Sara was in a dilemma.

On one hand, she could just reveal the truths she knew by letting them touch her ID core.

The thing was, she knew the memories she had with her parents, after the day they supposedly died, were also real. The pain of losing Keiwa after an argument the two of them had on the day he'd been kidnapped was also real.

She knew that it actually happened.

Just goes to show the power the goddess of creation possessed.

"Sara-san"

"Neon-chan."

"I'm sorry you had to go through that."

"No, it's… it's just hard losing him twice," Sara admitted. "To think that I became a Kamen Rider to protect him."

"What did you put in your desire card, when Kekera-san offered you?"

"For a world that gives Keiwa happiness."

"You really care about each other, huh?"

"We were always there for each other, even when we were living with mom's brother, we really only had each other, not that we weren't thankful that they took us in, but there was this divide and resentment between them and us."

"I see…"

"But now…"

"Why don't I give you a ride? I'm sure Ben and John wouldn't mind passing by your place."

"Is it right for the heiress to be giving rides to her father's employee?" Sara raised an eyebrow.

"Operative word being heiress, besides, we owe you, the Kurama family owes you a lot."

"What happened back then?" Sara whimpered. "You don't have to answer me… but…"

"Keiwa was really comforting, he comforted me when we were alone with the kidnapper. He took the blows that were supposed to be for me… and when…"

"It's okay Neon-chan, you don't have to continue."

"But I want to say it." Neon shook her head. "I feel like if I don't say it, the memory of me being kidnapped all alone would replace the sacrifice Keiwa made for me."

"I… I see."

"And when the kidnapper panicked… he pointed the gun at me, but Keiwa… he… pushed me aside and took the bullet."

As soon as Neon noticed that tears were falling from her eyes, she immediately tilted her hat to prevent anyone from seeing her in such a state.

"His… Keiwa's last words to me were… 'It's a relief, you weren't hurt, Neon-chan.' And that was when the police stormed the area."

Sara bit her lip as she learned what her brother's final words were in this world. She never thought she'd have to grieve for his brother again, but here she was now.

"W-what's your next move, Sara-san?" Neon couldn't help but ask. "As I understand, your parents were revived."

"I'm debating whether to let them stay as they are now or…" Sara trailed off.

Sara couldn't even say the alternative, what could she even say to her parents? 'Hey, mom, dad, guess what you both died in something and I had to raise Keiwa, and guess what he died too!'

"I don't think you can keep it a secret from them as we are now," Neon sighed. With Keiwa's wish, mother and father are so attentive to Akari-chan's needs, as the heiress, I needed to learn how the world works, so father left me to do my own things."

"But didn't Kurama-sama…"

"Sure, they were worried about me when I was kidnapped, but they were still able to buy Akari-chan some cake while they waited for news for me," Neon admitted. "I understood why they did that, they were distracting Akari-chan but I was still hurt when I found that out."

"I... I'm so sorry, Neon-chan."

"No, this isn't about me, this is about you."

"Can you come with me? When I give them a choice?"

"Sure, we're allies after all." Neon offered the elder woman a warm but sad smile.

"Sara? Where have you been?"

"Tou-san… Kaa-san… we need to talk."

Sara's father frowned.

Sara couldn't blame her father for feeling confused; it was just one thing after another.

If Ace hadn't…

No, Sara should be thankful to Ace, for letting her remember her brother, for letting her know how much of a hero her brother was.

"Sara? What's going on?" Sara's mother questioned as she joined her husband in the living room.

"I…"

"It's okay, you can do it, Sara-san." Neon rubbed the younger Sakurai's back as she encouraged her.

"Neon-chan… you know something, don't you?" Shigeru asked the heiress.

"Yes, but I think you should hear it from Sara-san." Neon nodded.

"It's about Keiwa, isn't it?" Yukino stated. "The purple shuriken that Ace-sama returned to us."

Sara merely nodded, still trying to find the words how to tell her parents the truth.

Shigeru, let's have this conversation inside, you too Neon-chan."

"Sorry for intruding." Neon nodded.

Sara's parents escorted their daughter to the dining area and helped her sit up straight. Neon sat beside her fan while the parents themselves sat in front of their daughter.

"I don't know how to say this…" Sara began. 'But there's a time when you… you…"

Sara couldn't continue, she couldn't even say the fact that her parents had died once and they were back because their son wished them to be back at his expense.

"What Sara-san means to say is that there is something that you have forgotten, would you like to know what that is, Sakurai-san?"

The older Sakurais looked at each other. They knew that the information was horribly affecting their daughter. They knew her daughter was second-guessing telling them or couldn't say what the information was.

With an agreement reached, both Sakurais nodded.

"If this is something affecting Sara, then we need to know what is it to help her deal with this."

"Sara-san, you can start this by letting them touch your ID core." Neon coached.

Sara nodded as she opened her fist and revealed the toy that she had received from Ace earlier. She placed the circular object in the middle of the table, waiting for her parents to touch it.

The Sakurai parents nodded in unison as they touched the ID core without hesitation, remembering how they died the first time.

"I can see why this information would deeply upset my daughter," Shigeru hummed. "This means, Keiwa didn't die when he just started middle school, did he?"

"No, he didn't."

"Were you still kidnapped, Neon-chan?"

"Yes, I was there all alone." Neon answered the query succinctly.

"Then, how?" Yukino was biting her lip, in an attempt to appear strong in front of her distraught daughter.

"There was this tournament, and Keiwa was a participant." Sara started talking. "His wish was the revive everyone who was killed in these tournaments."

"What does a wish have to do with anything?"

"The grand prize of this tournament was to get the winner's wish granted." Neon answered.

"So Keiwa won?" Yukino questioned.

"No…" Shigure's eyes widened as he realized why his son was absent. "He couldn't have."

"Why, Shigure? You're scaring me, what happened to our son?"

"The law of equivalent exchange." Sara's father stated as tears welled up in his eyes. "His life in exchange for ours, Yukino, our son exchanged his life for ours."

"No…"

"No, no, no." Sara immediately stopped her parents' train of thought before any more misunderstandings can occur. "I will only tell this once and please do not interrupt me.'

"It's important that you know the whole story." Neon nodded.

And so Sara got to narrating what happened and how she discovered her brother's participation in the tournament she went on to how she was used as a hostage once more and how her brother saved her both times. She also included how she joined the tournament in an effort to protect her brother but the machinations of her's and her brother's supporter made that impossible.

She even included how cruel and exploitative the DGP was.

"And he ended up dead, again." Sara finished her narration before she fully sobbed on the table. "What good of an older sister am I if I can't even protect my brother from that stupid game."

Yukino immediately went towards her daughter and attempted to soothe her but the younger Sakurai just grabbed her mother's body and sobbed on her mother's clothes.

"You raised Keiwa, remarkably, Sara," Shigeru offered a sad smile to his daughter. "You were there for him and he was there for you."

"You protected him and he protected you."

"But he still ended up dead." Sara sobbed. "I feel like I failed him like I failed you."

"You did not fail us, Sara." Yukino stroked her daughter's hair. "You did remarkably well, the both of you did."

"Yukino, please bring Sara to her room, I think she needs to rest from all the revelations today."

Yukino nodded and left her husband and Neon alone in the dining room.

"Neon-chan, I know I'm not supposed to ask this, but, this Kekera person…"

"Keiwa took care of him," Neon sighed. "He made Keiwa think that Sara-san died, the only one he has killed."

"Sara raised a fine young man," Shigeru nodded. "I just wish there had to be another way to grant his wishes without him killing himself."

"In the middle of the tournament, things that were unpleasant were revealed about the tournament, and Keiwa was at odds with everyone at one point." Neon sighed. "He had believed that no one needed to be sacrificed for people to get happiness but…"

"Continue, Neon-chan." Yukino urged as she sat on her seat.

"He can be surprisingly stubborn when he believes about something."

"He can be if he really genuinely believes something worth doing." Shigeru nodded.

"He thinks that the goddess herself was taking the sacrifices and rewriting the world according to the winner's wishes but that wasn't the case and he was being stubborn about it."

"if things are personal to him, he can be really stubborn." Yukino nodded.

"But the goddess was a mere tool and the one harvesting the sacrifices was the DGP itself." Neon shook her head. "Eventually, Keiwa saw it for himself and rejoined our side, and then I was eliminated."

"I see."

"I think Keiwa realized that for his wishes to come true sacrifices needed to be made." Yukino sighed. "He can be perceptive for his own good."

"The law of exchange." Shigeru nodded.

"He used himself as a sacrifice to grant him his wishes, even if he couldn't live in the world where his wishes were granted."

Neon nodded.

"I should go," Neon excused herself. "Ben and John are downstairs waiting for me."

"Thank you for telling us this, Neon-chan."

"Sara-san was debating whether to tell you or not, but I just said that you would be able to see right through her if she was hiding something." She smiled.

"You are right."

"There is one thing I realized, had you been alive, Keiwa would have likely been disqualified from the tournament."

"He would have," Yukino nodded. "But his character would change drastically that we won't even know how to fix it."

"That is true." Neon nodded. "I should get going, thank you for your hospitality."

"Thank you for what you have done today, Neon-chan.
