The journey through the wormhole was really rough and bumpy, the team groans from the turbulence of the wormhole and exit to a different part of the universe.
"Woah. . . That was. . ." Said Lana breathless then was cut off by Hunk vomiting.
"So sorry." Said Hunk apologized and vomits again.
"I'm just surprised it took this long." Said Pidge adjusting his glasses.
"I don't recognize any of these constellations." Said Shiro looking at the star constellations. "We must be a long, long way from Earth."
"The Lion seems to want to go to this planet." Said Lana while the Blue Lion goes to the planet. "I think. . . I think it's going home."
As the Blue Lion blasts towards Arus, entering its atmosphere, the team huddles closer together from the intense turbulence.
"Guys, personal space!" Said Lana complaining and looks at Hunk. "Hunk, Honey-Bee I love you, but your breath is killing me."
"Um, is it just me or is anyone else having second thoughts about flying through a mysterious Wormhole?" Asked Hunk looking worried. "Why are we listening to a robotic lion anyway?"
"It got us away from that alien warship, didn't it?" Said Lana looking at the others.
"I don't know if you noticed, but we're in an alien warship." Said Keith looking at Lana.
"Oh, are you scared?" Asked Lana giving Keith a teasing smirk.
"With you at the helm? Terrified." Said Keith looking at Lana.
"All right, knock it off! No one's happy to be in this situation, but we're here now." Said Shiro looking at the others. "If we want to get through this, we've got to do it together."
"So, what do we do?" Asked Pidge looking at Shiro.
"First, we find out where we're headed." Said Shiro being the level-headed leader that he was and looks at Lana. "Lana?"
"I don't know. . . I don't know, it's stop talking to me now. . ." Said Lana and her eyes widen. "Wait, I think it's saying something!"
"What's it saying?!" Asked Hunk bumping Lana.
Lance let go of the handles, and the Blue Lion starts twirling a bit causing everyone to go a bit bumpy, and Lance push Hunk gently and grab the handles to keep the lion steady, while everyone tried to hold onto something.
"Hunk, be careful, I'm driving the Blue Lion!" Said Lana looking at her best friend and starts feeling something.
"Seriously, it's like what I said before, I'm kinda terrified of. . ." Said Keith till he was about to continue.
"KEITH, GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME." Shouted Lana who's blushing.
Keith was confused at first, till he saw that his hand is directly where Lana's breasts are, and he pull away quickly while he was blushing in embarrassment.
"OH GOD, SORRY!" Shouted Keith in embarrassment.
"Seriously Keith, did you have to touch my breasts again, even after you. . ." Said Lana till she saw something and got amazed. "Woah, there's a castle up ahead."
Then everyone looked up and saw a massive white castle, sitting on top of a mountain, with an old bridge leading to it. Everyone's amazed as the Blue Lion approaches the castle and the latent castle reactivates, and the Blue Lion lands in the courtyard.
"Wow." Said Keith looking amazed at the sight of the castle.
"Keep your guard up." Said Shiro to his team with a serious look.
"Something wrong?" Asked Pidge looking at Shiro.
"My crew was captured by aliens once, I'm not going to let it happen again." Said Shiro as he doesn't want to make the same mistake.
The rest of the team exited out of the lion, and as they went out to the courtyard, they were so amazed at the sheer size of the castle. After the team exits the Blue Lion, it starts to stand up, startling everyone.
"Oh no! Oh no! I knew it was going to eat us!" Shouted Hunk cowering in fear. "NO!"
Then the Blue Lion let out a loud roar, causing the opening of the castles doors. Hunk cowers behind Shiro until the doors finish opening.
"Oh, the door is open." Said Hunk turning to the Lion with a sheepishly smile. "Guess I was wrong about you."
"Wow, so what do we do now, should we go in?" Asked Lana looking confused.
"I don't know, I'm not even sure it's safe." Said Shiro looking concerned to keep his crew safe.
Suddenly, the Blue Lion began to glow in a bright blue light, causing the crew to look at it in shock, then the light flows from the metal body to the ground and starts going between the door and the team. Then the blue light began to materialize as it began to shine so bright, causing the others to close their eyes, and as the light fades away, the team open their eyes, and they all gasped in shock at what's in front of them.
Standing in front of them is a lioness. The lioness seem to be like the size of a horse, it has beautiful blue fur with white paws, black tipped ears and tail, a white underbelly, and has bright yellow sclerae with bright sapphire eyes.
"Woah. . ." Said Lana in shock and amazement.
"An actual blue lion!" Said Pidge in amazement.
"I can't believe it with my own eyes!" Said Shiro in shock.
Then the Blue Lion starts walking towards to Lana, causing the Cuban girl to get a bit scared, till the lion was standing in front of her and sit like a dog greeting it's owner. Lana starts feeling a warm and strong connection towards the lioness, as she slowly reach out her hand and gently touch the lion's head.
Then a bright blue glow starts to shine bright all over the lion as the light began to shine all over Lana as well, causing everyone to get shock, then the bright light began to fade away as the lion and Lana stop glowing, Lana takes her hand back from touching the lions head as she look shock as well.
"Woah, Lana, what was that?" Asked Hunk getting shock at what he saw.
"I don't know, all I did was touch the lions head, and this may sound crazy, but I felt some sort of connection with it, just like when we were trying to get away from the alien warship." Said Lana looking at the others.
Then the lion goes to closer to Lana and rubbed it's head on her chest, showing that it won't hurt him or the others, Lana look down at the lion and smiles at her as she pets it's head gently and the lions purrs at Lana touch.
"Hey, I think she really likes me." Said Lana smiling at the lion.
'I'm happy that you have found me, my Blue Paladin.' Said the Blue Lion and Lana gasp at the lion.
"Oh god. . . Uh guys, did you just hear this lion talk?" Asked Lana looking at the others.
"Uh no, we just hear the lion growl a bit." Said Keith looking at Lana with a confused look.
"I'm serious, she's actually talking to me, how can I be able to understand her?" Asked Lana looking a bit confused.
"I think I know why, when you touch the lion and that bright glow happen, it must've give you telepathy, meaning only you can understand her." Said Pidge explaining to Lana.
'My name is Blue, I'm the Blue Lion of Voltron, and this castle here is called the Castle of Lions, it's my home, and where me and the other lions were created by an Altean named King Alfor.' Replied Blue looking at Lana.
"So, what is the lion saying?" Asked Keith looking at lion.
"Okay, she says that her name is Blue, she is the Blue Lion of Voltron." Said Lana explaining what Blue says. "This castle here is called the Castle of Lions, its her home, and she and the other lions were created by an Altean named King Alfor."
"Who's King Alfor?" Asked Hunk as he got confused.
'King Alfor is the king of the Altean, a proud alien race that are known to be the greatest engineer, scientists, and alchemists in a planet named Altea.' Replied Blue looking at Lana.
"Blue says that King Alfor is the king of the Altean's, a proud alien race that are known to be the greatest engineer, scientists, and alchemists in a planet named Altea." Said Lana explaining further.
"Really, what happen to them?" Asked Shiro looking concerned and Blue growl softly.
'If you wish to know more, I'll lead you all in the castle.' Replied Blue looking at Lana.
"Blue says that if we want to learn more, she'll lead us in the castle so we can understand." Said Lana scratching Blue's ears.
Blue purrs softly at how Lana scratch her ears, then the lion got up slowly and starts walking towards the entrance of the castle, then the group start to follow her inside. The eerie silence bemuses the team and Lion as they enter the vestibule.
"Hello?" Said Hunk making his voice echos in the emptiness, everyone stares at him, startled, and he shrugs.
"For the size of the Lion, I expected these steps to be bigger." Said Pidge looking around the room and a beam of light appears as the vestibule activates and everyone gasps.
(Hold for identity scan.)
"What?" Ask Pidge in confusion while the blue light scans them.
"Why are we here?" Asked Shiro speaking to the computer. "What do you want with us?"
(Scan complete. Welcome, Blue Paladin.)
"Whoa!" Said Lana and Pidge simultaneity and then the crystal torches light up a path.
"I guess we're going that way." Said Pidge seeing the path lighting up.
As the team goes forward and follow the Blue Lion, more crystal torches ignite to lead them deeper inside. Hunk voice echoes as he keeps calling out. Then the team and the Blue Lion arrive at the sleep chamber of the castle.
"Hello?" Called out Hunk but still no response.
"Where are we?" Asked Lana looking around the room.
"It's some kind of control room." Said Pidge looking at the controls.
As Pidge at the controls, the console Pidge is looking at suddenly activates and then two sleep pods began to rise from the floor, with two people in it.
"Are these guys. . . dead?" Asked Hunk looking scared and the Blue Lion look up in shock.
"I don't know, but Blue seems to know them." Said Lana looking at the Blue Lion.
One of the sleep pods opens, revealing a human like alien girl inside. The alien woman had brown skin, curly silver hair reaching her hips, have pointed ears, pink small sickle-shaped marks of pink situated on her cheekbones, and has a gold circlet that has a teal embellishment in the center.
She wears blue and white a dress accented with gold, light blue, and pink, has gold bracelets on each wrist and a blue cape lined with gold that snugly wraps around her shoulders and flows behind her back, reaching her calves in a split, winged design, the inside of her cape is pink and lined with white, and the collar of her cape is decorated with similar blue mark on each side like on her cheeks, and appears to wear white boots with gold ankles and soles underneath her dress. Then the alien girl's eyes began to open revealing her blue irises eyes with purple pupils.
"Father!" Called out the alien girl.
As she stepped forward, she starts to fall, and Lana immediately catches the alien girl in her arms. Her eyes locked onto Lana, and Lana blush at how incredibly beautiful she is. Lana felt two feelings within her, the first half was that she starts to get attracted by the girl, the other half feels a bit jealous of how prettier she is than herself. But she push her feelings aside as she smile at the alien girl.
"Hi." Said Lana smiling at the alien girl.
"Who are you?" Asked the alien girl looking around. "Where am I?"
"I'm Lana, and you're right here in my arms." Said Lana smiling and the alien girl suddenly start staring beside her head.
"Your. . . Ears." Said the alien girl looking at Lana ears.
"Yeah?" Asked Lana looking confused.
"They're hideous!" Said the alien narrowing her eyes. "What's wrong with them?"
"Nothing's wrong with them!" Said Lana looking offended and covering her ears. "They heard exactly what you said about them, and if want to talk about ears, why not yours since they're pointy!"
Then before Lana was about to say anything else, the young women grabs Lana by the ears and puts her in a restraining hold.
"Who are you?" Said the alien girl demanding an answer. "Where is King Alfor? What are you doing in my Castle?"
"A giant blue lion brought us here!" Said Lana grunting from the restraint she's in. "That's all we know!"
Then the Blue Lion got in between them, causing the alien girl to let go of Lana and she cough a bit after almost being strangled, and the alien girl's face change into a shock look as she saw the Blue Lion.
"I don't understand, how do you have the Blue Lion?" Asked the alien girl petting the lion gently. "What happened to its Paladin? What are you all doing here? Unless. . . How long has it been?"
"We're not sure, my name is Takashi Shirogane, this is Keith Kogane, Lana McClain, Hunk Garret, and Pidge Gunderson." Said Shiro introducing himself and his team. "We don't know what you're talking about. Why don't you tell us who you are? Maybe we can help."
"I am Princess Allura of Planet Altea." Said Allura introducing herself. "I've got to find out where we are and how long we've been asleep."
Then Princess Allura moved past them to get to the control centre. Then Allura accesses the console by placing her hands on it and a screen appears.
"Okay, that's how that works." Said Pidge in amazement looking at the controls.
Then the second sleep pod began to open, revealing a middle-aged man who seem to be the same species of aliens just like Allura.
The man has pale skin, short orange hair, and a distinct bushy orange mustache, has violet eyes with violet pupils, his ears are pointed, and has blue small sickle-shaped marks situated on his cheekbones.
He wears a distinguished dark blue jacket accented with white, gray, and yellow; the collar stands high on his neck, has white gloves accented with a lighter blue, a dark gray shirt, dark gray pants padded at his knees, and dark blue boots that reach his shins and are accented with yellow, gray, and black. The man's name is Coran. He gasp as he saw Lana.
"Enemy combatants!" Shouted Coran seeing Lana.
Then Coran jumps towards Lana but she side-steps him, so Coran loses his balance.
"Quiznak! You're lucky I have a case of the old "Sleep Chamber Knees," otherwise, I'd grab your head like this, wrap you up like so and. . . One, two, three. . ." Said Coran imitating his fighting moves and snaps his fingers. "Sleepy time!"
"Please don't, I don't want to be restraint again." Said Lana shuddering a bit.
"It can't be. . ." Said Allura in shock.
"What is it?" Asked Coran looking at Allura.
"We've been asleep for 10,000 years!" Said Allura recalling her last memory of being awake.
Flashback
Altea was burning as the Galra was attacking. It was horrible, all bright and smoky with the fire that is starting. Allura stood in the Bridge of the Castle of Lions with Coran and a man standing at the main center of the room.
The man has brown skin, white hair, a white full beard, his ears are pointed, blue eyes with pink pupils, has light blue small sickle-shaped marks situated on his cheekbones, he wears royal white armor over a black space suit, accented with gold and the bright Altean blue, along with a darker blue cape that reaches his ankles and is kept clasped over his right shoulder. The man's name is King Alfor, the former king of Altea. The Castleship was under attack by Zarkon's fleet. Then Zarkon appeared on screen.
"Zarkon!" Said King Alfor as he, Coran, and Allura saw Zarkon on the screen.
"Your fleet has been destroyed, Alfor, I will be there shortly to claim Voltron." Said Zarkon ending the transmission and a Galra warship blasted the Castleship with a powerful cannon.
"Father, we must form Voltron and fight before it's too late!" Said Allura looking at her father.
"It's already too late, we must send the Lions away, we can't risk them falling into Zarkon's hands." Said King Alfor going to his daughter.
"We can't give up hope!" Said Allura and King Alfor stops in front of Allura.
"I'm sorry, daughter, if all goes well, I will see you again soon." Said King Alfor using a mysterious light to put Allura asleep.
"Father. . .!" Said Allura as she starts to lose consciousness.
"I love you." Said King Alfor as Allura went to sleep.
End of Flashback
"Planet Altea and all of the planets in our solar system have been destroyed. Coran, Father is gone. Our entire civilization. . ." Said Allura feeling sad and starts getting angry. "Zarkon!"
"Zarkon?" Asked Shiro recalling Zarkon's face.
"He was the King of the Galra, a vile creature and enemy to all free people." Said Allura frowning in anger and Blue growl in anger hearing Zarkons name.
"I remember now. . .I was his prisoner." Said Shiro looking at Allura remembering his recalled memory.
"He's still alive. . . Impossible!" Said Allura frowning.
"I can't explain it, but it's true, he's searching for a superweapon called Voltron." Said Shiro looking at Allura.
"He's searching for it because he knows it's the only thing that can defeat him, and that's exactly why we must find it before he does." Said Allura looking at the team.
Far away, at the Galra empire's central command, a witch is in her lair surrounded by glowing purple crystals and scrying for information on a magic circle.
The witch has dark blue skin, white hair, bright yellow eyes, long red markings on her cheek reaching her chin, aside from her cloak, she wears a black and yellow dress with a high collar, long sleeves, and a frayed skirt; over the dress, she wears purple and yellow robes, split at the back in a winged design. The witch's name is Haggar.
Suddenly Haggar senses something, and goes to inform Zarkon. She arrived at the throne room where she saw a ancient man standing in front of window seeing an army of warships. And he's none other than Emperor Zarkon.
Zarkon has pointed ears with elongated lower lobes, a dark gray plated scalp, thick eyebrows, and two dark growths on either side of his jawline that is kept mostly hidden under a maroon and gray crown covering the front of his scalp, extending down the length of his flat nose much like his plated scalp, and frames the length of his jaws, leaving his face and chin exposed, has a scar extending from under his left eye down across his mouth, which has noticeably jagged lips reminiscent of fangs.
He seems to wear a maroon armor accented with dark gray over a black space suit, has four glowing violet lines curving downward towards the center, and upward towards his shoulders, has thrusters mounted on the back of his legs, a black cape clasped at his shoulders that is long enough to reach his calves, with blue lining the inside.
"The Blue Lion has returned, and now I feel a resurgence of Altean energy." Said Haggar informing Emperor Zarkon.
"Alfor's daughter lives. . . How?" Asked Zarkon looking at his most trusted adviser.
"I know not, but it is time to reclaim what is rightfully ours." Said Haggar with a evil smirk.
"Yes, I shall wipe that foul race from the universe forever and take back Voltron." Said Zarkon evilly. "Contact my commanders."
Meanwhile at another part of the galaxy, inside a Galra Cruiser, a Galra Commander was in his room as he was powering up his arm.
The Galra has mauve fur, yellow eyes although his right eye has been replaced with a red prosthetic, on his left arm was replaced with a large, powerful, and terrifying clawed gauntlet attached to his shoulder by a violet energy chain, he wears the bright red armor typical of many higher-up commanders in the Galra Empire accented with black and dark grays, the armor has two glowing yellow adornments with a design reminiscent of an aggressive face. The Galra's name is Sendak, Zarkon's best commanders. As Sendak have charged his arm, his Lieutenant, Haxus, came into his room.
"Emperor Zarkon requests an audience." Said Haxus informing Sendak.
Then Sendak goes to the warship's bridge and receives Zarkon's video transmission as his ruler's face filled the screen in front of him.
"Commander Sendak, the Princess of Altea is alive and hiding in your sector. We believe she alone holds the whereabouts of the remaining Lions." Said Zarkon informing Sendak. "Your battle fleet is the closest to her location. Retrieve her and the Lions. With them all, the Galra Empire will be unstoppable."
"I fight for the Empire, I conquer in the name of Galra. No foe has ever stood in my way and none ever will. Vrepit sa!" Said Sendax as he salute to Zarkon and the non-robotic members of his crew did the same. Zarkon ends the transmission, and Sendak looks to his officers. "Set a course to Planet Arus!"
Meanwhile back at the castle, Allura stands at the Sleep Chamber console with a plate of food goo floating nearby.
"Princess, you must eat. It's been 10,000 years!" Said Coran encouraging her to eat.
"I'm not hungry." Said Allura focusing on the console.
"Man, 10,000 years? That's like one thousand plus ten." Said Lana looking shock.
"That's times ten." Said Keith correcting Lana's mistake and Lana blush in embarrassment.
"Uh. . . Whatever dropout." Said Lana looking away from Keith still blushing.
"I haven't eaten since breakfast and I'm starving." Said Hunk feeling hungry.
"Yeah, but you've thrown up, like, five times." Said Pidge reminding him.
"Hmm. . . Good point." Said Hunk as he begins eating the food goo, continuing to eat although disgusted.
"I can't believe your civilization created such advanced technology 10,000 years ago, it must have been an incredible place." Said Shiro in astonishment.
"Yes, it was. . . But now it is gone and we're the last Alteans alive." Said Coran looking at Allura with a sad look.
Allura mourns at the loss of her home as Coran comforts her, and Blue walks towards to Allura and nuzzle her head on Allura's arm, causing Allura to smile sadly at the Blue Lion and gently pet her head, then she hears a squeak from her sleep pod and and is happy to find the four Altean Mice.
The first mouse was the largest that has yellow fur, with green fur on his ears, tail, and gut, a white patch over his right eye, and a sunny temperament.
The second mouse was the smallest that has pale blue fur, with medium blue fur on his ears and tail, his stomach is white, with a white oblong patch on his forehead, and he's perpetually timid and impish.
The third mouse was the leanest that has sultry blue-green fur, with pink ears, and white fur on his stomach, has the longest tail and a pointy jaw, and he has red eyes and a hostile, cynical personality.
And the final mouse has pale pink fur, with white fur on her stomach, she has almond-shaped red eyes, and has a childlike, frivolous temperament.
"Looks like we're not the last, after all." Said Allura picking the mice up.
Then Blue goes over to the mice and looks at them, some of the three mice got scared a bit, while the blue one look at her curiously. As Blue sniffs them, the blue mouse jumps onto her head and cuddle a bit.
"Aw Blue, that blue mouse really likes you." Said Lana smiling at Blue and the castles alarms blare and a Galra warship appears on-screen.
"A Galra battleship has set its tracker to us!" Said Coran as he see's the screen.
"How did they find us?!" Asked Allura and then Blue began to growl something.
"Blue says they must've tracked us here by her resurgence when we arrived." Said Lana looking at Blue, who look guilty, and gently pets her. "Calm down Blue, it's not your fault, though maybe we should've known if there was a tracking device on you."
"Maybe you should've been the one to notice since you got us stuck in a wormhole!" Said Keith frowning at Lana.
"I'LL STICK YOU IN A WORMHOLE!" Shouted Lana glaring at Keith and Blue growl at Keith. "OR BETTER YET, I CAN ASK BLUE TO BITE YOU!"
"Stow it, cadets! This is no time to argue now, it's time to work as a team." Said Shiro looking at his team and looks at Coran. "How long before they arrive?"
"At their speed. . . Oh, well, uh, carry the two. . . I'd say probably a couple of days?" Said Coran calculating with his hands.
"Good. Let them come! By the time they get here, you five will have reformed Voltron, and together, we will destroy Zarkon's empire!" Said Allura and Hunk burps after eating.
"Sorry, food goo." Said Hunk bashfully while Pidge and Lana rolled their eyes.
"Princess, there are five of these lions, how are we going to find the rest?" Asked Shiro looking at Allura.
Then Allura and Coran both look at each other and they lead them to another room.
Then after a few seconds, they arrived at the Castle Bridge with a Crystal above, and Allura stands in the center, as a bright blue light shines down at her.
"King Alfor connected the Lions to Allura's life force, she alone is the key to the Lions' whereabouts." Said Coran as he explains
Then Allura activates the computer, opening up a hologram map as it expands the entire room to show the entire universe.
"Whoa!" Said everyone in awe.
"These are. . . Coordinates, the Black Lion looks like it's in the same location as the Blue Lion." Said Pidge seeing both images of the Black and Blue Lion.
"Look at your primitive synapses firing away in their little brain cage!" Said Coran looking at Pidge.
"Very observant, that's because the Black Lion is in the Castle." Said Allura smiling at Pidge.
"To keep the Black Lion out of Zarkon's hands, King Alfor locked it in the Castle." Said Coran explaining." It can only be freed if the other four Lions are present."
"As you have found, the Lions choose their pilots. It is a mystical bond and cannot be forced. The Quintessence of the pilot is mirrored in his Lion. Together, they form something greater than science can explain." Said Allura as she shows the Black Lion hologram and sends it towards Shiro. "The Black Lion is the Guardian Spirit of Sky and decisive head of Voltron. It will take a pilot who is a born leader and in control at all times, someone whose men will follow without hesitation. That is why, Shiro, you will pilot the Black Lion."
"Yes Princess." Said Shiro as he look at Allura.
"The Green Lion is the Guardian Spirit of the Forest, who has has an inquisitive personality, she is curious knowledgeable, she requires someone intelligent, daring, and curious, someone observant of and fascinated by the world around them, and is never afraid of the unknown." Said Allura sending the Green Lion hologram towards Pidge. "Pidge, you will pilot the Green Lion."
"Cool!" Said Pidge smiling at the image of the Green Lion.
"The Blue Lion. . ." Said Allura about to speak about the Blue Lion.
"Wait! Let me guess." Said Lana interrupting Allura and smirk. "She'll only accept the best pilot with the most charming personality?"
Allura's expression is flat, but somehow the way she smiles makes Blue smile at her and laugh in joy, while it also reminds her of someone back in Altea, and she continues with a small smile.
"Sorta, the Blue Lion is the Guardian Spirit of Water, she is both a gentle and strong spirit, and known to be the friendliest of the lions, she requires someone loyal, free spirited, have a penchant for fun, and empty minded, but who also has an unrealized potential for greatness, bringing the team together, as they are both the Heart of Voltron." Said Allura looking at Lana with Blue. "That is why Blue here has chosen you to be her Paladin, Lana."
"Wow, that's actually really awesome, I think Blue and I will make a great team." Said Lana smiling at Blue and pets her head gently, and Blue purrs softly.
"The Yellow Lion is the Guardian Spirit of Land, he is caring and kind, and requires someone earnest and strong willed, someone who puts the needs of others above there own, and more importantly, someone who believes that true strength is achieved through love and unity." Said Allura sending the Yellow Lion hologram towards Hunk. "Hunk, you will pilot the Yellow Lion."
"Me?" Said Hunk pointing at himself.
"And finally, the Red Lion is the Guardian Spirit of Fire, he is temperamental and the most difficult to master, he is faster and more agile than the other lions, but also the most unstable, he requires someone who relies more on instincts than skill alone." Said Allura sending the Red Lion hologram towards Keith. "Keith you will pilot the Red Lion."
"Nice." Said Keith smirking at the Red Lion hologram, and Lana rolled her eyes.
"Unfortunately, I can't locate the Red Lion's coordinates yet, there must be something wrong with the Castle, after 10,000 years, it. . . Might need some work." Said Allura looking concerned.
"Don't worry, we'll find it soon, they don't call me "The Coranic" for nothing, it's because it sounds like "mechanic" so. . . Coranic, mechanic, it's not. . .It doesn't sound. . . Exactly like it, it's similar." Said Coran flashing a smile, the others look at him with black expressions and Lana giggled a bit.
"Okay, I don't understand that, but it's kinda funny." Said Lana smiling a bit.
'Really, I don't see how's that funny.' Said Blue looking at Lana with a confused look.
Then the hologram Lions roar as they charge together, they each flew towards the centre, above Allura, and there, they converged into Voltron, filling the room with light before breaking apart.
"Once all the Lions are united, you will form Voltron, the most powerful warrior ever known, the Defender of the Universe." Said Allura looking at the hologram.
"Awesome!" Said Hunk smiling and Blue looks happy as well.
"Looks like someone is eager to be reunited with her pride." Said Lana smiling at Blue.
"Wait, okay, we're going to be in there and flying Lions. Got that part. How do Lions turn into legs? Also, is this going to be a long trip? Because I have to go to the bathroom." Said Hunk looking at the princess.
"You know we don't have much time. Pidge and I will go after the Green Lions. Lana, you take Hunk and get the Yellow Lion. Keith, you stay here. If you locate that Red Lion, go get it." Said Shiro looking at his team.
"In the meantime, I'll get this Castle's defenses ready. They'll be sorely needed." Said Allura going to the controls.
"I'll ready a pod a-and load in the coordinates so that you can reach the Green Lion." Said Coran going to get a pod ready.
Then the two teams take off, Lana with Hunk in the Blue Lion, and Shiro and Pidge in a flight pod, and Allura readies herself to open a wormhole with the castle's power.
"We can only keep the Wormholes that lead to the other Lions open for two of your Earth hours, so you'll have to be quick about your work, the good news is that according to my readings, both planets are relatively peaceful." Said Coran explaining the team. "So, if you do get stuck, they could be relaxing places to live out the rest of your lives. Enjoy the trip!"
"Wait. . ." Said Pidge having second thoughts.
"Wait! What? No! OK. . ." Said Lana who doesn't like the sound of it.
"I did not receive the memo on this." Said Hunk who doesn't seem to understand.
Then they jumped into a wormhole to mysterious planets with no weapons or backup. Soon though, the wormholes swallowed them and their communications cut off.
Shiro and Pidge both arrive at the densely-forested Green Planet and explore it using an Altean compass to find the Green Lion, till they both arrived at a river.
"Look!" Said Pidge pointing towards a canoe with a lion carved as its bowsprit.
Then they both turn to see a sloth-like alien suddenly appeared beside them, Shiro and Pidge yell as Pidge claims on Shiro's shoulder and clutch at him a bit.
"It's just a. . . Whatever. . . That thing is." Said Pidge looking at the sloth-like alien.
Then the sloth-like alien looks at the Voltron symbol on Pidge's compass and seen to recognize it as he walks to his canoe and motions Shiro and Pidge.
"I. . . I think he wants us to get in his canoe." Said Pidge looking at the sloth-like alien.
"Then I guess we should go." Said Shiro and Pidge looks at him. "I've been locked up by aliens for a year, this is nothing."
Shiro and Pidge peacefully ride the canoe as the sloth-like alien paddles them towards the Green Lion, squeaks are heard from the inhabitants of the forest, and they both smile at the sight.
"I wonder if Lana and Hunk are having as good a time as us." Said Pidge smiling about his teammates.
Meanwhile Lana and Hunk are being chased by Galra fighter jets and coming under heavy fire. Both of them scream for dear life among the blaring alarms. Then the Galra figher jets hit the Blue Lion with missiles, knocking it out of the sky.
"I thought Coran said these planets were peaceful!" Cried Hunk clinging onto Lana's chair.
"Apparently the Galra must've have gotten here before we did." Said Lana scanning the area for a way out." I can't stay out here for long, we need to find the Yellow Lion!"
'Please hurry Lana, I don't know how long I can shake them off me!' Replied Blue and Hunk reads the Altean compass that Allura gave them.
"According to the coordinates, we're right on top of the Yellow Lion. It's below there, where they're mining for the ore." Said Hunk looking at the compass. "They don't even know the Lion is there. Or maybe they just got here and they're digging for the Lion? What do you think, Lana?"
"I think we don't have much time, you need to get the Yellow Lion before they do, I'm dropping you down there." Said Lana doing a nosedive.
"WHAT?!" Shout Hunk in fear. "Oh no, I can't do it Lana."
"You have to Hunk, I'll cover you!" Said Lana diving the Blue Lion to the surface and runs it toward the mine under laser fire.
"No, what if the Yellow Lion doesn't work. . . What if I. . . What if I can't get in the mine?" Said Hunk rambling in tears. "What if I start crying. . . It's too late, I'm already crying!"
"Hunk, don't worry, you'll be okay, I believe in you, now get to the Yellow Lion!" Said Lana looking at Hunk.
Then Lana quickly ejects Hunk and he rolls towards the mine while Lana draws the heavy laser fire away from him. Hunk opens a mine lift's controls and starts hot-wiring them.
"Oh yeah, sure, just drop me off in an alien planet, that's cool, man. It's only occupied by mean purple aliens that want to kill me, but whatever. Just ignore them and go connect with a big, yellow, mechanical cat, easy-peasy, that all makes a ton of sense to me." Said Hunk as he frown a bit.
As Hunk connected the wires, some sparks flew, and The Galra lift goes down into them mine. Then Hunks feels he's getting closer to the Yellow Lion, causing the carvings around him to glow and show a path. And a massive yellow glowing circle appears in front of him.
'You have arrived my Paladin, I've been waiting for so long.' Said a strong male voice behind the wall.
"How am I. . . Going to get through that?" Asked Hunk looking around.
As Hunk looked around the cavern, he notices a mobile drill, Hunk grinned as goes to the drill and starts drilling through the wall, then after he got through the wall, he got out of the drill mechanic and gasp at the sight in front of him.
In front of him is none other than the Yellow Lion that has a yellow transparent hexagon pattern shaped-dome force field surrounding. As Hunk touches the force field, the shield have drops and the Yellow Lion let out a mighty roar. Then the Yellow Lion began to glow in a bright yellow light, causing Hunk to look at it in shock, then the light flows from the metal to the ground and goes in front of Hunk, the yellow glow began to materialize as the yellow light shines so bright, causing the Hunk to close his eyes, as the light began to fade away, Hunk open his eyes.
Standing in front of him is a male Lion, who seems to be the same size as the Blue Lions physical form, he has bright yellow fur with yellow mane cover with stardust and white paws, black tipped ears and tail, a white underbelly, and has bright yellow sclerae with bright golden eyes.
'My Paladin, you have arrived!' Said Yellow walking towards Hunk and rubs his head on Hunks arms.
Hunk smile at the Yellow Lion and pets his head gently. Meanwhile Lana was struggling while she's flies the Blue Lion into the sky to draw the attacks on the Galra, but it was getting harder by the minute. As Lana battles the Galra, they all start to fire at the mine entrance.
"Oh, no!" Said Lana as the Galra fighter jets cause a massive explosion. "HUNK!"
Meanwhile Shiro and Pidge are still riding along peacefully in the canoe, but Pidge begins to have doubts about piloting the Green Lion.
"I know the Princess said that this is supposed to be my Lion, but what if she's wrong, I mean, she's probably not wrong, she's a princess, but I'm not a pilot, even though I've always wanted to be a pilot, I mean, I read all the fighter manuals, but never got to fly the simulator." Said Pidge as he kept rambling." But, hey, I can't be all that worse than Lana. She crashed sometimes. But what if I get in there and it doesn't respond? What if I get in there and it's too big and my feet don't touch the pedals? What if there aren't even pedals?!"
"You're rambling, listen. . . Our commander on the Kerberos Mission is the smartest man I ever met, and he always said, 'If you get too worried about what could go wrong, you might miss a chance to do something great.'" Said Shiro as he smiles at Pidge.
Pidge look at him in shock because he felt like he heard this before from someone before, Pidge smiles fondly. The canoe stops at a root-covered stone temple and Shiro and Pidge approach the steps; the lion carvings glow from Pidge's presence.
"Go." Said Shiro smiling at Pidge. "Be great."
Pidge grins and runs towards the temple's summit. Although nothing is found at the top, a growl is heard and light glows beneath Pidge. Pidge jumps inside of the temple.
As he land on the ground, he got up and right in front of him is none other than the Green Lion that has a green transparent hexagon pattern shaped-dome force field surrounding.
So Pidge goes and touches the force field, the shield have drops and the Green Lion let out a mighty roar as it began to glow in a bright green light, then the light flows from the metal to the ground and goes in front of Pidge, the green glow began to materialize as the green light shines so bright, causing the Pidge to close his eyes, and the light began to fade away and Pidge open eyes.
Standing in front of him is a female lioness, in its physical form like the Blue and Yellow Lions, she has bright green fur with white paws, black tipped ears and tail, a white underbelly, and and has bright yellow sclerae with bright emerald eyes.
'You have come, my Paladin.' Said the Green Lion snuggling her head on Pidges's chest. 'I know we have just met and you are new, but I'm starting to like you from the sense of your quintessence.'
Pidge smile at the Green Lion as he pets her head gently. Meanwhile Shiro was waiting for Pidge to retrieve the Green Lion, then the glow of the temple begin to fade, as he started to get worry, there was a deep rumbling sound in the ground and Shiro stumbled a bit, then he looked up to see the top of the temple explode as the Green Lion shot out, its eyes glowing yellow. Shiro grinned at how Pidge found the Green Lion.
Meanwhile at the planet where Lana and Hunk are, Lana was having a very difficult time trying to get away from the Galra ships.
"Hunk, come on! Please, buddy!" Said Lana continuing to take blows from the enemy. "Blue, I don't think I can handle this much longer."
'Will have to try Lana, we need to give Hunk more time to find Yellow.' Said Blue trying to avoid the Galra.
The Galra fighter jets hit the Blue Lion with a bombardment of laser fire and send it into a spin.
"Oh no! Blue, we're going down." Said Lana trying to pull the handles back.
The Blue Lion crash lands and struggles to stand. As the Galra fighter jets lock on and fire their missiles, Lana braces for impact. Suddenly, the Yellow Lion appears, blocking the incoming missiles and flattening the figher jets with its own body.
"You okay, Lana?" Said Hunk over the comms.
"Hunk! I thought you were dead! You jumped in front of those shots to save my life!" Said Lana smiling that her friend is okay.
"Well, actually, I was trying to get out of the way. Thankfully, what this thing lacks in speed, it more than makes up for in armor!" Said Hunk in excitement.
'Of course my Paladin, my armor is as think like the earth itself, which makes me strong!' Said the Yellow Lion to his Paladin.
'YELLOW! It's so good to see you again!' Said Blue happy to seeing the Yellow Lion.
'Me too Blue, it's so good to see again.' Said Yellow happy to see Blue too, suddenly Galra fighter jets fire more lasers and the Yellow Lion provides cover.
"We've got incoming!" Said Hunk and Allura appears on the command screen of the Blue Lion.
"Paladins, please hurry up, I can only keep the wormhole open for a couple of doboshes!" Said Allura warning Lana and Hunk.
"Let's get out of here!" Said Lana informing Hunk.
The two Lions fly towards the Wormhole, although the Yellow Lion starts twirling towards it after getting hit by one of the Galra fighter jets, and Hunk starts to feels ill.
"Ah—! Not this again. . . Oh. . ." Said Hunk feeling sick.
"Quit screwing around, Hunk! The Wormhole is closing!" Said Lana as the two safely reach the Wormhole.
Then after a few minutes later, Lana and Hunk groan as they enter the Bridge of the Castle of Lions with the Blue and Yellow Lion where everyone waits along with the Green Lion.
"You made it!" Said Allura smiling at Lana and Hunk.
"Yeah, just barely. That was a nightmare. I almost puked out there. I almost felt like Hunk!" Said Lana rubbing her neck.
"Think how I felt. I am Hunk." Said Hunk groaning as well.
"Yeah. . . We had a tough time, too." Said Pidge as he and Shiro smile at each other.
'GREEN!' Said Yellow and Blue in happiness as they go to the Green Lion and cuddle with her.
'Blue, Yellow, it's so great to see you guys again.' Said Green happy to see the Blue and Yellow again after ten thousand years.
"Did we find the Red Lion yet?" Asked Shiro looking at Coran.
"Allura just located it. There's a bit of good news and bad news. The good news is, the Red Lion's nearby. The bad news is, it's on board that Galra ship now orbiting Arus. But wait, good news again. We're Arus!" Said Coran telling the crew.
"They're here already?" Asked Shiro as he and the others were shock.
"Yes, guess my calculations were a bit off, finger counting. . . It's more of an art than a science." Said Coran and a video transmission overtakes the Castle's screen, and Sendak appears.
"Princess Allura, this is Commander Sendak of the Galra Empire, I come on behalf of Emperor Zarkon, Lord of the Known Universe, I am here to confiscate the Lions. Turn them over to me, or I will destroy your planet." Said Sendak ending video transmission and everyone got scared of Sendak's threat.
