Authors note: I plan on this only being a few parts so it's going to move pretty fast... if it gets enough attention I may continue onwards but only time will tell
Bella's pov
I reluctantly agreed to be looked at by Carlisle. I appreciate he wants to help me but I don't have faith of a life without them. We were there for hours doing all sorts of test
"Okay we are done" he said and smiled. I wouldn't say I looked happy
"What is wrong Bella"
"I don't see this working" is all I said before leaving.
I went home with the lights off. Maybe he's asleep? Maybe I missed him? I couldn't of been more wrong. This time it was a bat for nearly two hours. He knocked me nearly unconscious when I saw Alice. She bent that metal bat? That can't be right? Maybe I have a concussion and am seeing things.
Before I knew it I was in the ER.
Alice pov
"She would've been killed if I didn't stop" I told Carlisle.
"Did you see you"
"I'm not sure"
"I see a few different scenarios of the future. Most she finds out anyway, always keeping it a secret. Some she becomes one of us. The one I hope for the most is the one you and Esme getting custody of her"
"With her injuries, we'll be able to foster her. I would say a few weeks but usually, it ends up being a few days"
Suddenly she wakes up and almost jumps off the hospital bed. She looked me right in the eye and whispered "You bent a bat"
I gave Carlisle a worried look.
"Bella" he said
"You are going to stay with us for a few days, we have a few things we need to talk about"
I gave him a look and he just nodded.
45 minutes later
Bella pov
We were in the car. Sitting in silence. For a while at least
"So Bella, you can't tell anyone what you saw today." Carlise
"What did I see today? I can't make sense of it"
"We are vampires. All 7 of us. If you need more proof that is up to you. But you can't tell anyone. We really just want to try to protect you"
I didn't need proof. I believe it fully. I'm not sure if I should be scared of them but I'd be dead if it wasn't for Alice.
They only gave me 4 days to be with the Cullens but they told me they are battling for full custody of me. Which is nice I guess. I spent these for days getting to know them. They are all very nice and sweet people. I don't even care what they are I would be happy if I was put here permanently.
But the four days didn't last long enough and soon enough it was time for me to go home.
This time he didn't go far. Probably because he doesn't want the court into him.. but later that day I made the biggest mistake of my life.
At the table, ten beers too many. I finally had enough and I took it ways and started yelling I don't remember exactly what I said but I know he started hitting me with his chair when everything went black.
