"But she'll be different. She'll wonder why and how. She'll suffer." A women with long brown hair argued. She was carrying a baby, her green eyes symbolizing her being scared. That women very much looked like a younger, happier version of her mother. In front of her is a women with blonde hair, they both look very tense, looking at the little girl.
"But she needs to survive. She's the last one." They are walking along a narrow path, which leads to a big old house.
"When?"
"Ten minutes."
"I'll be back to on time"
"On time for what" The women with brown hair, possibly her mother, turns around.
"To die."
Aura woke up, sweating. She never had any special dreams and it was unusual for her to remember any of them. Probably a side effect of her break down. God, she really needed to get up her non-emotion side. Ifanybodysaw her like this, then nobody ever like her. It was already seven so Aura got up and got ready.
Aura's POV
I shared a room with another two girls. As I entered the room from after going to the bathroom. A blond haired girl sat on her bed. "Hello, we didn't have a chance to talk yet. My name is Luna, what is yours?" she said. I was overwhelmed. No one had actually beenniceto me. "I'm Aurora Harlow" I said, thinking that would scare her of. "Nice to meet you Aurora." I turned around, shocked. Why did she talk me, she knew who I was. "Everything okay?" Luna questioned. "Y-Yes. Just... Why on earth are you talking tome?" " Why not?"
"Well I'm an ancient, whatever that means. I'm probably not very powerful. And yes. You won't like me" I explained. "Why would either reason stop me to talk to you. From what I've heard you are the best student so far. and Dumbledore sees it the same, as he put you in second year." Luna had a bright smile on her face. "I'm going to breakfast, do you want to join?" " S-Sure"
As we arrived in the Great Hall everyone was staring at us. But Luna didn't even seen to notice and just sat down at the Ravenclaw table. I sat down next to her. "Our next lesson is Defense against the dark arts. With Professor Lockhart." Luna stated. I raised an eyebrow. "Do you like him?" I asked. " He seems very self-centred" Luna replied. I giggled. "Yes, you could say it that way. What's your favourite subject?" I asked. " I enjoy charms. What about you? " Luna replied with a bright smile. "Urgh... Honestly I don't know. I really like Charms too, but I like potions too." "Who said you couldn't have more then one favourite?" I smiled. This has been the best morning so far. "True"
"Harlow! Are you spreading your illness?! Oh, sorry I forgot it isn't supposed to be an illness. Ifyouwouldn't be, I wouldn't have detention with Snape. I'm not gonna forget that! He really got mad at me for some unknown reason. Probably be felt sorry for you and your pathetic life." I didn't even need to turn around to know who was telling me this. But before I could answer, Luna responded.
"Well seeing the fact Aurora can beat you in any duell, school subject or any reasonable debate, I don't see you having right to call her weak or making her responsible for your actions." With that Luna got up and I followed her, leaving a shocked Draco Malfoy behind.
"Thanks for that." I said to Luna. " No problem. Now let's go, we need to hurry to get to DADA. "
"Me. Gilderoy Lockhart, Order of Merlin, Third Class, Honourary Member of the Weekly's Most-Charming-Smile Award - but I don't talk about that. I didn't get rid of the Bandon Banshee by smiling at her! I see you've all bought a complete set of my books - well done. I thought we'd start today with a little quiz. Nothing to worry about - just to check how well you've read them, how much you've taken in..."
Lockharts far too annoying voice was ringing in all our ears. I couldn't believe our so named DADAteacherstarted DADA with a test, abouthimself. Of course I didn't know anything, I had read his books, in the hope to find some information about DADA, and well... I knew all about Lockharts interests, butnothingabout DADA. Well, I thought I knew about Lockhart's interests, but I couldn't really remember anything.
After some while Lockhart released some Pixies. He wasn't able to handle them, and I nobody really knew how to get rid of them. I got pretty scared after a while, since they were turning everything into a mess. Then suddenly, everyone felt very tired and could only move very slowly. It was like someone had slowed everything, including our thinking. Then, something even weirder happend: The Pixies disappeared. Suddenly they were just gone. Like they all disapperated, even if that wasn't possible for various reasons.
"Harlow what have you done?!" a Ravenclaw asked, as if I'd murdered someone.
"N-Nothing" I somehow managed to say.
"I found it brilliant!" Luna exclaimed. "Who here can just make a lot of pixies disappear?" Silence. "Exactly. Anyone want to tell Aurora something?" Silence again. "Right, let's go Aurora"
Third Person POV
After that, Luna and Aura left the classroom. Most of the girls loved Lockhart, but Aurora simply couldn't see any reason why to like this idiot. Of course he's done a few cool things, but didn't sound realistic and due to the fact he couldn't handle the pixies just showed how silly he really was.
Later that day Aura and Luna sat in their dorm and talked about different topics, when a snow-white owl flew in. It dropped a letter and flew away. "Who is it from?" Luna asked curious. "A- My sister" Aura replied. She opened the letter.
Dear Aura,
Mummy told me that you can do magic and you're learning all about it at that school, I think Mummy called it Hagwots or so. That's so cool! How do you do it? Can you tell me how to do it? Please?
I miss you so much and Mummy is really on edge the whole time, she's missing you too! Robert is very angry, he says that now you're gone nobody will do the household beside Mummy. I offered to help but he just said that it's not up to me to do the all the dirty work and that that's what Mummy and you are there for. I'm scared that he'll be mean to you when you come back.
I want to know everything about Hagwots! Are there other magic people? And how do you do magic? Are there unicorns? I wish I could go to Hogwarts too... Please answer!
Love, Asha.
A tear dropped from Aura's eye, but she quickly wiped it away. "What does she write?" Luna asked. Aura sighed. "She wants to know everything about Hogwarts and tells me that... Never mind" "Tells you what?" " That she and my mother miss me, and that... My... father is... Disturbed by the fact that I'm not at home. " Aura could tell that Luna knew what she ment with disturbed and why Aura what so hesitant to call that man her father, or at least could guess it, but she didn't question anything.
When Aura stood up, another letter fell onto the floor. "What's that?" Luna asked. Aura looked and found two pieces of paper, both letters from her parents. She opened the one from her mother.

Aurora,
I hope you're okay. I've received your letter and I'm sure you'll find Asha's with this one, and one from Robert too. I need you to know that I love you so much. I'm in great danger, and it really kills me knowing you'll need to handle Robert all alone. (We both know Asha can't see who he is (luckily?)) But I need you know some things.
I'm a witch. I can't tell you why or how. But you are a pure-blood. Robert isn't a wizard, he always will stay a muggle, an awful one I must say. They are after me, and after that they'll be seeking you. You're special Aura. They need something you've got. You'll easily stay alive for a few years, but if someone take some of your gift, doesn't matter how small, they won't be able to be be affected by it. Be careful who you trust. Who you let to steal your heart.
They will come some night, and always then you need to fight.
You need to live as long as you must.
But no one lives forever.
Some things, you need to die for to live.
Your mother,
Anne Ancient.
