Chapter 69 Talent Show
Ichika's POV

Tsukasa's school year had come to an end, which meant it was time for his talent show!

Currently, Saki and I were in the audience to the watch the event with our friends.

"I wonder when Onii-Chan is going to go on", she asked.

"Yeah", Emu said. "I can't wait to see Tsukasa-Kun's performance! I bet it's gonna be super wonderhoy!"

"Quiet, Emu", Nene quietly scolded. "There are people performing!"

After Nene said this, the current performance ended, and the president of the school walked onto the stage.

"Let's give them a round of applause for their wonderful performance", they instructed, which the audience did. "Alright then. Up next is a musical performance by Tsukasa Tenma and Sakurako Seiryuuin!"

With that, the audience applauded as the president walked off of the stage.

Then, music began playing…and I recognized the song.

"Wait a minute", I said in realization. "I know this song! It's a Virtual Singer song!"

After I said this, the curtain rose, revealing Tsukasa and Sakurako.

The two began singing, confirming to me that this was the Virtual Singer song known as Cendrillon.

As the two performed, I watched them in awe, especially Tsukasa.

(Tsukasa is amazing! Even though he's only been studying at this school for one year, he has already improved so much!)

After the talent show, we met up with Tsukasa and Sakurako backstage.

"You're performance was super duper wonderhoy, Tsukasa-Kun", Emu exclaimed. "It was so shiny and sparkly, and it made my heart go ba bump, ba bump!"

"Yeah", Nene agreed. "That performance was amazing you guys."

"Fu fu", Sakurako said. "Of course it was, because Tsukasa and I are both stars."

"Indeed", Tsukasa agreed. "And when you put two stars together, they will shine brighter than even the ones in the night sky!"

"Your performance was indeed something quite spectacular, Tsukasa-Senpai", Toya said.

"Yeah", Saki agreed. "Well done, Onii-Chan! I'm so proud of you!"

"So am I", I added. "Also, I was surprised that you performed a Virtual Singer song."

"I remembered you showing me the song once, my love", Tsukasa revealed. "It felt like the perfect one to perform for the talent show, so I showed it Sakurako."

"You have quite the good music taste, Hoshino-San", Sakurako stated. "Perhaps I'll ask you for more song recommendations in the future."

When Sakurako said this, I looked at her in shock. Then…I smiled at her.

"Of course", I replied. "I'd love to show you some more songs, Seiryuuin-San."

Kohane's POV

As I watched Tsukasa talk with everyone, I looked down sadly.

"Are you okay, Kohane", An asked in concern.

"It's just…", I started. "All of the performances we saw tonight were amazing! The students here…they're way more advanced than I am."

"Yeah", Akito agreed. "I was thinking the same thing."

"Kohane, Akito", An said.

"You have a point", Natsu stated. "When it comes to technical skills, you guys are lacking compared to the other students here."

"Onii-San", Toya started.

"But…", Natsu added. "What you guys lack in technical skill, you make up for in passion."

"Passion", I asked.

"Yes", Natsu replied. "When I watched you all perform at Vivid NIGHT, I could see just how passionate you guys are about music."

"You did", Akito asked.

"Yes", Natsu replied. "So, as long as you guys keep that passion, I'm sure that you'll do fine at this school."

"Natsu's right", An agreed. "Plus, remember that I'll be supporting you both from the sidelines!"

"And even though I won't be physically with you", Toya started. "I'll be supporting you too."

"An-Chan", I said. "Aoyagi-Kun."

After I said this…a smile came to my face.

"Okay then", I said. "I'll do my best!"

"Right", Akito said. "And so will I."

"There you all are", Tsukasa said as he walked up to us. "What are you all standing around for? We must go and celebrate!"

"Celebrate what", I asked.

"Celebrate that I, Tenma Tsukasa, have successfully finished my first year at this school!"
