Logon has returned to Pandora but his friends have come along too but with the threat of miles quaritch also there can Logon save his family and friends from his clutches

9. The fight

FADE IN:

EXT. PANDORA – DAY

JAKE and his clan, along with soldiers, are attacking MILES QUARITCH and his Navi army. Neytiri is fighting alongside Jake with her bow and arrow. Logan, Neytiri and Jake's child, is being guarded by a few of the Na'vi soldiers safe from the chaos of the battle.

NEYTIRI: (shouting) They are coming from the left!

JAKE: (shouting back) Got it!

QUARITCH: (shouting to his army) Keep it together! We can beat them!

As the battle continues, Logan's guards are attacked, leaving Logan vulnerable. Neytiri sees this and becomes worried. She signals Jake, who understands the urgency in her gesture.

JAKE: (to his soldiers) We need to rescue Logan! Now!

Jake, with Neytiri by his side, fight their way through the Navi army, eventually finding Logan, who is scared but safe.

NEYTIRI: (hugging Logan) My child, are you alright?

LOGAN: (smiling) Yes, Mom. Dad, too.

Suddenly, Quaritch appears behind them, pointing his gun at them.

QUARITCH: You really thought you could take me down just like that? This is not over!

JAKE: (to Neytiri) Get Logan to safety.

NEYTIRI: (nodding) I will.

Neytiri takes Logan and heads for safety. Jake and Quaritch face off in a brutal hand-to-hand combat. The remaining soldiers and Navi watch, knowing that this is a fight between two of the strongest warriors on Pandora. With Neytiri and Logan safe, Jake has nothing to lose.

JAKE: You picked the wrong side, Quaritch.

QUARITCH: (chuckles) I think I picked the winning side.

The two continue to fight, each one trying to overpower the other. Quaritch is strong, but Jake seems to have an endless supply of determination, pushing himself to his limit. Neytiri and Logan watch from a distance.

NEYTIRI: (whispering to Logan) Your father is a great warrior.

LOGAN: (nodding) I know.

Finally, Jake makes his move, grabbing Quaritch by the arm, twisting it, and sending him flying to the ground. Quaritch, defeated, looks up at Jake.

QUARITCH: (panting) You may have won the battle. But this war is far from over.

Jake stands up, looking at Quaritch with a satisfied grin.

JAKE: (smiling) You're right, Quaritch. This is just the beginning.

Neytiri and Logan run up to Jake, relieved to see him uninjured.

NEYTIRI: (happy) My love! You are safe!

LOGAN: (grinning) Dad!

JAKE: (embracing them) Let's go home.

Jake, Neytiri, and Logan walk away, leaving Quaritch and his army behind. The battle maybe over, but the war has just begun.
