"Rock n' Not Loud Adventures!"
Chapter 5: A Refrigerator Problem...

(September 27. Loud House, Franklin Avenue, Royal Woods Michigan.)

Just another regular and usual day here at the Loud House, and at the moment someone is walking home from school, and that someone is none other than Lincoln Loud, and he sighs in relief, and he feels calm and relaxed, and he recalls why he is feeling like this.

'Dang, last night mom... I mean, Michelle made the most delicious cheese filled chicken nuggets, I don't know how she managed to stuff all of that delicious cheese inside, but that was so amazingly delicious. I am so glad to have stored some away, for myself to enjoy. Hmmm, perhaps I can ask to help her next time, and then we can have a lot that I could bring some for lunch at school.'

Lincoln reaches the house, but before he even opens the door, he spots Mr. Grouse and he is looking for something. "Mr. Grouse, is something wrong?" Lincoln goes to the fence and sees what he is doing with the magnifying glass.

"Huh? Oh, hey there Loud. Looking for my car keys, I think I dropped them on the ground somewhere." Mr. Grouse then looks under one of the plants, and he even pulls a gopher from the ground and checks the hole, and the animal is so confused.

Lincoln then looks to the car of Mr. Grouse. "Are those the keys inside the car?"

"Wait, what?!" Mr. Grouse looks inside his car, and he chuckles. "Huh, I guess I forgot them in there, thanks Loud."

"Anytime, neighbor."

"Lincoln..." The boy turns around and looks to Mr. Grouse. "I'm still sorry about the whole parents being locked away thing. I mean, I always wondered why you guys are always so loud and stuff, but I never knew it was because your folks didn't know how to keep you all disciplined. A lot of neighbors around these parts have left, to avoid the noise and chaos."

Lincoln nods. "Yeah, I kinda have seen the pattern too. I feel sorry about the noise and trouble we have caused, I feel like we owe them all an apology, but then again our 'rents didn't know how to be responsible enough to keep our tone down. But, they're both locked up and are trying, we'll check on them soon and see how they're slowly learning, and hopefully... They have learned something."

"Same here, kid." Mr. Grouse then watches as Lincoln Loud goes into the house, and then the old man tries to open the door is his car, and he realizes he has been locked out of his car, and the keys are inside. "Oh gosh dang it."

Lincoln walks into the house and he sees the others are watching the Dream Boat. "Hey guys."

"Hey Lincoln." He chuckles seeing how distracted they are, and so he heads to the dining room, and then to the kitchen and there he sees the woman who has been tasked, well volunteered to take care of them. Michelle Lewis.

"Hey, Lincoln. Welcome home." she then finishes washing dishes. "So, anything happen at school? Was Andrew causing some problems?"

"Nope, he was steering clear. Apparently he seems cautious, but he seems to be taking his time, also he seems very injured. Almost like he got mobbed by a bunch of angry animals." Lincoln then opens the fridge, but then he sees something is wrong. "Wait, what?"

This alarms Michelle. "Lincoln, what's wrong?" She goes over to see this plastic container, has only five of the cheese filled chicken nuggets she made last night.

"Why are there five left? I left six nuggets in here?"

Michelle then tries to recall. "Weird, your sisters never went to the kitchen when they came home, and Luna went upstairs. They all went to the living room to watch some TV." they don't know, that Charles is hiding, and he nibbles on what he took from the fridge, clever boy.

Lincoln sighs. "Ugh, whatever. This bites it." He then walks away from the kitchen, and he heads to the dining room and then upstairs, this has Michelle concerned, and she looks into the fridge and she sees how stuffy it is, and it has a lot of things that a large family such as the Louds all need and want, this gives her an idea.

'I think I know who to call.' she then grabs her phone and she starts to dial the number from one of her friends.

Meanwhile, Lincoln heads upstairs and he goes into the bedroom which he shares with his big sister, Luna, and she is already there, and she finishes with her math homework, and she turns around and sees her roommate/brother. "Hey Linc..." but she sees his upset expression. "Lincoln, what's wrong? What happened at school?"

"Nothing, and Andrew didn't do anything, since he looked like a zoo beat him up, but the real deal is this." Lincoln shows her the empty container. "There were six, and now there are..."

"Five? What the heck? Weird, I saw there were six last night, I woke up in the middle of the night to get something to drink and I double checked the left overs you saved to make sure no one would snag any." Luna then thinks about this. "But, wait... did any of our sisters do this while I was up here?"

Lincoln shook his head. "No, not them Luna. Apparently, mom was in the kitchen and she said that none of them bothered to get there, before I even showed up. So, someone took one of my left overs while we were at school and I doubt it would be mom. She respects our privacy and she didn't have the cheesy chicken nugget breath either."

Hearing that kinda freaks out Luna a bit. "Ummm, okay." she then thinks about this some more, and then Luna realizes what happened. She goes through her head, and thinks about who else, or what else was in here while they were all busy and while Michelle was unaware while she helped tidy up the house. "Brother, I think I know who the culprit is."

(Later in the afternoon.)

We see Lana, Luna and Lincoln, and they make sure Charles is inside his doghouse and he looks upset, and he has cheese on his mouth. Lana sighs. "Dang, I never knew Charles would do that, and after what you guys have mentioned about what Charles has done, it all makes sense now."

Lincoln is confused. "What the heck do you mean, little sister?" asked Luna.

Lana then explains. "Alright, so last month Leni accused Lori for taking some of the left over apple pie from the fridge, and then a week later Lola accused Luan for stealing the last slice of cherry cheesecake, and then a week after that Lucy accused Lynn for stealing one of her delicious blood sausages, and I see the pattern. Charles likes pies, cherries, but mostly meats. Charles has been doing this the whole time."

"Oh what?!" They all see the sisters are there, and they heard everything. Luan holds back Lola, and Lori continues. "Well, that makes sense and that explains why Lisa said that back then..."

Lisa continues. "There was no further evidence that any human has set foot to even open the fridge. I should've set my scanners to search for animal DNA, but I didn't think of such back then. But, Charles stole the left overs we have been saving, and that explains why the left over ham sandwich I wanted to finish as missing too. Clever boy."

Charles whimpers, and he looks to them with puppy eyes. "Aww..." Leni then slaps herself. "No, bad Charles. You will stay in the dog house until the end of the week until you have learned your lesson."

"Remove his treats while you're at it too" replied Lynn. Lana raises her hand, and Lynn sighs. "Sis, don't eat his treats. Michelle wouldn't allow you to eat them."

"Well, that crisis is averted." they see Michelle, and she crosses her arms and looks towards Charles, and the dog looks down in shame and hides inside the doghouse. "That also explains why my cherry soda I left on the table the other day was empty. He really likes cherries, doesn't he?"

"Royal Woods, Michigan after all" replied Luan. "We are all cherry to be cherry-happy folks." the others groan from that pun, but Michelle doesn't know what that pun meant, then Michelle speaks.

"Alright, so guys. Since you were all out here the whole time, it gave time for my friends to come and deliver something special. Come back inside, kids." she then goes back into the house, and so do the others, they wanna know what this is.

As they all go into the house, what they see surprises them. "Whoa, what?!" A brand new refrigerator!

But this was not just an ordinary fridge, this is a large silver colored double door fridge, taller than them and it looked like they had to move something to make this fit, and then Michelle opens it. "There is enough space for a lot of food, and two freezers to keep the meat and ice cream, and a cooler area for the sodas, and a freshness dispenser for all fruits and vegetables. This thing costed more than eighty grand, and it was on sale too."

All of them are baffled, speechless, surprised and they all go towards Michelle and embrace her, and they all call out. "Thank you mom!"

Michelle smiles hearing this and she hugs them all. "You're welcome kids."

Just then there is a knock on the door, they all depart from the hug, and they go and see who it is, and it is none other than Jesse Rosato and her daughter Jordan and Jordan is carrying five boxes of delicious pizza. "Hey guys, we brought some pizza after we went grocery shopping" replied Jordan.

"Also, what the heck was the kitchen and bathroom fixtures guys doing here? We saw their truck out there earlier, and they drove off" replied Jesse. They had a lot to explain to them, about how the woman who is taking care of them, just made their kitchen a little bit better.

(Timeskip, Night Time.)

As dinner is now over, we see Lincoln places the five containers of left over pizza, and he smiles when he sees how large and spacious the fridge is. "This is nice..." He then sees Lisa standing next to him. "Lisa, I know what you're thinking, but you cannot..."

"I do not intend to try and see how this thing works, or to even claim some spare parts, Lincoln." Lisa looks around. "I am simply seeing how much food this can store, and if we store the right kinds of food products, and of course ice cream, then it could all last for a near 20 to 25 days. Depending on everyone's appetite. We don't have much to store, since the fridge makes our old one look obsolete. I also wonder, what did happen to the old fridge which Michelle had decided to remove?"

"Huh, no clue" replied Lincoln.

(Flips' Food n' Fuel.)

Here we see Flip, and he places the fridge outside his store, and he places a sign on it, that it is for sale, and he smirks and snickers. "There, can't believe that Lewis Lady sold this baby to me for only a hundred bucks, I'm gonna make a fortune with this baby by selling it for double the price. I wonder why she would let me buy it, this thing looks good to me..."

But then the door falls off, and then the back, and then a raccoon comes out and races off, and this makes Flip sigh. "Well, this seems awfully familiar. Like the time those loud kids sold me that fancy chemistry kit once."

Flip then goes back into his store, and he comes out with some duct tape and glue. "What folks don't know, won't hurt anyone, well won't hurt me." He snickers and he goes over, to do some terrible repairs to the fridge. Yeah, typical Flip.
