Based on the episode called "Tails of Woe" but with some changes thanks to "Marvelomac1010" Thanks dude, I had fun making this too. Enjoy reading this newly posted chapter everyone.

Chapter 83: The school mystery and tail...

(December 14. Royal Woods Elementary School. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

The Red Ferrari of Michelle drops off Lincoln Loud, and the younger louds, and they head over to the school, and Lincoln goes to meet with his friends and his girlfriend, and he asks them. "Hey guys, got everything for the Wednesday Share at class?"

Clyde nods and he has this light blue book. "Heck yeah, I got my dream journal."

Liam then speaks. "I brought my prized piglet!" The piglet is wearing winter clothing.

Zach then speaks. "I brought a photo of my very first UFO sighting, back when we went to visit Witch Mountain, and I question why they call that mountain that when it should be called UFO Sighting Mountain!" They all don't know what to say about those words.

Rusty then has his thing. "I got this mural of me." they seem a little freaked out by that. The others also brought some stuff that they hold dear. The Black belt that Leslie earned after the months of hard training with Delilah,

Then Jordan speaks. "Brought the Golden Hooped Earrings that my grandma gave to me before she passed away, and they are a family heirloom."

Lincoln smiles. "They make you look pretty." This makes Jordan blush and giggle at his words. Then Lincoln asks Stella. "What about you?"

Stella then shows them music box. "This..." They are amazed by it, and the twins Lola and Lana see this too. "My granny and I found this last month at a yard sale, and so we tinkered with it and now it works, it's so nice and cute." The twins wanna see it, but Lucy drags them, they need to go to class.

They all are amazed and like it. Then Jordan asks. "What about you, Linc? What did you bring?"

Lincoln then has his necklace. "This, the one thing I always wear and hold close to me." The silver necklace that has a silver locket, and inside is a picture of a 5 year old Luna, holding her 1 year old baby brother, Lincoln. The girls thought it looked cute. "Yeah, I know. I look adorable back then."

They all head into the school, but something from the vents sees them, and squeaks and then races away, this little thing has its sights on what three kids have brought to the school.

(Timeskip. Class time.)

Later, everyone has finished showing everyone about what they brought to share. They even found it adorable and touching about the one with Lincoln, which was the day he called Luna his 'Mama' and he never forgot, and that made their love stronger, and Luna's devotion to her brother an unbreakable bond.

Then came Stella. "Alright, Stella. What did you bring to share?" asked Mrs. Johnson.

Stella then checks her bag, and something is wrong. "Wait, what?! My music box, it's missing?!"

The others are surprised. "What?!" They also help her search, and then Leslie speaks. "Mrs. Johnson, Stella is telling the truth. Stella had a music box, and it looks awesome and cute."

Mrs. Johnson also sees the others also talking about it. "Alright then, I believe you. Stella we can reschedule and do it tomorrow."

Stella nods, but she is confused and she asks. "Where the heck is it?"

(Timeskip. Lunch Time.)

Everyone is enjoying their lunch, but Stella isn't and Leslie tries to comfort her, she feels bad for what had happened. Rusty is about to ask about a food trade, but then Polly stops him. "Not the best time, Rusty." Rusty sighs and he eats his own lunch.

Regina then speaks. "This just doesn't make sense, what the heck happened to that music box?"

"Yeah, I mean that thing can't disappear like that, and Stella doesn't have any holes in her bag" replied Hope. "Also, that bag is brand new too. She bought it three days ago."

Stella sighs. "Maybe I didn't zip it up tight enough, and it fell off?" she seems flustered. "Dang it, I don't know anymore. This is just so... Where the heck is it?"

Zach then speaks. "Well, I don't wanna be that guy, but I think that the Rat Beast took it." Rusty, Liam, Zach, Mollie and Kat gasp, and their other friends too.

They all are confused, but some aren't and Lincoln and Jordan seem annoyed, they know the legend and then Rusty speaks. "Dude, don't joke about that thing."

Stella and the rich girls are confused and then they ask. "The Rat Beast?"

Zach then tells them about the Rat Beast. "The Rat Beast is a Royal Woods Elementary Legend, and it all started at the School Science Lab. An experiment went terribly wrong, and a cage filled with lab rats got caught by the chemicals and they mutated into one giant hideous creature, with glowing green eyes, sharp fangs and claws, and too many tails."

Rusty, Clyde and Zach speak in fear. "The rat beast!"

Clyde then speaks. "That was when things started to go missing, and also odd and strange sounds coming down the halls, but it all gets so creepy when the night comes. Also, if you smell corn chips at the vents, then that is the beast."

This confuses and sorta surprises Stella and the rich gals, but Lincoln and Jordan are not impressed and then Lincoln speaks. "Seriously? This again? Guys, there is no way that something like that would even exist, I mean my sister Lucy travels in the vents and she has never ever once seen or smelled one."

Zach then talks back. "Yeah, well maybe the rat beast is scared of her."

Jordan then speaks. "I just think it's a runaway rat from the lab with small mutations that don't make it a danger. It may have more tails, and also enhanced senses of smell. A mutation to a monster? What is this? Some weirdo monster mania show for midnight stuff? Get real guys, there is no such thing."

This makes Stella suspicious. "Sorry, guys. But I will have to go with Lincoln and the others on this one." The rich girls also agree. "I mean, this rat beast thing sounds like..."

"Something out of science fiction?" Lisa walks by them. "A logical assumption, and a true factor. Besides, I recall a small incident there, and that one rat escaped and those spilled chemicals aren't strong enough for some freakazoid mutation, and so thus the story of how the Rat Beast was made is nothing more than a paranoid wide spread old wives tale." She then heads to meet with Darcy.

Lincoln smirks. "Thanks for the smarty pants and logical explanation, sis."

Stella then continues. "Obviously, a rat and I will find out where it hid my music box."

Zach scoffs. "Well, we tried to warn ya. Beware the rat beast."

(Time skip, later after lunch.)

Jordan heads to her locker, and then she sees something is wrong. "Wait, where the heck my golden hooped earrings are?!" This surprises Lincoln, and he also notices this, and now they are panicking, but Lincoln holds tight onto his necklace. He doesn't wanna lose this necklace.

Hope then looks to the ground. "Guys, corn chips crumbs." They all notice this, and Stella looks determined and so she follows the trail, and so the others follow her. Though, some of them are afraid and don't wanna follow, and yet they have to.

They all reach the boiler room, and then they look around. "Eyes up gang, we don't know where this rodent is" replied Leslie, and they use their cellphones and cellphone flashlight settings to see around the place.

Then Zach smells the air. "Corn chips, and right over there!" They all head around the corner, and then Clyde and Liam push the boxes, and what they see surprises them.

Liam's harmonica, Stella's music box, Jordan's earrings, and the Canadian Penny from Mollie. "No freaking way! That is a lot of... Wait, is that Lola's pink ribbon and baton?" asked Lincoln, they all get the stuff and see some other stuff left there as well.

Stella sees her music box, and when she plays it she sees it is still working. "There we go, still works and still alright." She then puts it in her bag, but then they hear a squeaking sound, and they see the shadow of the rat with green eyes, and it is big.

Zach then yells. "The Rat Beast!" All of them gasp seeing this, and Clyde feels like fainting.

But then they see a rat, a normal sized rat and it has two tails and glowing green eyes. This surprises them. "Whoa. I didn't think it was... Wow, we were so wrong" replied Rusty. But then the rat leaps over, and grabs the necklace of Lincoln.

"No! Give that back!" They chase the rat, and then they see it race onto some boxes, and then go on someone's shoulder and that someone is...

"Norm the Janitor?"

"What the heck are you kids doing down here?" asked Norm the Janitor.

Jordan then speaks. "We were looking for our missing things, and we now see that the Rat Beast did it! That thing took the things from a lot of the students!" They then show him the missing things, and this surprises the man, and Norm looks to the rat.

"Cinnamon! Is this true?!" He then sees the necklace. "Hand it over, that belongs to someone else." The rat then hands the necklace to Norm, and then he hands it back to Lincoln and he checks on it, and then wears it.

Lincoln then looks stern. "You are so lucky that it didn't get harmed, because I swear my mom, and my sister will make some changes, and also what the heck are you doing with that thing?"

Norm the Janitor then explains. "Cinnamon and I go way back, he was a former resident in the school science lab and boy was he good company during the late shifts. But then one fateful night, we were having such fun that I forgot to lock the supply closet and the bag of corn chips was at the very top, and that's where the accident happened, and the chemicals spilled on Cinnamon here. Turning him into... Well, this and I don't want folks experimenting on him. He's my friend."

They are a little surprised to hear this, and then Norm the Janitor continues. "I am so sorry about the missing things, you should return them and I guess I should keep a closer eye on this little guy. I don't want anyone else's things going missing. You kids won't tell anyone, will you?"

Stella then speaks. "If Cinnamon will stop taking things that doesn't belong to him, no matter how nice it looks, then we are..."

Lincoln intervenes. "Sir, a lot of things have gone missing, and has been going around since some of us were in the 5th grade, and I know that because Liam lost his harmonica at that time. I honestly don't know what else you are gonna do, but we're giving that guy three chances and if he breaks them then we will have to inform Principal Huggins, and then major changes will be made, we don't wanna get you into trouble, but your friend will be the sole reason why. Okay?"

Norm the Janitor sighs and he nods. "Okay, okay. I understand." The group of kids then take their leave and then Norm looks to the Rat, and then he has an idea. "Perhaps, I think it is time that you went home, with me."

(Timeskip, after school.)

Lincoln leaves the school, and he waves goodbye to his friends who all head back home as well. Lincoln then sees vanzilla, and so he goes inside and he sees it is just Lori and Luna. "Hey, Lincoln. How was school today?"

Lincoln then makes an excuse. "Everything is fine, sis and we all enjoyed our Wednesday Show and tell moment, it was awesome and..." Then Luna's phone goes off, and they see who it is, and then Luna looks annoyed.

"Dang it, Katie Crest again."

This also annoys Lori. "Is she still trying to get you to change the rules?"

Luna sighs and she nods. "Yeah, and it is just so dang annoying. I swear, I am going to rip her head off one day, but I have a new plan." Luna then replies, and sends a message that she wants to talk to her, tomorrow and it is a very serious and important thing.

A/N: A different take from the episode called "Tales of Woe". and the janitor needs to keep a close eye on his friend, and tomorrow they deal with Crest. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this newly posted chapter guys, and thanks again "Marvelomac1010."
