Chapter Five
Pregnancy + Butter + Sun = A Disaster in the Making

To say that Jay felt horrible as he walked around his and Alex's home this morning was a huge understatement, especially after how he made Alex feel at the beach; how he made her run away from him, and just rush away back to the condo. If there wasn't such a bad reason for why she ran away, then he would be really turned on; but that was not the case, as there was a bad reason why Alex ran away from him. And that would be all his fault. He thought that him doing this for Alex would be romantic, a great surprise, and just an all around great idea. But that was not what it was. Rather, it was a horrible idea. The reason? Alex ended up throwing up all over his shirt while they were walking down the beach, and he can credit it to the butter having gone bad while it was sitting out there this morning; he just knows that's the case. And that's why he was now here, hoping to join his wife in the shower so that he can make her feel better ahead oof them just taking it easy.

Because that's what they're going to be doing today, they're going to be taking it easy; he's going to hold her in bed, and they're going to breathe. That's what they need to do, and it's what they're going to do today; and if Alex doesn't want to do it, then he's going to try his best to persuade her to do it…just like he's going to try and persuade her to let him join her in the shower. But unfortunately, that was going to be harder than he first expected as Alex locked him out; she locked the door to their primary suite bathroom, where she was currently crying. He could hear the tears, and it just broke the husband's heart. How his wife's heart was currently breaking over what she did. He just wants to hold her so bad, and he wants to tell her that everything is okay; because everything is okay, and everything will always be okay. He just needs to tell Alex that, as he holds her in his arms right now. But first, he has to get into the washroom with her; then he can hold her.

Knocking on the door to their washroom this morning, Jay took a breath. "Alex, open the door for me babe. Open up Alex, and let me in so that I can take care of you." Alex then went to yell back. "Why? So that I can do it again! So that I can throw up all over you again? No thanks!" Jay sighed as he heard Alex say that, clearly able to hear the pain that she has in her voice right now. "Alex, I forgive you; you already know that, I'll always forgive you baby. You're my world, and I love you more than anything Alex. So please Alex, you need to open the door so that I can hold you in my arms. Then, I can make you feel better; just like I want to do. Alex, I'll take the risk; let me take the risk, as it's mine to take." Alex took a breath when she heard Jay say that, not happy about this; but she does know that it's his risk to take. Just walking up to the door, Alex then went to open it for Jay; which is exactly what her husband wants her to do, he wants her to open the door to her.

Smiling at his beautiful wife, Jay could just see how she feels really bad right now. She feels horrible over the fact that she threw up all over him, and that was not a pretty sight. But when he said that he didn't care, he meant it. Getting close to his wife this morning, Jay smiled as he wrapped his arms around her to hold her tight. At the same time, Alex wrapped her arms around Jay; dropping her towel in the process, Alex could just feel Jay smirk. "Seriously, are you smirking at this? I'm a mess." Leaning back, Jay looked back at the woman he loves. "Hey, that's not true. You're not a mess baby, you're beautiful; and I'm so glad that you're my wife. That's the truth, and you have to know that." Alex took a breath as she heard Jay say that, well aware of the fact that he's always going to tell her the truth about how he feels. "Alex, this isn't your fault." Alex laughed as she heard Jay say that, before walking over to the shower so that she can start it. "Yeah, because I didn't do it."

Jay then went to point something out. "Last time I checked, I was the one who made breakfast for us this morning; and I was the one who put it out on the beach, which meant that the butter went bad because of what I did Alex." Turning around to look at Jay as he said that, Alex just watched as he picked up her towel. After which, he went ahead and hung it up on the hook next to the shower and walked over to her as she stood close to the shower. However, before he made his way over to her, Jay set a fresh pair of lingerie on the counter (along with some boxers for him) on the counter. Turning her head to look at him as he walked up to her at the bathroom counter, Alex smiled as Jay truly is the love of her life; and she's happy over the fact that he just takes such great care of her. And Jay has to know that she loves that about the man of her dreams. Stepping close to Alex as soon as he was at the counter, Jay smirked at the woman he loves like crazy; his gorgeous wife.

Walking up to Alex this morning, Jay smirked as he put his hand on her stomach and then stroked it. Putting her hand on Jay's hand, Alex smiled as she looked at him while he got nice and close to him; after which, she put her hands on his chest and stared into his beautiful eyes. At the same time, Jay put his hands on Alex's arms while leaning in to kiss her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with his wife as his towel fell onto the ground, Jay smirked due to the fact that he now had the ability to make love to his gorgeous wife if he wanted to; but he decided to wait until they were at least in the shower. "I love you." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that he loves her, which is something that she's very much aware of. Jay just loves her more than anything, and she truly feels extremely lucky to have the ability to call him her husband. Moving her arms around his neck, Alex smiled as she felt Jay hold her close. At the same time, Jay put his hands on her sides.

And let's just say that his hands didn't stay there for long, as there was something else that he wanted to do with Alex right now; he wants to get in the shower with her, so that means that he needs to get her into the shower with him. Moving his arm around Alex's back, Jay smirked as he proceeded to pick her up and then set her down on the edge of the counter; which is exactly where his wife needs to be right now, especially when she's turned on like she is right now. She just wants to take things nice and slow with him, he can already tell that's the case. And if that's not the case on her side, then it's most definitely the case on his side; he loves Alex more than anything, and he wants to take things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams, Alex Halstead. Putting his hands on her stomach, Jay smiled as he kissed the future mother nice and slowly. "Listen, I'm going to start the shower okay? Then, we can get in together." Alex agreed with Jay when he said that.

"Go ahead Jay." Jay agreed with Alex as she told him to go start the shower, before moving to put his hands on her neck. After all, he does want to share one last kiss with his wife before he goes ahead and just takes things nice and slow with his girl. Doing just that with her, Jay smirked due to the fact that his wife is well aware of the fact that he loves her more than anything. "I'm going to get in the shower, then you're going to join me." Alex agreed with Jay when he said that, smiling as she watched her loving husband walk away to start the shower (and then get in). And let's just say that she waited a bit to get in the shower, as she wanted to take a nice opportunity to watch the water run down his nice body before she joined him in the shower; however, she didn't want too long. After all, he is a real hunk; and she doesn't want to deprive herself of any extra intimate time that she can get from her husband. The man that she wants to spend some intimate time with.

While normally, Alex would be the one who had her back pressed against the wall; that was no longer a possibility, due to the fact that she was pregnant with the twins. But boy would she love to be in her husband's arms, with him wrapping her legs around his toned body, his arms around her back and just pushing himself against her; and all of that, with the wall firmly behind her providing a nice support system for her body. But right now, this was good enough for Alex; as it still meant that she was able to be close to the man, exactly where she was the be close to him. And that would be in the shower, where Jay can run his soft hands all over her body as he washes her this morning; and boy is he doing a good job washing her, with the soap definitely being a nice feeling (along with the feeling that comes with him kissing her). The way their lips just move against one another's is incredible, and Alex is definitely not going to complain about them doing this.

Running her hands down Jay's body, Alex smiled as she ran her hands down his abs; the abs which are even more pronounced today than they were when they first made love all those years ago, when they were doing it against the express wishes of her father. But now, she had her dream life; and she was extremely happy over the fact that she had her military husband all over her right now, and that she was currently pregnant with their children. Tugging his wife's body against his, Jay smirked as he pulled away from the kiss before bending down and going to kiss her neck. Grabbing the back of Jay's head as he started to suck on her neck, Alex moaned as that was definitely a real turn on. God, her man is so sexy; and she's so glad that this is what they're in the midst of doing right now, especially when she knows that they may not be able to do this in a couple months when she's further along in the pregnancy. She'll be too big to do this.

"I promise, we'll always find a way to do this somehow." Turning her head when she heard Jay say that, Alex smirked as she felt him run his hands up her back. She then kissed him softly, just taking things nice and slow with the man of her dreams as he specifically said that. "I was just thinking the same thing believe it or not." Jay laughed when he heard Alex say that, before running his hand up her back. "And I mean it every single second. I love you Alex, and I want to be able to do this as much as we can; both before we have the kids, and after we have the kids." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, smiling as that was definitely going to be the truth. "Girls, I want girls." Jay was shocked when he heard Alex tell him that she wants girls. "Really? I thought you'd want some sons? I mean, I've always seen you as a tomboy after all." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, smiling as she kissed the man she loves once again. "I promise, I want some girls." Jay agreed with her.

"Good, because I feel the same way; I want some daughters to start our life as parents, because I think they'll be much easier." Alex laughed when she heard Jay say that, because she felt the complete opposite. "Just remember, they will be my daughters. And I am quite stubborn." Jay agreed with Alex. "But you've mellowed, and you've let me drive now." Alex laughed as she heard Jay say that, before putting her hands on his face as she bent down and kissed him softly. At the same time, Jay took things nice and slow with Alex as kissed him; and boy did it also make him smirk, and that was due to the fact that this truly was paradise, and everything that he wanted right now; he wanted to take things slow with Alex, and he just wanted to show her that he loves her more than anything in the world. That will always be the case, as she's the woman of his dreams; and she's also his gorgeous wife, the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life loving.
