A couple days have went by since the Paladins free the Balmera and the Balmerans from the Galra, they are now in deep space, and they decided to rest after the battle they had and while the castle heal. However Allura needed it the most, after her did the rejuvenation ceremony.
Coran had to explain the rejuvenation ceremony to the Paladins once they left the Balmera, and the team was really amazed that Allura was even still alive, after using all the energy and quintessence inside her. Right now, the five Paladins and their Lions are at the Main Bridge waiting for Coran.
"I really hope Allura is okay, after what she did to save the Balmera, I can't image how much energy she has to do to save the planet." Said Lana looking at the others.
'Well, the Balmera is an space-living creature whose bodies naturally create a variety of crystals useful as power sources.' Said Blue looking at her Paladin.
'Yeah, and after what the Galra did of turning it into a mining colony, I can't imagine how much longer it would've been before it died.' Said Yellow stuttering a bit.
"Well, the good thing is that we stop the Galra, we free the Balmerans and the Balmera, and stop that beast before it hurt the Balmera even more." Said Hunk looking at the bright side.
"Yeah, and you even rescued your Balmera girlfriend too." Said Pidge smirking at Hunk.
"Ah. . . She's not my girlfriend Pidge, she's just a new friend!" Said Hunk trying to defend himself.
'I don't know, the way you kissed her, seem like you want her to be your girlfriend!' Said Yellow smirking at Hunk.
"Oh, be quiet Yellow!" Said Hunk turning away from his lion, causing Lana and Pidge to snicker a bit, and then Altean Advisor enter the bridge.
"Hey Coran, how's Allura doing?" Asked Lana looking concerned for Allura.
"Allura is doing fine, all she needs is rest." Said Coran looking at the Paladins. "After the rejuvenation ceremony, she's completely worn out."
"No kidding, I mean she had just healed an entire planet that the Galra made it into a mining colony." Said Pidge looking at the others.
"Yeah, like I said before, it has to take a lot of energy and quintessence to return life of the Balmera." Said Lana agreeing with Pidge.
"So, what should we do now?" Asked Keith looking at the Altean Advisor.
"Well, we can't do anything else till Allura feels all better, so maybe it'll be the best time to do some Paladin training with your Lions." Said Coran smiling at the Paladins.
"That's a good idea Coran, after the tense battle with that beast at the Balmera, I think we need some more training in any case of Zarkon sends in more beasts." Said Shiro looking serious.
'That's right, we need to be more prepared in any case of a Galra attack.' Said Black agreeing with his Paladin.
"So, where are we going to train?" Asked Hunk looking curious.
"You'll see soon." Said Coran smiling at the Paladins.
After a few minutes later, the Castle of Lions have arrived at the coordinates that he placed on screen and they arrive at a solar system with five different planets that each have the same colors as the Lions fur.
"Woah, Coran what is this?" Asked Keith as he and the others look amazed.
"This is the Karthulian System." Said Coran smiling at the solar system.
"What's the Karthulian System?" Asked Pidge looking curious.
"The Karthulian System is the training grounds of the original Paladins of Voltron filled with planets that have extreme natural environments to test each Paladin's skills as a pilot." Said Coran explaining to the Paladins.
"Cool, so what are the planets from the system?" Asked Lana looking curious.
"First is the Yendailian: A planet constantly exploding with volcanic blasts, it requires lighting fast reflexes to survive its deadly blast." Said Coran explaining the fire planet.
'As you know, fire's season is summer as that is the time when it is the hottest. Fire represent passion/desire and destruction, but also life and warmth. To embrace fire, you need to learn how to control your temper that is like a fire you must learn to focus for power.' Said Red to Keith.
"The second is the Bluve: A planet covered in ice blizzards and blue crystals, the sweeping blizzards on the ice planet will force you to fly as you try to maneuver through blue crystal-like spires." Said Coran explaining the ice planet.
'Water's season is Winter, which fits with snow and ice as they are known to be frozen water. The element of water represents change, purification and healing. To understand water, you must be as fluid and versatile as the river.' Said Blue to Lana.
"The third is the Niloofar: A planet covered in sandy wind storms. The shifting sands and high winds create moving columns. A living obstacle course." Said Coran explaining the rock planet.
'Earth's season is spring, as that is when the Earth is in full bloom with nature. Earth represents strength and substance. To connect Earth, you must be strong, like the mountain.' Said Yellow to Hunk.
"The forth is the Griezian Sur: A planet covered in gigantic rain forests and home to the Muldoks, a species comparable in size to the Green Lion. Weaving through the rainforests is hard enough, but avoiding the constant barrage of attacks from the Muldoks is nearly impossible." Said Coran explaining the forest planet.
'Nature's season is also spring as that is when it begins to bloom along with Earth. Nature represent peace and calmness, it also represents growth and intelligence. To learn Nature, you must learn to be strong and calm, like the forest.' Said Green to Pidge.
"And finally there's the Talwar Six: A planet filled with enormous, labyrinthine caves create by giant space wombeasts before the species began its mating cycle migration four million years ago. You've never seen a hairpin turn until you've seen a wombeast tunnel." Said Coran explaining the final planet.
'Air's season is Autumn or Fall, as it's the time when the winds are the strongest during those time. The element is Wind represents freedom and spirituality. To embrace wind, you must be the leader in body and spirit. Be like the wind. Let nothing weigh you down.' Said Black to Shiro.
"Now then, I set you all each coordinates to the planets on your Lions." Said Coran instructing the Paladins. "You Paladins go to those planets and start on your training."
"What are you going to do, Coran?" Asked Lana looking at the Altean Advisor.
"I'm going to stay here and make sure Allura gets her rest." Said Coran twirling his mustache.
"Alright team, let's get to our training." Said Shiro looking at teammates. "Good luck."
The Paladins nodded their heads as they and their Lions all head to their hangers, and they exit out of the Castle of Lion as they all each head to the planets with their Lions to began their special Paladin training.
Shiro became breathless as he and Black entered the planet's atmosphere. The whole planet had an ethereal scenery, with swirling clouds of white and different shades of purple, and some slight lavender. Not to mention the tallest mountains appeared to be made of pitch black rock ore, with white peaks of snow. They were so high up, the clouds were actually swirling around their very peaks. Shiro even can see the land from his lion as all the tree's all have reddish leaves with a hint of lavender, like the season of Autumn. There were also many caves that each lead to a different path in the mountains.
As Shiro and Black landed, and exit out of Black's mechanical body, they start walking and look around. While Shiro was fascinated of the planets scenery, the first thing he noticed was a fog rolling to their direction. It was only a little fog at first, but it suddenly grew thicker with each step he and his Lion took. Soon he could see nothing through the blackish mist but a few yards in front of him.
"Okay Black, do you feel like this isn't right?" Asked Shiro's as he look at his Lion.
'Yes, if I know well, is that fog comes from a change in temperature. But nothing's changed since we got here.' Said Black looking at the fog.
Getting an uneasy feeling, Shiro pressed onwards with Black. Then suddenly Black's ear twitched and his head snapped around as he heard something large rush past him just out of sight.
"Black, what is it?" Asked Shiro looking at his Lion.
'Shiro, I feel like we're being watch.' Said Black feeling a sensation.
Looking around suspiciously, Shiro suddenly became aware of a presence behind him, and whirled around. Standing there looking at him and his Lion, was none other than a person. It look like a female, but she is completely made out of purple air and her eyes glow in a bright black.
"Black, who is that?" Asked Shiro in shock.
'I don't know, when I used to come to this planet with my original Paladin, we never encountered this person before.' Said Black in shock.
The female stared at Shiro for a long moment, before bounding past Shiro and Black into the path where the fog was thickest.
"Wait!" Shouted Shiro as he and Black went after her.
As Shiro and Black ran as fast as they could after the female, but the female vanished in a particularly thick patch of fog. Shiro and his Lion reach to a stop the second they realized something was really wrong. Not a second ago, Shiro and Black were where Black's mechanical body was. But now they found themselves standing in the middle of a seemingly endless rope bridge that was swaying over a bottomless chasm of fog.
Glancing back the way he'd come, Shiro saw nothing of the trees that had surrounded him a second before. But when he turned to face forwards again, he nearly jumped in shock to see the air female standing before him in all his anthropomorphic glory.
Shiro and Black both struggled to keep their balance as the bridge swayed under their actions, and Shiro grabbed one of the rope handles to peer into the swirling mist below, trying to see the bottom. But the bridge continued to swing and pitch under him, and Shiro yelped as he felt himself flung over the edge of it. For a brief panic-filled second, Shiro felt himself fly though the air in the direction of the thick bottomless fog.
But at the last second, the Black Lion was able to catch up to his Paladin, and caught him on his back, and after a brief glance down, the Black Lion spread its wings and pulled himself back up onto the edge of a mountain.
"Thanks Black." Said Shiro smiling at his Lion.
"No problem Shiro, it really pays off when you wings, they don't call me the Lion of Wind for nothing." Said Black smiling at Shiro.
Glancing around, Shiro and Black saw that the wind-like female had once again vanished, leaving the two leaders alone on the bridge. Or maybe not so alone, as a flash out of the corner of his eye had Shiro turn and find himself face to face with a Galra Sentry, who crouched on the edge of the mountain with its head tilted at an inhuman angle.
Leaping back to his feet, Shiro quickly activated his prosthetic arm and charges to the sentry, but not fast enough to catch the Galra Sentry before it vanished into the fog once again.
Glancing around wearily, Shiro couldn't help but wonder if it was real, though whether he was talking about the Galra Sentry or air-like female, not even he or his Lion knew. Just then, Shiro heard the sound of something flying towards him at great speeds, and he turned quickly to punch at a flying Galra Sentry who came barreling out of the fog at him. He missed, and the Galra Sentry shot past him, blasting it's blaster which Shiro blocked with his armors shield.
The Galra Sentry landed before Shiro and his Lion with its blaster raised, and Shiro ready his stance to fight it, with Black standing by his side getting ready to pounce, only to realize there were two more Galra Sentries closing in on the other side.
"Okay, this is weird." Said Shiro grumbling as he see's even more Galra Sentry closed in on him from both sides.
'More like shocking!' Said Black seeing more Galra Sentries.
So Shiro and the Black Lion continue to fight the Galra Sentries, they tried to keep their balance from the bridge, and making sure they don't fall off.
"Keep 'em coming! I could do this all day!" Shouted Shiro as he continued attacking the Galra Sentries with his prosthetic arm.
'I don't know how long will keep going on like this, but at least we are getting some training.' Said Black attacking a Galra Sentry with his teeth and rips its robot arm off.
Then Shiro swing his prosthetic arm at the Galra Sentries, which slice the three Galra Sentries apparitions and they suddenly vanish in puffs of black smoke, while Black suddenly swing his claws at a Galra Sentry apparition and vanish in a puff of black smoke.
Shiro then ducked as another Galra Sentry took a blast at his head with a blaster. Then Shiro knocked its feet out from under it in response and throws a fist from under it as it was distracted by its loss of balance. Then Shiro and Black look around and see no more Galra Sentries came into view.
"That's it? I still got more arrows, guys!" Said Shiro looking around for more.
'Shiro, I feel like you shouldn't say something like that, cause if there's no more Galra Sentries in view, I'm pretty sure it's not over yet.' Said Black looking around for Galra Sentries.
Shiro immediately regretted his words as the entire bridge began to shake, and Shiro watched in horror as the ropes holding it up began snapping one after another.
Shiro desperately tried to run to the end of it, with his Lion following him, only for the bridge to give way beneath his feet. Shiro screamed as he felt himself plunge down towards the mist-covered ground below.
Then with lightning fast reflexes, he managed to catch one of the ropes of the broken bridge, and tries to swing on it, but it broke and continued to fall, however Black was able to catch Shiro on his back and fly them to the mountain, however he didn't have to look what's in front of him, and they both ended up with themselves slamming face first into a stone wall.
"Ouch. . . Uh, Black?" Said Shiro groaning in pain.
'Yes, Shiro?' Said Black groaning in pain as well.
"Let's. . . Um. . . Let's not mention this to the others." Said Shiro to his Lion.
'Agree, it's best that they don't know this.' Said Black agreeing with his Paladin.
Then running his now sore nose with one hand, and keeping a tight grip on his Lion, Shiro motion his lion to fly upwards to the mountain, so Black carefully began flying upwards to safety.
As they're neared the top, Shiro caught sight of another Galra Sentry peering down, as if trying to see if their fallen with the bridge. Before it could spot them, Shiro jump from Black's back, slice the Galra Sentry with prosthetic arm, causing it to flung off the cliff into the fog below. Shiro then landed himself on Blacks back again, as the Black Lion landed onto the ledge, grateful to once again be on solid ground.
"Not as tough as I thought." Said Shiro trying to make light of the events.
'Maybe Shiro, but I feel like this isn't over just yet, so let's not let our guard down.' Said Black informing his Paladin.
Then Shiro looked at the path before him and his Lion, and saw it slope upwards into a mountain, meaning that they still had a long way to go, so they start walking down the path.
Meanwhile at the planet Bluve, Lana landed softly on the surface of the wintery planet with the Blue Lion, and they both exited out of Blue's mechanical body. Lana couldn't help but find herself in awe at the quite beautiful scenery. The water was crystal clear with parts of it covered by blankets of snow, frost and ice, there were small lakes that are froze over by ice and make rivers flowing through different directions.
There were also icebergs like mountains and glaciers. On the land, there many different types of trees and plants that are covered with frost and snow, or some are frozen ice. The sky was lit up with a sort of Aurora Borealis like lights, consisting of infinite swirling shades of deep blue, violet, and red, and to top it off, there was a blue moon at the between two mountains.
"Wow, it's so beautiful." Said Lana in amazement.
'Indeed it is, I always love to come here with my original Paladin ten thousand years ago, when we trained together.' Said Blue smiling at the landscape.
So Lana and Blue were both heading to the training ground where Blue and her original Paladin use to train in. However, pale blue fog surrounded them as it barely show a crystal blue river rushing in front of them.
'This is strange.' Said Blue looking around.
"What is it, Blue?" Asked Lana looking at his Lion.
'Before I was here with my original Paladin, we never have any problems with fog, sometimes there're some blizzards.' Said Blue looking around.
Lana and Blue tried to look through the fog, but couldn't see through the fog, the only they could see is a crystal blue river flowing through the opposite direction. Seeing no way to cross, Lana and Blue decided to follow it upstream.
As they walked, Lana became aware that the only sound to be heard was the river flowing past her and nothing else. Coming to a stop, Lana looked around in confusion.
"Okay Blue, either this is the quietest area we've ever been in, or something's very wrong here." Said Lana looking around.
'Yeah, I notice, it's never been this quiet.' Said Blue looking around as well.
Suddenly Lana and Blue both heard the sound of a loud splash, and their head snapped around in time to see a Galra Sentry burst out of the river and land on one of the small iceberg in the middle of the stream. Lana got her Blaster out and glared at the Galra Sentry, as Blue ready her stance and growling at it.
"Looks like we got ourselves an intruder here Blue." Said Lana readying her Blaster.
'I don't understand how the Galra know where we are, I didn't sense any of them.' Said Blue growling at the Galra Sentry.
The Galra Sentry cocked its head at an awkward angle, and launched itself at Lana and Blue. Lana brought her Blaster up, and the Galra Sentry skewered itself in mid air, before vanishing in a puff of blue smoke. Lana quickly found that this was just a distraction, as a pair of arms suddenly came from behind, grabbed her around the waist, and tossed her into the shallow waters of the river, with Blue being thrown as well into the river as well.
Lana wasted no time jumping back to her feet, despite her bottom and legs are now being soaking wet and how Blue's fur is soaking wet, then Lana turned to face the one who threw her with a glared on her face. Only to gasp as she and Blue saw an entire squadron of Galra Sentries standing on the bank of the river ready to fight them. Regaining her composure, Lana shot the Galra Sentries a cocky smirk.
"Well, I suppose you guys will be a good warm up." Said Lana smirking at the sentries. "What do you say, Blue?"
'I say let's do this!' Said Blue smirking as well.
The Galra Sentries remained silent, and all started running towards them at once. In response, Lana hefted her Blaster up, as she and Blue rushed forwards through the water to meet them. Unaware to Lana and Blue, they never notice someone watching them. It was a female, but her whole body is made out of crystal blue water and her eyes glow in a bright white.
Meanwhile at the Yendailian planet, Keith and the Red Lion have arrived at the planet's atmosphere and landed, once they got out of Red's mechanical body, Keith is amazed at the sight he's seeing. The planet's landscape was basically volcanos with rivers of lava, rocky and obsidian grounds, yet somehow there were patches of orange and red grass. There were many trees that were either burned or have beautiful leaves that are color of gold, reddish-orange, and deep red. The air, even wind, was hot and smelled like sulfur and there were black and gray clouds in the sky.
"Woah, this place looks amazing, it kinda reminds me of Texas, only the atmosphere." Said Keith looking around.
'Yeah it is, my original Paladin and I will always train hard, day and night, to make sure we keep shape for any battle we are in.' Said Red looking around the landscape.
So Keith and Red both start to walk towards to the best place to train. Suddenly like Lance and Blue, Keith and Red had also stumbled upon the river of lava while walking through the reddish tinted fog, and also like the Blue Paladin and Blue Lion, they couldn't be able to see anything clearly.
"Oh great, I can't see anything, how are we going to train Red?" Asked Keith looking at his Lion.
'Well, clearly we can't see anything except the lava river, I think the best way is to follow where the lava is heading.' Said Red suggesting an idea.
So decided to take the other way, Keith starts getting on Red's back, as the Red Lion starts to walk onto the lave, and let it carry them downstream towards the cave, since they figured it was as good a direction as any to travel in.
Red let the current sweep him and Keith into the cave, and rode it out until it emptied out into a underground lava lake in a large cavern. Despite the fact that they were no doubt deep under the mountain, the cavern lit up enough for Keith and Red to make out the dark reddish color of the stones, and see all the stalagmites located on the ground, and the stalactites decorating the ceiling.
Keith was still hoping for some training so they can be ready to fight Zarkon, still as long as he and Red are here, they might as well explore. It was certainly more interesting then wandering around in the fog outside. As Red quickly arrived to shore and Keith got off his Lion's back, they both notice a cluster of torches hovering in the shadows, and which were giving a dim light to the cave.
"Red, does anyone ever heard of this planet?" Asked Keith looking at his Lion.
'No, in fact this solar system is only for us to go for training, no one ever comes here.' Said Red looking concerned.
"Well, somebody's gotta be here keeping those torches lit." Said Keith looking at the torched.
Then Keith and Red both looked around for some sign of their whereabouts. Like maybe there was something interesting down in this cave after all. Only for Keith's jaw to drop as one of the torches shifted forwards, and a Galra Sentry stepped into the light, revealing to have been carrying the flaming weapon. Several more followed it, until Keith and Red found themselves surrounded by Galra Sentries with flaming spears.
"Well alright, this has just got interesting." Said Keith smirking as he pulled out his sword and prepared for the coming fight.
'I don't know how the Galra found this place, but I was hoping for some action.' Said Red smirking as well and getting ready to fight.
Just in the nick of time, the Galra Sentries began to rush towards Keith and the Red lion and they attack all at once. Unaware to Keith and Red, they never notice someone watching them. It was a female, but her whole body is made out of deep orange fire and her eyes glow in a bright red.
Meanwhile at the Niloofar planet, Hunk landed his lion in one of the planet's many canyons as he and Yellow exits out of Yellow's mechanical body, and Hunk is amazed at the planets scenery. The rocks were a beautiful mix of reds, yellows, oranges and even some search pink tints. Hunk see's the desserts with golden sand that had an orange tint, there were many trees that have greenish-yellow, orange, and gold leaves, along have cactus with yellow and orange flowers on them, and had seen the towering mountains, colored reddish orange that reached the Holden sky with the orange sun streaming light across the planet.
"Wow Yellow, this place is so amazing." Said Hunk smiling at his Lion.
'Yeah, my Paladin and I will always work on reflexes in one of those canyons, those were good times.' Said Yellow smiling at the scenery. 'Well, let's start training, I know the perfect canyon to train.'
So Yellow and Hunk both start to head towards the canyon Yellow suggested to train, but suddenly they both somehow ended up walking through a yellow fog and they feel like a few things are not right. One, everything have began to be eerily silent, which scared Hunk and getting close his Lion.
The second thing he noticed was that the rocks seemed fewer and farther between, which was odd since he and his Lion just arrived at the planet, with no clearings around. Suddenly they came upon a mountain path stretching upwards, and he knew there was none of the like in their arriving area.
"Uh Yellow, have you and your original Paladin ever had this kinda situation before?" Asked Hunk looking at his Lion.
'Uh no, my original Paladin and never have an kinda problem with fog before, but now that I think about, I never seen this type of fog at all.' Said Yellow trying to see clear at the fog.
"So, what should we do?" Asked Hunk looking at his Lion.
'Well, there's no other choice, but to keep going down this path till we know where we are.' Said Yellow looking at the path.
See that there's no other options, Hunk took a deep breath, and continued on up the mountain with Yellow.
"At least now we know for sure we're on the right track." Said Donnie as he began his trek with his Lion. "Or at least, I hope so."
'You and me both Hunk.' Said Yellow agreeing with his Paladin.
But after several minutes of climbing the mountain and nothing to show for it, Hunk had to give a frustrated groan as he edged along a narrow pathway.
"Aw who am I kidding? For all we know Yellow, this isn't the right direction." Said Hunk groaning in frustration.
'I know how you feel Hunk, I'm getting really tired of this.' Said Yellow feeling exhausted as well.
Suddenly Hunk paused to glance down the sheer drop of cliff along side his path, and gulped in fear.
"Boy, I really miss GPS guidance right now." Said Hunk looking scared.
'I know how you feel, but part of our training is not to focus on our technology, we need to focus on our strategies.' Said Yellow glancing down at the sheer drop of the cliff. 'Although to be honest, I wish we do have a GPS.'
Just then, the whole mountain shook, and Hunk's head snapped upwards to see several Galra Sentries standing on a ledge above him and Yellow. As one, the Sentry slammed their large stone hammers into the side of the mountain, making the whole thing shake again. Hunk and Yellow stumbled and dodged as some dislodged rocks came raining down towards their heads.
"You're gonna bring the whole mountain down!" Shouted Hunk up at the Galra Sentry.
But the only reply Hunk got was a pebble bouncing off his head, and the Galra Sentry raising their hammers to strike again.
"Unless, you don't care what happens 'cause you're an apparition!" Said Hunk as his eyes widened in realization.
Their only response was to shake the mountain again with their hammers, this time sending a large boulder crumbling off the side, and missing Hunk and his Lion by inches. As Hunk ducked for cover to avoid the boulder, the Galra Sentries ceased their hammering, and instead came running down the mountainside at the Yellow Paladin with their hammers ready to bash his head in.
"I hate being right." Said Hunk letting out a nervous chuckle as he reached for his blaster cannon.
'I know how you feel Hunk, but right now, let's deal with this.' Said Yellow getting ready to fight.
Unaware to Hunk and Yellow, they never notice someone watching them. It was a female, but her whole body is made out of yellowish-gray sandy rocks and her eyes glow in a bright golden eyes.
Meanwhile at the Griezian Sur planet, Pidge have arrived at the planet atmosphere, as she stepped into the landscape of the planet, followed by the Green Lion, while her drone, Rover, stays behind inside Greens mechanical body. The planet seem like an earth jungle, with overgrowing vegetation, like vines, and tall shaped trees, with intertwining and twisting trunks and branches that with have leaves or flowers.
There were also many other plants from odd flowers and herbs, to bushes, shrubs, plus the foliage and flowers creating a canopy overhead from the trees, allowing the slightest streams of light through.
"Woah, I'll admit I'm not a nature girl, but this place is so amazing." Said Pidge in amazement.
'Indeed it is, like my original Paladin, we both love to come here to know the beauty of nature, it shows the way of life before technology.' Said Green smiling at the scenery.
"Well, no offense Green, but I'm much more of a tech girl than a nature girl." Said Pidge smiling at her Lion.
'None taken, Pidge, now then I know the perfect place to train, it's where me and my original Paladin use to train a lot.' Said Green smiling at Pidge.
Pidge smile at her Lion, as they both start to head to where Green suggested to train. However, as soon as they both enter the forest, something became amiss as a greenish fog enter their way, Green tried to figure out which path they are in, but because the forest have so many tree's, it became impossible to know where they're going.
Pidge was starting to get sick of the trees, and the fog, and the creepy silent forests with no end. Back on Earth, Pidge would sometimes see a woodland creature on some field trips she and her class will go, and Coran told her about the Muldoks creatures in this planet, but after all this walking in eerie silence, she hasn't hear a single sound.
"Uh Green, is it usually quiet around here?" Asked Pidge looking a bit concerned.
'No Pidge, it's never quiet here, I don't understand these rainforests are always filled with some small woodland creature.' Said Green looking around. 'Something weird is going here.'
"Well, let's keep going so we can focus on our training." Said Pidge continuing to walk.
'Alright Pidge, but I got a bad feeling about this.' Said Green following her Paladin.
Even though it's quiet, Pidge continued made her way through the forest as silently and stealthily as she could with her Lion. As due tiptoed from tree to tree to avoid being spotted by anyone who could also be in the planet, she can hear the sound of rushing footsteps. Before Pidge could react, something rushed by her, and knocked her flat on her back.
'Pidge, are you alright?!' Asked Green concerned for her Paladin and help her up.
Jumping back to her feet and holding her knife headed grappling hook out in front of her, while Green takes her stance, and they both start to scan around the area.
"Who's there!" Shouted Pidge looking around.
In response, Pidge was once again hip-checked to the ground, along with Green who was also knock onto the ground, and they both got back up much more annoyed than before.
"Come out!" Shouted Pidge glaring at the trees that he just knew were hiding whoever kept hitting her and Green.
The forest was utterly silent as she searched around, then finally she heard a crack sound, and Pidge spun on her heel and flung a grappling hook in the direction she heard the twig snap, eager to get one up on her attacker.
Her grappling hook kept flying through the air, only to be caught between the fingers of a Galra Sentry atop a tall shadowy tree. However it sent out a shock reaction to the Sentry and it fell to the ground as Pidge's got her grappling hook back.
"Your stealth is so weak, and you totally felt the shock wave through your circuits!" Said Pidge gesturing at the tree with a proud smirk.
'Uh Pidge, I don't think it's over.' Said Green looking at the direction of the tree.
Pidge was confused at first, but as soon as she look where Green is looking, suddenly the Green Paladin began to feel paled as the 'tree' suddenly alit with several pairs of glowing violet eyes.
"Okay Green, either I'm wrong about the stealth, or where about to fight a ten-eyed woodland creature." Said Pidge as she honestly didn't know which one can be worse.
'I might know so much about woodland creatures Pidge, but I'm pretty sure that there's no such thing as a woodland creature with ten eyes.' Said Green looking a bit concerned.
Just then the fog began to fade a bit to reveal it was not a tree at all or a woodland creature, but rather a totem pole of Galra Sentries, all glaring down at the Green Lion and Green Paladin with glowing violet eyes.
"OKAY, I WAS SO WRONG ABOUT THE STEALTH!" Shouted Pidge getting on her Lion, and Green began to run to put some distance between them and the other sentries. 'AND I'M SORRY TO SAY THIS GREEN, BUT THIS EXACTLY WHY I DON'T DO NATURE!"
'Will worry about this later Pidge, for now let's tried to get away from them, I don't how the Galra find this place, but something is definitely going on around!' Said Green continuing to run.
The sound of several running footsteps chased after Pidge and Green as the Lion bolted through the trees, and Pidge didn't need to look back to know they were gaining on her and her Lion. Suddenly, Pidge began to miss the silence.
Unaware to Pidge and Green, they never notice someone watching them. It was a female, but her whole body is made out of deep green leaves and vines and her eyes glow in a bright green eyes.
Meanwhile back at the Castle of Lions, Coran is in Allura's bedroom as he's giving Allura a cup of hot tea and the Altean Princess sips her drink, while the mice lay on Allura's pillow.
"Coran, how do you think the Paladins are doing?" Asked Allura looking at her Altean Advisor.
"I have no doubt that they are doing really well with their training." Said Coran with a proud smile on his face.
"Are you sure the Paladins will be okay?" Asked Allura looking concerned. "I can't help but feel like something weird is going to happen."
"Don't worry Princess, I'm sure the Paladins are doing just fine, there's nothing they can handle." Said Coran smiling at Allura.
However Coran and Allura are unaware of the situation the Paladins are in at the planets with their Lions, but for some reason, the situation the Paladins will somehow help them understand their Lions elements.
