Chapter 36 Welcome Home
Tsukasa's POV

Winter break had arrived, which meant I could finally return to Japan!

I had gotten off my plane, and was now looking around for my loved ones.

"Where are they", I asked myself.

"Tsukasa-Kun", I heard a familiar yell very loudly.

Then, before I had time to react, I was suddenly tackled to the ground!

Once I regained my composure, I looked up, and I saw Emu smiling down at me.

"Tsukasa-Kun", she exclaimed. "Welcome home!"

When I heard this, I couldn't help but smile.

"Thank you, Emu", I greeted as I sat up.

I then looked around, and saw Rui and Nene.

"Greetings, Rui and Nene", I greeted as I stood up. "Behold, your star has returned home!"

"Well", Nene started. "The peace and quiet was nice while it lasted."

"Is that anything to say to me when I have just returned home", I asked angrily, resulting in Rui giggling.

"It's good to have you back, Tsukasa-Kun", he stated.

"Onii-Chan", I heard another familiar voice exclaim.

I then looked up…and saw Saki.

When I saw her…I couldn't help but get a bit emotional.

She then ran up to me, before giving me a hug.

"I missed you so much", she said, before looking up at me and smiling. "Welcome home, Onii-Chan!"

"I missed you too, Saki", I said.

Then, Toya walked up to us.

"Ah", I started. "Greetings, my soon to be brother-in-law!"

"Hello, Tsukasa-Senpai", Toya greeted. "Welcome home."

After this…I heard a voice I had been longing to hear say my name.

I looked up, and then…I saw the woman I loved.

"Ichika", I breathed out.

"Tsukasa", Ichika said.

Then…tears started falling from her eyes.

I walked up to her…before pulling her into a hug.

"It's okay, my love", I reassured, before pulling away and cupping Ichika's face with my hands. "I'm home now."

After I said this…a huge smile came to Ichika's face.

"Welcome home, Tsukasa."

After Ichika said this, I pulled her back into a hug.

Finally, we were together again.

Ichika's POV

After all these months, Tsukasa and I were finally together again.

However, as we were embracing…somebody suddenly cleared their throat.

I looked up, and when I did…I was surprised at who I saw.

It was the girl Tsukasa was with in his homecoming photos.

"Tsukasa", she started as walked up to us. "Who…who is this girl?"

"Allow me to introduce you two", Tsukasa started. "Ichika, this Seiryuuin Sakurako. She's a performer from Phoenix Wonderland just like me. Sakurako, this is Ichika, my beloved girlfriend."

When Tsukasa said this, a look of shock came to Sakurako's face. But also…it was a look of sadness.

"Girlfriend", Sakurako repeated. "I…I didn't know you had a girlfriend, Tsukusa."

"Really", Tsukasa asked. "Did I never mention her before?"

"Not to me at least", Sakurako replied, as she looked down sadly.

"Are you okay, Sakurako", Tsukasa asked in concern.

"I'm fine", Sakurako stated. "I'm just tired from the trip. Anyway, my parents are probably looking for me, so I should go find them."

"Ah", Tsukasa started. "Okay. See you later, Sakurako."

"See you later, Tsukasa", Sakurako said.

Then, she looked at me, and she almost seemed angry.

Afterwards, she left, leaving me to think about what happened.

She looked sad when she found out Tsukasa has a girlfriend. Does she…have feelings for him?
