The four girls were stunned at the size of this space station they were on. During the walk from the prison, Daniels told them countless amazing stories of human history, alien history, astronomy… It seemed like this world would never end. By the time the turbolift stopped at the Promenade, the four were indeed getting quite hungry.

"How long until we eat?" asked Usagi.

"Not very long," replied Daniels. "The restaurant is right over there."

He pointed to an area (not really a building, because it had no walls) were there were tables and chairs. Oddly, there was no one there. No staff, no customers. And since there was no staff, who would serve them? Daniels, however, was not deterred. Once the four of them were seated, he walked over to a row of machines. Each one had a small alcove in it. "Scrambled eggs, pancakes, and syrup," he said to no one in particular. There was a burst of light in one of the alcoves. Usagi looked away for only a moment, but when she reopened her eyes Daniels was standing there with a plate of scrambled eggs, pancakes, and syrup, just as he… ordered? She didn't understand. Daniels turned towards them.

"Now it's your turn. Go over to the replicators, and say the name of whatever it is you want to eat." The four just stood there, confused. "Go on," continued Daniels. "You said you were hungry."

Ami was first over to the replicators, as Daniels called them. She thought for a moment. "Four large pancakes with butter and honey. And milk," she added.

No food appeared. Instead, an automated voice said, Please specify type of milk.

"Uh… cow's milk?"

Ami heard a beeping noise, and then there was a burst of light from inside the alcove. A moment later, the light was gone and sitting there was exactly what she ordered. She picked up her lunch and walked back over to Daniels. As the other three watched, Ami took a bite out of one of the pancakes. Her eyes lit up.

"Oh! Oh, this is exquisite!"

As Ami began to dig in, the other three girls walked to the replicators and made their orders. Soon thereafter the four of them were sitting with Daniels, all enjoying some very good food.

Rei finished first. "What should I do with the dishes?" she asked Daniels.

"Just take them back to the replicators. Set them down in the niche and the computer will do the rest."

So Rei did so. There was another flash of light, and her dirty dishes were gone.

Suddenly, they heard a scream from down the street. The four girls instantly tensed up. They looked at each other, and before Daniels could stop them, they ran off towards the source of the scream.

The four girls found an alien (according to Daniels, he was Bajoran, because of the ridges on his nose) cowering against a wall. He had a bag with him, lying empty on the floor. Makoto bent down so her eyes were even with his.

"What happened?"

"This Lethean… mugged me… took everything I had."

"What does the Lethean look like?" The Bajoran gave them a description. "Do you know in which direction he escaped to?" He pointed down the road, past a sign that said "Quark's." Rei saw a man down the street, carrying a bulging sack over his shoulder. They ran after him. He was rather portly, and his legs were shorter than theirs were, so they quickly caught up to him. Usagi stepped in front of him.

"Hey, what's this all about?" This was indeed the man who had robbed that Bajoran.

"You know exactly what this is about."

The Lethean growled. "Get out of my way." Usagi stepped in front of him again. He stopped and took a swing at Usagi. She darted quickly out of the way. She backed up, towards the other three girls, while the Lethean thief pulled a knife.

By this point, Daniels had finally caught up to the four. He tapped his badge. "Daniels to Kira. We've got a fight in the Promenade, section four. Security—"

Before Daniels could finish his sentence, the four girls shouted something in unison that made no sense to him.

"Moon Prism Power, make up!"

The four were suddenly enveloped in a field of shimmering, rainbow-colored energy. The thief took a step back. Just as suddenly, the energy field vanished, revealing the four girls, but they were dressed completely differently. While as before they were wearing standard Earth twentieth-century street clothes, now they were wearing some kind of uniform. White shirt, brightly colored dress (rather short), a large bow on the chest matching the color of the dress, and a jeweled metallic band on the forehead. Daniels just stared. Clearly these girls possessed some kind of technology here he wasn't aware of, but he had never seen anything remotely like this, anywhere in the galaxy — and he had traveled far. The Lethean growled.

"Who the hell are you?"

"I'm Sailor Moon!" shouted Usagi. The other three girls added in. "Sailor Mercury! Sailor Mars! Sailor Jupiter!" The Lethean looked warily at the four. He was just as shocked as Daniels was. Usagi pointed a wand at him.

"Surrender, now!"

"You'll think I'll surrender to the likes of you? Some young girls in a frilly costume? Never!"

And then the four of them attacked.
