Ace woke up, feeling refreshed.

It was great to be the Star of the Stars of the Stars. He can support his family, even if he didn't really need to.

"Ace, breakfast is ready."

"Hai, Tsumuri-nee-san." Ace responded as he got up from his futon and started his morning routine.

As soon as he was out of his room, his mom and sister were already at the table but there were no plates on it despite the announcement earlier.

Then again, maybe they want to talk about things before we eat.

"Ace, before we eat, we have something special for you."

Now, Ace was really confused. Sure his father went missing on his way back home from a business trip… Wait, did they find Dad?"

Tsumuri handed Ace a small red box and got him really confused.

Seeing as he's not going to lose anything if he opens it, he does so and found a white toy with a fox logo on its face on top of a lone gold coin.

"A fox?"

Ace tried to retrieve the white circle, but once he had touched it, a myriad of events flashed through his mind as he remembered the memories he had forgotten.

"Kaa-san."

Ace immediately went to his mother and hugged her.

"I thought I lost you."

"It's okay, my child, I'm here," Mitsume stroked her son's hair. "And I will try not to repeat history."

"You better."

"Who won?" Ace removed himself from his mother and looked at Tsumuri with both dread and curiosity.

"The latest and last Desire god… Tycoon."

"Tycoon finally won, huh." A smirk graced Ace's face as he remembered his second meeting with the Tanuki rider. "He's one of the strongest rivals I had".

Ace reminisced on the feats that Tycoon had

"Wait, did you say last?"

"I used the last of my powers to grant Tycoon's wishes."

"Wishes?"

"Ace, Keiwa-kun is no more." Mitsume shook her head.

"Why? How?"

"I don't know."

"He took your place, Tsumuri-chan." Mitsume shook her head. "Using the last of your powers, would eventually…"

"Just like kaa-san…"

"Keiwa-kun probably knew it before…"

"He said he wasn't…"

"Take your time, Ace."

"Nee-san, do you have Tycoon's ID core?" Ace looked at Tsumuri.

"His core vanished as soon as he did, and the Vision Driver broke after he made his last wish."

"I see."

"You got quite attached to him, didn't you, Ace?"

"It was fascination at first, how someone like him was drafted into the Grand Prix," Ace admitted. "He's easy to fool, helpful and he wears his heart on his sleeve."

"Sakurai Keiwa-sama has shown resilience and adaptability in situations seasoned fighters than him have already folded."

"That and he's a good pers– he was a good person."

"This was left where he stood," Tsumiri gave Ace a purple shuriken. "I believe this belonged to him.

Ace knew that his mother and Tsumuri were telling the truth, he just couldn't help but try to confirm things for himself.

He arrived at the apartment where he Tycoon lived, because of the Jamar fruit game, but the name on the plate was different.

"Kaa-chan, Tou-chan, the trash collectors aren't here yet."

The familiar voice of Hakubi caught Ace's attention as he looked over the other apartment complex, larger and more expensive than the one he was standing on.

"Kaa-chan, tou-chan."

"Could Tycoon have revived his parents?"

"Come back inside then, today's the only chance when the three of us have a day off from work." An unfamiliar voice echoed from the inside of the open apartment. "We're cleaning your brother's grave later in the day."

"Grave?"

Ace shook himself, maybe Tycoon had lost someone else other than his parents.

He went over to the neighboring complex and knocked on the door where Hakubi entered earlier.

"Hai-Ace-sama!"

"Now Sara, what did we tell you about answering the door?"

"Hai," Hakubi gulped and composed herself. "Hai, Ace-sama, how can I help you today?"

"Is a Sakurai Keiwa here?"

"From where did you hear that name?"

Ace was quite surprised to hear Hakubi growl, let alone growl at him at the mention of her brother's name.

"Sara." A male voice called. "Get ready in your room, we will handle this."

Hakubi simply left the door without a word.

"Sorry about her, it's been years since our son was involved in the kidnapping of Kurama Neon and our daughter is still guilty, she feels that when she prioritized school over him that she had killed him."

"It's okay, I understand." Ace shook his head.

"Come inside," The Sakurais invited Ace inside their apartment. "I'm Shigeru, and this is my wife Yukino."

"Nice to meet you." Ace bowed at his older companions before he entered their home.

"If I might be so bold in asking, I'd like an answer to Sara's question."

"I don't know who it was," Ace stated as he retrieved a purple shuriken. "They said that I should give this to Sakurai Keiwa who said lived in the other apartment complex." He placed the shuriken on the table.

"Why?"

"He said, I could meet someone important to me."

"I would have told you that you got scammed, but this was the paper shuriken he brought with him when he first started middle school and has carried it with him, until the day of the kidnapping."

Suddenly, Hakubi sat on the table beside her mother.

"Sara,"

"No, I should be here. I need to know who's using my brother's name."

"Dear, Ace doesn't know who."

"But why?"

"Actually, he also said I give this to a Sakurai Sara however, I don't know what it is."

"Me?"

Ace revealed a cylindrical object on his palm.

Sara moved to touch the object when she remembered everything that has happened in her life, including the deaths of her parents and her brother.

"I need to get going." Ace flipped his hand and let the ID core land on Hakubi's palm. "I still need to get to work."

"Of course," Shigeru nodded. "If you encounter the person who told you to bring us our son's paper shuriken, please send him our way."

"I will." Ace nodded.

Ace didn't have to wait long before Hakubi exited her new house and found him.

"Ace-sama, what is happening?!"

"Tycoon got his wishes granted."

"But he's dead!" Sara hissed. "He was kidnapped alongside Neon-chan eight years ago and he died in it."

"I don't know myself, I was just trying to see if what I knew was true." Ace admitted.

"Well now you know, what now?"

"In this world, Na-go and Kurama Akari are two different persons."

"And Neon-chan's the one who got kidnapped," Sara raised an eyebrow. "Is that why my parents are working for the Kurama Zaibatsu now?"

"Most probably, while they made your brother's involvement in the kidnapping a secret in the news, they still knew that another kid was involved and died." Ace scrolled through his phone and showed the related article to his companion.

"What's your next move?"

"I'm gathering everyone involved in the last Desire Royale," Ace stated. "We need to make heads or tails with the current situation."

"Are you including the sparrow too?"

"He can sit this one out." Ace gave the Sakurai as smirk.

"Tch, where is Punk Jack anyway?" Michinaga clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Why should we be concerned about what's happened afterward, there's no more of this Desire Grand Prix nonsense."

"Easy for you to say," Neon pouted. "I don't think I can get over the memory of a young Keiwa dying in front of me just as the police came in."

"Tycoon, what?"

"Didn't you know, Buffa?"

"Keiwa was at the wrong place at the wrong time, on his way home, he witnessed people trying to kidnap Neon-chan, and of course, without regard for his safety he tried to stop it."

"Ha?!" Michinaga exclaimed.

"Quiet, will you?" Toru, who had been sitting beside Michinaga elbowed his friend. "I know you hate Kamen Riders, I don't think your snide remarks against them are appreciated here."

"It's because he wished for that to happen." Win sat beside Ace.

"About time."

"I heard from Kaa-chan," Win stated. "There were gaps in our memories, even after we touched the ID cores, so I went to towards the companies who had been backing the Desire Grand Prix in this era, and it seems like each company keeps a record of the Desire Grand Prix's exploits in the current era."

"Is it technology from the future?"

"Yes, it hasn't been operational since the last wish was granted."

"Here are the wishes that Tycoon, no, Sakurai Keiwa had Tsumuri grant for him."

Win placed the touchpad, which he had been holding the entire time, on the table for everyone to see.

Everyone leaned on the table and saw all eight wishes that Keiwa had Tsumuri grant.

"A world where everyone who perished in the Desire Grand Prix, Jamato Grand Prix, and Desire Royale are back with their desires intact." Win read.

"Must be the wish that brought tou-chan and kaa-chan back." Sara whispered to herself.

"Very specific wording." Win nodded.

"A world where Kurama Akari and Kurama Neon coexist." Sara read the second wish.

"Akari-chan…" Neon bit her lower lip.

"A world where Ukiyo Ace is together with his mother, the former goddess of creation, Mitsume." Toru read the wish.

"Tycoon… Why?"

"A world where everyone I love and cherish finds their own happiness." Neon read the wish with a wistful smile.

"That's awfully sweet of him," Win remarked. "Now I feel bad for essentially abandoning him."

"A world where the happiness that was taken by the Desire Grand Prix is returned." Ace frowned as he read the wish.

"Tch, He hasn't changed one bit." Michinaga clicked his tongue.

"A world where the Desire Grand Prix can no longer exploit our world." Neon read.

"Awww, he even thought about you, Michinaga."

"A world where a Sakurai Keiwa was kidnapped and killed in place of Kurama Akari." Win's eyes widened as he read the wish.

Everyone's reactions were immediately apparent with Neon and Sara biting their respective lips, Michinaga and Toru mirrored Win's reaction as Ace glared at the device that contained Keiwa's last wishes.

"A world where I, Sakurai Keiwa, die in the current goddess of creation's, Tsumuri, place." Michinaga seemed to hesitate reading the last wish out loud but he did it anyway.

"Wow!" Toru was speechless. "And you say this guy was selfish, Michinaga?"

"All Kamen Riders are selfish!"

"Are you so sure?" Neon challenged as she wiped the tears from her eyes. "Would a selfish person really want something so selfless?"

"Selflessness is just another way of trying to make yourself feel good."

"He's dead!" Sara exclaimed, garnering some attention. "Why can't you understand that, my brother is dead all because of this Grand Prix?"

"Don't give me that attitude, you entered yourself so you can grant yourself your own wish, you're as much of a culprit as I am!" Michinaga growled.

"Come on, let's be civil here!" Win tried to break up the fight.

"Michinaga," Toru sighed. "This is why we always get in trouble."

"Stay out of this Toru," Michinaga growled.

"Fine, have it your way then." Toru raised his arms in surrender.

"That's right none of you know what actually happened, why I was in that stupid game in the first place." Sara gave a mirthless laugh.

"Wasn't it to protect Keiwa, Sara-san?"

"Look how that turned out." Sara scoffed.

Neon gulped.

Sara seemed to notice her mistake and took calming breaths before speaking once more.

"Sorry, I lost my cool for a moment."

"Why were you in the Desire Royale?" Win asked the question.

"You join the Desire Royale and I revive Sakurai Keiwa for you." Sara quoted.

"Revive…" Neon looked at Michinaga. "You killed him."

"I did, so what." Michinaga scoffed.

"I see now." Toru nodded.

"Who?" Ace growled.

"Kekera." Michinaga identified the person responsible for Sara's inclusion.

Everyone looked at each other.

"I see now why Archimedel targeted Hakubi." Ace voiced out.

"Ta-targeted?" Neon exclaimed.

"Kekera was Tycoon's supporter, and what Kekera wanted the most, according to Ziin, was to have a laugh and watch as the Riders he supports turn into his ideal heroes."

"The ideal Kamen Rider." Win finished the thought.

"In the end, he achieved that when Tycoon cut that frog in half." Michinaga smirked as he remembered how the giant frog got sliced in half.

"Kekera led Tycoon to believe you had actually died, Hakubi."

Sara slumped back to her chair upon the realization of her role in the Desire Royale, it wasn't to keep her end of the bargain.

"It was to use you to further develop Tycoon's character."

"Develo-that's cruel!" Neon exclaimed.

"I'm sorry, I need some time to process this." Sara abruptly left the group.

"I'm going as well." Neon hurried to catch up with Sara and left the boys to discuss themselves.

"You're a hypocrite, Tycoon." Ace's hands balled into fists. "I thought no one was going to be sacrificed for happiness."

"What you did with Sakurai earlier, Michinaga was uncalled for." Toru scolded his friend. "The woman just found out how her brother actually died and you tried to pin the blame on her."

"Well, I don't like how he pinned the blame on me."

"But you did actually kill Tycoon, Buffa." Ace pointed out.

"But that's because I had to, not because I want to." Michinaga scoffed.

"If you were really just following the rules, then you wouldn't have gloated your victory over him as you dangled him on top of the hole." Win pointed out.

"I was teaching him a lesson." Michinaga growled.

"Okay, enough, what's done is done, we are living in Sakurai's world now."

"We are living in his world without him." Ace sighed.

"I think we all need to process what we just learned, let's gather someplace else tomorrow.
