Set in present day-Catherine gets a mysterious call from a local hospital summoning her to the bedside of a patient. What she finds is something she's convinced remained frozen in time. What evidence will unfold may be more sinister than accidental. At the very least it will turn her world upside down.

She closed the door behind her and moved into the silent house. She looked around the empty space, her eyes glancing over the framed butterflies that littered every wall. Upon reading those words in the note left for him on the back of an old photograph, Grissom instantly realized that the life he'd been living for fifteen years was about to come to an end. The illness of an old friend bring Sara and Grissom back to Vegas, a sad but peaceful time for all. The children from "One More Grissom" and the "Sequel" appear in the story. This is our 100th story on fanfiction so we decided to make it a bit different. Title comes from Greek mythology.

Grissom and Sara thought they had left Vegas behind once and for all. But, it seems a new killer on the scene wants to spoil that with some very unnerving blasts from the past that will thrust them into a nightmare they really don't want to be a part of. Kind of set during CSI Vegas season 2 or at least what would be that time frame.

Post-"The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp" (08x04). The conversation that takes place at home after shift, as Sara and Grissom try to make their way to the good times in bed.
