Final battle!
After this only the epilogue left
Ladybug and Chat Noir stepped through the final portal. To the main threat herself. They were atop of a mountain, inside of some ruins, rubble was everywhere. They briefly looked around. "What do you think this place is?" Chat asked.
Ladybug went to some nearby rubble and wiped some of the snow and dirt of it, and saw a familiar symbol. "The Guardians symbol. I guess this is where it all began. The Temple of the Guardians."
"Indeed. Quite thematic isn't it? Or ironic, not sure what to call it?" a female voice said. They turned towards the owner of the voice and weren't surprised to see that it was the voice of Mahamayuri. She stood there with a solemn look on her face. "The Ladybug and the Black Cat. Part of me would have been…excited to test your strength. But right now it's just a chore to finish…"
"Mei…" Ladybug wanted to say.
"Mei is dead!" Mahamayuri growled. "She died alongside Wang Fu!" she calmed down and went from angry and depressed again. "I have nothing left. A world I can't fix, everyone I loved was gone, and a universe I can no longer fit in. So I'll wipe the slate clean. Of course you young ones still think there is a better way and you're here to stop me…"
"Damn right we are!" Chat Noir said.
"Figures…well then, let's see whom is more determined, whom will win out…" she morphed into her monster form. In a deeper, more guttural roaring voice. "Show me your worth!" Then she slithered at a rapid pace at our heroes. She pounced, and the two jumped aside. She reconverged into a humanoid form the two closed in. She started trading blows with them, with movements so fast they seemed to come out of a kung-fu movie. However then she started to twist her body into ways a normal human can't and stretched out her arms and whipped them around. She managed to grab the heroes, spins her upper body and threw the heroes about.
They landed on their feet though as Ladybug lashed with her yo-yo, but Mahamayuri leaned back, got on hands and feet like a demonic contortionist. Her head vanished and reappeared on the other end as she took on a spider-like form. She jumped at the heroes and lashed with its sharp forelegs, but Chat came in and blocked the lashings with his staff. She then turned into a spherical blobby mass which floated off the ground, and grew spikes, which she fired. Chat and Ladybug spin their weapons in front of them to deflect the attacks.
She turns back into a humanoid form and she clapped her hands, she spikes that were shattered earlier exploded around them. As the room went up in fire and smoke, Mahamayuri knew it wouldn't be enough. Sure, as from the smoke Ladybug's yo-yo shot out and she caught it in her hand. However, the yo-yo was still spinning rapidly and it cut off her fingers. Mahamayuri screeched in pain but her fingers regrew. Chat Noir came in, his staff's ends glowing with acid tips, but she grabbed it, right below the tip to not get burned. However, Chat detached the bottom part of the staff, whom split in two and shoved the acid top in her face. Ladybug came in, but now the wire of her yo-yo was glowing as she wrapped it around her, and it burned her skin and started to cut into it. Mahamayuri then saw the two acid tipped batons shoved at her. She turned liquid, phased through the wire and reformed, but this time as a two headed serpentine creature. Mahamayuri shot flames from both heads. The heroes put their weapons back in front of them to block.
Ladybug's yo-yo enlarged to become a shield to block the blast before splitting apart into the Ladyblades. She flew in, started to hack at the snake head focused on her. The snake swayed out of the way of some strikes, posing itself to striking back, btu as she did that, the lower jaw was cut off. However, the snake head shifted into a claw-like shape to grab at Ladybug. Ladybug pulled out two more swords, of her predecessor Ladybugs and attached them to the Ladyblade to make two double sabers.
Chat Noir still had his staff in its split two baton forms and acid tips active, lashing at the snake head focused on him. The agile snake head avoided the swift strikes and lashed at Chat. Chat barely didn't avoid and had to drop one of his batons but aside a scratch on the back of his hand didn't suffer greater damage. Chat clawed in the air, clawing a portal into existence and took a few things out. First was a huge cleaver weapon, which he used to leave a painful mark on the snake head's nose as it got too close. Ladybug wasn't the only one with her predecessor's weapons. Then he pulled out a rapier, and that's where his fencing expertise came in. Because he planted it in the would he made earlier.
Mahamayuri then split her two big snake heads into a hundred smaller ones, like a hydra. Each of the heads started to spring forward to rapidly lash at the heroes. However, Ladybug brought the double Ladyblades in front of her and started to cut each of the heads trying to get close enough. Chat recovered both batons, and they split apart further, held together by a string of green energy, the tips glowing, creating a pair of acid-tipped nunchucks. He started waving them around in front of him and like Ladybug started to strike at the various snake heads too. As they cut all the heads that came for them, they cut them down and started to push back towards Mahamayuri's main body.
Mahamayuri took a humanoid form again briefly, but then she started to melt into a puddle, and flowed all over the room, including under the heroes. Tendrils shot out and grabbed onto the heroes, dragging them down on the floor as she started to cover them to try and smother them. Chat's hands were spread and stretched out apart, so that he couldn't use his Cataclysm for his hands. However Chat opened his eyes, glared at the goop at his feet and energy shot out, burning through it. Mahamayuri let him go as some of her being got destroyed. "No longer need my hands for Cataclysm!" Chat noted.
Ladybug focused her energy inwards as well, her spots glowed as beams of light shot out of them, also blasting Mahamayuri's gooey body of her and breaking free. Mahamayuri reformed but she looked worse for the wear. She vibrated and had a pained expression but shifted herself back in a healthier shape. She then opened her eyes, which glowed red.
The emotional pressure attack, she performed them on the two, whom grabbed their chest, as they felt the pressure as feelings of fear, sorrow and despair overcame them. However, they made a gesture with their hands and started muttering a few words, and their minds cleared instantly. Mahamayuri looked at them with only mild surprise and dully noted: "Oh, so he managed to teach you that trick."
"He taught us many more things!" Ladybug said as she and Chat took another battle pose. Mahamayuri then shot forward again but she is in a smoky form this time. She rams into the two and sent them flying. She turns around and rushed at them again. The heroes try to swat with their weapons, but in her smoke form she is no longer vulnerable. She drags them along in her smoky form and started to throw them into the rocky surfaces of the mountain over and over. "This doesn't work!" Ladybug groaned.
"I know bad guys whom blow hot smoke but she is literally hot smoke." Chat said. "Say, remember Style Queen?"
"Good idea!" Ladybug said as she grabbed her yo-yo and starts spinning it around real fast to create a wind tunnel to trap her smoky form in it.
Mahamayuri was forced to become solid again to stop spinning around so much. She transforms into a huge spherical form and was about to run them over, the heroes running for it as they were chased by Indiana Jon's boulder, only a heatseeking one that follows them around. "Kitty! Your cane!" Ladybug suggested.
"How would…Oh, I get it!" Chat said as he turned around, planted his staff diagonally, at the moment the sphere was in range and flicked it up to knock Mahamayuri's spherical form upwards. It then splattered like a paint filled balloon and her being started to rain in globs around the battlefield. Now the globs started to form into humanoid black monsters with the only defining features being glowing eyes. Then they rushed and swarmed them like zombies on a caffeine rush.
They pounced as one by one the heroes kicked the horde off them. Though some managed to get close enough to bite or scratch them but would be dispatched after a good scratch or kick, though there was suit damage and some scratches on them. After the horde was dispatched they recombined in Mahamayuri, whom now transformed into a giant demonic moth. Its wings spread, showing monstrous eye designs on its wings. These eyes started to glow and it didn't look good. A purple colored tornado blast shot out at the heroes and they were sent flying and spinning, harder then when they were captured in the smoke. However, Ladybug flapped her wings harder to fight back against the wind and grabbing Chat Noir. She then throws him at Mahamayuri, Chat's arms glowing with shadowy aura as they took on a claw like form. He was flung at Mahamayuri, and he cut through the wings of her form, sending her crashing down onto the ground. Mahamayuri reformed but shouted out as her whole body glowed and energy washed across the room as she obliterated the surroundings.
When she was done, she was panting onto the floor back to her human form. There was now a crater where the remains of the temple where, and the ground has turned to glass from the burn. She saw a pile of soot in the distance, which started collapsing, revealing a silvery coil underneath. It undoes itself, revealing that Ladybug and Chat had wrapped themselves in the durable unbreakable string of the yo-yo to protect themselves. Despite everything, she wouldn't give in. Especially due what she sensed next. "The Venomous, and Puppet Master…they've been defeated."
"All right, that's our team!" Chat said happily.
"I never doubted our team for a moment." Ladybug said with a smile.
"Why did they have to do that, why did they go and defeat them. The Venomous would have been the quicker less painful way. Now I will have to do it with my bare hands, their suffering will be drawn out and it'll be ALL ON YOU!" The maddened Mahamayuri exploded in burst of shadows, sparks and something goo-like. Huge coils of a serpentine being were large enough to wrap around the mountain as It formed. Clawed arms of the coil dug themselves into the mountain, which started to crack. Its head formed into a something reptilian with antlers, whiskers and teeth. An Eastern dragon. It was utterly massive to dwarf even dinosaurs. "Perish!" she said as she brought down dark purple lightning down onto the mountain.
The bolt came in so fast they couldn't dodge this one. Even if, she had shapeshifted into something big enough to wrap around the mountain, there was nowhere to run. There was a crackle, and a flash. When it died down, the heroes lay there, parts of their armor and suit burned off, skin red, raw and burned, even some crack/vein like patterns on parts of their body. They also seemed to flicker in and out of existence, as if they had trouble holding their tranformations together. "That was…a strong blow." Chat muttered.
"She is a being brought forth by the energies of the Peacock and Butterfly, part of her being. We know what negative emotions and madness do in combination with that. And right now she is at her pinnacle of despair." Ladybug muttered. She and Chat slowly got up, but barely.
"You still stand, even in the face of death. Admirable yet futile. My anger, my rage, my sorrow grows…and so will my power, you cannot stand up to me. You cannot save this world, as I will destroy it. I will save you the pain of having to see your loved ones, just and brave and noble as you die…and they will die as the honorable warriors they are, that's the final respect I can give." Mahamayuri said.
"In your madness you still call yourself the good guy? Thinking you are in the right? Your mind has been clouded for decades, for the hurt to heal. But all my power involves healing…Mahamayuri, time to de-evilize you!" Ladybug said.
"We will stop you, and grant you the reprieve you need, we will save this world…And for all its flaws, there is good in the world, worthy of saving and that's what we'll do, no matter how long it takes." Chat Noir said.
"There is one more thing we haven't tried yet. And I think it is about time we use it." Ladybug touched her earrings as she turned towards Chat Noir.
"Now is as good a moment as ever, Milady." Chat Noir fumbled with the ring.
"What do you think you're going to do? Oh wait…the Wish? It won't work. It demands balance, the wish is never what you want it to be. Not a single person has ever been able to keep control of their wish or get what they wanted in the end." Mahamayuri noted.
"You are right. Not a single person has ever used it successfully." Ladybug said.
"But we are not a single person!" Chat Noir noted. He turned to Ladybug. He put his hands on her ear, where one of the Earrings was. "Plagg…"
"Tikki!" Ladybug said as Chat put a hand on her cheek. She touched that hand, feeling his ring.
"Unify!" they both said and the two vanished in a swirl of colors. At first it was black and red. You could see the images of Plagg and Tikki in their true godly forms. Tikki was like a Fae Queen, Plagg like a feline deity. They roared as the swirl of energy turned gold and royal purple. Tikki and Plagg vanished but instead a godly being, their combined aspects was in the background. It nodded as it vanished, or faded into the swirling energy.
A being now stood in its place. From head to toe covered in a royal purple armor with golden accents. Its appearance was androgynous. One of its eyes was green and cat like, another blue and insect-like. One of its arms was black with a pauldron shaped as a cat head and clawed hand. The other arm was red with a pauldron shaped as a Ladybug. Two wings spouted from its back. A black angel wing, and another transparent angel wing, with each feather being an enlarged insect wing. The being raised its hands, summoning the yo-yo and the staff and put them together. They formed a Khakkara staff. It spoke in a voice that blended Marinette's, Adrien's, Tikki's and Plagg's. "We are Omni! We are the ultimate aspect of the combined powers of creation and destruction, the perfect unification of body, mind, soul and heart. And to keep balance in this world, you shall pay, Mahamayuri!"
"No…" Mahamayuri said. "This should be impossible. It is a trick. No one Is worthy, I was not worthy to wield both powers…perish!" She summoned the lightning again but Omni just lifted their arm and swatted it away. They spread their wings and flew upwards. Omni just waved their staff about, and it created a gust of golden wind which blew Mahamayuri off the mountain, sending her draconic form flying. She recovered though and flew up.
"The Venomous have been robbed of their hosts, but they are still active as much like Kwami they are spirits and embodiments. They cannot be destroyed. But they can be banished from this plane forever." Omni raised the staff, and five bubbles, each with the Venomous Kwamis inside were summoned.
"Hey, what is the meaning of this?" Muukad, the Centipede Kwami asked.
"As spirits of decay, senseless destruction and the end of all, you are going to be cast to a plane where your concepts become meaningless hence making you powerless…you are cast beyond the Veil. Now begone!" Omni said as a portal was opened and the Kwami flung in there.
"No fair!" Gakko whined.
"This is not the glorious ending to my performance I envisioned!" Micruu said.

This is horrible." Gamma muttered.
"You will pay for this!" Muukad growled.
"This is actually quite pleasant!" Sasoori lied as they vanished to the great beyond, to never harm anyone again.
Omni's work was far from done as they now pointed at Mahamayuri. "And now for you!"
"I am undying! I haven't been able to end myself, I will only be gone with the end of all. You cannot end my misery!" Mahamayuri.
"I will grant you peace." Omni said.
Spread out, but still very aware, the remaining Miraculous heroes and their allies sensed what was going on. "Did you feel that?" Queen Bee asked.
"I…I think so." Rena Rouge noted.
"Dude! I think I tasted that!" Carapace added.
"Hold on to your seats people…" Pipistrello said to the readers. "Things are going to get really, really wild!"
The other Miraculous teams just looked in the sky, for something that others couldn't see, they couldn't see, but they could sense. They all looked determined, giving their silent support to them.
Especially the parents. Tom and Sabine hugged each other tightly, hands intertwined. "Kick her ass, Marinette!" they both said.
"Go get her, champ!" Greg muttered softly.
"Adrien…you and Marinette can do it."
Omni glowed. The image of all their teammates, all of their friends and families, and loved ones, and anyone whom had faith in them, appeared behind them. Glowing golden transparent versions. Mahamayuri could see it too. How these two, united as they are, have such support and so many whom they have loving and caring for them. "They have so much…" she said softly as she shed a tear, as monstrous as she may be. "And I have…nothing. I have nothing. NOTHING!" she let anger overtake her again as she roared.
Tornadoes sprung into existence and started sucking up nearby water, becoming watery whirlwinds which converged onto Omni, trapping them. She then summoned a hundred dark purple lightning bolts to bombard them. . However, it wasn't enough. Because Omni broke free, just using a glowing aura to do so. Mahamayuri roared and charged at Omni. But as she reached Omni, the world around her shifted.
She doesn't know why, but she was in outer space somehow. "Is this real, or a trick?" she wondered. She didn't have time to do so as she was hit by meteors. As she shook her head from the blows she saw Omni, pointing their staff at her. They snapped their finger and a black hole came into existence. She was nearly sucked in but shifted in an energy form to outrun the suction before reforming into a dragon. Then she found that an enormous Omni looked over her. So enormous they were able to grab two lifeless planets on their hands and sandwiched her between them.
With a major pain in her whole being, she was back at the former mountainside. Trick or not, that hurt like Hell. She fell onto the ground but instead shifted into the form of a dark phoenix, spitting shadowy flames at her opponent. Omni just spun their staff lazily in front of them and the fire was wrapping around the tip like it was cotton candy. Then they took the flames spun around their staff and it became a sphere of energy. Not bigger than a football but power radiated from it. They threw it at Mahamayuri.
She was engulfed into the blast; A burst of light energy created a shockwave around the entire area…Formerly lifeless wastelands began to bloom with beautiful plants and life. The energy traveled far, harming nothing else, instead invigorating any living being, repairing any heavy damage, healing every ailment and wounds, and restoring the mountainside behind them, including with a new temple, though none of the former monks.
But to Mahamayuri, it felt just as bad as the planet sandwich. She now appeared in the form of a monstrous female giant and tried to crush Omni in her hands like a gnat. Omni just formed a white ring of light around it, like a halo or shield. The hands came down but couldn't break the ring and were being pushed back. Omni rushed forward, up to Mahamayuri's collarbone and struck with the palm of their hand. Despite her size, Mahamayuri was sent flying and knocked down. She turned into a smaller form, though it wasn't clear what it was since it was a melted inconsistent mass that was shifting. "Why can't you just let me end it?" Mahamayuri said with a shaky voice.
"Not on these terms." Omni said. "Let go of it…just finally go to rest. Don't hurt yourself no more."
"Hurt is still the reason I exist. It is the only thing keeping me going. I can't let go until I finished my task. I cannot let go!" Mahamayuri took on her standard mothman-inspired monster form again and shot at Omni like an arrow.
Omni didn't react. They were calm. Because they knew this is where it ended. Omni just traced a circle in front of them with their staff. Ancient Chinese characters appeared in the air around them. Spelling out 'life', 'death', 'creation', 'destruction', 'fortune', misfortune', 'renewal' and 'eradication'. The staff was absorbed in their hand, which started to glow, and then it absorbed the characters. The images of all of the components' loves ones, heroes, kwamis, friends, heroes, teammates, those whom admire and respect them all appearing before turning into specs of light also absorbed in the glowing fist of Omni. Mahamayuri kept going closer and closer. Omni channeled all their energy, their wings becoming two identical white wings made of white light, the pauldrons shifting into two identical ones with eye symbols and their armor turning white and gold. They threw the glowing fist forward, colliding with Mahamayuri…and then the world faded to white.
There was a white void. Ladybug and Chat Noir stood there, back to their normal hero forms, fully healed and healthy. In front of them they saw Mahamayuri…No, Mei. She was on her knees, her face in her hands, crying. She stopped to look up at the heroes. "So this is it…I lost, didn't I?"
"Yes." Ladybug said; This victory didn't feel as good as she saw the broken woman in front of her. "I'm sorry."
She stopped crying but the sorrow hadn't faded. She was just beyond tears at this point. "At this point…I don't feel much anymore. All this time I had spite and anger fueling me…but it is a fire I desperately tried to keep going and fueled. And now it is burned out."
"Sorry about the hurt you endured but…we couldn't just let you be." Chat Noir noted.
"No, you're right. I guess your ideals won out, your strength, your bonds outclassed my own powers and skills. And oddly, I'm ok with that. Maybe a part of me didn't want to win? I don't know for sure. But what does it matter. I'm dead. The monster that nearly ended the world is dead. There should be lots of rejoicing." Mei muttered softly.
"It didn't feel like that it's just…" Chat Noir said.
"Don't sugarcoat it. I have become a monster, no better then those I fought eons ago. I'll just move beyond the veil, it'll be done. You enjoy your safe world, it being in good hands with you and your loved ones. I myself…eternity will not be kind. I haven't done anything to deserve Heaven…and those I love are there."
"I wish I could have taken your pain away." Ladybug said, sounding genuine.
"You already did. I am ready to accept…everything." Mei sighed. "I guess a shitty afterlife is waiting for me, all alone. I deserve no less."
"I wouldn't say that." A warm voice sounded. All three looked up at the source of the voice. He stood there…Looking quite a big younger and in the prime of his life, but it was clearly Master Fu. "Hello." He said casually with a wave. And even when dead, he was wearing that tacky Hawaiian shirt.
"Master Fu!" Ladybug and Chat Noir said in unison.
"Brother…is that really you?" Mei asked.
"Yes, sister. I am here." He said.
"But…shouldn't you have…gone ahead already?" Mei asked.
"Good thing about eternity…it's eternal. I waited for a bit, I waited for you, so that we could face eternity together." Fu explained.
"But…I am a monster. I went against everything I believed, I was a being of pure anger, spite, I tried to destroy everything, even what you held dear. How can I be forgiven?" Mei broke down in tears again.
Fu sat down next to her and hugged her. "There is a journey between this world and the next, which all souls must take, to reflect on whom they were and what they did in life. And for everyone, it leads somewhere different. But whatever waits for me, doesn't matter, I'll be by your side to see where it leads you."
"Even if it leads to damnation?" Mei asked. "Because you don't deserve it."
"You don't deserve it either. For all the wrong you've done…you are not a monster, you are someone whom is hurt." Fu assured her.
"Tell that to any head honcho we see in the after. They will judge me for all the bad I've done." Mei said.
"As well as the good." Fu said.
"Always too optimistic, are you?" Mei asked. She has a slight smile, but she looks tired.
"We promised that it was us against the world, right? I never said it just has to be the world of the living." Fu said.
"You sap." Mei said dryly. She got up alongside Fu. "Just walk with me a bit, but don't follow me if we find something bad at the end."
"No promises." Fu joked. He then turned to Ladybug and Chat Noir. "You two have grown so much. I am proud to have called you my students, my allies, my friends…My family." Master Fu said. "I knew I left the world in good hands."
"I'll say, I can still somehow feel the blows." Mei snarked.
"Will you be ok? Will she be ok? It's just…we all miss you." Ladybug said, wiping her tears.
"It is not goodbye. Like I said, eternity is eternal. We'll see each other again, sooner or later. But before we do, best live this life to the fullest." Fu said.
"I promise we will." Chat Noir said, sobbing as well.
"Guess it's time to move…Let's not dally." Mei said. She felt like it became too awkward for her. "Eternity as eternity may be…would be tacky to just stand there waiting."
"Mei…we hope that whatever you find at the end, that you'll be all right." Ladybug assured.
"Despite it all, you suffered through a lot you didn't deserve." Chat Noir added.
Mei sighed. "You're just like him." she pointed her thumb at Fu. "Guess that's why he took you in. He taught you well. Now don't use this as an excuse to let up. You showed me the power that saved the world, now keep it safe. I would hate it would be for naught."
"As I enjoy catching up with family…best you do the same with your friends and family." Fu said. "They'll have a million questions, and there won't be enough time to answer. Enjoy the time you have with them, and the new family and friends you may still make along the way."
"I promise we will live life to the fullest." Ladybug said as she grabbed Chat Noir's hand. Chat merely nodded.
"I have no doubts. Now, shall we go, sister?" Fu turned back to Mei.
"Just the two of us…just like old times…kind of?" Mei said. She grabbed her brother's hand and they walked off, as the white void faded.
Marinette and Adrien, with Tikki and Plagg in their laps, reappeared on the mortal plain again, and found themselves surrounded by all their friends and allies. "Marinette! Adrien" their names sounded at different intervals in different voices. They then all suddenly got glomped to the point they feared that their friends may accomplish what Mei had failed and kill them.
"Please, everyone give them room to breathe!" Tom said as he guided everyone away from Marinette and Adrien.
"And allow us to hug our daughter!" now Sabine and Tom bombarded Marinette with a tight hug form all around.
"Mom! Dad! Oxygen!"
"Adrien, my proud superhero boy!" Emilie said as she glomped her son. "Are you ok? Not hurt? No scratches, bruises, curses?" she said as she checked him for injuries.
"No worries mom, after me and Marinette united, all our wounds are gone…" Adrien said, slightly embarrassed.
"United?" everyone asked in surprise.
"Yeah, we used the Ladybug and Black Cat in a different way which turns out the right way to use its full power. We merged into a godly being and defeated Mayamayuri." Marinette explained.
"Er…how did that feel?" Alya asked.
"Like being myself and someone else at the same time. But in so much synch…hard to explain." Adrien said.
"So you've been inside of Marinette?" Lila asked with a cheeky grin.
"Yes…I mean no! I mean…you know what I mean, mind out of the gutter!" Adrien babbled. Lila just cackled at her joke.
"I would say buy her dinner first but you've already done that." Greg joked.
"Uncle Greg…" Adrien covered his face in his hands, blushing, Marinette doing the same.
"Let's put them out of their misery. I think we all want to go back home and rest a bit. Saving the world is tiring as hell." Nino suggested.
"Yeah, luckily we're done now. But…how were things with Mahamayuri now? Is she truly gone?" Chloé asked.
"Yeah…She is…she is at peace now. She is no longer in pain." Marinette said.
"Dude, we won, why doesn't it feel so less victory-like?" Kim asked.
"I still think there is room for a celebration. After we all got caught up on some rest at least." Alix said as she stretched and yawned.
"Not to mention grabbing a bite. I'm famished." Rose said as she patted her belly.
"Screw it! My treat, I am reserving a restaurant for all of us." Chloé said. A lot of people agreed with that little statement.
Marinette and Adrien just held hands, tuned everyone other out and looked at each other. "Can't believe this all started with a clumsy girl whom nearly was late for school."

"You don't have to hope, it's a certainty." Marinette said. They walked away hand in hand as they followed their friends and allies away. "Say…how would you describe the feeling we have now?"
"Miraculous!" Adrien said.
"Yeah, it's simply the best." Marinette said as they kissed each other.
After inspiring the other couples among the group to also kiss, everyone went home. They would enjoy themselves. But the world would still need them as heroes later. But not right now, first they get some well-earned rest.
