Evening

The mood has been definetly more better then other days, but it wont last forever. The deaths will always be in their minds forever, no matter how far they move on, it will catch up. Brandy knows this first hand, but she will try her hardest for Bluey and Bingo too not choose the path she chose, she will try, she is always trying, but what happened today lifted a lot of the stress she had, too see both of the kids smile felt so surreal to her, but she very much appreciated it.

"Okay, kiddos, what do you want to have for dinner?"

"Im not feeling hungry." Bingo said.

"Not even a little?"

"Nope."

"Okay, well how about you Bluey?"

Bluey doesn't respond, she is just staring at the TV with no expression on her face

"Bluey?" Brandy said in a concerned voice.

"Huh? Oh uh... What was the question?"

"What do you wanna have for dinner?"

"Oh whatever Bingo is having is fine with me." Bluey said.

Brandy let out a sigh.

"Say, what food do you like a lot?" Brandy asked.

"Meatballs."

"Then we are having meatballs, is that okay Bluey?"

"Yeah, that is fine with me."

Brandy goes to the kitchen she grabs the meat and proceeds to start making the meatballs.

"Where is the salt?" Brandy said queitly under her breath.

She proceeds to search everywhere for the salt until she opens one cabinet.

splat

A bag of flour proceeds to fall out of the cabinet, hitting brandy on the nose before it falls down on the ground.

"Are you kidding?!" Brandy yelled out of anger and annoyance from already having to look for the salt.

Bingo walks into the and asks with a hald worried face. "What happened auntie Brandy?"

"A bag of flour fell out of the cabinet and it hit me on my nose." Brandy responded in an irritated voice.

"Can i help you to clean it up?" Asked Bingo.

"Sure, let me just clean my face first."

Brandy goes to the bathroom and washes her face in the sink, she also notices that she has a bleeding nose. The blood was running out of her left nostril, slowly flowing down to her upper lip.

"Really? It hit me that hard to cause my nose to bleed? Ah whatever..."

Brandy grabs some toilet paper and puts it on her nose, she then goes back to the kitchen.

"Is your nose okay auntie?" Bingo asked.

"Yeah, it's just bleeding a bit."

"Because the bag of flour fell on your nose?"

"Yes, that's correct Bingo. Anyways you said you want to help me clean this mess up?"

"Yes, can i?"

"Well i already said yes, so let's get to it."

Brandy picks up the bag and says.

"Wipe off the flour Bingo."

Bingo wipes it of and Brandy puts it back in the cabinet, further inside it.

"Okay, now we need a broom and a dustpan, can you go and grab it for me Bingo?" Brandy asked with a smile.

"Yes, i can."

"She is so adorable and she is doing a lot better then in the morning, god, chilli got so lucky with the two of them." She thought to herself.

Bingo is back with the broom and dustpan, she gives it to Brandy."

"You hold the dustpan, while i sweep, okay?"

"Okay." Bingo said in a somewhat cheerful voice.

Both of them clean up the mess and give eachother a nod, then Bingo says.

"Actually..."

"Yeah?" Brandy said.

"I am a bit hungry, can i have some meatballs too?" Asked Bingo.

"Of course you can." Brandy then proceeded to hug Bingo

They two embraced eachother

"Okay, i'll go and make them then. Oh and do you know where the salt is?" Asked Brandy

"It's in there." Responded Bingo while pointing where it is.

"Thank you, you're a life saver."

Awkward silence ensues, then Brandy realised what Bingo was thinking.

"Im sorry Bingo i- uh-" Brandy couldn't think as too what too say.

"It's okay, i know what you meant, but it just reminded me..." Bingos voice sounds like it's on the verge of tears.

Brandy hugs Bingo tightly and says. "Don't worry, don't worry, you don't gotta say it, i know what you mean."

Bingo returns the hug then walks back to the living room.

Brandy thought to herself. "I really need to think on what im gonna say, last thing i want to do is too remind them of it."

She then went back to making the meatballs.

After making them she quickly went and set the dining table.

"Uhhh... Im forgetting something, Oh right, What do you two wanna drink?" Brandy asked.

"Water please." Bluey said

"Ok. And what about you Bingo?"

"Orange juice."

Brandy went to the fridge and checked if there is any orange juice.

"Hmmm... There it is! Not a lot left though."

Something then caught Brandy's eye.

"How long has the milk been there?" Brandy wondered to herself.

She couldn't find the experation date, so she decided to smell it. She proceeded to open it and sniff it.

"Oh jesus! That's f-." Brandy stopped herself from cursing.

"That is disgusting." Brandy said while gagging at the vommit inducing smell of spoiled milk.

Brandy poured in the orange juice and water and brought it to the kids.

"Here you go Bluey and here is your orange juice Bingo."

"It's so little, why?" Bingo asked with a saddened voice.

"Sorry Bingo, it's all that was left."

"Oh, is there any milk?"

"The milk is expired..."

"Seems like the fridge is not doing any better then us..." Bluey said.

"Whoa, where is that coming from?" Brandy said slighty annoyed.

"It's the truth! All of us are not feeling good."

"Bluey, listen, while technically it is the truth, you still shouldn't say it." Said Brandy in a disciplined voice."

"Why not? it is the truth."

"Saying that can make people feel sad, even more sad then they currently are. And thinking like that can also make you feel more sad. Do you understand me? The same goes for you too Bingo, don't say something that technically is the truth, because it can hurt other peoples feelings" Brandy said while staring at both of them.

"Why did you mention me? Did i make you feel sad?" Bingo asked.

"No, i just want you too also remember this lesson, Okay?"

"Okay, i will remember it."

"Good. And you Bluey?"

"I will, but how do you know that? Did you also make someone sad?"

Brandy thought for a second.

"Well, no. Somebody made me feel sad."

"Oh, was it me?" Bluey asked.

"Of course not! You both make me feel like the happiest aunt ever! You would never make me sad."

"Really?!" Said Bluey and Bingo.

"Yes." Said Brandy in a quiet voice.

Both of them smiled, which in turn made Brandy smile even more then she already was.

"Enough talking let's enjoy the food, tell me if you like it."

"Okay." They both said. Then it seemed Bluey was looking for something.

"Are you looking for something, Bluey?" Brandy asked.

"Yeah, where is our ketchup?"

"It's right there." Brandy points with her fork.

"No that is your ketchup, im looking for ours."

"What do you mean by 'ours' ?" Brandy asked confused.

"The healthy ketchup, it has a blue tip."

"Oh, sorry there isn't any, is this ketchup okay?"

"Really? We can have your ketchup?"

"Yeah, it wont do you any harm, it is just ketchup afterall."

"Thank you auntie Brandy."

"You are welcome Bluey. Oh and tommorow we will need to go to the shop and buy some groceries." Said Brandy.

After dinner and bath.

"Time to go to bed kiddos."

"Do you want help cleaning up auntie Brandy?" Said Bingo in a tired voice.

"No, it's okay, i can clean it myself, you though sound very tired, you need to sleep." Said Brandy.

"Ah... Okay."

Brandy tucked both of her niece's in bed and gave them a kiss.

She then went and cleaned up the table.

Walking back she saw Bluey sitting on her bed, Brandy then walked in the room.

"Auntie Brandy?" Said Bluey.

"Yeah?"

Bluey looked around the room for a second, unsure if she should ask her.

"Can i sleep with you tonight?"

"Uhhh... Sure, i don't mind."

"Can i sleep with you too?" Asked Bingo in a half-awake voice.

"The more the merrier!"

Brandy and the kids both fell asleep with eachother. They were warm and cozy, but most importantly they all had eachother, eachother to rely on, eachother to take care of one-another. They felt happines, happines without any other thoughts bringing it down.
