Chapter 39 Revealing My Feelings
Ichika's POV

I was in the park with Nene.

"So", I started. "Seiryuuin-San does have feelings for Tsukasa?"

"She does", Nene replied. "But, she said she isn't going to interfere with you and Tsukasa's relationship, because she doesn't want to risk losing her friendship with him."

"Really", I asked in shock.

"Yes", Nene replied, before looking down sadly. "Honestly, I actually feel really bad for her. She's keeping her own feelings buried for Tsukasa's sake."

Nene saying this got me thinking.

(Back then…I kept my feelings buried for Saki's sake. Now, Seiryuuin-San is doing the same.)

After I thought about this…I knew what I had to do.

Sakurako's POV

I was walking Phoenix Wonderland. However…I was suddenly stopped by a familiar face.

"Seiryuuin-San", she said as she walked up to me.

"Greetings, Hoshino-San", I started, with a fake smile on my face. "Are you waiting for Tsukasa?"

"Actually", Ichika started. "I'm here to see you, Seiryuuin-San."

"Huh", I said in confusion. "Why are you here to see me?"

"Seiryuuin-San", Ichika started. "I know that you have feelings for Tsukasa."

Hearing this took me by surprise. Then, not wanting the truth to come out, I scoffed.

"That's ridiculous", I lied. "What makes you think that?"

"Kusanagi-San told me so", Ichika revealed, surprising me even more.

"What", I exclaimed in shock. "She told you?! Why would she do that?!"

"Because I asked her to find out what your true feelings for Tsukasa were", Ichika revealed.

"Wait, what", I asked in shock. "You mean…you already suspected that I had feelings for Tsukasa before I told Nene about it? How?"

"When I met you at the airport", Ichika started. "I saw that you seemed upset when you found out Tsukasa had a girlfriend."

After Ichika said this, I looked away from her nervously.

Then, to my surprise…she suddenly grabbed onto my hands.

This made me look back at her in shock.

"It's okay, Seiryuuin-San", she reassured. "I'm not angry at you."

"You're not", I asked in shock. "But…I have feelings for boyfriend!"

"Yes", Ichika said. "And the feeling of liking someone is a wonderful thing. You shouldn't be ashamed it."

After Ichika said this, I smiled sadly as tears started forming in my eyes.

"Damn it", I said. "I really wanted to hate you, but you're too nice. No wonder Tsukasa loves you so much."

After I said this, Ichika smiled at me.

Then, that smile suddenly became a serious look.

"Seiryuuin-San", she started. "I think you should tell Tsukasa how you truly feel about him."

"Huh", I exclaimed in shock. "You want me to tell your boyfriend about my feelings for him?!"

"I don't want you to keep your feelings buried inside", Ichika replied. "I did that before. It isn't nice."

Ichika saying this got me thinking. Then…I heard another familiar voice speak.

"Ichika", he said. "Sakurako?"

After hearing this, I looked up…and saw Tsukasa.

"Tsukasa", I said in shock.

"Are you okay, Sakurako", he asked in concern as he walked up to me. "It appears that you've been crying."

"I…", I started. "Ah…"

After I said this, I looked at Ichika…who nodded.

Seeing this…I was filled with determination.

"Tsukasa", I started. "I have something that I need to tell you!"

"Huh", Tsukasa said in confusion. "Okay?"

"I'll give you two some privacy", Ichika said.

Then, she left…and I looked at Tsukasa.

With that…I told him how I truly felt about him. But…I also told him that I knew that he would never feel the same way.

"Sakurako", he said in shock when I was done. "I…didn't know that you felt that way."

After Tsukasa said this, I looked away from him.

Then…he suddenly put his hand on my back…and pulled me into his chest.

I couldn't say anything. I just froze up in shock.

"I didn't tell you that I had a girlfriend", Tsukasa said. "I unintentionally led you on. I hurt you. I'm sorry."

After Tsukasa said this…tears started falling from my eyes.

Then…I wrapped my arms around Tsukasa's torso.

After a few moments, he pulled away, before putting his hands on my shoulders.

"Sakurako", he started. "Although I do not have romantic feelings for you, I have come to see you as a dear friend."

"You…have", I asked in shock.

"Yes", Tsukasa replied. "And I hope that we can continue being friends after this."

After Tsukasa said this…I looked at him in shock.

But then…I smiled.

"I would like that very much", I replied, resulting in a smile from Tsukasa.

Then, I turned my head to look at Ichika, who was not so subtly hiding from us.

"You should go to your girlfriend", I stated.

"Okay", Tsukasa said. "Sakurako, thank you for being honest about your feelings."

I simply nodded. Then, Tsukasa rushed up to Ichika.

As I watched the two of them together, I remembered what Nene said.

Once they did finally get together, they both seemed really happy.

After I thought about this, I looked up at Tsukasa…and saw how happy he seemed with Ichika.

Seeing this made me smile.

(I hope they continue being happy together.)
