Calderoneric758: Sonic would just instantly say no, romance ain't for him as funny as it'd be. Although I think others would tease Sonic and Atalanta about it.

ENDDRAGON369: Gareth is underrated, she's my favourite among the Round Table in Fate.
xmodaliyong12: Tamamo Cat would be confusion and then acceptance, Artoria Lily would be a strange urge to protect her (And slaughter her enemies to protect her smile). Gilgamesh it depends, Caster Gil and Sonic would approve of each other, while Sonic would be wary of Archer Gil, Kid Gil and Sonic would get along pretty well. Jack Sonic would go into 'Big Brother Mode' and protect her, teaching her about morals and stuff, while also teaching her how to fight better.
I do have some ideas for Blaze and her dimension, but nothing concrete yet. I'm still thinking on it. As for Sonic getting a harem… I have no idea, just wait and read.
shadowfox219: There are plans for Excalibur, and I can't wait to reveal them. As for Sonic getting armour, he's not really the type to wear armour and only wore it once as Excalibur Sonic, and he's fast enough to avoid most blows.
Robin Hood and Nightingale, Nightingale is no, but Robin Hood is a possibility.

Kojiro is someone who'd be neat, he's a pure skill fighter and is amazing at it. I feel Sonic would find Kojiro an interesting opponent or ally.
Clownreaper96: Artoria Alter I plan to have appear, Raikou and Gilgamesh won't be appearing for a while. As for the others, I won't say anything.
Doortolight47: I have plans for Excalibur, and I hope they'll be enjoyed. I have read Fate Genesis, one of my favourite fics to be honest!

Disc0rd3r: There is one knight of the Round Table among the Servants Sonic will summon, and Merlin will have some fun with Sonic.
Goetia isn't going to underestimate Sonic, Goetia is very smart and Sonic is an unknown variable that could ruin everything. He will ensure he knows everything he can about Sonic, and throw way more things at Sonic then he did canon Chaldea.
Eggman will appear eventually, but not sure if he'll appear in Part One.
AceStarKnight: If Sonic met Sakura… The Matou family wouldn't exist anymore, and Sonic would have a new adopted sibling. We all know Sonic doesn't like killing, but at least Eggman has some redeeming traits (Despite the many apocalypses he's almost caused), Zouken would perish without a doubt.
Sonic will have some interesting conversations with other kings, but especially with the Artoria's.
I may some running jokes, but not fully sure as they're more for memes at this point and not fully serious.
Server Lock: Archer Gil will be so confused he'll use his clairvoyance, see Sonic's feats and adventures, and suddenly everyone will be wondering why Gil is actually showing respect for Sonic. If Sonic summoned Lancelot, Mashu would need to hit him.
Kintoki would get along great with Sonic. But yea right now I'm very limited in who I can summon, but its still an interesting pool of Servants.
Lord Metallex (Chapter 10): Thats both accurate and wrong, but its an interesting theory none the less!
Lord Metallex (Chapter 8): Your right in Sonic wouldn't really care, but imagine for a sec what would happen if every religion being real, mages manipulation the public and performing inhumane experiments, and the Holy Church were revealed to the public? Not just that, but aliens and other dimensions as well? It'd cause world wide chaos, and potentially lead to world war III.
Sonic likes adventure, but he's not going to risk an entire world wide war just to explore Earth.
ChaosDeathLord: Not a Broken Phantasm, something else. Getting someone like Castoria is impossible for right now, so thats not the plan ether.
That is… not my plan for Excalibur, that sounds funny but not my plans.
rednumber39: Yea I'm not just going to brush aside Lev's attack, Chaldea is still recovering and they're main focus is ensuring Sonic has allies to fight with and Chaldea is liveable. Servants are also stupidly draining on mana since they don't have the Holy Grail (And need to save the lesser Grails they're getting for Goetia), the Chaos Emeralds can only release so much power at once without having all seven. So basically Sonic is mostly going to hand over the Chaos Emeralds for Chaldea's energy, to keep the Servants manifested.
As for the Master Emerald and Super Emeralds, I love Hyper Sonic and I do want to include him, but theres only a few enemies I can think of who wouldn't be instantly defeated by Hyper Sonic, and I'm not fond of making Sonic unbeatable. So while I have plans for the Master Emerald, and want to include the Super Emeralds, I cannot say anything more without spoilers.
Sonic was bored, a bored Sonic was dangerous. He knew he needed to stay still, but it was hard! His feet twitched and-
"Sonic! We need you to stay still". The voice of Da Vinci spoke, waving some kind of scanner around the hedgehog's body. The hedgehog sighed but did his best to do so.
"Why do you even need to do this? You're already scanning the Chaos Emerald! Why do you have to scan me as well?". Sonic complained, squinting as the scanner went over his head.
"We need to ensure your body will work with the FATE system, it was designed for humans not Mobians. We can't have anything going wrong at this stage". The Caster explained, putting the scanner away and walking over to a computer, taping a few things and causing the ground around Sonic to light up with green energy.
"And you have to use so many different testing methods, why?". He complained, pushing down the urge to twitch as the energy went over him, after a few seconds the light faded away.
"Do you want to risk exploding if the ritual goes wrong?". Da Vinci teased, Sonic shutting up and just letting her work. He was fairly certain he could survive the ritual going wrong… Right?
After a few more minutes, Da Vinci was satisfied with her work while Sonic was finally glad to be able to move about again.
"Alright, I've checked over your data. Chaos Energy's pseudo-nuclear fission with mana should work, your body is stable, and everything is looking good! We're ready to start the FATE system". Da Vinci exclaimed, causing Sonic to smirk, finally!
Sonic took a nervous breath, well not nervous, but more… Tense. Roman had explained the Servant summoning of the FATE system, how it would summon Servants based on three things.
A catalyst, something belonging to a Servant in life. They had considered using the strange crystal Excalibur had become to try summoning Artoria, but Da Vinci had said it was simply to unstable to risk. They still had no idea what the crystal really was or how it'd interact with the summoning system.
Second, bonds. If Sonic had met a Servant before, it was more likely for them to be summoned. Making it more likely for him to summon Cu or Artoria Alter, who he had met and fought before. But it also made a risk of summoning the enemies he had fought, like Medusa Alter or Heracles.
Finally, chance. Pure chance could summon any Servant, even those he'd never met or gained a catalyst for. Some personality similarities could influence it, but that was about it.
And it was the third that made him tense, sure he could summon someone he had met who was an ally and friend, but he could also summon monsters. Servants weren't limited to just heroes, villains could be summoned as well. He was confident he could take anyone down, but fighting in Chaldea was a bad idea, it wasn't even close to fully recovered and if they damaged the FATE system, they were screwed.
"Soo Doc, if someone who causes trouble shows up, I need to get em away first and then fight?". Sonic asked Roman, who was sitting behind a glass screen with the other staff. The summoning chamber was a large white room with different machinery about, a table with Mashu's shield sat across it, said Demi-Servant standing at Sonic's side.
"Yes, a section of the walls will open up to an already damaged area of Chaldea, better thats destroyed more then anything else". Roman explained, his expression slightly nervous and why wouldn't he be? This would be the first Servant summoning since Da Vinci, and it wasn't even with a human master!
"Got it, and I just need to chant some fancy words?". Sonic frowned, apparently the ritual needed some magic chant to work, but it worked more as a plea so anything could be said. Most Servants would only respond to a proper chant though.
"Yes, I'll leave that bit to you". Roman looked over the computers, doing a last minute check for anything that could go wrong.
"If anything goes wrong Senpai, I'm here to help!". Mashu said, although just like the doctor hints of concern leaked into her voice and expression, but Sonic just smirked.
"Relax! It will be fine, I'll summon some Servants and we'll be able to handle this!". Sonic walked over to the shield, holding out his right hand like he had been told to. He started channelling Chaos Energy into his hand, the shield reacting and a glow forming around it.
It felt strange, he could feel a connection forming between him and… Something else, it felt like something was watching him, a being beyond the world. But the hedgehog hero just smirked, and began talking, a chant filling his mind.
"The servers are the seven Chaos. Chaos is power, power is enriched by the heart. The controller is the one who unifies the Chaos". As Sonic spoke, the glow around the shield increased, a golden light forming together into a humanoid body shape.
"...I have come in response to your summons, so you shall be my master then, my counterpart?". The black cloaked figure of Artoria Alter asked, her gold eyes meeting Sonic's own green.
The summoning chamber went quite, the staff of Chaldea had frozen, the first Servant to be summoned was this!? Mashu looked ready to rush for her shield, while Sonic...
"Sup Artoria!". Sonic spoke casually, causing everyone to look to look at him as if he were crazy. Artoria Alter's eyes narrowed.
"Greetings, so this is Chaldea… I find myself disappointed". She scowled, her gaze travelling across the room and landing on Mashu for a few seconds, before returning to Sonic. Walking up to him, Mashu flinched and looked ready to run for her shield.
"You could be less rude ya know?". Sonic frowned, while Artoria wasn't hostile, she clearly had no respect or like for Chaldea. But that didn't mean he'd be rude back. "Welcome to Chaldea, how about I give you the tour?".
"Unnecessary, you mean to summon more Servants correct? Get to it". Artoria Alter just walked to the corner, her gaze staying stuck on the shield.
Everyone except Sonic was uncomfortable, Artoria had been one of their greatest enemies and now she was an ally? It was a hard pill to swallow.
"Hey Doc, we good to go?". Sonic asked, getting a shaky 'yes' in return. Smirking he held out his hand again, smirking as the light gathered together into a familiar form.
"Cu Chulainn, here in response to your summons. Oh hey, nice to see ya again and this time I'm actually a Lancer! Nice". Cu Chulainn's fanged smirk met Sonic's own, the two walking close and giving a fist bump, yet when he saw Artoria he blinked a few times before shrugging and accepting it.
"Nice to have ya Cu, looking forward to seeing what you can actually do!". Sonic was happy to see his friend again, watching as Cu went to stand next to Mashu, helping the Demi-Servant keep an eye on Artoria.
Sonic frowned, nobody would get along easily with Artoria it seemed, he'd have to keep an eye on that and try helping her. Sure she was rude and a bit cruel, but some friendship should soften that up.
The hedgehog stared at the summoning ritual, raising his hand again and gathering his Chaos Energy, channelling it forward. Golden light gathered together, forming another person and-
Bump Bump.
A connection, a bond that felt so familiar yet so new, someone he knew yet he didn't.
"My name is Gareth, a knight of the roun- MY KING! MY KIIIINGG!". An excited voice exclaimed, a young blond haired knight rushing forward and trying to hug Artoria, but the king simply held her back with a single gauntlet covered hand.
"Sir Gareth, should you not be greeting your master instead of me?". The corrupted knight asked, a hint of fondness seeping into her voice. The knight, Gareth apparently blinked and quickly turned to Sonic, bowing.
"I-i'm sorry sir! I was just super excited to- AAAH I'M SORRY!". She apologized, causing Sonic to smile, an unfamiliar yet warm nostalgia filling him.
"No prob, I'm Sonic the Hedgehog". He offered a hand for a handshake, Gareth looking confused for a few seconds before taking it with a smile.
"Its nice to meet you master! I look forward to fighting with you!". Gareth smiled, it was a bit odd having a non-human master, but something told her he was a good person. He almost reminded her of her king, which was strange even without the species difference.
"I'll be explaining some things once we've finished summoning, would you mind waiting with Artoria?". Sonic asked, Gareth nodded but was a bit confused at him calling Arthur Artoria… And was her king always so feminine? She would be getting some mind shattering revelations later.
Sonic smiled looking over the Servants he'd summoned so far, he wasn't sure how strong each was, yet he was happy to have some new friends ether way. The strange nostalgia he felt for Gareth he could only assume to be from bleed over from Artoria.
He returned to the shield once again, gathering his Chaos Energy and raising his hand. Another Servant forming, and he was starting to question if he was only summoning melee fighters.
"Servant Assassin, your quite an interesting master aren't you? Sasaki Kojiro". The purple haired man asked with a relaxed expression. "I shall be your blade however you see fit to use me".
"Nice to meet ya! Name's Sonic and its nice to have you Sasaki". Sonic grinned, getting a light smile from his first Assassin. "Can ya wait with the others, I'll be explaining things once we've finished summoning".
Sasaki nodded and walked over to Artoria, exchanging an interested gaze with the Saber, his eyes going to the corrupted Excalibur at her side.
Sonic readied himself again, he was starting to feel a bit of a drain on his Chaos Energy reserves now, it wasn't bad but he was starting see why he was told to summon only six Servants.
Light gathered together, revealing something Sonic honestly hadn't expected.
"Servant Caster, Tamamo-no-Mae, one of the three great evils of Japan. A pleasure to meet you, master". The foxy woman said with a smile, but Sonic was more focused on her fox ears and tails.
"I thought you guys didn't have Mobians here? Hows there a human-mobian hybrid?". Sonic asked Mashu curiously, those were rare enough in his own world, seeing something like that here was even more confusing.
"M-master! Be careful, she's a dangerous kitsune, evil fox spirits!". Mashu said in concern, the other Servants looking ready to attack on the hedgehog's command.
"Woah chill out, she's here helping out. I doubt she was summoned here just to turn against us, are ya?". Sonic asked Tamamo casually, who just giggled and walked up to him.
"Of course not master! I'm your Tamamo-Chan~ Ready to serve it whatever ways you need!". Tamamo spoke a bit… to affectionately for Sonic's taste, why was he getting flashbacks to Amy?
"N-nice to meet you Tamamo! How about you go stand next to the other Servants, I've still got one more summoning to go!". Sonic spoke nervously, letting out a sigh of relief when Tamamo pouted and walked over to Mashu and Cu. Cu had relaxed but still kept a wary eye on Tamamo, while Mashu still looked ready to battle.
The hedgehog was relieved, Artoria Alter and Tamamo had made some people nervous, but it seemed everything was peaceful for now. Hopefully it wouldn't lead into fights later… Hopefully.
He turned to the summoning ritual for the last time, gathering his Chaos Energy and watching as golden light formed together into a humanoid shape that…
"Big brother! Big brother, I want to learn swordsmanship!".
"Merliiin, my feet are tired!".
"Sword of selection, grant me your power!".
The light faded away, revealing a face that perfectly resembled that of Artoria Alter, the only difference being she seemed younger and far more innocent. Her skin was more healthy, her hair a golden blond, and her green eyes that shined with hope and life.
"Servant Saber, Artoria! I'm still in training, but I hope to be of use… to… you…". The younger Artoria trailed off, her shocked expression meeting that of her older corrupted counterpart.
"A-a younger version of my king?! H-how adorable!". Gareth near squealed, rushing forward and putting the younger Artoria into a hug. "Aaah! Let me hug you! Your so cute!".
"...I wish I could say this was the first time I've met a younger version of myself… Well, this time their a different species and gender…". Sonic thought aloud, everyone giving him weird looks. "Look, I've had some weird adventures okay? Time travel isn't even in the top 10".
Immediately everyone began asking him questions, Artoria Alter kept changing her gaze between her younger self and Sonic, Gareth was excitedly talking to the younger Artoria who barley kept up with the attention, while Cu was laughing.
His other Servants at least seemed to be taking things seriously, so Sonic let everyone get their questions done before he began answering.
After a few minutes, Sonic had managed to answer most of the questions. ("Look, I don't get how the Time Eater or the white space worked, I just ran and things happened!"), and now he only had a few more things to explain.
"So, your my king's counterpart in your world… That's amazing! Does that mean you have an Excalibur to?". Gareth asked excitedly, after getting over her shock at Sonic coming from an alternate world and being its King Arthur, she was now excited to work alongside three different versions of her king! It was awesome!
"Incredible… I never thought a hedgehog could be King, I have so much to learn from you Master!". Artoria Lily (What they'd taken to calling the younger Artoria thanks to her dress) was eager to learn from both her older and dimensional counterparts, hoping it would make her an even greater king!
"Human history incinerated… Even my top power couldn't achieve such a thing, no wonder I was summoned like this then…". Tamamo wondered aloud, a frown covering her face.
"Lev and his comrades will pay for using me, they have even dared harm my Britain… Shall we destroy them, master?". Artoria Alter cared not for Sonic's other dimensional origins, she only wanted revenge on Lev.
"Fastest thing alive? Thats quite a bold claim master, perhaps you and I could test that during a sparring match?". Sasaki's eyes contained a glint of hunger, he wanted to fight Sonic, to test his claims of absolute speed. Could it surpass even his greatest technique? He wanted to know.
"Man, I knew most of this already but having it layed out properly this time… This is some real shit we're dealing with, ain't it?". Cu mused, twirling his spear. He was eager to finally get some proper fights with his spear, but he wished it was under difference circumstances, even he wasn't enough of a battle maniac to ignore the fact this place was the last remaining human civilization now.
Sonic looked over the gathered Servants, these were his allies, his friends now. Some would be hard to befriend he knew, some may even cause issues down the line, but the hedgehog hero hoped to gain their trust and friendship.
"Look, I get this is a big situation. You guys have been summoned to help save humanity, and I'm not ignorant to the fact some of you could really care less about humanity as a whole. But we're a team now". Sonic spoke, gathering all the Servants attention. "We're the only hope humanity's got left, we lose, humanity goes bye-bye".
The Servants shifted about uncomfortably, Lily seemed to be the most nervous about it with Gareth a close behind. But all of them were uncomfortable on some level, this was the biggest mission any of them had ever taken on.
"But, I believe we can do this! We're not alone, we've got the support of all of Chaldea, and I'm sure we'll get more allies as we solve the Singularities! If ya don't want to fight, thats fine, not everyones a fighter". Sonic's words were filled with charisma, all of the Servants looking at him with interest or awe (In Lily and Gareth's case).
"We're humanity's final Resistance, its up to us to work together and save the world. So whos with me?".
After a rather rousing speech from Sonic, Da Vinci and Roman had come down to give the tour to the newly summoned Servants. Sonic had seen some of Chaldea when it was still whole, but he was still unaware what facilities and rooms still even functioned now.
"Chaldea was originally a research and observation facility, so most of its functions were for that". Roman explained as the group walked through the halls, Sonic would be running about near constantly to explore every corner, and was followed by Lily and Gareth, the two young knights eager to explore with their master.
"Sadly, most of the research was destroyed, a shame". Da Vinci smiled as they arrived at a door, opening it to reveal a large white room. "But luckily we've managed to repair some of the more useful devices of Chaldea, including this simulator".
"Simulator? Like this thing can- WOAH!". Sonic let out a gasp as the room around them shifted, turning from a white room to a beautiful lush field, the sun seeming to shine about. "Okay, this is impressive!".
"I gotta agree, even feels like grass". Cu said, kneeling down and grabbing a strand of grass, looking at it in interest.
"Its all solid light, structured to feel near identical to whatever area you want. You can even upload areas from your memories". Da Vinci made a holographic screen appear before Sonic, who looked over it in interest, recognizing a list of names.
"Wait, so this thing can take areas from our memories right? So I could". Sonic smirked, pressing on a familiar name and watching as the area changed again, into the familiar and nostalgic form of Green Hill Zone. "WOOOHOOO!".
Sonic rushed off, speeding around the zone and going around the loop de loops. His companions looked on in interest, seeing an area so strange their world.
"IS THAT A FLOATING ISLAND!?". Gareth asked excitedly, watching what looked to be an island in the sky! Her masters world was amazing!
"Yep! Sky Sanctuary Zone, its a blast to run through!". Sonic stopped by the group again giving a smirk, but Da Vinci interuppted him.
"But the simulator can do much more then mimic areas from your memory, think of a tough opponent you've fought in the past, imagine them being here". Da Vinci spoke, and Sonic did so. A tough opponent huh? He's faced a lot, but who to choose…
Drip, drip, drip.
Sonic's eyes widened, as did his Servants. Before them stood a creature made completely of water, a brain visible in its head and large green eyes. Cu and Tamamo's eyes narrowed, this creature was radiating a very familiar energy...
"CHAOS!?". Sonic stood ready to spin dash, and Chaos raised his arms to battle.
"Wait wait wait! Its just a simulation! Its copying this creature from your memories, if you attack it, it'll attack back!". Roman warned, causing Sonic to stop along with the Chaos simulation.
"Wait, so its just a…?". Sonic trailed off, watching Chaos just stand there. It without a doubt looked like the God of Destruction, his energy felt like it to, but as he paid closer attention, it did seem a bit… Off. "Bit to realistic for my comfort, I've faced enough virtual reality enemies for a life time".
Sonic walked around the fake, its eyes following, it wasn't on the same level as Infinite's clones, but it was enough to fool him at first glance.
"The simulator creates hard-light constructs of Servants and phantasmal, and I suppose creatures from your world as well now Sonic". Roman interjected, looking as Chaos in interest, just what WAS this creature? "But what is this thing? Its like nothing I've ever seen…".
"A god". Cu spoke, certainty in his voice. He wasn't sure how, but the amount of divinity around this creature told only one option, a divine spirit.
"A-a god!? Senpai, when did you fight a god!?". Mashu asked in shock, and everyone else was in agreement, Sonic had fought a god before? How in the world was he even alive?
"I mean, Chaos 0 isn't that tough, its his later forms you have to worry about". Sonic said casually, turning to face the group after another run around and explaining. "Chaos is connected to the Chaos Emeralds, and without them he's not as powerful. Still tough, but not city destroying level unless he gets all seven".
"Chaos Emeralds? What are those?". Lily asked, confusion colouring her features. Sasaki, Gareth and Tamamo were in the same, while Artoria Alter and Cu had a better idea.
"That gem you used in our battle, that was a Chaos Emerald I assume?". Artoria asked, her master nodding. "I see… Just one alone was able to give me trouble, all seven together must unleash incredible power".
"Chaos and the Chaos Emeralds… Guess it fits on the naming scheme at least". Cu laughed, staring at the Chaos simulation hungrily. Would Gae Bulg's curse even work on such a creature? He had no idea, but he'd have to drag Sonic to the simulator later, to test both his masters skill and try his hands against some of his master's past foes.
"I think that's enough excitement for today, we still have a few more areas on the tour". Roman interrupted, frowns and complaints travelling around the group but they reluctantly agreed.
The tour would continue, first showing off Da Vinci's workshop ("Getting uncomfortable flashbacks to Eggman again!"), the cafeteria, and finally.
"And here are the rooms, there was… Lots more staff of Chaldea originally, so we have around forty spare rooms, so if anyones interested in a room, just ask and we can set you up with a key-card". Roman explained as the group stared in awe at the utterly massive amount of rooms, Sonic noted it was almost like someone had thrown together two football stadiums, and this was apparently only one of the living areas!?
Chaldea was a lot bigger then he realized.
"Acceptable barracks, we cannot fight our enemies if do not get any rest". Artoria Alter stated, looking over the large room. While she had no desire to get a room for herself, she had to admit it'd be handy.
"Woooah! It's so big! It looks like you could spend hours exploring all the rooms!". Gareth said, smiling in awe. This was bigger then her king's castle!
Sasaki kept himself quite, but mentally he was already planning to set up a room. Amaterasu knows he needs it after that damn Medea had him guarding those gates for an entire grail war. Tamamo twitching and glaring at him for some reason did confuse the Assassin however.
"Sonic, since we've yet to actually get it done. Here's your key-card, it grants you access to your room, number 91". Da Vinci handed Sonic a card, the hedgehog looking over it in interest and smiling as he noticed it had his picture doing a thumps up.
"Bit disappointed I can't sleep in the open, but even I can't sleep in a winter wonderland. I'll take sunny beaches over snow anyway". The hedgehog zipped over to his room, scanning the card and taking a look inside. It was a nice looking room he supposed, but he'd have to add some decorations to make it more… Him.
But still, looking across the room, he smiled. This adventure hadn't had the best start, but it wasn't over yet. New friends, new enemies, and he was eager to meet them all head on.
"Looks like its time to be a hero again, shame Knux's and Tails couldn't be here for this one!".
Another big chapter for this, but as I kept writing more and more kept coming. There will probably be a few more Chaldea chapters before we move onto Orleans, so I hope everyone's excited!
