"And where did you go, you stupid bird?! It was impossible to build a nest on this island?" the dark spirit reasoned angrily, following the bird with his eyes. There was no way to catch up with her.

Voices whispered in the dark spirit's head, the words of which could not be made out due to the number of sources. Among them, the most important voice sounded. The voice of the dark lord, who drowned out all other voices and called to himself all those who serve him.

The dark spirit opened his eyes and looked with displeasure first into the distance of the ocean, and then at the forest. When he managed to deprive the whole island of the Spirit Tree and rid it of these complacent and weak children of light, he left Niwen for the same reason.

When he returned, he had a new plan to capture Niwen, but a stupid creature interfered with his plan and took away the spiritual leaf.

The Dark Spirit looked at the ocean again.

"I'll find you, feathered one. Both of you, and then Niwen will be plunged into darkness again, and no spiritual beast will save him anymore."

The sun's rays pleasantly warmed the glowing fur of the young spirit. The breeze that walked through the expanses of this world tickled the nose and caused thin long appendages to move with a concentration of spiritual energy at the ends. It was not very comfortable to lie on the stone, but the rays of the sun and the wind dispelled thoughts of discomfort and allowed to enjoy a sunny morning.

My stomach rumbled again, and spasms of pain appeared in it. This forced me to leave the stone and go in search of water, which, it seems, was not enough for my body. There were no puddles among the clearing, and I had to return to the forest again. Among the trees and bushes, a low tree with yellow-red fruits attracted my attention. I plucked one of them and smelled it. A smell that I had never felt before seeped through its dense peel. Involuntarily, saliva flowed from mouth, and my stomach again gave off spasms of pain. After taking a bite, I felt an incredible taste sensation. A pleasant soft juice flowed down my throat. As soon as the whole fruit was inside me, the pain in my stomach receded a little. My body and consciousness demanded more of these delicious juicy fruits.

My condition improved, and with it the white glow coming from my fur became brighter. I lay down next to a tree on which delicious fruits were growing, and, leaning my back on its trunk, I began to inspect the nature around me. Various small creatures were flying, crawling, jumping everywhere, performing their life tasks. Among the trees, in small clearings, there were various kinds of flowers that brought variety with their flowers to this forest. A small animal with black round eyes ran up to me and started sniffing. His body and long tail were covered with short brown fur. He didn't look dangerous, rather interested in me, but as soon as I decided to stretch out my paw to him, he immediately turned around and ran into the nearest bushes. I felt embarrassed. I would even say sad, from this case. Animals were running around everywhere, looking at me every now and then, and I still don't know who I am and what I should do. But I had a name and a goal to find answers. It made me get up and go further into the forest.

While I was moving through the forest in search of answers, my eyes came across various holes in the ground. Small animals of various kinds jumped in there. There were holes in the trees, next to one of which a couple of red animals were sitting on a branch and gnawing nuts. There were bird nests among the branches, where birds flew up, bringing food to their children. Everyone had their own house, and I don't even know how and how to make it, what it should be. Added more questions to many others.

I came up with the idea to try to find a house for myself, at least temporarily. Maybe it will be possible to get to know and make friends with someone from the inhabitants of this forest. My search was not long, I liked a hollow in a tall thick tree. Its entrance looked big enough for my size, which couldn't help but attract. I remembered how some animals climbed a tree using all four paws. My attempts to repeat after them only left small shreds of my fur from my fingers on the bark of the tree. I walked around the tree and found places in the bark where I could grab hold and get to the nearest branch. Soon I reached my goal, which made me smile, but when I looked down, I felt that I felt somehow uncomfortable. Grabbing the branch tighter, I crawled to the hollow and looked into it.

The first thing that caught my attention inside the hollow was a few chicks looking at me with their big yellow eyes with black pupils. Their plumage was brown, and their beaks were slightly flattened. They looked at me with interest, and it seems that they were attracted by my light, because after looking around me, they began to slowly approach me. I stretched out my paw to them in an attempt to get to know them, and then something pinched me painfully. I felt like a piece of fur was torn out just above my tail, and the tail itself began to be subjected to frequent painful sensations. As soon as I stuck out my paw and turned towards the attackers, one of the birds flew into me and knocked me off the branch. In trying to grab one of the branches, I only got abrasions on my paws, but at least it slowed down the speed of my fall.

Falling backwards to the ground knocked the wind out of me. It took my breath away, and it was very difficult for me to start breathing again. My eyes went dark, and a void formed in my head. I was brought back to consciousness by new painful sensations from those who defended their home and their children. I stretched out my paw and, making a pleading muzzle, made a sound in an attempt to apologize, but it didn't seem to suit them. One of them pinched me painfully by the edge of my ear, and I had no choice but to leave this place. Bushes with dense foliage turned out to be my salvation. Hiding in them, I began to wait with a frightened look for the angry birds to lose interest in me. My heart was beating fast with fright and excitement. Satisfied with their actions, the birds flew back, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

A deep sadness crept into the soul, causing severe pain, compared to which the physical one was not noticeable. When I got out of my hiding place, I decided to examine my body and was horrified. The whole body was covered with abrasions and scratches, through which white blood oozed. This made it even sadder, and tears appeared in my eyes. Strange thoughts crept into my head, in which resentment for the whole world flashed. Something alien, dark consumed my mind, my soul, but in the depths of my consciousness there was something that did not allow all this to overshadow my mind. My consciousness persistently tried to convince me that all the thoughts that were born in my head were not peculiar to my essence. They should not be, as if I was born not to harm others, but on the contrary. With this realization, a memory of Ori appeared in my head: "I am a carrier of light, and I will give it to others." After that, my head hurt and I fell asleep.

"The morning sun was shining. Different animals went about their business. A glowing creature with white fur stood out among them. He helped a creature with six paws and a bandage on his face to build a house out of foliage and long grass, tying it all with vines. Interesting cute animals, sometimes running by, helped in some business. Some of them even brought the necessary sheets, vines and much more. And so, a large clearing was filled with various animals and cozy-looking houses."

I felt a movement on my stomach and opened my eyes a little. Raising my head, I saw on my chest the very animal that dared to get close to me before hiding in the bushes. In its paws there was a red-red fruit unknown to me. He put the fruit on my chest and jumped off me and ran away. I took the gift in my paw, stood up, looked in the direction of a possible new friend. My soul became calmer, my thoughts came in order, and a slight smile appeared on my muzzle. After all that had happened, the gesture of goodwill of an animal unknown to me turned out to be something healing for me.

The fruit that was presented to me turned out to be even tastier and softer than the previous one. It turned out to be a great pleasure to eat it. I even wanted to find more.

The sun was moving towards the horizon, foreshadowing the imminent onset of night time. I remembered the same question I was interested in about my cozy nest. "Maybe those houses that I saw in my dream will suit me too?" I remembered everything that happened in that dream, as if it were my memories. "I need to hurry, otherwise it will get dark soon, I need my own house ..." With these thoughts, I walked through the forest and found a small clearing with large stones. Some of them had a flat surface, which I liked as a place for my house.

Using the knowledge from my memories, by late at night I managed to finish the construction of my house. When it got dark, my light helped me to see everything well in front of me, allowing me to continue to connect the leaves and the rest of the components of my house with each other. I closed the entrance with a large dense sheet tied to the ceiling, and it occurred to me to tie small stones to the bottom of the sheet so that the wind would not get inside the house. In order for my house not to be blown away by the wind, I tied it with a thick vine to the roots of the trees that were around the clearing. While the sun was still shining in the sky, I gathered moss from the trees and put it on the rocks for a while, under the sun's rays. Now I have the opportunity to use it as a soft crib. During all this work, I forgot my grievances against the world around me and fell asleep with a calm soul in my house, on a cozy bed. I dreamed again of other people's memories, in which it was possible to find answers to my questions.
