We're almost there, almost there to ending the year and looking forward to a new one, so it seems best to look back on some things, and prepare for what would come next, and ready for the trouble that might one day return, and let us not forget about the tour on summer. Chapter 97: Looking back, and then forward...

(December 28. The Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

The usual things going around the Loud House, and all of the Christmas decorations have been cleaned up, and Michelle Lewis walks down the attic stairs, and then she goes down the hallway of the second floor, and she checks on all the loud siblings.

Lori and Leni are discussing about some things they should be ready for because of the New Year's Sale, but it doesn't seem like Leni will be with her shopping, because she needs to be ready to be there and help for when the doors open, and the flood of shoppers comes, and Leni found out that Miguel and Fiona will be bringing a boat and oars. Wait, why?

Lynn Jr is not there, she is at her friend, Annabelle McCann and they are watching Sports Bloopers, oh and Lucy is with them too. Lana is at the Park, along with Lisa and they are being watched over by Luan and Jordan Rosato, they need to check in the Fishman's, and how they are hibernating well, with the use of Lisa's new underwater camera drone.

Lola is practicing for the Little Miss Winters of 2023, which is next month. Seeing all of them just doing what they normally do makes Michelle smile, and then she sees Lily is still taking her nap, with her new teddy bears. She then goes to check on Lincoln and Luna, the duo are in the living room and they turn off the TV. "Hey kids, so any other plans for today?"

Luna speaks first. "Nothing good on television, so we're just gonna go upstairs."

Lincoln nods. "Yeah, our special ladies are busy and there's not much to do."

Michelle then has an idea. "Well, perhaps tomorrow if you kids don't have any other plans, we can spend the day together, how does that sound?"

Lincoln smiles. "That sounds nice mom." the trio then go off their separate ways, Michelle goes to her room to check on any calls from work, while Lincoln and Luna go to the bedroom they share, and they just sit on the bean bag chairs and just relax. Lincoln sighs. "Thins sure have changed and become so much more ever since, huh sis?"

Luna smirks and she nods. "Dang right, little brother. So many changes, good ones."

Lincoln then speaks. "Yeah, and it all started so many months ago, and all after the whole ordeal from when I went on another date, with Jordan Rosato. We cleared out the issues of the romance thing that Lori and Bobby thought, but were dead wrong, we put Lynnard and Rita into some much needed help, though now their road to redemption is now ten times, no a hundred times beyond."

Luna knows why, even she hates them for the words that they spoke to Michelle, and they were mean and made her feel like she was nothing, when clearly she has done a lot of good, and for the children too. They need to know if Lynnard and Rita will sort out some way to make it up to her, before they lose more forgiveness and trust, because they just lost it from Lincoln and Luna.

"And they aren't trying to get you into Rock n' Roll anymore, we shut down the corrupted scamming talent show and pretty much changed Michelle Lewis, made some new foes and new friends, and dealt with old problems, and whatever else is coming next year, and along with the plan you have for the summer tour thing, and I know it will work and we can shut down Crest before she does anything else horrible to you or to anyone else. Things are turning out alright."

Then Lincoln asks his big sister. "Luna, I have a bad feeling about Chandler... do you think he will come back?"

Luna then asks. "You concerned about what he will do when he does return?"

Lincoln nods. "Ever since he snapped and lost his cool, and he tried to kill me too. I am kinda afraid of what goes down next, he has lost his sanity and moral compass. Spoiled, and all he seeks is to become the popular one, when clearly I never wanted it and just wanna be with those I call my friends and family, he might do worse for when he does come back."

Luna then goes over and she sits next to Lincoln, and thankfully his bean bag chair is large for two. "Little brother, I am also concerned about that as you are. We don't know what will happen if he does come back and we have to face him again, or Doug Rockwell. We've both made some new foes and made them into something worse, but they did that to themselves when clearly they weren't thinking straight."

"But, we have been through a lot and we have made some issues go away and have them leave us alone, even though there is one issue that hasn't left us for another reason. We can face these odds and send the trouble back, and they are also locked up and not gonna be able to come for us, I promise you that little brother. But if they do return, we can handle them."

Lincoln then thinks about it. "Huh, I guess you're right sis. I shouldn't be worrying about this and just look forward to what we can do when the future is still around the corner, we should enjoy this moment." Lincoln leans onto the side of Luna, and so she pulls her brother close and rests her head onto his, a nice sibling moment.

But Luna does have some concerns about Chandler coming back, and she recalls when Chandler went to the hospital to kill Lincoln while he was down, and that was the plan and it worked and they stopped him, lured him into the trap. Luna knows that Chandler is unstable and demented, with only one goal, and that is to kill her little brother.

'That little punk thinks he can come and kill my little brother, then he has another thing coming. I will not let him bring any harm to my little brother, and I will be the one landing the hurt on him, he will not lay a finger on my brother, he will be sent back if he does come back to harm us.'

(Parish Tranq Juvenile Hall, somewhere outside of Saginaw.)

Alarms go off and all the guards are on the lookout, someone has escaped, but they don't know where he escaped, they instead found so many broken windows. So, they need to find out which way did he went off to, and that escapee is Chandler McCann.

But Chandler didn't take the windows, he found out his cell has a secret tunnel, and so he broke all the windows as a diversion, and then went underground and he is now miles away from the place, and right now he is waiting for his partner.

Then he sees the parking lot, connected to a motel and then a car shows up, a black Porsche and the door opens, and he knows what this means. Chandler races over and he hops in. "about time too, I had to escape a bunch of angry skunks on the way here."

The partner, is Doug Rockwell and he smirks. "Hey, I showed up right kid? Also, it was not an easy way for me to bust out, and I am not going back to the prison, since I may have double crossed my associates and I do not owe them anything. Bunch of pawns. Now, we know what to do right?"

Chandler nods. "Right, I get my revenge and kill off Larry the Loser Loud, and you get your payback and get rid of his stupid big sister, the blonde chick she is with, and also you wanna kill that lady, Michelle Lewis. I know the plan dude, now let's go and get to the killing part."

Doug smirks. "A kid who has the motivational drive, reminds me of myself. Let's do this thing." He then puts on shades and he hands some shades to Chandler, and he puts them on too, then they play the radio theme song. "Bad to the Bone" and they drive off.

But both sides don't know this...

Doug Rockwell just wants to get rid of Michelle Lewis and Sam sharp, and then have Lincoln and Luna forced to make him famous with their musical talent. Chandler on the other hand wants to kill Doug, so he can kill Lincoln and Luna, and perhaps some of the Louds, and then enslave the others.

So, both sides are pretty much making fools of themselves.
