Chapter 123: Another January School come back...
(January 23. Royal Woods Elementary School. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
Monday, and a lot of folks don't like this day, mostly the students coming to school, just as the great cat from comics said. Garfield: "I hate Mondays." Though, they do love what is going to be at the cafeteria, Lasagna.
Michelle's car arrives. Then the door opens, and we see Lincoln come out, and with the younger loud sisters, the sisters all head into the school. Then Luna asks. "Little brother, take care and be safe."
Lincoln nods. "I can handle this, Luna. Those old freaks aren't coming back. Everything is going to be alright." Lincoln then goes over and he hugs his big sister, she returns the hug.
Then they depart and he then walks towards the school, Luna is concerned but she knows that her brother is right, and so Michelle drives off to bring Luna to her school.
Lincoln goes inside, and he sees that his little sisters are already spending time with their friends, and he can hear the discussion from Lucy, as today is the funeral of Ricky the Rooster. Then he goes to his locker, and he grabs the things needed for today's classes.
But then Lincoln feels something is not right, and he turns around and he grabs Jordan and shares a small kiss. "Knew you were coming, and nice try too."
Jordan giggles. "Oh you know what I always like to do, get the jump on you. You have grown up, Lincoln Loud." The duo then head off to the classroom, but then they see their friends come over, and they ask them some questions, but then Clyde intervenes.
"Guys, we talked about this, and also no overcrowding someone in the school."
Lincoln is happy to see Clyde help out. "Thanks buddy." Then he looks to the others. "Everyone, calm down and listen. I am feeling alright, and I am not emotionally scarred, and nobody got severely hurt, and Luna is gonna be fine. She won't be using her shoulder much after she got shot, but it'll be better by next week maybe."
The others are happy to know this, even Tabby is happy to hear this since she is a friend of Luna Loud. Then Leslie shows up and she speaks. "They asked me the same thing, glad Clyde showed up and calmed everyone down. My other friends aren't here yet."
They then hear the school bell ring, and they all head to class. Clyde needs to speak with Zach, they both have made special plans for their one week of space camp. Jordan then asks Lincoln. "Hey Linc, once the funeral of Ricky the Rooster is done, you think its chill for the twins to come to my place?"
Lincoln then recalls. "This has something to do with the dog show? Then alright, I wonder why they didn't pick Charles to just... Wait, I recall now. Charles is grounded for sneaking into the fridge and eating the Buffalo wings, which were supposed to be our dinner last night. We had to order takeout pizza instead, and mom looked furious at what Charles did and she's adding some security to the fridge against the pets."
They then continue their walk to the classroom, and see what surprises pop quiz that Agnes Johnson has for them all, and everyone is not going to like this.
(Royal Woods High School.)
Luna is walking down the halls, and she meets up with Sam. "Hey, Sam. Where are the others?"
Sam then explains. "Alright, so Sully is returning some library books he borrowed and Mazzy went to clean her drums at the music room. Also, I wanna ask how Lincoln is doing, is he alright?"
Luna nods. "Linc is doing fine, but as the older sister and the legal guardian to my little brother, I am concerned about him. I just... What went down that day, was by far the worst thing to have happened, almost the worst thing. The one with Chandler and Doug was still horrible."
Sam then holds Luna's hand. "Lunes, it is normal for an older sister to be so worried about their younger sibling, heck I am concerned about Simon and what he might get into, but I know that right now he's fine and that nothing bad is going to happen. But one thing, Lunes. You don't have to be worried about him all the time."
"Lincoln knows what he is doing, and if he does need some help or comfort, then he'll tell ya. He will speak with you if there is something wrong, he is the man with the plan and he takes up a lot of the talent from you and is dang good at it. You are legit an impact and a figure for him to look up to, and he is brave and strong. You have to just trust him that he can handle things."
Luna smiles hearing this. "Yeah, yeah you're right. Thanks, Sam. I needed that." They then get this text message from their roadie, Chunk.
Chunk – Bad news mates, I'm in the hospital and got me a broken leg. Car crashed into me, and the light was red and I was in the green. Cops handled it, and I am asking you're mum if she can help me file a lawsuit on the bloke who thought it was smart to run the red light. Won't be back on me legs till three days is over.
Luna and Sam are surprised to hear this, they need to know if Sully and Mazzy got the message too.
(Timeskip, Royal Woods Elementary School.)
The funeral service for Ricky the Rooster is done, and they had Tabby perform the funeral song, and we see Huggins and Clyde still crying and mourning the loss of their beloved Rooster, but they know that he is in a better place.
Lincoln then walks out of the school, and he waves to Jordan who goes into her mom's car, and she is joined by the twins, Lola and Lana. They got some dog show training to do, even though Ajax is a dang experienced player when it comes to the dog show.
Lincoln then goes into the car of Michelle, and he sits next to Luna. Luna then asks. "So, where the other little sisters off to?"
Lincoln then explains. "Alright, so Lucy is staying in the school for the mean time, she needs to have a meeting with her friends on who will be the new president of the Young Morticians Club, Lisa is going to spend the day at Darcy's, and then the twins are going to be at the Rosato house, they are going to deal with the whole dog show training thing."
Luna smiles hearing this. "Well, seems like they will be asking for a ride back home later, still how as you're day?"
Lincoln then speaks. "No trouble, except for the usual pop quizzes, but I know that I passed it."
Luna and Michelle smile hearing this, and then they drive off back home to the Loud House, and then Michelle has an idea. "Hey kids, how about tomorrow we spend the day together? Just the three of us?"
Lincoln and Luna liked this idea, and they nod. "Sounds good mom." They both want to enjoy spending time with the lady whom they call mom, but then they have some concerns and those concerns is what will happen to Michelle once Rita and Lynnard are back, they don't wanna lose her or see her leave.
