A few days has passed, it was Sunday which meant Liv had to leave to go back to college so she can start he new semester tomorrow.
She packed what she brought in her small duffle bag, and sighed, she looked around her room and said 'goodbye.', before grabbing her bag and phone and walking out her room while switching the lights off.
Liv began to walk downstairs, Eli put his jacket on so he can driver her to the airport. She looked around and walked to her dad, "Where's Fitz?", she asked sadly.
Fitz was usually there to say goodbye before she headed back to Harvard, "I'm sorry sweetie, he said he was busy with work.", she just nodded and put her shoes and jacket on, trying not to cry.
Eli grabbed her bag before they exited out the house, Liv got in the passengers seat and wiped her tear that rolled down as Eli put her bag in the back seat.
He got in the drivers seat and started driving to the airport, Liv stared at her phone, wondering if she should text him but she didn't, he didn't even want to talk her.
They soon got to the airport and parked the car before they both got out, Eli grabbed her bag again, they hugged each other tightly just like always.
Eli began to cry, holding Olivia, kissing her head, "Dad, don't cry, you're going to make me cry.", they chuckled and both sniffled before pulling apart.
He grabbed her face and wiped her tears, "Be safe and have a good flight.", she nodded and smiled at her father, "I will. I'll see you for Christmas.", she kissed her father's cheek before entering the airport with her phone and bag.
She came right on time as her plane started boarding, she checked her bag in and was able to bring it with her on the plane which she loved.
As she was in line for security check, she heard someone call her name, making her turn around, "Olivia! Olivia, wait!".
It was him.
He came.
He was jogging to her so he wouldn't miss her, she started crying, she put her bag down and ran to him, jumping on him and hugging him tightly while sobbing in his neck.
He held onto her tightly and kissed her head, "I'm so sorry, Livvie. I love you so much.", she looked at him with tears on her face as she kissed him passionately, they smiles against each other's lips.
Everyone disappeared.
It was just them in their world.
She pulled away and pecked his lips a few times, sniffling, "I love you too.", she whispered and hugged him against as she still held tightly onto her.
As much as they didn't want this to end, it has to, her plane was almost done boarding and she couldn't stay here, she loved school.
He let her down carefully and kissed her one more time, they looked at each other with tears in their eyes, "Call me when you get home?", he asked sadly, she nodded, "Of course.".
They said their goodbyes and Liv walked away as Fitz stood there, making sure she got on the plane safely.
Liv boarded the plane after security check, she put her bag in the compartment above the seats and took her seat, wiping the rest of her tears.
She leaned her head back and waited for the plane to take off before falling asleep.
The flight lasted only an hour and thirty minutes since Massachusetts wasn't too far from DC. Liv woke up as the plane landed, they had to stay in their seats for a little before they were able to get off the plane.
Liv grabbed her bag and stepped off the plane, going through security check again before leaving the airport, texting her dad and Fitz that her plane landed and she was back "home.".
She took the first taxi she saw and told them the address of her apartment near her school, on the car ride she texted Fitz back and forth, already missing him and his touch.
The taxi parked in front of her apartment building, she gave them cash plus a tip and stepped out the car with her bag, she entered the building and took the elevator to the fourth floor while still texting Fitz.
She walked out the elevator and walked to her apartment door, unlocking it and walking inside, she sighed and locked the door behind her, "Home, sweet home.", she mumbled to herself.
She entered her bedroom and placed her bag on the floor next to her bag, she set up her phone, letting it stand against something as she pressed the facetime button, after a few rings, his handsome face on her screen and her beautiful face was on his.
They smiled widely, "Hi.", "Hi.", Liv blushed softly and looked down, "Happy to be back home?", he asked while sitting on his bed with no shirt and some sweats on.
She sighed and nodded slightly, "A little but I miss DC.", "Just Dc?", he raised his eyebrow which made her laugh, "Nooo. I also miss the people.".
He gasped softly, "Wait.. is there a special person I don't know about?", she smirked, "Hmm maybe.", he smiles, "Hmm, interesting.".
They remained on facetime while Liv unpacked and cooked herself dinner, eating together while talking about everything and nothing.
They never felt this close like this besides on Thanksgiving but besides that, they never really talked to each other that much even though they've known each other for a while and spent holidays together.
They call lasted a few hours before hanging up since Liv has school and Fitz has work tomorrow.
Liv took a warm, relaxing shower before putting on some shorts and a sports bra and laying in bed, she put her phone on the charger and set her alarm before falling asleep with him on her mind.
