Chapter 10 Music Video

Ichika's POV

After school, Leo/need met up with Hiroshi at his office.

"Alright girls", he started. "Now that you've had a bit of a break from your tour, it's time to get back to work!"

"What's next for us after the tour", Shiho asked.

"Well", Hiroshi started. "I was thinking that the next thing we should do…is shoot a music video."

"A music video", Honami asked in shock.

"That sounds like so much fun", Saki exclaimed.

"What song are we going to make a music video for", I asked.

"Well", Hiroshi started. "Since needLe was your first single, I think that should be the first song we make a music video for."

"When do we get to work on the music video", Shiho asked.

"I've already contacted a director", Hiroshi revealed. "And she should be here…"

Before Hiroshi could finish…there was a knock at his office door.

"…right now", he finished.

Then he went up to his office door and opened it, and a woman walked into the room.

"Greetings, Hiroshi-Sama", she greeted with a bow. "Thank you for having me.

"Greetings, director", Hiroshi also greeted with a bow. "Thank you for agreeing to this."

After this, the director walked up to the rest of us.

"Greetings, Leo/need", she greeted. "It's very nice to meet you all. I am the person who will be directing your music video."

"It's very nice to meet you", I greeted.

Then, the director sat down in front of us.

"Now then", she started. "Here's my idea for the music video. I remember reading an interview you did in which you revealed how the song needLe came to be. I think we should re-tell this story in the music video."

"Re-tell the story in the music video", I asked.

"The story of how you girls came to find each other again", the director clarified. "Which also led you to forming Leo/need."

"I think that's a wonderful idea", Honami revealed.

"But how would we do that", Shiho asked.

"Do you think your school would be okay with us shooting your music video there?"

The school did agree to us shooting our music video there; on the condition that it was done during the weekend so that we wouldn't interrupt any classes.

We spent Saturday shooting the scenes that would be used for the story portion of the music video. Then we spent Sunday shooting the performance scenes.

During the daytime, we shot scenes of us performing inside a classroom. Then, we shot scenes of us performing on the school roof at nighttime.

"And…cut", the director yelled out when we were done shooting this scene. "That's a wrap everyone!"

With that, the entire crew cheered.

"Thank you so much, director", I said.

"Thank you, Leo/need", the director said.

"So when are we gonna actually get to see the music video", Saki asked excitedly.

"Now that we've got the footage, post-production is probably going to take about a month or two."
