Kronii positioned it so herself and the body pillow were visible.
"When I set the mirror up like this," Kronii said while she grabbed the dakimakura off the table and started to cuddle it, "I can see just how happy we are together."
A rupture in spacetime materialized behind Kronii, and another Kronii stepped out, also carrying a body pillow of herself and a full body mirror.
"And when I do this," the two Kronii's said at the same time, while repositioning their mirrors. "We can create an infinity mirror!"
"That's a little-" Fauna wasn't able to finish her sentence as yet another, and another, and another rupture in spacetime materialized. A Kronii, each armed with a body pillow and mirror, stepped out of each rift, and each positioned their mirror to keep the infinity mirror going.
Each Kronii spoke at the same time, the voices thundering against Fauna's ears. "Not only is my love for myself infinite, it's also eternal across all of time!"
When Fauna peered into the void that each Kronii stood before, she could indeed see all of time stretching out before her, from the birth of the universe to its eventual heat death, and every single second inbetween
"Uuuuuuuuuu," Fauna whined, slumping onto the breakfast table, unable to process the ever growing amount of Kronii's.
Kronii wasn't too worried about Fauna's brain breaking as she had much more important things to do; like hug herself.
