Chapter 62 Missing You Today
Saki's POV

I woke up one morning…and immediately felt a bit sad.

It was my birthday. However, it would be the first birthday I spent without Tsukasa.

"Onii-Chan", I whispered, as tears threatened to fall from my eyes.

Then, I felt someone's hand on my cheek.

I looked up, and I saw Toya.

"It's okay, Saki", he said. "You can cry."

With these words, I let the tears fall. Then, I nuzzled my head into Toya's chest as he wrapped his arms around me.

Then…my phone suddenly started ringing.

We said like this for a bit. Then, my phone began to ring.

I let go of Toya before turning around to pick up the phone. Then…I saw the caller ID.

"It's Onii-Chan", I exclaimed.

Then, I quickly answered the phone.

"Onii-Chan", I greeted.

"Hello, Saki", Tsukasa greeted. "Happy birthday, my dearest sister!"

After Tsukasa said this…I started crying again.

"Saki", Tsukasa started in concern. "What's wrong?"

"I'm sorry", I apologized. "It's just…this is the first time you're not here with me on my birthday. I miss you so much, Onii-Chan."

"I miss you too, Saki", Tsukasa said.

He then paused for a moment, before continuing to speak.

"Is Toya there", he asked.

"He is", I replied.

"Please put the phone on speaker", Tsukasa instructed.

"Okay", I said, before doing as told. "You're on speaker, Onii-Chan."

"Perfect", Tsukasa said. "Greetings, Toya!"

"Hello, Tsukasa-Senpai", Toya greeted.

"Toya", Tsukasa started. "Did you receive the package I sent to you?"

"I did", Toya replied.

"Huh", I said in confusion. "What package?"

"It's a birthday gift", Tsukasa revealed. "Please give it to Saki, Toya."

"Of course", Toya said, before looking at me. "Please give me a moment, Saki."

With that, Toya quickly got out of bed before going to a spot at the side of the room. He then pulled something out from the spot, before coming back to the bed.

"Here you go, Saki", he said.

Then, he took my phone from me, and I took the box from him.

I unwrapped the box, before pulling something out from it.

It was…a small plushie…that looked like Tsukasa.

When I saw it, a huge smile came to my face.

"It looks just like you, Onii-Chan", I said. "Did you make it yourself?"

"I did", Tsukasa replied. "This way, in some shape or form, I will always be with you."

After Tsukasa said this, I held the plushie close to me as I began to cry once more. But this time, I was crying because I was happy.

"Thank you so much, Onii-Chan", I said. "I'll treasure this gift forever."

"You're very welcome, Saki", Tsukasa said. "I must get going, but I hope that you have a wonderful birthday."

"Bye, Onii-Chan", I said. "I love you."

"I love you too, Saki", Tsukasa said. "Farewell."

With that, Tsukasa ended the call.

Toya put down the phone, before looking at me.

"Are you okay, Saki", he asked.

"I'll be okay", I replied.

Then, I wiped away my tears, and a look of determination came to my face.

"Alright", I started. "No more crying! Onii-Chan wouldn't want me to be sad on my birthday, so I'm going to go and have fun with my friends!"
