The stolen, lost, lonely innocent being was lying on a stone, among tall trees and unfamiliar surroundings. The wind continued to drive the clouds towards the small island where the child of light was born. Gusts of wind intensified, a heavy downpour began.
"A tall tree with dense foliage and lights hanging from the branches was the first thing I saw. Shining leaves hovered in the air, and small lanterns moved on the ground. Then a creature appeared and took me away from the first thing I saw. At that moment I heard a muffled majestic voice of an unknown to me. He said only one word — "Nori". Then there was water, lots of water. It got cold. The creature began to move away from me, but I saw nothing but water and its reverse side, only smoother and cleaner. The water was replaced by land with tall trees. I was carried further and further. The trees were rushing past me, and the last thing I saw was a gray surface.
It became cold, very cold and wet. I opened my eyes. Everything that surrounded me was unfamiliar, alien to me. Drops of water were beating painfully on my body, and the wind was trying to throw me off the stone on which I was. My attempts to stand on my paws failed. There was nothing left but to crawl to the edge of the stone with the help of the front paws and try to get down from it. My fingers could not stay on the wet surface of the stone, and I painfully hit the ground. Rubbing the bruised place with my paw, I felt some kind of appendage, which turned out to be my tail. There was a space under the stone in which it was possible to hide from the rain. I sat down under a rock and shivered from the cold. My body, my fur. Everything got wet. I had to snuggle closer to the stone and press my knees to me to try to warm up. Weakness bound my body. My soul was empty. My head ached from an unknown stream of knowledge. My thoughts were confused, and I wanted to go back to sleep. Closing my eyes and holding my breath, I slowly drifted off to sleep.
The same dream again. Again the same tree, leaves, creature, water and the gray surface of the stone. Among all this there was one word that was imprinted in my mind.
Through my sleep, I heard pleasant, soothing and sonorous sounds, such as birds can make. I opened my eyes a little and saw the bright colors of foliage and grass. It was light and warm. Coughing a couple of times, I decided to leave my hiding place. In front of me was a puddle of clean water, which was formed after the rain. I looked into it and saw a creature unfamiliar to me with black eyes and white luminous pupils. The creature itself glowed white, just like me. On its muzzle, above the nose, two antennae grew, going up. At their tips there was a small expansion that glowed with a bluish light, and inside there was a darker shade of moving energy. Long fur protruded under the ears, and its ears themselves were wide and short, like... "Not far from me, a red-haired creature with a white tip on its tail deftly climbed a tree..." Like this creature. I decided to touch the one who was in the water, but I didn't feel anyone. Only the circles from my paw spread across the puddle in different directions. As soon as the surface of the water became smooth, I saw this creature again with a raised three-toed paw, like mine. The idea came to me to wave to him. Our paw movements turned out to be synchronous, and then I realized that there was no one in the puddle. It's me, I'm reflected in the water.
As soon as I could see myself and my tail with a fluffy and longer fur at the end, I tried to stand on my hind legs with three fingers.
Leaning my paw on a nearby growing bush, I managed to get up on my paws. My muscles were trembling, but I resisted. Over time, the trembling in my paws disappeared, and I was able to take a few uncertain steps. There was pain in my muscles, which led to my falling to the ground. As soon as the pain receded, I managed to get up on my hind legs again and walk more confidently. It was warm, but I was overcome by weakness and inner cold. There was an emptiness in my tummy, and instinct made me stop next to another puddle. Scooping up two paws of rainwater, I tasted it. It turned out to be very tasty and warm because of the sunlight falling on it. I managed to fill the void in my stomach. The cough became more frequent.
Through the dense thickets of the forest, a clearing could be seen, to which I slowly rushed, moving my paws. I noticed that the glow coming from my fur was dimming. It became increasingly difficult to take steps, and I had to periodically look for support among the plants. The edge of the forest was already close.
Coughing a couple more times, I got out into the clearing and lay down on a flat stone. The sun's rays warmed me. The cough became more frequent, but it became easier. I do not know how long I lay in the sun, but at some point I felt something slimy in my throat. It flew out of my mouth with a cough and flew somewhere into the grass. It became much easier to breathe for me. Breathing freely and without chest pain, I enjoyed the warm sunshine after experiencing a severe cold. The sunlight warmed my soul, and my thoughts came in order.
The word Nori kept popping up in my memory. I could not understand its meaning in any way. Then more names popped up in my memory: Seir, Ori, Sein and Naru. An image of a glowing animal appeared, a little like me, and the silhouette of a tall, plump creature with dark fur and a white muzzle. "Ori" sounded in my mind. The glowing animal responded to the call and waved to the creature with dark fur. Then the memories showed me a ball floating in the air, from which a bluish glow emanated. He was next to the glowing animal and introduced himself as Sein, and he called him Ori. Approximately the same scene was with a glowing yellow ball calling itself Seir.
"Ori, the creature that looks like me is called Ori. The others also had names, so strange and... beautiful. So maybe Nori is a name... Maybe a mysterious voice called me by it? Or calling me. I like it."
New images, names, and events kept popping up in my memory. There were so many questions, but no one could answer them. There was no one like her around. Alone, all alone.
"Maybe I'll be able to remember something more over time. Maybe there is information hidden in my memory about who I am. Why do I exist in this world. And where is at least someone who looks like me and someone called Ori."
