This is just an ordinary thing of what I am improvising, and based on some small stuff from the Loud House Season 3 Episodes, because that is what this story is based upon, after the episodes from Season 3, and some explanations will be added about some episodes. Enjoy reading this newly posted chapter everyone.

"Rock n' Not Loud Adventures!"
Chapter 6: Just settling some things...

(September 28. Loud House, Franklin Avenue, Royal Woods Michigan.)

The Loud House seems nice, calm and peaceful and at the moment Lincoln and Luna are both in the Living Room, and both seem kinda bored as they scan through the channels on the TV, and they sigh and Lincoln turns it off. "There is legit nothing new on TV, sis."

"You got me on that one, Lincoln." Luna then looks towards her brother. "So, wanna go out and enjoy some calm and soothing air?"

Lincoln gets up. "Sure, I don't have any plans today. Can we go to Tall Timbers Park? Jordan said she would be there, and also with her friends."

Luna smirks. "Sure thing little brother, we can go and ask either Lori or perhaps Leni... Scratch that, Lori or mom to take us there." Lincoln and Luna both get up from the couch, and they are about to look for either Lori or Michelle Lewis, but then they see Lori Marie Loud, coming down the stairs, and she has her bag. "Oh hey Lori. Going somewhere?"

"Hey guys, I'm just headed off to Tall Timbers Park."

"We're planning to go to" replied Lincoln. "There doesn't seem to be anything else to do today. Wait, why are you going?"

Lori sighs, and then she explains. "I called someone to come to the Park there. I literally wanna talk to her, about some stuff and how we can settle things down and..."

"It's Carol Pingrey isn't it?" Luna has her arms crossed, and she looks to her with a stern look. "Sis, you gotta stop competing against her, she's a cool person who..."

"Yes, yes. I know, Luna. I just... I just wanna talk to her, and tell her about how I have been feeling, and perhaps then we can clear the air and things won't have to be such an issue between us. I don't want to make her my enemy anymore, I literally wanna change... For the better" replied Lori, and they can tell that she is telling the truth, she sounds sincere and concerned.

Luna then speaks. "That sounds like a good idea sis. Come on, let's go and see if Carol is there." Lori nods, she then feels her brother hold her hand, and she looks down to see the smile from her brother, and this brings back some cute memories from back when he was small, and a cute baby brother.

They then leave the house, and as they leave Michelle comes out from the bedroom she resides in, and she is going through some papers on this court case she has to attend, to defend someone who didn't steal from the local Fish Market not too far, but then she stops and she looks down and sees Lola.

"Lola, is something wrong?" She sees her smile, and she can tell that something is up, she was told about how Lola works, and how she can try to figure some way out to convince someone into getting what she needs, or wants... Mostly what she wants, she is Lola Loud after all.

Lola then bats her eye lashes, and tries to look convincing, innocent and cute, as always. "Well, I can see from those many papers, that you have a lot of work to do, and I know that work like that would usually take a week to make happen and..."

"Lola, cut the sweet talk and spit it out already." Michelle crosses her arms. "Also, yes this work will take me a long while. I gotta defend someone at court next week Saturday."

Lola sighs. "Alright, so I got this big pageant coming around three days before Halloween begins, and this is about the big little Miss Cute and Spooky Candy gal, and I need to practice for the whole..."

"Stay home, run your practice runs on the pageant and needing of Homeschool?" asked Michelle, and she doesn't seem stern anymore. "Yeah, sure. Alright."

This surprises Lola. "Wait, so you're not going to tell me that I need to go to regular school?"

Michelle smirks. "Lola, hon. I was told about this. The others, well Lori, Leni, Luna and Lincoln, and Lana told me that at times when you have a big pageant event coming up, you would need a lot of practice and a lot of work to make it happen, and at that it means you need home schooling. I can let this one be fine, and I can help with that too, and also Jesse Rosato."

Lola is confused. "Wait, what? How do you know about pageants?"

Michelle smirks, and she shows her some photos of her from the past, her Elementary School Days. "I was the sweet little Miss California, three years running, and Jesse Rosato was Little Miss East Michigan, West Michigan and Capital Michigan before. We know how the pageant business runs, sweet heart."

Lola is surprised, baffled, almost like she found a mother who truly does know the true meaning of how to be a pageant contestant. Lola then hugs her legs and she yells. "TEACH ME YOU'RE WAYS!" This makes Michelle smirk and smile, she then sees a confused Luan, Lynn and Lucy.

The trio then slowly back away and head to the kitchen, to leave these two be to deal with, whatever this is that is going on.

(Tall Timbers Park.)

The place is looking great, peaceful and quiet, and there seems to be this sign about the Fishman's Pond not too far from the large Lake, but we're here for one person, and that person is Carol Pingrey.

Carol Pingrey.
Carol is one of Lori's schoolmates. Ever since kindergarten, Carol would one-up Lori in everything they do, including selling the most Bluebell Scout cookies, becoming homecoming queen, and winning a golf tournament, resulting in Lori developing a grudge against her.

Carol has a striking resemblance to Lori, except she has longer blonde hair that points to her right side; she wears a purple headband, light purple eyeshadow, a purple shirt with a white collar, a brown skirt with a checker pattern, and brown shoes with purplish-blue socks worn high.

Carol is as confused as to why she is here, but mostly she is confused about why Lori Loud would want her to come and meet with her here, and there doesn't seem to be much folks around either, and this gives her some concerns.

Then she sees her, Lori Marie Loud, but she doesn't seem to be alone. She also sees a friend she knows, the younger sister of Lori, Luna Loud and also with them is their white-haired little brother, Lincoln Loud. They wave towards her, and she waves back towards them. She's cool with them, but seeing Lori has her concerned. "Hey guys, good to see some friendly faces... Hi, Lori."

"Hey there, Carol" replied Lori, but she sounds nervous. "Glad you showed up, and I just... Have some stuff I wanna talk to you about." she looks towards Lincoln and Luna. The brother and sister nod, and so they walk away to let them talk in private, while Lincoln and Luna go to meet with Jordan and her friend Rachel.

Lori then looks towards Carol, and then she speaks. "Carol, I wanted you to come here so that we can settle this big problem we have, and that would be competing. I mean, I was so jealous of you and what you do, and how you become the little miss perfect and good grades."

"I have been jealous of you for a long, long time. I always wanted to know, why the heck are you so much better than me, or how am I not that popular or awesome as you? I have never thought that what I have been doing, would be an issue with the life I have with my siblings."

"But you know what, change is coming. I wanna be part of that change, and to start... Carol Pingrey, I Lori Loud am done competing against you. I don't wanna try and be better than you anymore. That side of me is done, and I would rather say... I wanna be your friend instead."

Lori offers her hand, to shake with Carol. Carol on the other hand is surprised. "Whoa. Did not see this coming, and to be honest Lori... I was the one jealous of you."

Lori then blinks and she is confused. "Wait, what? Literally what?"

Carol nods and she looks away nervously. "It is true. Lori, I was kinda jealous of you since we met at Grade School, and it kept going onward all the way to High School. The reason why I was always so jealous and trying to one-up you... Is because, well you are the only one who signed up and became part of the Varsity Golf Team, at a freshman age, which no one has ever done."

"You have a lot of good friends, you are pretty much the pretty one from Grade School, Middle School and then to High school and all because of your hair style, which is something I have been trying to mimic but I never could with the hair I have. I mean, after so many dry shampoo, my hair is still flat after that and I think I gotta stop trying to copy the volume of your hair."

"But the other sole reason for me to be jealous, is because you have so many siblings, and they all look up to you, despite the fact you aren't quite there for some of them, and that Luna seems to be better."

"At first I got angry when I found out that you weren't such a good big sister, but then I found out that you are like this because of other stuff, such as the relationship you have with Bobby. So, I chose to not compete anymore, and just be myself at school and help handle the clubs, and the student body meetings. Lori, I never knew you were jealous of me."

Lori and Carol are both surprised by this, and then they both chuckle and share a good laugh, this can be seen by Luna, Lincoln, Jordan and Rachel and they find this sweet and nice to see that Lori Loud and Carol Pingrey are not enemies anymore, despite the fact Luna kinda knew about why Carol is who she is.

"Well, it was about dang time." They then leave them be to themselves, but then they see this notifications, and they see the best fiend selfie from Carol and Lori, and this makes them smile.

Meanwhile Lori and Carol are both talking to each other at the picnic benches. "So, you guys are gonna go and visit your parents tomorrow?" asked Carol.

"Yeah, and we wanna see if they did learn something" replied Lori, she seems concerned and stern. "but to be honest, deep down I wish they were there longer, after we found out that they only see us as a great success to the family name, and something to boast about."

Carol sighs. "Yeah, kinda something I went through as well, Lori. My dad expected me to be better, but after two years of dealing with his words, and intimidation, I put my foot down, talked back and he steered clear and understood my privacy and my choices. But, I still love him because he is my dad."

Lori smirks. "Guess we have some stuff in common." she then chuckles. "I don't know what would've gone down if we remained enemies who don't know the truth."

"Same, and..." Carol then sees something on her phone, and Lori sees it as well. The best friend selfie from two other High School students, whom they know. Bianca and Soo-Young. This makes them look stern, and they didn't like this. "So, we gonna beat them at this?"

Lori has a stern and determined look. "Oh, literally heck yeah! They think they got the better Best Friend Selfie? They are so going down!"

A/N: A Major Change from the episode called "Selfie-Improvement" and a small thing mentioned from the episode "No place like Homeschool." but with some changes, and I wanted to spare Bobby the whole ordeal of him going to Lori to the fact... The guy had his wisdom tooth pulled out! I hope you all enjoyed reading this newly posted chapter everyone.
