Chapter 4 Anno Emiko

Nene's POV

"Everybody, Please give a warm welcome to our new member, Anno Emiko."

After the club head said this, I took a closer look at Emiko.

She had long black hair tied into twin braids, black eyes, pale skin, and she was wearing glasses.

"Hello everybody", she greeted with a bow. "It's nice to meet you all. My name is Anno Emiko, and I am a first year student."

After Emiko said this, she looked up at me. Then…she turned away shyly.

After the film club's meeting was over, everybody but me and Emiko left.

"Um…", she started nervously. "Kusanagi-Senpai?"

"Yes", I asked.

"Um…", Emiko started nervously. "Well…I just wanted to say that…I'm a huge fan of you!"

"Huh", I said in confusion.

"Yes", Emiko replied. "And of Tenma-San, and Ootori-San, and especially Kamishiro-San!"

"You're a big fan of Rui in particular", I asked.

"Yes", Emiko replied. "It's because he inspired me to become a director myself!"

"You're a director", I asked.

"Well", Emiko started. "I want to be one, someday."

After Emiko said this, an idea came to me.

"Anno-San", I started. "Would you like to come with me to Phoenix Wonderland?"

Emiko and I had arrived at the Wonder Stage.

When we did, Emu and Rui were already waiting for us.

"Hi Nene", Emu greeted.

"Hey guys", I greeted. "I want to introduce you to someone."

With that, I gestured to Emiko.

"This is Anno Emiko", I revealed. "She joined my film club today."

"Hi there, Emiko-Chan", Emu greeted before doing her signature pose. "Wonderhoy!"

"Wonderhoy", Emiko said. "Oh wow. I can't believe that I just got to do a 'wonderhoy' with Ootori-San herself!"

"It's very nice to meet you, Anno-San", Rui greeted.

"Oh wow", Emiko said in awe. "It's Kamishiro-San!"

After Emiko said this…she suddenly grabbed onto Rui's hands.

"I'm such a big fan of you, Kamishiro-San", she revealed. "In fact, it was you who inspired me to become a director!"

"You're a director too", Rui asked. "What projects have you worked on?"

"Just one thing really", Emiko revealed. "For my final middle school cultural festival, my class decided to put on our own version of Wonderlands x Showtime's Halloween show, and I directed it."

"You did", Rui asked.

"Yes", Emiko replied. "Almost everyone in my class were huge Wonderlands x Showtime fans after we watched one of your shows when we took a field trip to Phoenix Wonderland. And because our Cultural Festival was happening right after Halloween, we decided to do our own version of your Halloween show. If you want, I can show you a video of it."

Emiko was showing us a video of her class' version of our Halloween show.

"This is quite a good production for a cultural festival performance", Rui stated. "I especially love the use of keeping the auditorium dark for a majority of the show."

"I thought it would add to the spooky atmosphere", Emiko revealed.

Then…Rui began thinking.

"Anno-San", he started. "Would you be interested in becoming Wonderlands x Showtime's new director?"
