coffee talk
Brandy gives Stripe his coffee and proceeds to sit down.
"So... Why exactly did you come here?" Brandy asked.
"Well it's about the funeral, i can pay for it and plan it, if that is okay with you."
"Yeah, it's more then okay, i don't wanna think and worry about another thing, i already have enough on my plate, plus learning how to take care of kids who have experienced loss isn't easy"
"I understand. Say, why did you go and spend so many years alone, if you don't mind me asking?"
Brandy let out a sigh as she puts both of her arms on her neck.
"They didn't tell you?"
"No, Bandit just said it was personal reasons and that you wouldn't be comfortable letting other people know."
"Oh. Well... I... I can't, sorry." Brandy leaned down on her hand.
"It's okay, i understand if you don't wanna say why, what matters is that you are here now."
"You know when you said 'they will help me', well let's just say they will help me, not only with this, but with something else."
After chatting for a few minutes, Bluey comes to the kitchen. Bluey's walk isn't how it used to be, now it's slow, her head's facing the floor and her eyes look very tired.
"Hey Bluey, how are you doing?" Asked Stripe.
Bluey didn't respond, she just went to the fridge and grabbed an apple.
Stripe gave Brandy a worried look.
"Bluey, do you want me to make you something to eat?" Asked Brandy.
Bluey stood still for a moment before sitting on a stool and hugging her aunt.
Brandy proceeded to put her arm around Bluey, then Bluey dozed off.
"I'll be here for you, i will always be here." Said Brandy with a soothing voice.
Bluey smiled, Brandy was surprised that she made her niece smile, it made her feel proud, like she could do something, something right, it put a big smile on her face.
Stripe was sitting there, being relieved that Bluey is smilling and proud that Brandy could make it happen, he then decided to check on Bingo. He quietly stood up and walk to her room.
Bingo was sitting on her bed, doing nothing, just like Brandy said.
Stripe walked up to Bingo and said.
"Hey, Bingo, i know it's hard, very hard, but you have to try, no matter how hard it seems, you have to try."
Bingo was confused by what Stripe said.
"Try?" Bingo spoke after what felt like years.
"Yes, you have to try, no matter how hard it seems, you need to try and live, talk, take care of yourself and most importantly, move on. It will be very hard, but you have to try."
"Try for who?" Bingo said in a monotone voice.
"For yourself, for your other loved ones, friends and your parents, they don't wanna see you like this, they want you to be happy and have fun, it will be hard to do, but you just gotta try." Stripe said in an inspiring voice.
"Why does auntie Brandy take care of us?"
"To make it up to her sister for not visiting for so long and to try to make you feel loved and happy."
Bingo thought for a few seconds then proceeded to hug her uncle.
Stripe embraced her hug.
After a few minutes, Bingo asked
"Where is Bluey and auntie Brandy?"
"They are in the kitchen."
"I wanna go to them."
"Okay, then let's go."
They proceeded to go to the kitchen.
When Brandy saw Bingo, she was shocked for a few seconds, but then she smiled at her, being proud for her trying.
Bingo came over to Brandy and hugged her, they three embraced one another and felt a tiny bit of happiness.
"Thank you for taking care of us." Bingo said in a grateful voice.
"You are welcome, i will always be here for you two, i will always love you both." Brandy said in a soft comforting voice.
Stripe thought to himself "it seems that they are doing much better then i first arrived" He then proceeds to get a text message on his phone, he looks at it and then says,
"Hey girls, i have to go now." He hugged them three and proceeded to leave.
Bingo said in a quiet voice. "Thank you."
"You are welcome Bingo" He thought to himself as he left.
