Chapter 49 Leaving Again
Taukasa's POV

Winter Break had come to an end, which meant that…it was time for me to return to New York.

Currently, I was at the airport, saying goodbye to my loved ones.

"Waaaaaaaaaaaah", Emu cried out as she held tightly onto me. "Tsukasa-Kun is leaving again!"

"I know, Emu", I said, before pulling away from her slightly. "But I'll be back again before you know it."

"You pinky promise", Emu asked as she held up her pinky.

"I pinky promise", I replied, before linking my pinky with hers.

Then, I turned to look at the rest of my troupe members.

"See ya later, Tsukasa", Nene said.

"Good luck with your studies, Tsukasa-Kun", Rui said.

"Thank you, my troupe members", I said. "I wish you all the best in your shows as well!"

After I said this, I walked away from my troupe…and up to my sister.

As soon as I got to her…she ran into my arms as tears started falling from her eyes.

"Onii-Chan", she cried out. "I'm gonna miss you so much!"

"I will miss you too, my dearest little sister", I said.

Then, I pulled away for her slightly so I could look at her.

"But", I started. "I am very happy that I was able to be here to witness some very important milestones in your life."

"I'm happy that you were here for those moments too, Onii-Chan", Saki said, before hugging me again. "I love you so much."

"I love you too, Saki", I said.

Then, I pulled away from Saki, before looking at Toya.

"Toya", I started, before putting my hands on his shoulders. "Please look after Saki for me."

"I will, Tsukasa-Senpai", Toya reassured me. "I promise."

After Toya said this, I smiled at him.

"After all these years", I started. "You and I are officially brothers."

After I said this, I pulled Toya into a hug.

He froze up for a bit. Then, he hugged me back.

Afterwards, I let go of him. And then…I walked up to Ichika.

"Ichika", I said, before grabbing onto her hands.

"Tsukasa", she started, as she held back tears.

Then, she ran into my chest as she let those tears fall.

"It's not fair", she stated. "Just when I got used to having you back, you have to leave again."

"I know", I said.

Then, I also pulled away from slightly Ichika so I could look at her.

"But Ichika", I started. "There's something you need to know. Every time I leave, I will always come back to you."

"Promise", Ichika asked.

"I promise", I replied.

Then, I picked up one of Ichika's hands, which was the one she wore the ring I got her on, and I kissed it.

Afterwards, I looked at Ichika one last time…before letting go of her hand.

I started making my way towards the gates. I turned to look at my loved ones one last time, and then…I left.
