Meanwhile back at the Bluve planet, Lana and Blue both continue to fight the Galra Sentries in the ice planet at the best they can, and for some strange feeling, it was somehow an easy fight for the both of them.
Lana continued blasting her blasters through the last attacking Galra Sentry, and let out a sigh of relief as it vanished into blue smoke, while the Blue Lion slash her claws at two Galra Sentries and bite one with her teeth, and they vanished into blue smokes. Then Lana began turning her head to look around the shallow river that had been her battleground to see if there're more Galra Sentries.
"Okay, who's next?" Asked Lana with a cocky smirk on her face.
'You know Lana, as much I like a little action and adventure, something tells me that this fight is way too easy.' Said Blue looking around for more sentries.
"What are you saying Blue, someone wants us to win?" Asked Lana looking at her Lion.
'What I'm saying is that I feel like someone is testing us.' Said Blue getting suspicious.
Honestly Lana wasn't expecting the answer she got from her Lion, as she continued looking around for anything suspicious, suddenly Lana and Blue saw some light blue smoke flying around them and go straight to another direction where the path continues from the river.
Seeing that there's no other option, Lana and Blue began to follow the smoke down the path through the fog. After a few minutes, while continue walking forward where the river is flowing, suddenly the blue smoke began appearing behind Blue, then it whisk past the Blue Lion, and suddenly Blue began to stop.
'Lana, something's wrong, I can't move!' Said Blue trying to move but couldn't.
Lana turn and tried to help her lion, but somehow Blue wouldn't move, till Lana found the source of the problem, it turn out Blue's paws were chained up by some crystal blue chains on the ground.
"Chains. . . I don't understand, I didn't see anyone pass us by." Said Lana looking around.
'Lana. . . I feel like someone is watching.' Said Blue getting suspicious and looking around.
Suddenly Lana heard a soft sound coming closer, that she got up on her feet quickly and ready her blaster as she look around. And suddenly the blue fog came back and Lana tried to look around.
"Who there?" Asked Lana looking around. "Whoever you are, I can take you down!"
"Are you always this confident?" Said a female voice from the fog.
It cause Lana to look around to try and spot the source. Through the fog, Lana caught a glimpse of a female shadow running through the mist, but when Lana moved cautiously forward to get a closer look, the figure had vanished.
"I can sense your cockiness within you, but loyalty inside." Said the female voice again, this time sounding like it was right by Lana's ear.
The Blue Paladin pirouetted away, scanning the area for the speaker. Then the female figure slowly stepped out of the fog, and Lana's eyes to widen in shock. Standing before her, was the full water body female as her bright white eyes look him.
"You. . ." Said Lana gasping at the sight of the female. "You. . . Your made out of. . . Water!"
"I see that you have a bright eye there young Paladin. I am the Warrior of Water." Said the Warrior female looking at Lana. "I've seen you fought those Galra Sentry illusions I made, you fought well with your Lion, but you seem to lack with your strategy."
"Wait, you were the one who made those illusions?" Said Lana leaning forward slightly out of the fog and seeing the view of the females water face for the first time.
Lana had to take a step back at the sight. Lana was amazed how the female warrior is really made out of water, and her water hair was flowing as her feet was on the ground. Lana stay calm as her blaster is ready in case of any attack.
"I'm guessing you are the reason why my Lion is chained up." Said Lana readying her blaster.
"That's correct. I see how strong you are with your Lion as you fought together, and you are friendly, kind, reflective, and shows great intelligence." Said the female water warrior to Lana. "But however you can be a bit egotistical, cocky, confrontational, and arrogant at times, and you need to be able to learn how to survive and defend yourself if you ever get separated from your Lion. So in order to get your Lion free, you must fight me."
"Okay then, I'm pretty sure I can handle fight a girl like you." Said Lana smirking confidently while her blaster is ready.
"I don't really wish to fight you, Blue Paladin. Perhaps you have not noticed." Said the Water Warrior as her entire form began to change as blue smoke goes around her, shock Lana. "There is a reason why I'm called the Warrior of Water."
Suddenly the Female Water Warrior is in her full form. Her skin is light brown, she has aqua hair with a dark blue gradient which she leaves long and flowing, and has sapphire blue eyes. She wears a armor that consists of the color blue. There are crescent-shaped waves symbols that can be seen at the top of her chest, and on her sleeves. She also wears a blue and white skirt, with white leggings and blue boots.
"I'm in trouble, aren't I?" Asked Lana trying to wrap her head around the fight she's in, only for the Water Warrior's only answer was to strike her with her sword whip.
Meanwhile back at the Yendailian planet, within the cave, Keith was having the time of his life pummeling the Galra Sentries that attacked him, while the Red Lion was always having a best time fighting the Galra Sentries.
"You know, despite the fact we're supposed to do some training, I was kinda hoping to kick some butts." Said Keith as took out three Galra Sentries in quick succession.
'Tell me about it, I was actually looking forward for a fight, I need to get it out of my system.' Said Red taking out four Galra Sentries in a quick flash.
Then Keith grinned savagely as several more Galra Sentries jumped out of the shadows and surrounded him. Activating his bayard into a sword, Keith began attacking the Galra Sentries with his sword, as he slash the Galra Sentries with his reflexes.
One Galra Sentry managed to get around him, and tried to attack him from behind with a flaming spear. But Keith saw him coming, and blocked the blow before slashing the Galra Sentry away with his sword.
"Yeah!" Shouted Keith cheering as he pump his fist in the air at his apparent victory.
'Yeah, now that was amazing.' Said Red smiling for his victory.
But as Keith surveyed the cave for any more Galra Sentries, suddenly a bright light began flying around, which caught Keith's attention as he tried to find the source of the light. As he looked around, a dark shape seemed to be growing in the middle of the lava pond, and Keith frowned at the sight.
"What the. . . What is that?" Asked Keith wondering what it could be.
Suddenly, a figure burst out of the lava, and Keith yelped as he saw the fire-like female soar through the air, and come flying right past Keith in a whisk, and flying past the Red Lion, and suddenly Red's paws were chained up in red chains. Keith ran to his Lion and tried to free Red with his sword, but it was no use. Suddenly the fire-like female landed on the cave floor nearby him.
"Who are you?!" Shouted Keith getting his sword ready. "Release my Lion now!"
"I can see that have so much fire in you, yet you lack to control your temper." Said fire-like female softly.
Suddenly a red smoke goes around her and her full form. She has brown skin, red hair with a golden gradient which flows freely in flame-like waves, and deep red eyes. She wears a armor that consists of the color red. There are a flame-like mark symbols that can be seen at the top of her chest, and on her sleeves. She also wears a red and white skirt, with white leggings and red boots.
"I am the Warrior of Fire." Said the Fire Warrior making a sword appear in her hand. "I've seen how you fight Red Paladin, but yet I can see you barely understand the element of fire."
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Said Keith glaring at the female.
"You have a great agility and amazing combat, but somehow your rebellious and impulsive nature leads him to be foiled by his own frustration, temper, and unwavering desire to defeat the Galra Empire." Said the Fire Warrior. "And you work well with your Red Lion, but somehow you lack on how you can fight well without your Lion, so in order to free your Lion, you must battle me."
Keith smirk like it's a challenge he can handle, so he charged at the Fire Warrior, but she was able to dodge him as a quick flash, Keith turn to her and was able to block her sword attack, and realized that it won't be easy at all.
Meanwhile back at the Niloofar planet, on the narrow cliff side of the mountain, Hunk was having a hard time trying to avoid the blows of two of the Galra Sentries, while simultaneously dodging the falling rocks being lobed at him from two more overhead, and while the Yellow Lion tried to fight off the other Galra Sentries.
Hunk barely managed to knock the feet out from the one nearest to him, and shove another off the cliff, before he had to leap away with a shout as another bolder nearly crushed him as it came crashing down, and he glared up at the Galra Sentries above him.
"You wanna bring half the mountain down!" Shouted Hunk to the Sentries.
'Hunk, they are from the Galra Empire, and I'm pretty sure they don't care what happens to us or them!' Said Yellow continuing to fight.
Then Hunk leaped higher than he ever had before, and landed on the ledge along side the Galra Sentries, taking them down with a few quick blasts with his cannon.
"Fine with me!" Shouted Hunk shooting his cannon against the ledge of the mountain, creating a rockslide that swept away the remaining Galra Sentries. "Hah! We show them!"
'I don't know about this, Hunk!' Said Yellow looking around. 'Something tells me that. . .'
The Yellow Lion was cut off as the rocky wall next to Hunk and the Yellow Lion suddenly exploded outwards between them, and the earth-like female began stalking towards them through the dust. Hunk paled and backed away a bit.
Suddenly the smoke began to clear to reveal the female's full form. The female has dark skin, long gold hair flowing through the wind, and amber eyes. She wears a armor that consists of the color yellow. There are earth crystal symbols that can be seen at the top of her chest, and on her sleeves. She also wears a yellow and white skirt, with white leggings and yellow boots.
"What the. . . Who are you?" Asked Hunk getting scared. "Don't come any closer, I still don't know how to use this really well."
"Hmm. . . I see that you are headstrong, aggressive, and single-minded, Yellow Paladin. Yet you seem to easily get feared from heights." Said earth-like female. "And you work well with your Lion, yet you seem to lack experience without your Lion."
Suddenly Hunk began to look where his Lion is, and saw the Yellow Lion all chained up with rock chains, and he couldn't move.
"Yellow. . . What do you want?" Asked Hunk looking at the female.
"I am the Warrior of Earth, of you wish for your Lion to be free, you must battle me." Said the Earth Warrior summing a big earth hammer in her hands. "Let's see how quick your thinking is when your head is smash into the rocks."
Hunk gulped for a bit and was getting ready to fight the Earth Warrior. The Earth Warrior female grinned at him, as she starts lashing out with her hammer, almost trying to hit Hunk, but he was able to dodge it, but somehow the hammer hit the wall hard enough for the mountain to shake.
"Do you feel that, Yellow Paladin?" Asked the Earth Warrior to Hunk.
"Absolutely." Said Hunk trying to balance himself at the mountain, only to yelp and dodge as the Earth Warrior came charging towards him again.
Meanwhile back at the Griezian Sur planet, the Green Lion kept on jumping from one tree to another tree, with Pidge on her back, as they were staying one step ahead of the Galra Sentries chasing him. The Galra Sentries tried to follow, but every time one tried to attack, Pidge was ready for them.
She punched, kicked, and slashed the Sentries out of the trees one by one, until finally the last Galra Sentry exploded into Green smoke under Pidge's grappling hook's knife head.
"Alright, that's how we do it!" Shouted Pidge smirking at her victory.
'I'm not so sure about that Pidge, I feel like this isn't over.' Said Green feeling the fight has just begun.
Then as the Green Lion landed silently on the forest floor, and Pidge got off her Lions back, a dark green figure suddenly burst out of the fog, and tackled Pidge into a tree. Pidge groaned as she smacked face first into the bark, and shook her head to clear it.
Whatever that was, it was the same size as Lance, but for some reasons, it was stronger and faster then the other Galra Sentries. Pidge couldn't help but get the feeling she had to get to battle this fight.
"Green, let's get ready!" Said Pidge calling for her Lion, but no response. "Green?"
Pidge turn to see the Green Lion's paws were all chained up with root chains and she couldn't budge.
"Green, what happened, where did these chains come from?" Asked Pidge trying to free her Lion.
'I don't know, I was going to help you till these chains came out of nowhere.' Said Green trying to break free.
Then turning to look in the direction where the figure was last seen, Pidge paled as she saw the forest-like female standing a few feet in front of her and her Lion, with her bright green eyes looking at them. Suddenly green smoke began going around her, and suddenly she was in her full form.
She has pure pale skin, she has long light green hair that has vines tying one strand of hair in a braid, and emerald green eyes. She wears a armor that consists of the color green. There are a leaf with three points symbols that can be seen at the top of her chest, and on her sleeves. She also wears a green and white skirt, with white leggings and green boots.
"My, such great intelligence you have." Said the forest-like female.
"Who are you?!" Said Pidge aiming her weapon at the female.
"I am the Warrior of Forest, I've seen that you are a technical genius, and is more than capable of quickly learning how to operate advanced alien technology." Said the Forest Warrior to Pidge and summing a spear in her head. "However you seem to focus on technology too much, that you seem to lack the understanding of nature, so if you want your Lion to be free, you must fight me."
"Okay then, let's see what you got!" Said Pidge getting ready to fight.
'Pidge be careful, I don't think it might be easy.' Said Green looking concerned for her Paladin.
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing." Said Pidge to her Lion.
Suddenly Pidge began to charge at the Forest Warrior to strike, but she swift quickly as she summoned a spear and try to strike at Pidge, but was able to dodge it before it hit her. Suddenly the Forest Warrior began to disappear through the trees, and suddenly Pidge began to fear what will happen to her.
Meanwhile, Shiro and the Black Lion were walking up their own mountain path, and unlike the other Paladins and Lions, they hadn't seen any enemies since their time on the bridge, all was quiet. Suddenly Shiro paused as he once again caught sight of the wind-like female standing before him. She was standing at a bend in the road, staring back at Shiro and the Black Lion with an faceless expression.
"What is it?" Asked Shiro trying to decipher what it meant. "What is your lesson?"
Suddenly the wind-like female suddenly flow away from them, so Shiro tried to follow her with the Black Lion following him. After a few seconds later, Shiro and Black both found themselves on top of the mountain as there were some clouds swirling around on top of them.
"Where is she?" Asked Shiro looking around for the female.
'I don't know, but I'm sure. . .' Said Black about to continue till he realizes that he couldn't move. 'Shiro, I can't move!'
Shiro look back to his Lion to see that the Black Lion is all chained up, so he tried to free his Lion, but nothing happened. Suddenly the wind blow through him, Shiro turn to see the wind-like female again, but the wind twirl around her and she's now in her true form.
She has dark violet hair flowing with the wind, pale skin, and dark violet eyes, she wears a armor that consists of the color purple. There are singular wing symbols that can be seen at the top of her chest, and on her sleeves. She also wears a purple and white skirt, with white leggings and purple boots.
"The lesson you need to learn is how to let go of your fears." Said the wind-like female.
Shiro paled a bit from the moment the women standing behind him turn into her true form, and she summon two tessen in both her hands. Then Shiro quickly got back on his feet and gets ready to fight as his prosthetic arm is charged up.
"Who are you?!" Asked Shiro getting ready to fight.
"I am the Warrior of Wind, I've seen how you fought those Galra Sentries I summoned with my illusion spell." Said the Wind Warrior looking at Shiro.
"You were the one who summon those Galra Sentries to fight us?" Asked Shiro looking at the female with a shock look.
"I have, I seen that you are a born leader, naturally adept at calmly commanding your team." Said the Wind Warrior as Shiro held his prosthetic arm in position. "However you seem to have Post-traumatic stress disorder when the Galra capture you and your crew, and how they took your arm."
The anger that those memories brought out overcame the fear Shiro had, as he hated to be reminded how his crew was captured, how he had to fight in the gladiator ring, and how the druids took his arm away from him. So he tried to attack the Wind Warrior, but in a blink of an eye, she vanished out of sight, and Shiro looked around for his opponent, and saw her appearing behind him.
"Which is why I'm here right now, if you want your Lion to be free, you must first fight me." Said the Wind Warrior as she throws one of her tessens to Shiro.
Acting quickly, Shiro managed to duck and roll to get some distance between him and the Wind Warrior before one of her fans was able to strike at him. But as he looked back at the female, Shiro got the uneasy feeling that this fight had only just begun. Still, he pushed himself back to his feet, and readied his arm.
Pidge screamed as she once again dodged a swipe from the Forest Warriors doe at. She tried to use a tree as a springboard and get away from the female warrior, but somehow the Forest Warrior caught her foot with her hand, and flung the Green Paladin through the trees and sent her sprawling on the ground.
The second Pidge was back on her feet, he had to raise her arrow-shaped blade in defense as the Forest Warrior's spear once again made a swipe for her.
"This is getting way past ridiculous!" Shouted Pidge as she grappled with the Forest Warrior, trying to figure a way out of this mess. "Can't you you seize fighting for one minute so I can think!"
But the Forest Warrior simply stares at Pidge, and lunged at her once again. Pidge ducked to avoid the attack, and when she looked up again, he realized that Forest Warrior had once again vanished into the fog. She gulped as she realized that having Forest Warrior where she couldn't see her was a thousand times worse than when she could.
Pidge kept her eyes wide open as she scanned the fog, searching desperately for her opponent, but the Forest Warrior remained out of sight. Just then, Pidge saw a flash out of the corner of her eyes, and he turned to see stroke marks were now etched into the bark of one of the trees, but the creator of the marks were nowhere in sight.
"You are very intelligent Green Paladin and you build many great technologies, but yet you seem to focus way too much on technology rather than your own humanity." Said the Forest Warrior's voice, echoing through the trees and sounding as it was coming from several directions at once. "You focus is always on your father and brother when the Galra took them away from you, and because your main focus was on that, you almost put your team in jeopardy when you almost left them, leaving your Lion without a Paladin."
Pidge winced a bit as the examples of what the Forest Warrior was talking about came to mind, and she was right. When Sendak did invade the Castle of Lions, instead of helping her teammates, she almost did leave the team, and it almost cost Lance's life and Voltron in the position of Zarkon. Taking advantage of Pidge's reminiscence, the Forest Warrior shot out of the trees and plowed into Pidge, sending her hurtling through the air, and crashing into another tree.
"How can you except to save your father and brother, when you almost let your team in danger?" Asked the Forest Warrior as vanishing into the fog once again.
Pidge winced as she forced himself back to his feet. What good had come from her, then answer hit her harder than the Forest Warrior had.
She was the one who found out that the Galaxy Garrison lied that the Kerberos mission was a failure, she was able to hack into the Garrison to get in and disguise herself so she won't be recognized, she, Lance, and Hunk help Keith get Shiro out of Garrison custody when he came back to earth, was able to create a gadget that help find the Blue Lion, and she was able to help get the Castle system down before Sendak can take it to the Galra Empire.
"Okay, Pidge, remember what Green says. . ." Whispered Pidge to herself, and tried to get her act together. "Be still and calm like the forest."
As Pidge calms her breath and concentrates, all the sounds of the forest became clear to her, and to jet surprise, the forest wasn't nearly as silent as she thought. She could hear the wind through the trees, and the branches creaking as they swayed. She could hear the sound of the dew dripping off the leaves onto the forest floor as clear as day, and it was amazing.
Except there was one place where the dew wasn't dripping onto the ground. From the sound of things, it was dripping onto something else. . . Like hair. Just then, the Forest Warrior leapt from her hiding place in the trees and dove at Pidge with her spear ready to strike. But before her blow could land, Pidge dodged seamlessly to the left, without even bothering to open her eyes or break her concentration.
The Forest Warrior was shocked, but she attacked again and again, each time yielding a similar result. Then Pidge's eyes snapped open, and with a battle cry, she whipped around and drove her arrow-shaped blade to the Forest Warrior's face.
With her opponent nearly dodging her weapon, Pidge see's the opportunity, and grabs the Forest Warriors spear and flip her over with it, cause the female to fall to the ground and Pidge points the spear to the Forest Warrior.
At first the Forest Warrior was shock, as Pidge stand her ground and held the spear close to her, but soon the Forest Warrior stayed calm as she stand on her feet and look at Pidge with a soft look in her face.
"Katie Holt, you are intelligent, constantly growing and sharing with others, you never stop absorbing more, you're beautiful like a blooming rose, but you can also be dangerous like the thorns on the rose when they touch you." Said the Forest Warrior softly to Pidge. "For that, you are granted with the magic element of Nature."
Suddenly the Forest Warrior suddenly disappeared in a bright green smoke, and her spear began glowing around Pidge as she felt something magical inside her, and the glow stop shocking Pidge. But Pidge heaved a sigh of relief once the fight is over, only to blink in surprise as she realized the fog around her was beginning to clear.
'PIDGE!' Said a familiar female voice.
Pidge turn to see the Green Lion all free after the battle, and she ran up to her and hug her Lion, happy that it was over.
With a heave, Hunk blasted his cannon towards the Earth Warrior, then he glanced up to see if that he shot her, only for the Earth Warrior to fly up past him, and land on the path behind Hunk.
The Yellow Paladin wheeled around, and brought up his cannon to block Earth Warrior's coming attack, and the female warrior held her hammer in position, seeing the frightened expression on Hunk's face, the Earth Warrior wrenched the cannon away from Hunk, and swung her hammer at Hunk's head.
Hunk yelped and ducked, but in doing so he fell off the path, and began tumbling down the steep mountainside before finally crashing onto another ledge jutting out of the rocks and Hunk groaned in pain.
"You are strong Yellow Paladin, and your heart is always in the right." Said the Earth Warrior. "However your fear gets the better if you and you seem to lack in focus when you think about food."
Hunk winced at her words. It was true, he has high intelligence he'd always defined himself by when it comes to fixes engines and making technology. However he gets scared easily whether he's in a battle simulator or when he only thinks about food.
Suddenly Hunk's eyes snapped open as he once again heard the sound of something smashing against the rock wall, and sending more boulders crumbling down towards him. He looked up to see more boulders flying at him than he had ever hoped to see in his life, and with a scream he ducked his head, and could do nothing more than pray he would not be crushed.
Finally, the rumbling stopped, and Hunk opened his eyes to see that the entire mountainside had crumbled away, leaving only the small platform he'd been cowering on jutting out from the rock face. As he looked around, he caught sight of the Earth Warrior in front of him from what was left of the mountain path.
Seeing that the female warrior was about to attack once again, Hunk cringed and looked desperately for an escape, but saw none. Till his eyes then narrowed in determination.
"No, I gotta stand my ground." Muttered Hunk to himself as he stand still.
He could do this. Sure, he can be scared easily, but he knew he can be brave too. There was more to him then what people think of him. He is the Yellow Paladin. He pilots the Yellow Lion of Voltron. He promised the girl starts to like to come back to her home planet to save her when the Galra made her home into a mining colony. He can't fail, he could do this.
Then Hunk turned to face the Earth Warrior head on. He then brought up his hands to block Earth Warrior hammer as the female leapt at him, and Hunk strained to hold back the females grip.
The Earth Warrior pressed against Hunk's hands with her hammer, trying to over power the teenager. But Donnie remained silent, and remembered his Lions words.
'Be strong, like the mountain.' Said Yellow's voice in his head.
Then Hunk quickly shifted his feet, and with a grunt of exertion, he threw the Earth Warrior's over his head, and onto the platform of the mountain. The Earth Warrior grunt and looks up to see Hunk holding her hammer up, like he's ready to strike, and keeping calm.
The Earth Warrior was shocked, but she stayed calm as she stand on her feet and look at Hunk with a soft look in her face.
"Hunk Garret, you're grounded, a foundation for all, providing shelter, and keep everything steady and balanced, but you're also strong and hard to hit without getting hurt." Said the Earth Warrior softly to Hunk. "For that, you are granted with the magic element of Earth."
Suddenly the Earth Warrior suddenly disappeared in a bright yellow smoke, and her hammer began glowing around Hunk as he felt something magical inside him, and the glow stop shocking Hunk.
But Hunk smile that he was able to fight the female warrior and defeat her, then the sun once again breaking through the clouds, clearing everything.
'HUNK!' Said a familiar male voice.
Hunk turn to see the Yellow Lion all free after the battle, and he ran up to his Lion and hug him.
For once Keith was almost this close into losing his temper, as he got up on his feet. Then the Fire Warrior had managed to tackled him back into the ground, he began keeping him pinned to the bottom, and Keith couldn't break free of her no matter how hard he struggled.
But then, suddenly the Fire Warrior released him, and allowed Keith to get up. Only to for the Fire Warrior slam into him and Keith began crashing onto the rocky cave ground. Groaning as he slammed into a cave wall, Keith slowly pushed himself back to his feet.
Then suddenly Keith felt his temper flare up, but he forced himself to take a deep breath. He knew loosing his cool right now wouldn't help things. It would only give the female warrior another opportunity to drag him down again. No, loosing his temper would only end up with him hurting himself, and that would do no good to anyone. Remember what Shiro have told him, he took a deep breath and close his eyes.
"Patient yields focus." Muttered Keith to himself as he fought to keep his anger under control. "Red's right, I need to concentrate, and focus my anger."
Keith could sense Fishface rising up out of the water, but he kept his focus on his emotions, refining it into a controllable single point.
"Patience yields focus. . ." Muttered Keith as he ready's his sword.
The the Fire Warrior began moving to attack Keith once again. But Keith remained silent as he turned to face the Fire Warrior, his face us a mask of controlled rage. Then with a yell, Keith ran at his opponent, taking Fishface completely by surprise.
He hooked his sword under the Fire Warrior's sword, and held him dangling over the Fire Warrior. Then Keith slashed his sword towards the Fire Warriors sword, causing the female warrior to fall to the ground and she look up to see Keith with her sword and points the sword close to her face. The Fire Warrior was shocked at first, but she stayed calm as she stand on her feet and look at Keith with a soft look in her face.
"Keith Kogane, your fiery, passionate, warm and unpredictable as flames, yet also burning to the touch, beautiful and awe inspiring to look at, but dangerous to get too close to." Said the Fire Warrior softly to Keith. "For that, you are granted with the magic element of Fire."
Suddenly the Fire Warrior suddenly disappeared in a bright red smoke, and her sword began glowing around Keith as he felt something magical inside him, and the glow stop shocking Keith.
'KEITH!' Said a familiar male voice.
Keith turn to see the Red Lion free from the chains and he run up to his Lion as he give him a hug, relief that the Red Lion is okay. Just then, the flames in the cave all went out, and a rumbling shook the ground as a hole appeared in one of the rock walls, allowing sunlight to stream in on Keith's victorious grin.
Lana once again found herself getting thrown into the river, and she for one, was getting very sick of it. Then the Warrior of Water reared up over Lana, as she twirl her sword whip and ready's her stance.
"You have many confidence inside you, Blue Paladin." Said the Water Warrior looking at Lance. "Yet you are a bit cocky and impulsive, which is why you barely understand your position on the team."
Lana snarled at the Water Warrior, however she knows that she's right. Even if she can fight her, she still question whether she is good enough to pilot the Blue Lion. Even if she did enter the Galaxy Garrison and earn the Fighter Class position after Keith got expelled, she still wasn't sure if she's good enough to earn them.
Glancing down at the water beneath her feet, her eyes widened as he got an idea. Maybe not all the accomplishments she gotten were not for nothing. She work hard enough to get into those positions, and the Blue Lion chose her for a reason, so she can't give up.
"Flexible. . . Grace. . ." Whispered Lana to herself as she watched the water flow by her.
Just then, the Water Warrior wrapped her sword whip around Lana's torso, and yanked her closer to her.
"Give up?" Asked the Water Warrior leaning into Lana's personal space.
"I'm just getting warmed up." Said Lana returning a smirk.
Then, before the Water Warrior could react, Lana thrust her head forwards, and head-butted the water female right in her nose. The Water Warrior released her as she held her nose, and before she could recover, Lana threw some snow at her face blinding her.
The Water Warrior wiped the snow off her face, expecting Lana to have used the distraction to vanish. Instead, she was caught off guard to see Lana had only moved even closer, and took advantage of her surprise to swing kick the female warrior right in her face, causing her to walk backwards and held her bruised face, and dropping her sword.
"Move swiftly like the river." Said Lana giving out a victorious grin.
Then Lana ran at the Water Warrior again. Too caught off guard to react, Lana looped the sword whip around her waist, and spin her with the sword as Lana pulls the sword whip tightly. Falling into the shallow stream gasping, the Water Warrior stared up to look at Lana, who points her sword at her, and look at her with an impassive expression.
"I may not know my position in the team, but I'll always be loyal and do anything to protect them." Said Lana vowing to her.
The Water Warrior was shock, as Lana stand her ground, but soon the she stayed calm as she stand on her feet and look at Lana with a soft look in her face.
"Lana McClain, you are calm, graceful, nurturing and soothing as the water, yet you're strong like the stormy waves, soft and gentle as freshly fallen snow, but also hard and piercing as ice." Said the Water Warrior softly to Lana. "For that, you are granted with the magic element of Water, you are so much like your grandmother, Moana."
Suddenly the Water Warrior suddenly disappeared in a bright blue smoke, and her sword whip began glowing around Lana as she felt something magical inside her, unknown to her, her amulet began glowing as well. Then the glowing stop shocking Lana, but sigh of relief once the fight is over.
'LANA!' Said a familiar female voice.
Lana turn to see the Blue Lion all free after the battle, and she ran up to her and hug her Lion, happy that it was over. However Lana blinked in surprise that the Water Warrior mentioned her grandmother's name. Then the sun poked through the clouds, and scattered the fog, bringing her back to the present.
Shiro had no idea how long he and and the Wind Warrior had been fighting now, but they were now reaching the tallest peak of the mountain. The air was filled with nothing but fog, but the sound of the of them fighting was heard.
Shiro had long since become accustomed to ignoring the painful memories of being the Galra Empire's prisoner as he tried again and again to land a blow on the Wind Warrior. But no matter what he did, he kept getting pushed back farther and farther up the peak.
Shiro tried to use his higher ground to help him land a jumping blow with his prosthetic arm, but with a deft twist of it, the Wind Warrior managed to block Shiro with her tessens, and send him crashing to the ground in a heap.
The Wind Warrior began stalking towards him once again with a emotionless gleam in her eye. At the sight of his challenger, Shiro paled and scrambled to get some distance between him and the Wind Warrior.
"You show the potential of a true leader." Said the Wind Warrior to Shiro. "Yet you still let your fears get to you."
Shiro narrowed his eyes in anger as he heard the Wind Warrior approach. Gripping his fist, he tried to spin around and punch the female warrior, but the Wind Warrior was too quick for him. The female fighter caught him in midair, and held him by the front of his prosthetic arm with one hand, keeping him from punching her, then the Wind Warrior was forced to let go of Shiro's arm and he fell to the ground.
Then with a series of brutal blows, the Wind Warrior kicked Shifu hard enough to send him skidding the rest of the way up the peak, the Black Paladin slid to a stop at the upper most part of the mountain, groaning in pain. A bolt of lightning split the sky as Shiro winced in defeat.
"She's right." Muttered Shiro to himself in resignation. "My PTSD is going to keep holding me back. I can't win this."
However a soft wind blew through Shiro as he began to hear voices with the air, suddenly Shiro began to calm down as he hears the voices, and some of them were his Lion's voice.
'Remember Shiro, you mind is like power, as the wind helps you begin a new life, let your wisdom guide you.' Said Black's voice through Shiro's head.
Shiro have soon realized that his Lion is right, he needs to let his wisdom guide him to the right path to victory, and then he got up from his feet. Just then, a roll of thunder made him wince as it seemed to sound right in his ear. When he opened his eyes again, the Wind Warrior floating above him, looking down at Shiro. Shiro realizes that he had been his own fears and self-doubts holding him back, not his body. But he couldn't let that hold him down anymore. Not if he wanted to be the leader his team needed to survive.
"Let's see what you have left, Black Paladin." Said the Wind Warrior drawing her tessens to him.
"I agree." Said Shiro seriously.
The Wind Warrior began charging towards Shiro's direction, only for the Black Paladin to leap out of the way at the last second, making her slam into the mountainside.
Shiro began to charge towards the female with his prosthetic arm charged up to attack, till the Wind Warrior use her tessens to create a big gust of wind at him, causing Shiro to fly up into the air and for the Wind Warrior to charge at him.
But the Black Paladin use the wind to his advantage, and used the strength of his legs to balance his stance and take his shot. Readying his prosthetic arm, he aimed straight for the Wind Warrior, and strike her right at chest creating a huge gust of winding blowing around the mountain.
The Wind Warrior slow got up from the ground as she look up to see Shiro holding her two tessens on each of his hands, looking at her with a serious look.
"I may not know what your lesson is, but I won't stop looking out for team." Said Shiro vowing as the wind blew through them. "I know will be ready to free the universe from the Galra."
The Wind Warrior was surprised by Shiro's words at first, but she stayed calm as she stand on her feet and look at Shiro with a soft look in her face.
"Takashi Shirogane, you are ever-changing, guiding, shifting, gentle as the breeze, but strong like the gales and storms, the powerful force that manipulates the air and weather." Said the Wind Warrior softly to Keith. "For that, you are granted with the magic element of Wind."
The Wind Warrior suddenly disappeared in a bright purple smoke, and her tessens began glowing around Shiro's as he felt something magical inside him, and the glow stop shocking Shiro, but he sight in relief that it's over.
'SHIRO!' Said a familiar male voice.
Shiro turn to see the Black Lion free from the chains and he run to his Lion and he give him a hug, relief that the Black Lion is okay. Then as the fog clears, Shiro realizes that the training is done, and so he believes it's time to head back to castle.
After the Paladins have left the planets and return to the Castle of Lions, they met Coran at the Main Bridge, and when the Altean Advisor asked how the training go, they all start to explained what had happened. Course Coran was shock because it never happened with the original Paladins before.
But at the same time, they feel like it was a good thing because it help them understand their Lion's elements. Coran believed it was a good idea that they went to the Karthulian System for some training. After a they discuss what happened, Shiro believes that it's best they all take a break after the whole training.
Lana was at the Castle's lounge room sitting on the couch and tried to relax after the whole Paladin training, while her Lion is at her hanger taking a nap. But for some reason, Lana can't be able to relax at all, because all she could think about was when the Water Warrior mentioned her grandmother's name.
'I don't understand, how does she know my grandmother?' Thought Lana as she looks at her amulet.
Lana's grandmother always told her and her family everything about her past, but for some reason, she couldn't help but feel like there's another part of her grandmother's past that she doesn't know. Then Keith enter the room, causing Lana to look up.
"Hey Lana." Said Keith entering the room.
"Oh, hey Keith." Said Lana looking up at Keith.
"Hunk just made us these delicious snacks for us after the whole Paladin Training." Said Keith telling Lana.
"Oh, that's cool, I'll be there in a minute." Said Lana looking back at her amulet.
However Keith notice the look on Lana's face and realize that she's worried about something, so he went to Lana and sits next to her.
"You okay?" Asked Keith looking at Lana.
"Actually to be honest, I was still think about what the Water Warrior had told me." Said Lana looking a bit concerned.
"Really, what did she say that you didn't mention to us?" Asked Keith looking curious.
"After I was somewhat granted with the magic element of water, she said that I was so much like my Grandmother Moana." Said Lana looking up a bit. "It was like she knows my grandmother."
"What, how is that possible?" Asked Keith looking confused.
"I don't know, but now I'm starting to feel like maybe there's another part of my grandma I don't know about." Said Lana looking at her amulet. "Like I'm missing a part of myself."
Keith can see that confused and concerned look on Lana's face like she feels that there're some parts in her family she doesn't know, realizing he's not good with feelings but seeing how Lana is upset, he puts his hand on Lana's hand, causing Lana to look at Keith.
"Look Lana, I may not know what happened when you fought that female warrior, but she said that because you brought up your grandmother because you have something special she had." Said Keith looking at Lana. "You might have something in you that's great like your grandma, and I know she might be proud of you right now."
Lana was so shock how Keith said that to her, which is new because Keith Kogane never usually say nice things, but it was still kinda nice to hear, and she smile at him.
"Thanks Keith, I need that." Said Lana smiling at Keith.
"Your welcome." Said Keith blushing a bit.
"Let's go meet the others now, I'm pretty sure Hunk will still offer us his snacks he made." Said Lana getting up from the couch.
"Okay." Said Keith getting up from the couch.
So Lana and Keith both start to head towards to the kitchen for refreshments, as they go, Keith still blush at how Lana smile at him, and he somehow had that weird feeling inside him that he doesn't know what it is, but little does he know is that he'll soon figure out what it means and hope he'll be brave enough to tell Lana how he feels.
