Chapter 98: Returning locked up foes...
(December 29. Ketcham Park. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
We arrive here at the Park, and this is where Lincoln, Luna and Michelle are, and the trio are here to enjoy some peaceful and quiet time, and they are also talking about what they have planned for when the time comes to say farewell to 2022 and hello to the New Year.
"Alright, so next to those plans which we will be having for the night of New Year's eve, I wanna get to the now moment" replied Michelle. "So, a nice stroll around the Park is just the start, then we have some other fun stuff to do, and I was thinking that we could go to the arcade."
Lincoln and Luna know why she is doing this, it's her way to spend time and bond some more with them, since Michelle Lewis sees Lincoln and Luna as her kids, and they see her as their mom, but they don't know that something is about to happen, and it is too late. They see a large pickup truck break through the gates of the Park and headed towards them.
Michelle grabs Lincoln and Luna, and they make a run for it, but the truck cuts them off and is now in their way, and before they can run off, a man and kid wearing ski masks and they knock all three of them out with crowbars. They then bring them to the truck and then drive off, and bystanders at the park notice this and message police. Stella is there, and she saw the license plate.
Carol, Jackie and Mandee saw everything, and they need to call Lori, Leni and the others, that Lincoln, Luna and Michelle have been kidnapped.
(Meanwhile, someplace else.)
Lincoln slowly opens his eyes, he is dazed and confused, and he tries to move but he feels something is restraining him. "Wait, what?!" Lincoln then sees that he has been chained, to a chair and he can't break free, but he is not alone. He sees Luna and Michelle are in the same state, and they look to Lincoln with concern.
"Lincoln, thank god you're alright."
"We don't know what the heck is going on, Linc."
"But we do." they turn to the right, and they see the man who abducted them, and Michelle is surprised. "Doug? What the heck? You escaped? What did you con some poor saps in jail?"
Doug Rockwell remains silent, he doesn't wanna talk about this, but then he speaks. "You are in no demand to make any orders, because I am running the shots now, Michelle!" He then snickers. "Also, my partner and I are not going to be so easy to beat this time too."
They then see the partner of Doug, and it is someone whom Lincoln and Luna know, the kid who wants Lincoln Loud dead. "Hello, losers." Chandler McCann.
Chandler then speaks. "You guys are wondering about what we're doing, well I heard all about what went down with Doug Rockwell here, and it made sense that he would hate you losers a lot for ruining him, seems fair that two different sides come together, for the same goal. Getting rid of you!"
Doug then speaks. "When this is all over, I will make sure Michelle never ever ruins my plans, and you two stupid siblings will be helping me make big bucks, and I'll be back on the top managers board, and knocking off anyone in my way, just as I did when Michelle Lewis became my client, and then her singing voice was pretty much faded out." Hearing that angers Michelle Lewis, she wants to rip his head off.
Lincoln then speaks. "You're never gonna get away with this!"
"Oh, but I already have, and with my partner..."
"Change of plans!" Chandler then hits Doug with the crowbar, and he falls to the ground. "I am running the shots now!"
Doug is in pain as he is on the ground, and then looks to Chandler. "But we're partners!"
Chandler scoffs and then he explains. "Partners? Us? Please, we're not even in the same league, and you're a loser. I used you to get to them, so that I can kill off Larry the loser and his dumb sister, and perhaps take the better, older and hotter ones, and then kill off the rest, and then probably take this whole town!" He then stands before Doug. "And now, you're pretty much useless to me, dude."
Chandler then lands one more hit, and Doug Rockwell is knocked out, and has a cut to the side of his head, then Chandler turns around. "Now, for the real reason on why I am here..." He then looks towards Lincoln Loud, and then he speaks. "Now, I am going to end your miserable and pathetic life, but before I do... I wanna break you, and make you suffer."
"And what better way to do so, by making sure your stupid close sister break as well, and I mean "break" I mean it..." this horrifies them, and they know what he means and Chandler snickers. "I learned a lot of adult stuff and dark things when I was locked up, and perhaps this hot lady here will learn the same thing, and be honored when I break her too."
Lincoln struggles to break free, and Chandler goes towards Luna, but then the doors are kicked open and Chandler sees the rest of the louds, and then Lisa speaks. "Also, everyone saw the license plate on the truck and I tracked it here, you morons."
Then the cops show up, and they tackle Doug Rockwell as he is about to get up, Chandler is about to make a run for it, but instead he is tackled by Lynn Jr, and she slams him to the wall, and then to the ground and then she throws him to the cops, and then they handcuff him.
The others go over and help untie Lincoln, Luna and Michelle. They then embrace them and are glad that they are fine, they came just in time before something bad happens, and Lincoln hugs Luna and Michelle tightly and has tears, they know that he is afraid of what happened if they didn't make it in time, and the horror he would've been forced to witness.
At least now, it is over and they're okay.
(Outside.)
The cops have Doug Rockwell taken to a medical facility before he is sent off to jail, again and it is the same place where he escaped, and there are some friends of his there, who want to have a chat with him. The louds are talking about what went down, and they are horrified to know about what Chandler tried to do, but then they see Chandler and he is trying to break free.
"No! No, let me go you losers!" But then Chandler stops and he sees his parents look to him with disappointment, shame and fear. They are talking to Michelle Lewis, and she explained what he tried to do. He then tries to call out to them. "Hey! Mom, dad! Tell these idiots to let me go!" But then don't, and they just look towards him with shame and disgrace.
Amelia McCann has tears. "Oh, Chandler... What have you become? Who are you? Why?"
Charlie McCann, he looks angered. "You are... You are an unholy monster, and we have no son."
The McCann parents then take their leave, and this shocks Chandler. His parents, have abandoned him, then he sees Lincoln and Luna, and he kicks the cops in the knee and goes after them. "Die Larry the Loser..." but then he is shocked, by a taser and it belongs to Michelle Lewis, then she goes over, and looks to the boy shocked while standing.
"Come back and harm my kids, then I'll be sure you never walk again!" She then lands a kick to his chest, and Chandler is knocked away to the cops, and they load him into the van, and they drive him off, and via the request from Michelle Lewis, a prison far from Michigan.
The loud kids then go over and they embrace Michelle and she hugs them back, assuring them that this is going to be dealt with. "If they come back, then they will have to go through me, I promise you all that I will be there to protect and help you." she then places a motherly kiss to each of their foreheads, and they see that she is truly a mother to them.
But deep down, knowing that Chandler McCann and Doug Rockwell escaped, they need to be prepared for when they do come back.
