Chapter 37 Does She Like Him?
Ichika's POV

The Next Day

I was telling my friends what had happened the day before while we were at band practice.

"Huh", Saki exclaimed in shock. "You think Seiryuuin-San has feelings for Onii-Chan?!"

"I'm not sure", I replied. "But, I couldn't help but notice that she seemed kind of sad when Tsukasa introduced me to her."

"Oh no", Saki exclaimed in dismay. "Is she going to be one of those girls who tries to steal other people's boyfriends away from them?!"

"Steal Tsukasa away from me", I said, suddenly becoming nervous.

"Saki-Chan", Honami started. "I think you made Ichika-Chan worried."

"Ah", Saki said, before suddenly grabbing onto my hands. "It's okay, Ichi-Chan! Even if she does try to steal Onii-Chan away from you, she won't succeed!"

"You…you think so", I asked.

"Of course", Saki replied. "Onii-Chan loves you so much, Ichi-Chan!"

After Saki said this, I smiled.

"Thank you, Saki", I said, before letting out a sad sigh. "Still, it would be nice to know for sure what her feelings for Tsukasa are."

"Should we confront her about it", Saki asked.

"I'm not sure if that is such a good idea", I stated. "I mean, what if I'm wrong and she doesn't actually have feelings for Tsukasa?"

"You have a point", Saki agreed. "But then, what else can we do?"

With that, Saki began thinking.

"Wait a minute", she exclaimed suddenly. "I remember Onii-Chan told me that Nene-Chan is good friends with Seiryuuin-San! Maybe we can ask her to find out if she has feelings for him or not?!"

"Is that a good idea", I asked. "Is it right to get Kusanagi-San involved?"

"It's either that, or confronting Seiryuuin-San directly about it", Shiho stated.

"Shiho-Chan's right", Saki agreed. "Plus, if they are friends, then maybe Seiryuuin-San will be more open to Nene-Chan about her true feelings?!"

After Saki said this, I began thinking. Then…I sighed in defeat.

"Okay", I said. "I'll ask Kusanagi-San about it."

After practice, I asked Nene to meet me in the park.

"Hello, Hoshino-San", she greeted, before sitting down on the park bench I was on.

"Hello, Kusanagi-San", I greeted. "Thank you for meeting me here."

"You said that you wanted to discuss something with me", Nene reminded me. "What is it?"

With that, I took a deep breath.

Then…I told Nene what was happening, which resulted in her looking at me in shock.

"Sakurako…has feelings for Tsukasa", she said in shock. "Are you sure?"

"I'm not", I replied. "That's what I want you to find out for me. Is that okay?

After I said this, Nene thought for a moment, before giving her answer.

"Sure", she replied. "I'll see what I can find out for you."

"Really", I asked. "You'd do that for me."

"Of course", Nene replied. "After all, we're friends."

After Nene said this, a smile came to my face.

"Thank you so much, Kusanagi-San", I said.

"You're welcome", Nene replied. "Plus, I also want to know why Sakurako would have feelings for Tsukasa out of all people?"
