Chapter 6 To Wonderland
Emiko's POV
The bright light disappeared, and when it did…I found myself in a strange new place.
This place included things such as…talking plushies, singing flowers…and a flying train?!
"Huh", I started. "Where am I? Did I fall asleep from exhaustion and now I'm having a weird dream?"
After I asked myself this…two people walked up to me.
"Greetings", one of them said.
"Hi there", the other person greeted. "It's so nice to meet you!"
With that, I got a closer look at the people who had greeted me…and I recognized who they were.
"Wait a minute", I started. "Hatsune Miku? Kaito?"
"That's right", Kaito replied. "Welcome to Sekai, Emiko."
"How do you know my name", I asked.
Before I could get an answer…I heard a familiar voice.
"Miku-Chan! Kaito-Oniisan!"
With that I turned around, and I was surprised at who I saw.
"Ootori-San", I exclaimed in shock. "Kamishiro-San?! Kusanagi-Senpai?!"
"Anno-San", Nene said in shock. "What are you doing here?"
"My my", Rui started. "This is quite the interesting development."
"Okay", I started in frustration. "Can somebody please explain to me what the heck is going on?!"
After I yelled this, Kaito put his hands on my shoulders.
"I'll explain everything."
…
Kaito had just finished explaining everything to me.
"Okay", I started. "Let me see if I've got this straight. This is a world that was created from the true feelings of Tenma-San, and I got here by playing the World Hasn't Even Started Yet; which was a song created by Wonderlands x Showtime's true feelings? Also, different versions of the Virtual Singers appear in this world as well?"
"That"s correct", Rui replied.
"Huh", was all I said.
Then…I pinched myself!
"Ow", I said in pain.
"Emiko-Chan", Emu started. "Why'd you do that?"
"To see if this was all just a dream", I revealed. "Turns out…it's not."
After I realized that this was in fact not a dream…my eyes lit up in excitement.
"Wow", I said in awe. "This is amazing!"
"I'm glad that you think so", Rui said.
Then, with newfound inspiration, I suddenly stood up.
"Excuse me", I started. "But how do I leave this place?"
"Aww", Miku said sadly. "You're leaving already?"
"Yes", I replied. "Because coming here has given me inspiration for my first show!"
The Next Day
During the lunch break at school, I tiredly walked into the Film Club's meeting room.
"Hello, Kusanagi-Senpai", I greeted.
"Hello, Anno-San", Nene greeted, before noticing how tired I was. "Are you okay?"
"I was up all night working on my idea", I revealed, before suddenly getting excited. "But it was worth it, because I now have a good outline for my show idea!"
"I wanna hear what Emiko-Chan's show is about", I heard a familiar voice exclaim.
I then turned around…and saw Emu!
"Gah", I exclaimed in shock. "Ootori-San, what are you doing here?"
"I came to visit Nene-Chan", Emu revealed. "Anyway, I wanna hear Emiko-Chan's show idea!"
"Ahhhh", I started. "Okay. Let's go to a good place for me to present my idea."
…
We were now on the roof.
"Okay", I started. "So here's what the show is about. It follows a girl who used to smile all the time, but has stooped doing so since she lost someone dear to her. One day, the girl is visited by a fairy, who transports her to a magical wonderland in order to help her smile again."
"Wow", Emu exclaimed. "That sounds super duper Wonderhoy!"
"Really", I asked. "I'm glad that you like my idea, Ootori-San."
"Who will be playing which roles", Nene asked.
"You will play the girl, Kusanagi-Senpai", I revealed. "Ootori-San will play the fairy. And…I was thinking that we could get the Virtual Singers to play the residents of the wonderland."
"You want the Virtual Singers to appear in the show", Nene asked.
"You did a similar thing when you put on your show that utilized the entire Phoenix Wonderland park", I pointed out. "I thought we could do a similar thing for this show."
"That sounds super fun", Emu stated. "I can't wait to do Emiko-Chan's show!"
Hearing this made me very happy.
"Oh", Emu started. "I almost forgot! Here you go, Emiko-Chan!"
With that, Emu passed me a piece of bright paper covered in glitter.
"What's this", I asked.
"It's an invitation to my birthday party tomorrow", Emu revealed.
"Your birthday party", I asked.
"Yeah", Emu replied. "Tomorrow night, my family will be holding me a fancy schmancy birthday ball! But we'll also be having a party in Sekai after school! I want you to come to both, Emiko-Chan!"
"Really", I asked in shock.
"Of course", Emu replied.
Hearing this made me smile.
"I'd be honored to attend both of your birthday parties, Ootori-San."
