Chapter 51 Makes Me Happy
Saki's POV

I walked into Weekend Garage, and when I did, I saw An.

"Hey there, Saki", she greeted. "Are you looking for Toya?"

"Yeah", Saki replied. "Do you know where he is?"

"He's out doing something with Akito", An revealed. "But he should be back soon. Why don't you sit down and have a drink? Toya tells me that you like bubble tea, and I've been experimenting with making it. So you can be my taste tester if you want to."

"Really", I asked excitedly.

"Yep", An replied. "Just hang tight while I make it for you."

…

An had finished making the bubble tea, and I was busy drinking it.

"So", she started. "How does it taste?"

"It's so yummy", I replied happily.

"Really", An asked. "I'm glad that you like it, Saki!"

After An said this, she turned her head to look at the corner of the room.

I followed her gaze, and when I did…I spotted a mommy cat with four kittens!

"Kitties", I exclaimed excitedly.

Then, I rushed out of my seat and up to the kittens before kneeling down besides them.

"They're so cute", I exclaimed.

"I know, right", An asked as she walked up to me.

Then, she smiled before sitting back down.

"You know", she started. "When I saw Vivi give birth, it made me nervous about giving birth myself."

"It did", I asked.

"Yes", An replied. "But then, when the first of the kittens was born…I realized something important."

"What did you realize", I asked.

"Even though the process of giving birth is not a pretty thing, what you gain at the end makes it all worth it."

After An said this, I began thinking.

"An-Chan", I started. "Tell me, how did you feel when you found out you were pregnant?"

"Shocked", An replied. "Confused. And even scared. Honestly, I still am. But also…I'm happy."

"You are", I asked.

"Yes", An replied. "I'm carrying a child created by me and the man I love. How could I not be happy?"

After An said this…I looked down as I began to think.

That Night

I was sitting on my bed with Toya.

"Are you okay, Saki", he asked in concern. "Ever since we met up at Weekend Garage, you've seemed lost in thought."

After Toya asked this…I took a deep breath.

"While I was waiting there, I talked with An-Chan", I revealed. "She was talking about how happy she is to be carrying a child that she and the man she loves created, and…it made me realize something."

"What did it make you realize", Toya asked.

"It made me realize that…I want that too."

"Saki", Toya started. "Are you saying that…you want to have a baby?"

After Toya asked this, I took a deep breath.

"Yes."

After I said this, Toya looked at me in shock.

"But of course", I started quickly. "What you want is important too! And…"

Before y frantic rant could continue, it was suddenly cut off…with Toya's lips on mine.

"Saki", he started as he pulled away from me. "I want that too."

"You…do", I asked in shock.

"Yes", Toya replied, before cupping my cheek with his hand. "Nothing would make me happier than having a child with you."

After Toya said this, I smiled, before kissing him once more.
