Chapter 7 Celebrating with Everyone

Emu's POV

The Next Day

After school, my friends and I went to Sekai to celebrate my birthday!

"Emu-Chan", Miku started. "Happy birthday!"

"Happy birthday", everybody else said.

"Yay", I exclaimed happily. "Thank you so much everyone!"

After I said this…I suddenly got sad when a certain person came to mind.

Rui had been meeting up with him during the week to help him with his assignment. I was originally going to go with him the next time they met up, but school ended up making it too hard to find a time that would be good for both of us to meet up.

"Are you alright, Emu-Kun", Rui asked. "You seem kind of down all of the sudden?"

"Oh", I started. "I'm fine! It's just…I wish Tsukasa-Kun was here today too."

"Is that so", I heard a familiar voice ask. "Well then, If that is what the birthday girl wants, then your wish is my command!"

"Wait a minute", Nene started. "Is that…"

With that…the person that I wanted to see ran onto the stage.

"Behold", he started. "I, Tenma Tsukasa, have returned for the Emu's birthday!"

When I saw this…a huge smiled came to my face.

"Tsukasa-Kuuuuuuuuuuuuun", I exclaimed.

Then I ran onto the stage, and tackled Tsukasa to the ground.

"I missed you", I exclaimed as I wrapped my arms tightly around him. "I missed you! I missed you sooooo much, Tsukasa-Kun!"

After I said this, Tsukasa wrapped his arms around me as well.

"I missed you too, Emu", he said, before pulling away from me. "Happy birthday."

After Tsukasa said this, I gave him a big smile.

Then, he stood up before grabbing onto my hand and pulling me up as well.

"Hey Tsukasa", Nene greeted.

"It has been over a week since we have have seen each other, Nene", Tsukasa pointed out. "And that is all you have to say to me?"

After Tsukasa asked this, he noticed Emiko.

"Oh", he started. "Hello. You must be Anno Emiko."

"You know who I am", Emiko asked.

"Yes", Tsukasa replied. "Rui told me about you. It is an honor to meet you."

"Oh wow", Emiko said in awe. "The Tenma Tsukasa is saying that it is an honor to meet me! Please, the honor is all mine!"

"Now that the introductions are out of the way", Tsukasa started, before turning to look at me. "Emu, your family will be holding you a birthday ball similar for the one I had for my eighteenth, correct?"

"Yep", I replied. "It's gonna be super duper fun!"

"I'm sure it will be", Tsukasa said. "However, I will not be able to attend. Therefore, I have a request."

With that, Tsukasa held out his hand to me.

"Emu", he started. "Would you honor me with a dance?"

After Tsukasa asked this…a wide smile came to my face.

"I'd love to", I replied, before I took Tsukasa's outstretched hand.

"Excellent", he said. "Let the music begin!"

With that, music began playing, and Tsukasa and I danced together.

Getting to celebrate my birthday with him made me so happy.

That Night

I was at my birthday ball, which was being held in the same ballroom Tsukasa had his eighteenth birthday at.

"Everyone", my dad started. "Thank you so much for coming to my youngest daughter's eighteenth birthday celebration!"

"Thank you so much everyone", I said. "Wonderhoy!"

"Now then", my dad started. "Let the ball officially begin!"

After my dad said this, I grabbed onto both of my brothers' hands.

"Let's dance together", I said. "You too, Hinata!"

"You want all four of us to dance together at the same time", Keisuke asked.

"Won't that look weird", Shousuke asked.

"It's Emu's birthday", Hinata pointed out, before grabbing both of our brothers' hands. "We have to do what she wants."

With that, I pulled all three of my siblings onto the dance floor.

As we were dancing, I turned my head, and saw my troupe members smiling at me.

This brought a huge smile to my face as well.

I'm so happy that I got to celebrate with everyone!
