Cecile and Himawari walk into a coffee shop near their house and the young artist immediately spots the man who is sitting near the window. Her aunt called him yesterday and arranged a meetup, saying that there's no way she's gonna let her cute little niece go and talk to a stranger alone. The man's face beams up in excitement when he sees them as he waves his hand to get their attention. The pair walk up to the table and sit down on the opposite side, the man smiles kindly and asks the waiter to come to get the order.

Cecile looks at him, observing. Himawari has told her the story and although she hates to admit it, the man in front of them seems to be a nice guy and quite a gentleman. He doesn't jump into the story immediately and instead, introduces himself to them.

Lukka Couffaine, a CEO at the Evergreen Record Label, a man with a lot of power in the music industry. The name Lukka Couffaine might not ring a bell to anyone as he usually goes by his stage name, Slade. When hearing this, Himawari instantly understands the reason behind the Couffaine siblings' musical talent, not only Mrs. Couffaine is a skillful guitarist, Mr. Couffaine himself is the man behind the great musical works.

"Let's skip the introduction, we all know the reason why we're here…" Cecile speaks up "And Mr. Couffaine, I'm eager to know the reason why you turn Anarka's life into a living hell."

Mr. Couffaine looks at her a bit, a pang of guilt hit him as he lowers his head, sheepishly scratching the back of his neck. Himawari holds her aunt's arm, hoping that she's not that eager to through him out of the chair for making Mrs. Couffaine sad. She knows her aunt quite well and she knows that if Cecile thinks that this man's reasons aren't rational, the young woman will destroy him immediately.

"Tell me, Mr. Couffaine. Why did you leave?"

"Auntie…"

The man knows that there's no reason to justify his actions for leaving without saying any words, for getting involved in an affair that he never wanted in the first place. Lukka Couffaine left when his son was only 7 and Juleka was 5, he left his children at such a young age to free himself from all the responsibility that a man needs to take to support the family. The pressure of being a man and the only breadwinner had broken him, forcing Lukka to think of ways to escape reality. He sought alcohol and women, two things that he had promised Anarka that he would never touch.

That night when Luka confronted him for 'kissing another woman', he was shocked. Instead of thinking carefully, he lashed out at his partner, saying things that a woman should never hear from a man that she loves. Instead of taking responsibility, he pushed the blame onto Anarka, claiming that it's her fault for poisoning the mind of their children.

Luka, despite being a little kid, understood the situation so well that he stood up and protected his mother from all the screaming and shouting of the older man. Seeing his beloved son 'betrayed' him like that, anger took over his mind and before he even knew it, Mr. Couffaine had hit Anarka. The impact lingered on his knuckles as he stood there, dead stop as he saw blood coming out of the corner of her lips. His eyes opened widely, his breaths became ragged, his mouth dried as he listened to Juleka's sobbing and Luka's screaming at how bad of a person he was. Unable to face Anarka, he turned around and fled.

He ran away…

He left without saying a word…

Anarka tried to call him but her voice fell on deaf ears as he ran away from the cramped apartment. He was afraid, he didn't know how to face his beloved partner after the incident and he felt embarrassed to call himself a father.

Lukka crashed at his so-called lover's house, despite feeling guilty about what happened, he decided to ignore it and stayed with that woman. However, he only stayed there for a couple of weeks before fleed again to somewhere else, realizing that he needed a moment of peace rather than throwing himself into partying and drinking. He quit his job as Jagged Stone's guitarist and traveled around France, working as many jobs as possible to fuel up his wallet then quit without saying a word. His life became miserable as there were nights when he had nowhere to stay and no friends to share his problem with.

When things became unbearable for Lukka Couffaine, there was a light at the end of the tunnel as a man stepped in and offer him a place to stay and a chance to redo his life.

"Hah, at least you have someone there to help you." Cecile scoffs "Anarka had to deal with everything by herself!"

"Auntie, let him finish his story…"

That man was a friend of Jagged Stone and had had a chance to see him perform in one of the rockstar's concerts. He was very surprised when he spotted Lukka Couffaine in such a miserable state, telling him that he never thought that the great guitarist could end up like this.

Accepting the 2nd chance with gratitude, Lukka forced himself to face all obstacles and told himself that he would not return back to his family if he was unable to succeed. Years after years of playing as a backup guitarist composing his own songs to becoming a CEO of a record label, Mr. Couffaine realized that 10 years had gone by since the day he left his family. After establishing himself as a powerful figure in the music industry, Lukka began to search for his family. He hired people to bring him the information about Anarka, Luka and Juleka as he waited patiently for a day that he could show up and apologized for everything but that didn't turn out so well.

Anarka was very distressed when she saw him. Her beautiful sky-blue eyes widen in horror as if she just saw a ghost.

Juleka was scared, she shook her head, thinking that her mind was playing tricks with her.

And Luka… He had underestimated his son's reaction. Luka was angry, he was furious to the point that he refused to look at him, pushed his father away and in a moment of anger, hit him…

"Mr. Couffaine…"

"I know that my sin can never be forgiven, Luka and everyone else have every right to be angry at me…"

"If you know that, why did you even bother to return?" slamming her hand on the table, Cecile raises her voice "Did you know how much Anarka had gone through? She has gone through major depression to the point that she even wanted to finish everything just because she felt responsible for anything that had happened in her life that wasn't even her fault!"

Mr. Couffaine lowers his head in shame, not knowing how to respond. Anarka, the love of his life, he knows that she has gone through therapies all these years just to get back to normal life but…

Himawari looks at him, although he is known for being the most influential figure in the music industry, Mr. Couffaine is just a broken man who seeks forgiveness from his loved ones. As much as she hates him for doing such things to his own family, it would also break her heart if he's unable to find peace and love again.

Has she been too romantic, thinking that everything should be resolved in the most peaceful way possible?

Has she been too idealistic and impractical for thinking that Mr. Couffaine deserves forgiveness from his family after everything he has done?

"Please, I…I know that I'm asking too much but can you please give this to Anarka and the kids?"

Pulling out 3 letters, he gives them to Himawari and Cecile.

"Luka hates me and I don't want to fuel the hate, but I also want to apologize for everything that I have done…"

She looks at the letters, not knowing what to do. She is told to stay away from this matter but the man in front of her is pleading for their help, she can't just sit there and ignore it. Looking at her aunt, Cecile seems to be very skeptical about the letters but the woman accepts them anyway. For her, Anarka's happiness is the most priority and if she knows anything, her friend's love for this man has never seemed to die down as time goes by. As much as she hates to admit that he doesn't deserve her, he owes Anarka an apology.

"My only business with you is to deliver these letters, after that, you are on your own! Whether Anarka forgives you or not, it's none of our problems."

With that, Cecile stands up and pulls her niece with her. Himawari stumbles on her feet as she is dragged by the young woman to get out of the coffee shop. As she turns around to look at the man one last time, she catches a glimpse of hope in those brown orbs as he sits there and stares at them.

However, what the young artist doesn't know is that someone has watched them from afar. The aqua orbs stare at the whole scene in confusion, hands gripping tightly as the knuckles turn white. Anger and disappointment flash through his eyes as Luka grits his teeth, unable to believe that the person he trusts the most is now sided with that man…

That night, Himawari calls her parents. She wants their advice on how to do this as the girl tells them what happened.

"Well, that is quite difficult…"

Her father comments on the matter. While her mother advises her to help them as much as she can, the man on the other hand believes that she should not get involved. This takes her by surprise because her father has taught her to never decline someone when they need help and yet, in this situation, he wants her to stay away from it.

"Himawari, I understand that you want to help them but this is their family matter, outsiders like me and you are unable to understand the deep roots of the problem that they are facing. The more you invest in this matter, it'll only backfire and you will regret participating in the first place."

"But father… I…"

"Sweet one, you have always been so kind to everyone. But there is a limit to everything and that includes your kindness. Don't let people take advantage of it because you will hurt yourself in the end."

Himawari sighs, her father's words of wisdom do make a point but…

If there's one chance that she can at least ease the tension between Mr. Couffaine and his family, she will do it. Luka is a very mature boy, she knows that he will understand her decision as well as his dad's apology.

"I know that look on your face, Himawari."

"I… I can't just ignore it, father…" she lowers her head "He even gave us the letters so we can give them to his family…"

"Well then, my only advice for you is to give them the letter and not give any comment. Himawari, as much as you want to help and erase the misunderstanding, you have no right to influence their decisions with your words. Ultimately, it's them who will give the final call."

The young artist nods her head in agreement. Just like Cecile has said, their job is to give these letters to them, the rest of the situation and how they want to deal with it are on them. Even if she sugar-coated Juleka and Luka with her words of advice, Himawari still needs to consider the fact that she has nothing to do with it other than being the 'delivery girl'.

Another thing to keep in mind is Anarka's feelings, the raven head can not dismiss the negative effect of Mr. Couffaine's actions and just make it seems like there's a light at the end of every tunnel. In the end, it's the Couffaine family matter that only the members of this household can untangle the problem.

She lays back on the bed, thinking about how she's going to give these letters to everyone. Cecile has decided it's best if she is the one who talks with Anarka about the letter but Himawari believes that it's also her responsibility to give them to the Couffaine siblings. She doesn't want to lie to Luka or Juleka about the fact that she has privately met their father without telling them, especially Luka.

The raven head sighs, thinking about how angry the guitarist might be if he knows about this. He did tell her to stay away from it but she's just too stubborn to listen. Despite being a gentle soul, Himawari has the determination to bridge the relationship between Luka and his father after knowing how much the older boy loves him. There's a reason behind Luka's strong and negative reactions when he sees his father, despite the hatred in his aqua eyes, the guitarist can't hide away the small affection that he has for his father. If he despite the other man that much then there's no reason for him to carry his father's guitar so close to him like that.

Anarka had mentioned this small detail to her a few days ago and the woman even commented on how similar they are. From his facial feature to his calm and collected nature to his talent and love for music, Luka has grown up to be the replica of his father's image, the only difference is his eye color. The more Mrs. Couffaine looks at her son, the more she realizes how much alike they are.

Himawari sighs again, her heart pounds as she thinks about Luka's reaction when he sees the letter.

Will he be happy?

Will he be sad?

Or will he be angry?

She is still very stunned at Luka when he snapped at her for 'interfering' with his business as if she had no right to do it. He has a point, she's just an outsider who witnesses the scene. However, her morals and Juleka's pleadings did not allow her to stand there and do nothing. If she didn't speak up, there was a chance that he would engage in the conversation more violently and she didn't want anything like that to happen.

"Oh dear…"

Just thinking about tomorrow has stressed her to the point that she needs medication to stop the headache that she is having. Himawari just wishes for the best, that Luka will understand her action and will at least, give his father a chance to talk about it. She doesn't expect him to forgive the man immediately because there are matters that take days, months and even years to resolve.

"I hope that everything will turn out to be okay tomorrow…"
