Time for the "Royal Woods Astonishing Quest" but changed, and I wanna say thanks to "Marvelomac1010" for this dude, I like the many other ideas and concept you have for this story, and many based off of the episodes from the Loud House too, this is awesome. Chapter 35: The Astonishing Quest...
(October 27. Ketcham Park. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
Today is a dang good day, the day when the Royal Woods Astonishing Quest is ready, and we see Lincoln Loud and Luna Loud walk out of the bedroom they share, dressed for the day and ready for their partners who are obviously waiting for them, but then they run into someone, Lynn Junior.
"Lynn, what the heck are you doing?" asked Lincoln.
"Just headed to the bathroom, no biggie..." but then Luna grabs her, and she sees the bag she is caring and then Luna sees the disguise inside, and this makes Luna and Lincoln annoyed.
"LJ, what the heck is this?" Luna then carries the disguise of an old woman, and this makes Lynn Jr nervous, and she can see Lincoln is stern as well, they know something is up and Lynn has something stupid planned. But before Lynn can respond, they hear someone calling from the bathroom window.
"Hey, kid, hurry up will ya!" Scoots is there, but then she sees the window open. "Finally..." but she sees Luna and Lincoln, and a nervous Lynn, and Scoots knows what this means. "Uh oh. Scoots is out!" She then races off, and this annoys Luna, she knows what Lynn had planned.
Lynn then admits it. "Alright, alright. I was planning to disguise myself as this old lady named Helen, and get a win at the Astonishing Quest!"
Lincoln is annoyed. "Lynn, you are banned from the whole thing after the previous one, and the sole reason is because of your attitude as a sore winner, and a sore loser, and we all remember that when we all teamed up to make sure you would lose, and then win. Lynn, we've talked about this."
Luna sighs. "We can't let ya go along with this, sister. You have to stay..."
"And she will." they see Michelle Lewis, her arms crossed and she seems ticked off. "Mayor Davis contacted me and told me all about Lynn Loud Junior being banned, and she is staying home. Lincoln and Luna, go on ahead and have fun guys."
Lincoln and Luna nod, and they head off, and they even hand Michelle the bag, and then she looks to Lynn. "You are grounded, LJ. The one thing I don't wanna see is you being banned from other stuff for what you do, I mean you can at least be less of yourself and change who you are."
Lynn is baffled hearing this. "Yeah, well my mom and dad would let me off with a warning and then off the hook!" she then takes her leave, and heads back to her room, and this annoys Michelle, but she doesn't wanna see Lynn in deep trouble.
Michelle then sees Lucy in the room that she shares with Luan, and she sees that she is enjoying her doll, which now looks more gothic and more of her style, and she is glad she made sure there was nothing wrong between Lola and Lucy. But Michelle is confused about one thing. 'That doll, is it haunted?' she sees the doll slowly look at her, and this freaks her out. 'Yup. It is.'
(Somewhere in town.)
We see a lot of folks are gathered someone within Ketcham Park, and they are all partnered up and ready for this year's Royal Woods Astonishing Quest, and even Katherine Mulligan is here, doing a news story about this event once again.
Teams: Lincoln Loud and Jordan Rosato, Luna Loud and Sam Sharp, Albert and Myrtle, Mr. Grouse and Seymour, Zach Gurdle and Rusty Spokes, Nurse Patti and Agnes Johnson, Principal Rivers and Principal Ramirez, Clyde and Chloe, Lori and Leni, Jackie and Mandee, Fiona and Miguel, Stella and Rachel, Lisa and Darcy, Maddie and Margo.
As they all talk about what they can do and expect from this event, they then hear the mayor speak. "Hello everyone, as Mayor of Royal Woods, I would like to welcome everyone to this yeas Astonishing Quest!" she then uses her keyboard, and she loves this gift her kids gave her last year.
Everyone looks determined to win this, then the Mayor continues. "So, as always this is how it works. Teams will be given clues that will lead them to different locations, and each location is where they will all be competing in challenges, the team that finishes the challenge fist will win... the key to the city!" they all gasp seeing this.
But then the mayor laughs. "Just joking. The team that wins gets this small trophy, it's cute and a free one month ice cream pass from Auntie Pam's Ice Cream Parlor, which will start next year for summer vacation!" Everyone is so gunning for that one, mostly the Louds. They love ice cream.
They are all handed the letters with the first clue. "Alright, the teams are ready and you all have your clues. On your marks, get set..." she pushes her keyboard, but it makes a fart sound. "That's not right..." she pushes another key and it makes a horn sound. "Go!"
They all get to reading what this first clue is. Luna reads the clue. "Your first challenge will be easy to master, if you're handy with a blaster." They know what this is.
(Laser Maze.)
The battle is already in motion, and the team who gets three points will get the next clue. Lincoln and Jordan are both back to back, and in the middle of the place, and they are getting shot at, but they dodge all the shots, and it feels like dodge ball for them.
They lock onto anyone who is in their range and they blast them with ease, but then they get strafed and they take cover. Lincoln sees Luna and Sam wave to them and he smirks. "This is so on, sis!" They then commence an attack on them, and they know that thanks to Luna. Sam knows how to play.
But Lisa and Darcy are hit and Lisa groans. "Darcy, I told you not to wear your white shoes for this." The battle rages on, and for some reason Albert is treating this like the war, and he seems to be going... Rambo? Why is he yelling and shooting the ceiling?
(Hunnicutt Farm.)
This is the next place, and Liam hands the folks baskets, and they need to fill them with a dozen eggs, and we head to two chicken coops, and coming out are Lincoln and Jordan in one coop, and we see Luna and Sam at another, they are covered in feathers but they got the eggs.
"This wouldn't have been possible if you had never taught me all about handling with animals, Sam" replied Luna.
"It takes some time, and I learned the ropes from my grandparents at their farm" replied Sam. "Now, if only Simon was this good. He isn't the best when it comes to farm stuff."
They then see Rusty and Zach come out of a chicken coop, and they look like a mess. "Dude that was intense." they then go back in, because they only got five eggs.
(Werk it Dance Studio.)
Everyone is in place, and the instructor gives them instructions. "Alright, folks. Time to get your cardio on! Follow my lead, but misstep and you will wait for the teams to advance." they all hear the music and follow the steps of this dance instructor.
Luna and Sam follow with ease, and thanks to Luna, Sam managed to dance even at concerts. She's not afraid of not dancing, and she looks forward to when the next prom comes around, and we see Lincoln Loud and Jordan Rosato also doing well.
But Mr. Grouse loses his footing. "Oh, my hip!" He stumbles and he lands on his partner, Bernie. "Thanks for saving my fall, partner.
"My back..."
(Scratchy Bottom Camp Grounds.)
This is where we are, and everyone has to climb up if they are to get the next clues, this is rock climbing and both Luna and Sam are having a blast, and racing against Lincoln Loud and Jordan Rosato to the top, but they see Pop-pop made it there.
"Yeah, all that climbing training worked! Thank you sergeant!" He then heads back down, and the others try their best to reach the top, but Lola is struggling and Lana is trying to help her get up there.
The ones lagging are Jackie and Mandee, they aren't good with climbing, but for some reason Zach is good at it, and Rusty is being dragged behind. "Dude, how are you this good at climbing?!"
Zach smirks. "I just imagine that I'm going up the tree to get a good look at the UFO. Whoa, I should use this for when we have gym class rope climbing man!"
(The Organic Juice Store.)
Luna and Sam are handed the drinks, but Luna doesn't like this and Sam knows why. "You don't have to drink it Lunes..."
"No, I gotta try." Luna drinks it, but it doesn't taste bad and she can identify what it is. "Hmmm, orange slices, lemons, whole wheat and... I think this is, beet root. Huh, doesn't taste so bad." This makes Sam happy, her girlfriend is chill with it now, or maybe it is just the drink she just tried.
But then they see Lincoln and Jordan barfing, and so Sam finishes her juice, and she identifies what it is, they get their clue, and they go over and tend to Lincoln and Jordan. "Are you alright, little brother?"
Lincoln continues to barf, but then he speaks. "Salad Oil, mushrooms and... Horse radish, all mixed with fish oil."
Jordan then barfs, and she speaks. "We are never ever coming back here, ever again!"
"Agreed." the nearby trash can, it is Stella and Rachel. Yup, this place sucks.
(Tall Timbers Park.)
The sail boats are in the Lake, and everyone is headed to their flag, and Luna manages to make sure this course is not off the chat, and she knows how this works thanks to Sam, they had a small sail boat trip on this lake once, and they had fun doing it.
They then see Lincoln and Jordan sail ahead, and Jordan cheers. "It pays to have a dad who runs a shipping company, and has awesome water based family company trips!" They then sail ahead, and this makes Luna and Sam smirk, and they try to catch up.
But they are all confused when they see Chloe and Clyde are ahead of all of them, and they wanna know... which one of them is an ace with sail boats?
(Larry Berry Bakery.)
The teams are all here, and then Mayor Davis speaks. "Congrats for reaching here folks, now this challenge will have each of you to make an Apple Pie! First team to finish, wins it!" They all get to baking and it seems like some are not having an easy time with this.
Luna and Sam know how to bake, heck they have known how to cook for some time, but they see Lincoln and Jordan are catching up and some are struggling to make a pie, but they hear a blast and they see Albert is covered in batter. Myrtle chuckles and they try again.
But then Mayor Davis uses her keyboard to make a horn sound. "Times up folks, we have our winners. Clyde and Chloe win, and bonus, they're Apple Pie tastes amazing!" She then goes to Clyde and Chloe and she hands them their reward.
Clyde then hands the ice cream pass to Chloe. "Best that you hold onto this. I don't want my dad's to take this away and have me use it only once." Chloe accepts, but when she grabs the free ice cream pass, their hands touch and both Chloe and Clyde blush.
Lincoln and Jordan notice this, and they smirk. They can tell that something is stirring between those two, and they all cheer and congratulate the winners, despite the fact they were lagging throughout most of the challenges, slow and steady wins the Astonishing Race Quest.
As they all cheer for the winners, a car drives by and inside is Selena Williams and she scoffs seeing this, and she glares at Mayor Davis. 'Just you wait, when next month comes and I win the election, everything will go my way from now on! No one will stop me, and everyone will see that I am always right!'
