Chapter 30 Hot Spring Inn
An's POV

When I was a kid, there was a woman who moved away from Vivid Street to open up a hot spring inn. When she found out I was getting married…she offered to let me and Akito spend a night at her inn for free!

And so, that's how we found ourselves at the train station the day after our wedding.

"Bye, An-Chan", Kohane greeted. "Bye, Shinonome-Kun! I hope that you two enjoy the hot springs inn!"

"Yes", Toya greeted. "Please enjoy yourselves at the inn."

"You two have fun", my dad said.

"Thanks you guys", I said. "We definitely will!"

A few moments after I said this, the train arrived.

"Well", Akito started as he picked up our bags. "We'd better get going. We'll see you guys tomorrow."

"Bye guys", I greeted, before hoping onto the train with Akito.

Then, it began moving, and we waved to our friends outside until we could no longer see them.

After being on the train for a few hours, we finally arrived at our destination. We then walked around for a bit, and soon found the hot spring inn.

We walked into the reception, and when we did…I saw a middle aged woman I hadn't seen since I was a kid.

"Yado-Obasan", I greeted excitedly.

"An", she greeted before walking up to me and pulling me into a hug. "Look at you! You're all grown up! You look so beautiful!"

"Thank you, Yado-Obasan", I said.

"And is this the man who managed to steal your heart", Yado asked as she looked at Akito.

"Yep", I replied, before linking my arm with his. "This is my husband, Akito!"

"It's so nice to meet you, Akito", Yado greeted. "But with that being said, you'd better take good care of An. You hear me, mister?"

"Yes ma'am", Akito said. "I'll take care of her. I promise."

"Good", Yado said. "Now then, let me show you to your room."

…

After we settled into our room, Akito and I went off to the male and female baths respectively.

The inn wasn't that busy, so I ended up being the only one in the bath.

I got in with my phone (which was thankfully waterproof) in hand. Then…all of the female Virtual Singers suddenly appeared on it.

"Hey there, everyone", I greeted.

"Hi An", Rin greeted. "Thank you so much for taking us into the hot spring with you!"

"Yes", Meiko agreed. "This is quite relaxing."

"I'm glad that you all like it", I said. "Now then, let's enjoy some well-earned relaxation!"

That Night

Once we enjoyed the baths, Akito and I returned to our room before having dinner.

As we we're eating, I suddenly held up my glass of sparkling grape juice.

"A toast", I said. "To our marriage!"

"Yeah", Akito said as he knocked his glass against mine. "And to our future together."

Hearing Akito say this made me smile.

"Right", I agreed. "To our future together."
