Chapter 34 Pregnant?
Akito's POV
I opened my eyes one morning, and when I did, I saw that An was not next to me.
I sat up, and then…I heard someone throwing up.
I got out of bed and went to the bathroom, and when I got there…I saw An throwing up in the toilet!
"An", I exclaimed before rushing up to her.
Then, I kneeled down besides her and rubbed her back until she was done throwing up.
"Thanks Akito", she said weakly as she turned to face me.
Then, I helped her up so that she could sit on the toilet.
"Are you okay, An", I asked. "You've been throwing up for a few days now."
After I said this, I put my forehead on top of An's.
"You don't have a fever though", I added.
"I'm fine", An reassured. "My stomach's just been feeling off for a few days, that's all."
"Are you sure", I asked.
"I'm sure", An replied.
"If you say so", I said. "But if you get worse, go see a doctor. Okay?"
"Yes, sir", An said, before standing up. "Alright then. We'd better start getting ready for school."
That Afternoon
It was our lunch break, and Toya and I were on our way to the canteen.
However, as we were walking through the halls, I spotted An…who was holding onto Mizuki and Nene.
"An", I exclaimed as I rushed up to her. "Are you okay? What happened?"
"An fainted during class", Mizuki revealed. "So Nene-Chan and I were going to take her to the school nurse."
After Mizuki said this, I grabbed onto An, and I picked her up bridal style.
"Thanks", I said to Mizuki and Nene. "I'll take it from here."
"Do you want me to come with you, Akito", Toya asked.
"Nah", I replied. "I'll see you back in class, Toya."
…
We were in the nurse's office, and An was explaining her symptoms to the her.
"I see", she said. "Shiraishi-San, I know that this may be a bit personal, but is your period late perhaps?"
"My period", An asked in confusion. "Let me check."
With that, An took out her phone and looked at an app.
"Wait a minute", she started. "I am late. By quite a bit actually."
"I see", the nurse said. "Shiraishi-San, I believe that there's a possibility that…you may be pregnant."
An's POV
When the nurse said this…my heart stopped in my chest.
"Pre…pregnant", I said in shock. "I'm…pregnant?"
"I'm not sure", the nurse replied. "But the symptoms that you described to me are similar to the ones I had when I was pregnant with my child. I suggest that you go to the doctor after school to confirm it."
I was too in shock to answer. Then, I looked over to Akito…and saw that he was just as frozen in shock as I was.
Then…I placed my hand over my stomach.
I may be pregnant?
