ENDDRAGON369: Huh, Lily is an idea. Caliburn originally being meant to be female? I can't find anything on that.

clownreaper96: Sonic can use any ability he naturally has or the Chaos Emeralds let him do, but stuff like the Wisps are impossible without having a Wisp to help and I currently have no plans to introduce them in Part 1.

NotSpecialDude: Sonic's situation with Caliburn, Excalibur and Rhom is a bit weird. Rhom as far as I'm aware doesn't have any special use requirements, Caliburn is a sword that chooses a king, and Sonic IS worthy of being called a King, he just refuses the title.

Excalibur as far as I'm aware can only be wielded by 'King Arthur' (Archer and Shirou are the exceptions because of Avalon and Artoria), so Sonic can wield it if he really tries.

I may have to make proper parameters, but I'm unsure as Sonic has survived some insane stuff in just base (Not including the Archie Sonic feats) and that would equal some very high parameters. Not to mention not sure how Super Form and Chaos Energy boosts would effect it.

Romance is going to be a bit iffy as there is a species barrier, but this is also characters who are all sentient, can talk and have free will. I know some Servants will be romantically interested in Sonic, but if he ever returns those feelings I'm unsure. The only thing to say is see what comes.

Fire: Yes I've seen Archie Sonic's frankly insane feats, but if I take to much stuff from there Sonic is going to start bullying Beasts and Gods. As for Sonic's fighting style, I'm still getting used to writing him as I've never really written a kick focused fighting style so I'm sorry if Sonic seems to like punching more then kicking.

shadowfox219: Interesting selection and I can see some interesting interactions between them and Sonic.

As for spelling, sorry about that. I'm not the best writer and better at the story part then the actual writing part.

Myfunvideos: Thanks! Sonic just has so many different attacks its hard to remember them all, but I think I'm getting used to writing his techniques and fighting style more.

Scherazade is one I've had in mind, but she's being saved for the much more improved Agartha (I'm basically gonna rewrite that from the ground up, I have some big changes planned). I feel she'll have some VERY interesting interactions with our blue hero!

xmodaliyong12: Sorry, I'm trying to hold back on starting new stories. Not to mention Sonic and DxD are very opposing settings and wouldn't meld well. And I've never seen Ranma, so no chance of that ether.

Sonic had quickly ran through the abandoned high school, clearing away any skeletons he found with a quick spin dash or homing attack. He quickly brought Mashu and still unconscious Olga to a still intact classroom.

Sonic himself wasn't exhausted, the hedgehog was a stamina monster, but Mashu was starting to show signs of exhaustion. He wouldn't mind a minute to sit down ether, he had been using a lot of Chaos Energy and even if the Emerald was an unlimited source of it, his body could only channel so much without transforming into Super Sonic.

"Checked the cafeteria, most of the wood was rotten but there was some non perishable snacks". He started handing Mashu some of the snacks he'd found, mainly chocolate bars and a few other things.

"I've never had chocolate before". Mashu murmured before taking a bite, the sweet taste was a bit of a surprise to her taste buds but she still enjoyed it.

"Never had chocolate? Sheesh, next you'll tell me you've never had a chili dog!". When Mashu didn't reply, Sonic paled and looked at her in horror.

"It's not that bad senpai, but I would like to experience different food, the cafeteria of Chaldea is rather strict to produce the best health possible". She explained, causing the hedgehog to frown.

"You've never left Chaldea?". He asked and the pink haired girl froze, before nodding slowly. "Well, maybe after this whole mess is sorted, I can take you on a trip around Earth!".

Mashu gained a hopeful look, before frowning.

"I'm sorry but I… I need to focus on helping Chaldea, I can't abandon it…". She explained, causing Sonic to gain a confused expression.

"Yea, I meant AFTER we fix this mess. I'm with you to the end, I never leave a friend behind!". Sonic smirked, causing Mashu to look at him confused for a few seconds before smiling.

"Thank you, Senpai!". She thanked him, knowing Sonic would keep helping Chaldea filled her with a surge of confidence. But she let out a yawn soon after.

"Sounds like you need a nap, no worries I can keep watch. I've stayed awake for weeks before, I can stay awake for a day or two". Sonic said, Mashu looked uncertain but nodded. There were no beds or pillows, but putting a few tables together to create a pseudo-bed worked.

While Mashu rested, Sonic kept watch for a few moments before opening a window and leaping out of it onto the roof.

Sonic landed on the roof and smirked, speaking aloud.

"So, gonna come out now or are we just going to play the silent game?". He stared at a certain area of the roof, and watched as golden sparkles formed together into a blue haired man with red eyes, carrying a staff.

"Huh, so you did notice me. For an alien, you've got a pretty impressive magic sense". The man who could only be Caster spoke with his own smirk, his stance both relaxed and battle ready.

"Alien? I mean I guess from your perspective I am, but I'm Earth born and raised… if an alternate dimension Earth". Sonic replied, leaning backwards and relaxed, but his eyes stayed focused on Caster.

"Huh, never really knew that much about the different worlds and shit, everyone a weird hedgehog there?". Caster twirled his staff about, his red eyes focused on Sonic and Sonic alone.

"A couple, we've got humans there, and different animal mobians as well. So what are ya doing here Caster? You don't strike me as the murder happy type like Medusa or those Shadow Servants". The hedgehog asked while starting to walk around Caster in a circle, who kept his gaze following Sonic.

"Simple, I think we can help each other. Your trying to fix this distortion right?". He asked, with Sonic nodding causing Caster to smirk. "Well, I can take you to the heart of it, I tried fixing it myself but… Well its guard dogs are a bit to tough for me alone. Can't say I'd ever thought I'd be asking a blue hedgehog for help though".

"Humans with powers aren't exactly common back home ether and yet every one I've encountered here can do some magic hocus pocus". Sonic replied, causing Caster to let out a laugh.

"Hah! I like you Blue, names Cu Chulainn, even if it doesn't mean much to you, I bet it will cause those little ladies some surprise!". Cu smiled ferally and approached Sonic. The hedgehog smiled back and offered a handshake, the Caster accepting and gripping with a bit more force then necessary, yet neither mentioned it.

"Nice to meet ya Cu, now what can you tell me about this place?".

Romani stared at the computer, the last few hours had been anything but pleasant, he had managed to confirm two life signals in Singularity F and even who they were. The knowledge that Mashu was alive was a relief to his heart, the fact she was accompanied by Sonic was slightly stressful but he just had to believe Da Vinci's belief was correct.

"Roman, you need a break. Its been hours and you need rest". The only one still with him at this time of night was Da Vinci, who gave him a disappointed look. It wasn't that late, it was only 23:36… Okay, maybe it was a bit late.

"We've almost got a communication signal, once we've got that we can connect them to everything else and try having Mashu summon a Servant. I've detected multiple Servant signatures, they're lucky to be alive without any Servants for themselves!". He countered, Mashu was just an ordinary girl, the Demi-Servant experiment was a failure and even if some signs of it working had been detected (Ever since she first encountered Sonic, Romani noted), it wasn't showing any big effects and Mashu would still be killed by a Servant with ease.

Sonic's abilities were completely unknown, and while there was the chance he could take on a Servant with what Da Vinci had noted, what if multiple Servants attacked? What if they had some ability to instantly kill living creatures? What if some divine beast had been summoned and was wrecking havoc?

"Roman, they're fine. You need to have more faith in Mashu, she's a smart and resourceful girl. I wouldn't be surprised if she manages to fix her communicator completely by herself and get into contact with us. We barley scratched the surface of Sonic's abilities and I have the feeling he has far more to show us". Da Vinci said and put a hand on Romani's shoulder. "So, go to bed and get some rest. I'll keep an eye on Mashu and Sonic's signals and report if anything changes, alright?".

Romani sighed and nodded, he didn't want to but he was aware enough to know he was more a burden then useful at this point. His time was better spent getting some rest.

"Alright, I'll get some sleep". He got up from his chair, and with one last glance towards the computer, left to his thankfully still intact room. Surprisingly none of the living rooms had been targetted with bombs, a small mercy compared to the disaster of the many dead masters (They had activated the freeze function on the Coffins, yet many were still lost…).

He could only hope things would be better come morning.

Olga was a magus, she was experienced with the unnatural, she had seen feats a normal man could only dream of. Yet Sonic the Hedgehog had defied everything she believed in.

He was strong, she couldn't deny that now, strong enough to fight multiple Servants and win. Yet he was kind, he wasn't looking at her for anything, he wasn't looking down on her. He also had a charisma she wished she had, someone able to convince what should've been an enemy into their ally.

The fanged smirk of Cu Chulainn, the legendary child of light and hero of Ireland was far more mocking compared to the hedgehog's more light hearted smirk. He didn't even realize the monster he had recruited, or how easily Caster had given his true name away. It was impossible, yet Sonic somehow did it.

"Alright Cu, so explain the situation again for these two". Sonic requested, the Caster nodding to the request.

"Yea yea, I get it, gimme a minute!". Cu took a moment to think and then began explaining. "So from what I understand you and Blue here are trying to fix the cause of the distortion, which is caused by the fucked up Holy Grail War. It was working as usual but something went off, Saber became corrupted somehow and started fighting and defeating the other Servants, anyone she defeated became ether those Shadow Servants or like Rider, a corruption of their normal form".

"Was the corruption caused by the Holy Grail?". Mashu asked, Cu smirked as his gaze went over Mashu's… assets, but quickly stopped after a slap on the arm from Sonic.

"Not fully sure to be honest, its power was defiantly used to enhance Saber's power but whether it was the source of her corruption I have no idea". Cu grabbed a chair to sit down before continuing. "Rider, Berserker, Archer, Lancer and Assassin all got defeated and corrupted, with only Lancer and Archer becoming those… Altered things".

"Alter huh? I like it, thats there name now, Alter Servants". Sonic spun a ball he had found who knows where between his fingers. "So we just need to beat Berserker and Archer before taking Saber down then?".

"As much as I love a good fight,Berserker is a bit to much for me in this Class. Now if I had manifested as a Lancer I'd have already won this freaky war". Cu complained, thinking longingly of his trusted spear.

"Caster, who are Saber, Archer and Berserker?". Olga demanded, trying her best to hide her fear and cursing the idiot who had brought such a battle hungry Servant right to them.

"Still no idea who Archer is, just know the bastard pisses me off. He's no warrior". Cu spat, the familiar hatred for that Archer appearing. He had no idea who the man was, but he was someone Cu couldn't get along with. "As for Berserker, he's only the most legendary hero of Greece, Heracles".

You could hear a pin drop as Olga and Mashu paled, Heracles? The great hero who had completed twelve impossible labours, the strongest of the Argonauts, the most legendary hero of ancient Greece? While these two felt fear, our hedgehog hero had a very different reaction.

"Most legendary hero of Greece huh? I'll have to compare titles with him then!". Sonic smirked, drawing laughter from Cu and shock from his two human companions.

"Hah! Knew I liked you for a reason, if your confident you can take him, then getting him out of the way reduces the danger extremely. He's usually just rampaging about on his own, if we double team him we've got a good chance, especially as he's lost access to his Noble Phantasm in his current state". Cu's expression was feral, sure he wasn't in his preferred class but a chance to fight the man he was often compared to wasn't something the Child of Light would deny.

"NO! We are not hunting down Berserker! If he's happy rampaging far away from us, good riddance!". Olga denied their plan before it could even begin, their strongest fighters were both battle happy idiots! They needed to solve the Singularity, not defeat every Servant.

"I-i agree with the Director, Senpai. I know your strong but Heracles… He's one of the greatest heroes in the entire world, it would be safer to avoid him". Mashu asked far more kindly, and seeing her worried expression Sonic reluctantly nodded. It didn't sit right with him ignoring an enemy who could attack them later.

"Shame, would've been a great fight". Cu was more disappointed over losing the chance to fight a strong opponent, but even he had to admit avoiding Berserker was wiser.

"Caster, you have yet to mention Saber's identity, are you not aware of it?". Olga asked and had to fight back a flinch when Cu's full attention turned to her.

"There isn't a single Heroic Spirit who wouldn't the sword she wields". Cu stated, before finishing. "Corrupted as it is, Excalibur's light is unmistakable".

All the humans (and formerly human) had to stop when they heard shocked coughing from Sonic, who had fallen onto his butt and inhaled some dust before getting back up with a demanding expression.

"Excalibur exists here to!?". Sonic demanded, and was met with a confused expression from Cu in return.

"I'm more surprised it exists in your world". He trailed off confused, Excalibur was a weapon forged under very specific circumstances, had those circumstances also existed in Sonic's world?

"It… It's a complex story, Camelot basically existed as another dimension connected to mine. Got transported there and had to fight an illusionary King Arthur and that world's Gawain, Lancelot and Percival". Sonic explained, not willing to go into the entire story right now or the fact he was technically a king.

"That… That makes no sense! Everything you do makes no sense!". Olga almost screamed, she almost wished she was running about on her own again before remembering how close she came to death (And how Sonic hadn't hesitated to rush into combat to save her).

"Thats unbelievable Senpai! You actually defeated King Arthur and the Round Table?". Mashu asked in awe, the knights of Camelot were some of the finest in the world, so hearing Sonic had defeated an alternate reality version of them was amazing… And worrying, why had Sonic fought them? She asked her question aloud.

"Something went wrong with Excalibur's Sheathe, it got corrupted by dark magic and it corrupted that worlds King Arthur. The Round Table were just overly loyal idiots who wouldn't betray their king even when he was ordering slaughter, but I knocked some sense into those idiots". Sonic smirked, remembering when he had kicked the Shadow look-alike in the face and how the knight had shouted it was dishonourable.

"As fascinating as that story is, don't see how it helps us here unless you've got an Anti-Excalibur weapon?". Cu asked, causing Sonic to shake his head. "There goes the easy way out then, I can take on Archer but Saber is another thing, a single hit from Excalibur would take me out the fight".

"Yea, and I don't exactly have a sword capable of clashing with Excalibur right now…". Sonic trailed off, and everyone frowned. Excalibur was simply to mighty a weapon that it could turn the tide of the battle.

"Archer is serving as Saber's guard dog, while she directly guards the Grail. I can take him and leave you with Saber, but that doesn't remove the threat of Excalibur". Cu said, causing Sonic to mumble 'She?' under his breath.

"There's simply no way about it, you just can't let Excalibur hit you. You're the fastest thing alive right? A simple feat for you". Olga told Sonic, who only grinned cockily in response.

"Ya got it! Sure Saber's got the fancy sword, but she ain't ever faced anyone like me!". Sonic did a thumps up filled with confidence, with helped relax the rest of his companions. Cu nodded in approval, moral was an important part of battle and it seemed Sonic understood that perfectly.

"Alright then, I'll lead you to Saber's location and take care of Archer, while you get Saber herself". He said, everyone nodding and gathering themselves to leave.

Mashu frowned, besides helping convince Sonic not to go fight Heracles she felt useless, they now had a skilled Servant in Cu and someone far more magically talented in Olga, yet she couldn't help Senpai in any way despite him helping her so much…

She felt it, distorted and corrupted as her body and soul were, a connection was forged with something else. She doubted he noticed the connection, otherwise he would've had a reaction by now.

A presence so similar to her original self, but yet where she had felt caged, he felt free, the burden of kingship… It just wasn't there. Why? Why did this creature that feel so similar to her behave so differently? Was he not chosen by the Sword of Selection? Did he not wield the Sword of Promised Victory? Or perhaps he had lived an entirely different life, where the king was not needed.

Impossible, such a world was something she could not accept, Camelot needed a King Arthur, what would happen if it did not have one?… She did not enjoy the images her mind conjured of a destroyed Camelot.

It did not matter, it did not matter if she faced 'Another King Arthur', the only thing that mattered was preserving this Singularity, no matter who stood in her way.

But something inside her did not wish to see it, did not wish to accept it, the idea of an Arthur who had never been king, one who had rejected the mantle…

"Archer, we have a change of plans". She told her only loyal ally, the knight of red who's name she did not know yet who's loyalty would match even Bedivere's.

She would not accept an Arthur who would not become king, because if she did…

Excalibur's glow filled the cave as confused golden eyes stared at the blade.

Around two-three more chapters before we finish Fuyuki! May try combining them all into a mega chapter, we'll see how I feel when I start writing.
