Tails piloted the Tornado as the entire team was on board with Sonic on the wing as well as Knuckles on the other wing with them all looking serious and determined; they looked down as they had seen all the boats and crafts along with the aircrafts joining them moving the entire of the Kingdom of Acorn's military to join the fight against Robotnik.

They came across Robotnik's giant robot and his massive Badnik army but had saw that their kingdom wasn't the only that had the idea of immobilising their forces. There were the military and forces of the other settlements and kingdoms around Mobius nearby including from the War Lands and there was the countless crafts, tanks and armed soldiers of GUN from the United Federation.

"So you have all chosen to be defiant... On one hand I have to admire the boldness but on the other; I have to sigh at the foolishness..." Robotnik spoke through the robot with the head of the robot shaking. "Guess we will have to do this the hard way but let this serve as an example to all of Mobius that awaits them if they dare think that they could stand a chance at opposing me..." Robotnik spoke sending the Badniks after all the forces and moving the robot forward with the fists extending out to punch the aircrafts.

Tails was having to dodge the punches as well as the blasts from the flying Badniks while trying to fire the missiles and blasters at them and at the robots but nothing seemed to be doing anything to even phase them. Same for the ground forces fighting valiantly against the ground Badniks but with all the Chaos energy; they were able to take on even the strongest tank blasts.

Robotnik was chuckling at the chaos around him seeing that he was clearly winning in a one-sided battle but kept on the fight; some aircrafts that got close enough to the robot's moustache was hit by the moustache as a weapon to their shock. "The Stache Smasher..." laughed Robotnik as it continued.

Sonic and his team grew concerned but Knuckles got frustrated and impatient and glided down to lunge himself at air Badniks with him unable to damage them. Sonic then jumped down to help him trying to attack the Badniks with everyone shouting his name in worry. Sonic managed to move fast enough that some Badniks' blast missed and ended up hitting the others destroying them.

The two then started falling but the Tornado swooped down and Antoine and Sally helped them back up. "You had us worried..." Sally chided them but Nicole tapped her shoulder.

"Sally, everyone... Did you notice that the Badniks managed to destroy eachother?" Nicole pointed out and they blinked.

"The Chaos energy of all 7 Emeralds are being channelled into their power but that means that if they are hit by a blast of the same combined energy then..." Tails spoke and they blinked upon realising the point. They took hold as Tails then began focusing on dodging the blasts and allowing the other Badniks to get hit; the other aircrafts quickly caught onto the strategy and started using them and using the intercoms to give the strategy to their allied forces with them reaching the ground troops so they could try to use the same strategy as well.

Robotnik grew frustrated and started to be more proactive in smashing crafts and punching with them gulping; "We need to be able to damage the robot enough so we could separate the Chaos Emeralds; if only we could distract Robotnik..." Sally muttered but Sonic thought of something.

"Me! I can distract him and see about you all getting his own robots to fire at him and get him to hurt his own robot as well!" Sonic told them but they blinked in concerned and Sally didn't looked certain.

"Sonic! That's incredibly dangerous..." Sally protested but Sonic put a hand on her shoulder and gave his best reassuring smile as the others looked worried as well.

"Sal; we know that I am the best choice! Not only am I the strongest and fastest but I live rent free in his head; for a decade he could think of nothing but his utter humiliation at being bested me by when I was just an infant! If anyone can rile him up to the point that he will lose focus on everything else then it's me!" Sonic pointed out to her as Sally sighed as she looked down.

She then embraced him saying "You better be careful because I won't forgive you if you end up getting yourself killed out there..." Sonic then returned the embrace with them giving him good luck.

"I shall join you hedgehog!" Knuckles said gliding down and Sonic then jumped down and went from Badnik to Badnik until he jumped onto the giant robot's extended arm and ran up to reaching the robot.

Robotnik realising that Sonic was there then tried to punch at him but Sonic kept dodging as Sonic ran around the chest of the robot. "Pathetic Robotnik; you have the power of all 7 Chaos Emeralds and even then you can't beat me... You ever just stopped and think that it's not just me being all around awesome that you kept losing but just also you; that you are just a loser at heart that even when you managed to get all the tools to win, you still can't beat me!" Sonic laughed taunted as Robotnik's growl echoded throughout the microphone and he got all his air Badniks to focus on Sonic. Thet started firing and managed to hit him sending him falling down but Knuckles managed to punch at the chest breaking it open. He managed to get the Chaos Emeralds all out but they all fell as Knuckles was hit and he glided to the ground.

The robot and Badniks stopped for a second but soon they were all working again as Sonic landed on the ground with a thud and was barely awake yelling from the pain as the Emeralds landed around him. Sonic's team yelled his name in panic as the Tornado was hit by Tails managed to barely hold onto Sally and ANtoine and used his tails to fly and glide them down to the ground.

Sonic managed to see them land as he saw the other forces struggling hard against the Badniks. There was Lupe directly leading the Wolf Pack and yelled his name noticing him as the Wolf Pack were all surrounded by Badniks. There was Sonic's friends noticing him in concern as they were all surrounded barely able to do anything and he yelled out no.

Robotnik's laugh echoed throughout the robot's microphone as it stared down at him and lifted up the foot; "My machine has enough back up power to last until I retrieve my Emeralds; this is where you finally lose hedgehog... Your corpse shall be the crown jewel of my trophy case... I shall conquer Mobius, then the universe then the Multiverse... Maybe that will be enough or maybe not; I will think about it when it comes to that... not that you are going to live anywhere close to long enough to see all that..." Robotnik taunted as it stepped down with Sonic having his vision blur as he saw his friends screaming for him in panic.

They are all counting on him...

Then all the others fighting for their lives...

He couldn't let it end like this...

He had to keep fighting somehow...

Soon his quills and fur turned glowing and the 7 Chaos Emeralds glowed and gathered towards him...

Sonic's friends softly yelled no as they saw the robot's foot stomp down. Knuckles even solemnly putting his head down as he had landed on the ground and was trying to fight the Badniks.

Robotnik in the cockpit laughed triumphantly screaming that he had done it; "I had done it! I have finally exterminated that rodent... I have won! I am the genius at heart..." Robotnik spoke with glee but stopped as he saw the error reports on his console. "This can't be right..." Robotnik muttered in confusion.

The foot was held unable to go down as standing up was Sonic looking serious and he floated up enough for everyone to see him; they looked on in awe, shock and surprise to see his fur and quills glowing bright yellow...
