Hi Readers: Sorry for how short the last chapter was, and I am really trying to make them longer. However, that doesn't mean that I don't like it when I write something short. After all, that was what we needed right now for that chapter. But now, it's time for me to get this romantic time started; and I definitely can't wait for that to happen, here we go with romance.
Chapter Eleven
One Last Half-Hour of Girl Time
Primary Suite, Casey Home – To say that the wife was ready get away with her husband this weekend was an understatement. She has been waiting for this day for a while, and everything just seemed perfect right now; they would be alone, and just be with each other. And that was everything that the wife and mother wanted right now, time alone with the man of her dreams; and that included time away from her boys. As much as she loved Matteo and Noah, she also loved her husband and was craving some quality time with him; time where they can talk, and so that she can check up on him. Yes, check up on him. And that was especially the case after the recent news that the wife just got, news from back home; and her best friend already knew that was on her mind. Or at least, she thought she did. "Let me guess, you're thinking about how your man is going to be begging to get that dress off of you the moment you get there?" Turning to look at her best friend, Gabby laughed and smiled.
"Some. I'm also thinking about…" Stella nodded. "Otis." Gabby agreed, taking a breath. "I know, I need to concentrate on my husband but…" Stella laughed, agreed with her best friend when she said that. "Yeah, you do. But listen, I actually just spoke to Matt. Apparently, Kelly is there setting something up for you; and my idiot husband decided to not bring a car along." Gabby groaned. "So, what does that mean?" Stella smirked. "Well, that means that wee get one last half-hour of girl time." Gabby was a bit confused when she heard Stella say that. "I'm going to be giving you a ride, so that I can pick up the idiot father of my sons." Gabby laughed as she heard Stella say that, before remembering something. "Oh shit, that reminds me of something." Gabby then walked over to the boys' dresser that she has in here, where she has a bag that she's been meaning to give to Stella. A bag of clothes that she was going to be able to use, including some of the prototypes that they made from ELLA.
"Here, I've been meaning to give you this." Gabby said as she walked over to her best friend, well aware that she was going to appreciate what she was giving to her. Grabbing the back from her best friend, Stella went to go see what was in there; at the same time, Gabby made her way over to her bed so that she could grab her bag. Also, she decided to grab a few extra clothes for Matt; after all, she does know her husband. And she's certain that he missed a few things that he was going to want to have, including some of his favorite swim trunks (which just so happen to also be quite easy to take off). Walking over to Stella this afternoon, Gabby smiled when she saw that she was looking at some of the clothes. "Well, I am so glad that this is what you're giving me. These are adorable, and they look quite expensive." Gabby laughed. "Okay, I may have splurged a bit when it came to what I bought for the boys." Stella laughed as she heard Gabby say that, as that was definitely an understatement.
"Girl, are you kidding? You definitely splurged when it came to what you bought the boys." Gabby agreed with Stella when she said that, smiling at her best friend. "Stella, I've always wanted to be a mom. So, I decided to give them the best I could find; and I am also using it for inspiration for that line." Stella turned to look at her best friend, smiling. "Oh my god. I love the idea that you're already thinking of." Gabby laughed as she heard Stella say that, before putting her bag over her shoulder; after which, she started to walk out of her room with her best friend. "You want to create clothes that are the same quality as those huge companies like GUCCI and Armani, but you want to do it for a better cost." Gabby agreed with Stella when she said that. "By the way, I hope you know that you can always come to me if you want something nice for a date." Stella laughed as she heard her best friend tell her that. "Oh honey, that was already going to happen based on that net worth of yours!"
Gabby laughed. "I know, rich woman problems. But seriously, we're going to make sure to help you guys; and we're going to be giving you guys some back pay to make sure that you guys have money, as we want that." Stella agreed with her best friend when she said that, glad that was the case. "Oh, and I better get some good Baby Shower gifts!" Gabby smiled when she heard Stella say that, definitely ready to do that. That's when Gabby heard her mother come upstairs. "So, I can see that you're ready to go be alone with your husband for a while." Gabby agreed with her mother as she said that, as she definitely was. "Yeah, I'm ready to go spend some time with Matt. I just hope that's okay." Camila smiled when she heard her daughter ask her that, as it was definitely okay. "Gabby, you need some time with your husband; that's not going to change. Also, it gives me time to teach my grandsons some Spanish." Gabby laughed as she heard her mother say that, well aware that she would do that.
"Uhm Stella, can you go downstairs for a minute?" Stella could see that her best friend wanted to talk to her mom for a bit, and just agreed. "Of course. Here, give me your bag and I'll take it down to the car." Gabby agreed with Stella as she said that, before going ahead with giving her bag to her. At the same time, Gabby smiled as she looked at her mom. "So, what do you need to talk to me about sweetheart?" Gabby sighed. "Listen, I just wanted to tell you something." Camila already knew that she needed to tell her. "Let me guess, your dad is going to be coming to help me with the boys?" Yes, they've finally found her father; and he's now in Hawaii, living with Antonio. "How did you…" That's when Gabby heard her father. "I'm here mija!" Gabby just looked at her mom. "God, I meant to talk to you before he came but…" Camila shook her head when she heard Gabby say that, completely understanding why her father was here. "Gabby, take a breath and relax; just look at me please."
Gabby agreed with her mom when she said that. "Gabby, I know that you want your father to get to know the boys better, and I am not going to stop him from doing that; however, I am not giving up my role as head of the house." Gabby nodded when she heard her mother say that, well aware that was the case. "I promise mom, I will make it clear to him that you're in charge. And I also called Antonio to help too, because he's been asking to spend time with the boys; which I really think is Eva asking to spend time with them." Camila agreed with her daughter when she said that, before continuing to walk with her so that they can go downstairs. "Oh believe me, they're already here. Antonio asked your husband to leave work early, so that she could spend time with her grandfather." Gabby agreed with her mother when she said that, before hearing Antonio. "Hey sis!" Gabby laughed, agreeing with her brother. "Antonio, kitchen, now!" Antonio was confused. "Why?" Gabby just glared at him.
"Okay, I'll be in there sis." Gabby agreed with her brother when he said that, before watching as he went ahead and made his way into the kitchen. Meanwhile, Camila turned to look at her daughter. "Is there a reason why…" Gabby smiled at her mom. "Mom, you don't need to know more than you need to know." Camila agreed with her daughter when she said that, well aware of the fact that her daughter always has a reason to do things; and she also knows not to question her about it.
Kitchen, Casey Home – It wasn't long before both of the Dawson siblings were in the kitchen together, and there was a reason why Gabby wanted Antonio to meet her here; she wanted to talk to him about something quite important, especially due to the fact that she really wants to enjoy this weekend with her husband. She hasn't had time with him for a while, and she's really hoping that he can help her our; but just how can he do that? He can keep the peace. She has never left the boys alone with both of her parents yet, and that worried her; after all, who knows what her parents are going to say to each other after what her father did to her mother. Why she decided to marry her husband just weeks after that? She has no clue. All she knows is that she doesn't want a repeat of it while she's having a bit of romantic time with her husband. Smiling at her brother as she walked in, she just looked at her big brother. "So, is there a reason that I've been summoned to your kitchen?"
Gabby sighed as she looked at her big brother, well aware that she may sound crazy to him. "Okay, listen; I know that I may sound crazy for asking you this but…" Antonio then understood what she was trying to tell him. "Let me guess, you want to talk to me about my plans for this weekend?" Gabby just looked up at her brother when he said that, shocked that it was THAT obvious. "Is it really THAT obvious?" Antonio agreed with his sister when she said that, smiling as that was definitely the truth. "Gabby, you're my baby sister. I know you better than anybody." Gabby agreed with her brother when he told her that, before smiling as she looked at her brother. "So listen, our parents are both going to want to spend time with their grandsons; and I know that they are going to be together a lot." Antonio agreed with his sister when she said that, smiling at her. "And that means that they have an opportunity to have disagreements." Gabby agreed with her brother, taking a breath as it was true.
"I hate to even think that's the truth. I'm just…" Antonio then got close to his sister, smiling at her as he wanted her to relax. "Hey, take it easy and just relax sis. I promise that everything will be okay. Everything will be fine, and I'm going to be here. I'm going to be here to take care of your sons with our parents, and make sure that they don't fight in front of the boys." Gabby took a breath when she heard Antonio say that, unable to deny the fact that's what she was worried about. "So, you know what I'm thinking about?" Antonio agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling at his sister before sighing. "It's been on my mind as well." Gabby agreed with Antonio when he said that, smiling due to the fact that her brother is incredible. She then proceeded to get close to her brother and just smiled as she went to wrap her arms around him. Hugging his sister, Antonio smiled as he kissed the top of her head. "It'll be okay sis; our parents will be fine. Just enjoy your time with your husband."
Gabby agreed with Antonio when he said that, smiling as that was definitely something that she was ready to do. "I am so ready to do that." Antonio agreed with his sis, smiling at her. "What are the odds that we get another niece or nephew?" Gabby shook her head, before pushing her brother away. "Don't even think that way Antonio. You're just getting ridiculous right now." Antonio agreed with his sister when she said that, well aware that was the case. "Well listen, I am not going to hold you back any longer; I want you to just take it easy, and I want you to go relax with your husband." Gabby agreed with her brother when he told her that, smiling as that was that she wanted to do as well. She wanted to go be able with her husband, and she wanted to relax with him. "God, I can't wait." Antonio agreed with his sister, smiling as she told him that this afternoon. "I'm sure that Matt made some great plans for the both of you guys." Gabby agreed with her brother, smiling as she thought the same way.
"Oh, if I know my husband; then he has something really good planned. He's just so romantic, and I'm ready to get away with him." Antonio agreed with Gabby when she said that, clearly able to see that she was madly in love with her husband, two and a half years after they got married. "Make sure that you enjoy two and a half years of marriage." Gabby agreed with Antonio as he said that. "Thursday." Antonio agreed with Gabby, smiling as she said that. "Yeah. But seriously, you need to get out of here; and I want you to promise me that you relax. I can take care of our parents, and I can make sure that they don't fight in front of your boys." Gabby agreed with Antonio as he told her that, smiling as that was definitely something that she wanted. She didn't want her parents to fight around Matteo and Noah, so her brother being here was going to be very helpful. "No hookups in my house." Antonio laughed, shaking his head as he heard his sister say that; anyways, not like he's dating right now.
She just finished saying goodbye to her family and sons for the weekend, and she's now outside with her best friend as they got ready to leave. Just making her way over to her car, Gabby smiled due to the fact that she just saw Stella in the driver's seat. While she originally thought about telling her to get out, she decided not to make her get out; that way, she can let her best friend drive her to where she wants to go. She just knows that this is what she wants right now, and she's ready to just go be alone with her husband. And that's definitely something that she wants as well. Going to open the back door to her Tesla Model X, Gabby smiled as she set her bag down. Thank god she decided to take out the car seats, that way she can just have a place to set her bags. But now, it was time for Gabby to get in the front. She then went to open her door and went to sit down. "So, is there a reason that you decided to drive my car?" Stella laughed as she looked at her best friend.
Stella's POV:
When Gabby asked me whether there was a reason why I decided to drive her car, I made sure to remind her something. Going to grab her seatbelt, Gabby then went to buckle up. "Oh, there's a reason why I'm driving. Your husband doesn't want you to know where we're going. So, that means that I need to drive you to the place that we're going." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, well aware that was the case. I then smiled at my best friend as I pulled away so that I can drive Gabby to the place where she's going to leave so that she could be alone with her husband. "So, what do you think Matt's going to think about that lingerie that you're wearing under that dress?" Gabby laughed as I said that, well aware that I knew what she was wearing under that tight dress that she was wearing for Matt. Just pulling away, I smiled as this was going to be a nice time away for the couple. They need to take this time away with each other, and they just need to relax so that they can have a bunch of fun.
"So, what do you think Matt has planned for you guys?" Gabby laughed. "Are we really going to talk about that, when you already know what we're doing?" I agreed with Gabby when she said that, well aware that I already know what they're doing. And I love the fact that I know what they're doing, while Gabby doesn't know anything about what they're doing. It's a great secret for her to keep, and she's just ready to be alone with her man. "I'm sure that you guys are ready to get away without the boys." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "Believe me, I love Matteo and Noah; but mommy's cleared and ready to go." I laughed when I heard Gabby say that. "So, that's why you guys waited to take your first night away with each other; so that you guys can have sex on your first night away." Gabby agreed with me. "Just don't go thinking that I'm going to get pregnant, I want some time without being pregnant right now." I agreed with Gabby when she said that, well aware that was the case.
"And you guys are going to talk about Otis?" Gabby sighed when I said that, agreeing with me as I asked her whether they were going to be talking about Otis; I mean, what topic isn't going to be coming up. "I think we might, but I am definitely going to just approach it easily. And tonight, I want to relax with my man in bed." I smirked when I heard my best friend say that, as I was well aware of the fact that she wanted Matt in bed. "Just make sure that you guys don't get pregnant, you need to relax and wait to have a baby." Gabby agreed with me as I said that, well aware that was the case; after all, she needs to relax with her husband. "I'm glad that you guys are going to relax and have fun with each other." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling at her. "Okay, now about what you and Kelly are going to be doing this weekend." I smiled when Gabby asked me that. "We're going to try and make the nursery together." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling at her.
"Well, I'm sure that you guys are going to love that. I remember doing it, and I think that I really enjoyed that part the most." I agreed with my best friend when she said that, smiling as that was definitely something that I can relate to. "God, I still hate the morning sickness that comes with having to be pregnant." Gabby nodded when I said that, smiling due to the fact that she hated being pregnant. "I'm just glad that we finally have the boys, and I'm ready to just enjoy this life that we have; while also making sure that I do as much for the business as possible. But listen, that doesn't mean that you can just slack off. I want you to make sure that you have designs for me." I agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling due to the fact that I was going to have to do that. "Well, I am so glad that you're still going to be concentrating on your husband." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling as that was definitely something that she was ready to do; and it was going to be incredible.
