Time to see how they are doing, after what had happened. Then to know who the heck crashed into them, and this is going to be a very serious ordeal to put into action, and a major change for someone to make amends after what she did from the story "Luna Rock n' Not." Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 44: The Crash Aftermath...

(November 5. Royal Woods General Hospital. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

The light is bright, and someone is awake. That someone is Lori Marie Loud, and she looks around and sees where she is. "What? Wait, am I in the hospital?" Lori tries to get up, but then she can feel pain, and she is surprised when she sees the cast on her left arm. "What? W-What happened to me?"

Lori is confused, and she is trying to recall, but then she remembers now. "We hugged, we shared emotional issues and... The truck, Jordan?!"

Then the door opens, and the loud sisters come in. "Lori!" They all go over and check on her.

Lori panics as they go near her, but then Michelle stops them. "Stop, guys give her some space." she then looks towards Lori. "Are you doing fine? Lori, are you alright?"

Lori is confused. "Michelle, how long have I been unconscious?"

Michelle explains, and the others seem nervous. "Lori, you have been blacked out since yesterday, and you're friends did come here and are super concerned about what you guys went through. Oh god, Lori. We're so happy that you're alright now."

Lisa then continues. "That cast on your right arm, will be with you till the end of next week. Sorry, Lori. But that is what took more damage after the crash."

Lori is surprised to hear this, then she sees Leni has tears. "Leni, are you alright?"

"Lori, we were so worried about what had happened!" said Leni. "We just... You're a hero."

Lori is confused when she said that. "Wait, wait. What? Leni, what are you talking about?"

"Lori?" She then sees, Jordan Rosato. She has some bandages on her, and she looks like she got a black eye, which is healing. She also looks kinda tired. "Are you okay?" Jordan goes over, she is escorted by Lincoln, and she sits on the bed, and then she has tears and hugs Lori.

Lori is baffled by this, and then Lincoln hugs her, and he has tears. "Thank you, Lori. Thank you for saving my girlfriend, and we were so worried after you took the hit for her, and everything else."

Lori is surprised and confused, and she can't remember. "Guys, what happened to us after the crash?"

Lincoln and Jordan depart from the hug, and then Lincoln asks. "Wait, Lori you don't remember?"

Lori shakes her head in denial. "Sorry, all I recall is that I felt like a failure to spend time and bond with Jordan, and make up for what I have done, then we talked and shared some emotional issues and baggage, and then we hugged and I was going to promise to show that I can be very responsible, and then I heard this loud honking and then saw the front of this big truck, and then everything went dark."

Dr. Kendrick heard everything as he went in. "That is a normal thing, you had a concussion to the head, but we patched it up. Jordan, she remembers what had happened."

Jordan then explains. "Lori, you hugged me so tightly to save me from the crash. Vanzilla took the major hit and was knocked off the road, and then slammed somewhere near the Burnt Bean, and then hit a Lamp post which then landed through the window of the café."

"I saw everything as well" replied Lucy. "We were there, the Wring Club. We went out, and we saw the wreckage of Vanzilla, and so we went to help, but then the door opened and Jordan came out with minor injuries, and dragged you out and we called the others and 911 for help."

"She told us that you saved her, you took the hit and became unconscious. You saved the life of Jordan Rosato, and also the parents are coming to say thanks at this very moment."

Lori is shocked, and she sees Jordan has tears, and so does Lori. "Oh gosh, thank god you're alright!" Lori then hugs her, and Jordan returns the favor, and they both cry and are glad the other is alive, well and awake. The others are touched seeing this, but Lynn is ticked off.

"That stupid truck driver! Glad he's dead!"

That one shocks Lori. "Wait, what?!" they then depart from the hug. "Lynn, what do you mean?!"

Lynn Jr then continues. "Lori, the truck that hit you went out of control, and then struck itself into a construction site, and I was walking by the area with my friends, and we saw the truck go in and then slam to a steel girder and then causing some girders from above to come down, and impale right through the truck like a knife through butter."

Lisa then explains. "The girders have been exposed to heat for so long, and were near a generator that the crew were using, and so they pierced right through the truck, and then through the driver, and from the reports. He was impaled, through the top of his skull and then penetrated through his body and then through his seat."

The sound of that makes Lola go to the trash can and throw up, seeing her vomit makes Lynn Jr takes a few steps away, and Michelle notices this.

Lori is baffled and she couldn't believe what she just heard. "Wait, why did that scum literally hit us for?!"

"Let me explain that." Dr. Kendrick then informs them. "Got word from the cops to tell you guys this. That truck was headed back to the factory, owned by Walter Tetherby, and some investigation was made and they found out that the rich freak wanted the truck to come in a hurry and don't bother hitting anything, he will cover the costs, but he didn't see the whole van in the way to get hit and then lose control."

"Police are now issuing a warrant of arrest to Walter Tetherby since he is the reason why he truck went into full speed, causing the employee to break multiple traffic laws, and then attempted murder, and damage to private constriction property, and that construction site was building a museum, which will then be delayed because of what had gone down."

Michelle then speaks. "I have issued a lawsuit on Tetherby, and my friends at the firm will handle this because they all have had their eyes on him for some time, and many of them refuse to work for the old freak. At least we'll get some payback from that rich pompous maniac."

Luan then speaks. "Looks like Tetherby is going to be loose in change when we're done with him."

Dr. Kendrick looks to Luan. "Wait, what? I didn't get that joke."

Lori is relieved to hear this, then she feels Lincoln and Jordan embrace her, and so she hugs them back. "I'm happy everything is alright now. At least you're alright, Jordan. That is all that matters."

Luna then goes over and she smiles. "Lori, you did an awesome and brave thing. We're all grateful for what you did, and we hope you can recover soon. You truly have shown, that you're a protective sister. We're all proud of you, Lori."

Lori nods. "To redeem for everything I have done, and to be the big sister I was meant to be." They then continue to talk about what they plan to do, when they have dealt with Walter Tetherby and his actions, the actions of multiple traffic laws broken, the death of his stressed out employee, and the attempted murder on Lori Loud and Jordan Rosato.

Michelle then has an idea coming up. 'Hmmmm, I have the papers done and ready, perhaps we can do more than just lawsuit Tetherby. After all, we have every evidence at the firm about everything he has done, and all of this might just be enough, to lock him up for good, and then we wouldn't have to deal with him, ever!'

(Timeskip. Afternoon.)

Lori is still on the hospital bed, and she has Lincoln and Jordan asleep, and next to her, and she pulls them close with her arm and she makes sure they aren't disturbed. The duo didn't wanna leave her, they didn't wanna lose her because she did an awesome and heroic deed, one that Jordan will truly be grateful for.

Lori is happy that her friends from school came by to visit, and the Rosato parents are truly grateful for what Lori did in order to save their daughter, but all Lori is happy about, is that Jordan Rosato is alive and well. She took the hit and she made sure this kid still had a long life to look forward to.

Lori feels like she earned back forgiveness and trust, from both her brother Lincoln Loud, and his girlfriend, Jordan Rosato. 'Lori, you did it. You earned it back, after the trouble I caused and the anger I showed to this girl who has done no wrong to me. But, I will continue what I promised, and be the true big sister that the family needs. At least the trouble is over...'

Lori sees her phone ringing, and so she checks who it is and she sees it is from Ronnie Anne, and she is confused. 'What the heck?' so, she reads the text.

Lori, this is Bobby. I just wanted to check on ya. I don't mean to be a bother and all, and I decided to borrow my little sister's phone and see how things have been-

Lori then deletes the message and then she turns off her phone and then puts it away, and she is now annoyed. 'Is he serious right now? We're not supposed to talk to each other until the end of the dang year! Ugh, when I do talk to him next year, he is getting an earful from me!'

Lori then calms down, and she slowly closes her eyes, holding Lincoln and Jordan close to her, and she drifts off to sleep with them. The eldest in the family, has truly proven herself that she is the big sister that the loud family needs, something she lost long ago.

A/N: Lori Loud is a dang hero, she did an awesome job and Jordan Rosato is okay, next is seeing how the results went, with Walter Tetherby. I hope that you guys enjoyed reading this new chapter.
