Chapter Twelve
Romantic Getaway: Day One, Part One

Master Suite, Casey Yacht – He just finished putting the final touches on their romantic weekend in their bedroom. A bunch of roses on their bed, including some on her side table. And let's just say that this was just the start of their weekend. Another part of the weekend? Well, that would be the chef that Matt hired to make them some really nice meals. Some of them in bed, some of them on the yacht deck under the sunset (including tonight); a bunch of wine and champagne to celebrate their new life together, including their sons. And just everything that's happened recently. Matt really owes this to his beautiful wife, and they both know it; and the truth was, nothing was too much for his wife. She's the love of his life, and his twin boys' sexy mom. God, she is so sexy; and let's just say that the husband and father has been waiting for the day where she would be cleared to have intimate time with each other. And now that the was cleared, he was more than ready to just take things slow with her. And that was something that both he, along with his best friend, knew was going to be the case; especially with this set up.

"Oh, I can see that CEO hopes to get lucky with his wife pretty soon." Turning around to look at his best friend, Matt shook his head as he was shocked that he even just said that. "Careful, before I make you interim CEO and make you do both of our jobs." Kelly smirked when he heard that, before rubbing his hands. "Oh, now that sounds nice. Me in charge of a quarter of a billion dollars." Matt shook his head when he heard Kelly say that, as that was not going to happen. "Last time I checked, the money is still mine. I'm the one that controls the money, and you better stop before I start making you pay rent for your condo." Kelly laughed when he heard Matt say that. "Actually, that's something that I wanted to talk to you about. Me and Stella found this nice place away from the office that we hope that we can use as our new home. So, I'm not sure how we can swing it; but I was thinking to maybe offer my place as a rental for a while, or I can start getting my salary again. I'm not sure." Matt agreed with his best friend when he said that, smiling at her. "Well, I am sure that we can work something out. But I'm not talking now."

Kelly was confused when he heard Matt say that. "Why not?" Matt then turned to look at his bed, showing the roses. "Last time I checked, I'm here to spend some romantic time with my wife." Kelly agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling at him. "Not just romantic time, but sexy time." Matt shook his head when he heard Kelly say that, before walking over to him. Hugging him, he smiled as he knew that his best friend was really happy right now; and that was all that the COO wanted, he wanted his best friend (and boss) to be happy right now. He knows that this is the life that he and Gabby have always wanted, and they have it now. "I am so glad that you guys finally have the life that you guys have always wanted, because you guys deserve it." Agreeing with his best friend as he said that, Matt smirked due to the fact that he felt the same way. "And I think that Gabby is going to feel the same way when she sees just how much work I put into this." Kelly agreed with his best friend, before smiling. "I swear, how did we both get so lucky when it came to finding the women we have in our lives?" Matt smirked, agreeing with him.

"So, what are the odds that we have another baby Casey on the way after this?" Matt laughed. "Not a chance. I know my wife, and she's not ready for another kid. We just want to take it easy and relax." Kelly agreed with his best friend when he said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I'm sure that's the case." That was when Kelly got a test message. Going to grab his phone, he smiled when he saw that it was from Stella. "They're just pulling up." Matt agreed with Kelly when he said that, smiling as he went to rub his back. "Good, that means that you need to get out of there; that way, we can have this nice boat alone." Walking away so that he can go get Gabby, Matt smirked as he was definitely ready to have some time alone with the woman he loves more than anything; and that's everything that the couple both want. Gabby wants to be with Matt, and Matt wants to be with Gabby. But more specifically, he wants to have her in bed; after all, that was everything that they both wanted. And he was sure that they were on their way to bed as soon as they were alone, and their friends were gone so that they can be alone.

Main Deck, Casey Yacht
Walking out to the entrance to their yacht, Matt smirked as he saw Gabby come out of their Tesla; and he could clearly see that she was shocked, especially since she had no idea that Matt even purchased a yacht. But right now, this was not something she even wanted to think about; she wanted to just spend time with her husband. Coming out to see Gabby, Matt smiled as he looked at her. "What do you think?" Gabby smiled at her husband when he asked her that. "Well, this is interesting. What a nice rental?" Matt smirked. "Not a rental." Gabby just stared at her husband when he said that before smirking. "You mean we have this as another place where we can be alone?" Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling as she walked over to him. She then proceeded to wrap her arms around his neck, and leaning in so that she can kiss him softly. "God, I am such a lucky woman." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, smiling due to the fact that it sounded perfect. After which, Matt smiled as he turned to look at Stella. "I hope you know that I want to use this boat in the future." Matt snickered.

"Of course, you guys are going to want to use this in the future." Kelly agreed with his best friend. "And I hope that we can use it, especially after all we've done to help you get this all set up." Matt shook his head as he heard Kelly say that, especially since he was the one that did all the heavy lifting. "Last time I checked, I was the one who did all of the heavy lifting when it came to what I wanted to do for my girl." Wrapping his arm around Gabby, Matt smirked as he proceeded to kiss her cheek softly. He then went ahead and whispered in her ear. "I want to take off this dress soon." Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that, while also looking at her incredible husband; her husband who looks really handsome in the dress shirt that he's wearing right now. "Oh, and I plan on taking this off too." Matt agreed with Gabby, smirking as that just sounded like a great way to relax. They just want to relax with each other, and they want to hold each other close for a while, which they will definitely do. That's when he decided to bend down and leave a soft kiss on her neck as a way to tease her. Smirking, Gabby looked at their friends.

Seeing the way her friend was looking at her, Stella could tell that she wanted them to leave; that way, she and her husband could have some much needed alone time with each other. Time that they can't get all that often now that they're parents, and that she must really want to have with him right now. "I can only assume that's our cue to leave Gabby?" Gabby smiled when her friend asked her whether she was trying to get her to leave. "As much as I love having you guys here." Kelly laughed as he heard Gabby say that, well aware that was the biggest lie that he's heard in a while. "Oh, now of that isn't a huge lie." Gabby smiled as he heard her best friend's husband say that, who just so happens to also be her husband's best friend; and that was something that she was happy about. She loved the fact that her and Matt's best friends are also married. "Kelly, just to let you know; I gave Stella some clothes that you're going to have to sort." Kelly sighed when he heard Gabby tell him that, however that didn't make Stella happy. "You know, I was going to give you some attention after what you did for my best friend."

Kelly agreed with his wife when she told him that, ready to go have some fund with her at home; after all, there's nothing like the feeling of his wife in bed with him. Walking up to her, Kelly smirked as he proceeded to wrap his arm around her. He then leaned in and smirked as he kissed the woman he loves softly. Just taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Kelly smirked when he felt Stella wrap her arms around his neck. After which, Kelly took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "Ok, gross." Kelly then turned to look at his best friend. "Last time I checked, you were just…" Matt then gave his best friend a bit of side eye, before Gabby said what both she and Matt were thinking. "The more you kiss your wife on our boat, the longer it takes for you to get off our boat; and therefore, for us to get out of here." Matt agreed. "Yeah, I just heard Nicole turn on the engines." Turning to look at her husband, she felt a bit jealous. "Who's Nicole?" Matt sighed when he looked at his wife. "Baby, are you really jealous right now? We have two sons."

Gabby laughed as she cuddled up to Matt, just holding him close. "But to answer your question, Nicole is Nicole Adams; the Captain of The SHAY." Gabby was shocked when she heard Matt tell her the name of their ship, The SHAY. "You named the ship after Shay?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him that. "Yes. Now, Nicole is actually married to our First Officer, Chris Adams." Gabby smiled as she looked at Matt and put her hand on his cheek, after which she leaned in and kissed him softly. Just taking things nice and slow with the man she loves, Gabby smirked as she was more than ready to be alone with him. Wrapping her arms around his neck, Gabby smiled as she got close to Matt; at the same time, Matt wrapped his arms around Gabby's back while they held each other close. After which, Matt smiled as he turned to look at Kelly and Stella. "So listen, thanks for your help guys; but I think I need to get this one onto the boat." Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling at her loving husband. At the same time, Matt went to grab their bags so that they can get onto their boat this afternoon.

"Listen, how about you look around a bit? I'll help Kelly and Stella off the Yacht? Then, we can go enjoy this alone time that we've been blessed with." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling as she really liked that idea. "Oh, I love that idea." Matt smirked as he watched Gabby get close to him once more, after which she wrapped her arms around his neck; standing very close to Matt, Gabby smiled as she kissed him softly. Just taking things nice and slow with her loving husband, Gabby smiled as she put her hand on the side of his head before whispering in his ear. "I'm going to look around. Make it so that we're alone please." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, before feeling her kiss his cheek. After which, Gabby grabbed some of her bags and walked away so that she can go find the bedroom; at the same time, Stella just smirked as she knew that her best friend was going to do. At the same time, Matt turned to look at his friends so that he can get them off of the yacht.

Standing with his best friend at his pickup, Matt smiled as he just watched him hold Stella close to him; at the same time, Matt went ahead and gave them something. More specifically, he gave Kelly $200. "Here, take this." Reaching his hand out, Kelly went to grab what his best friend was offering to him. Seeing that it was $200, he was shocked. "What's this for?" Matt smirked as he looked at his best friend. "It's my way of thanking you guys for all that you guys have done for us. Between being the people who help us the most, and just hold us together at times; you guys have really become valuable assets not only to the business, but to me personally. There have been so many times where I need to talk, and you guys have been there every step of the way; plus, you moved here just so that you can help me start a company that hasn't given you a paycheck yet." Kelly agreed with Matt when he said that. "Matt, we understand; and we have a home that you gave us remember?" Matt agreed.

Matt's POV:
When Kelly mentioned that I gave him a home, I smiled at him as that was true. "Yeah, I know that. But there's one thing that you guys haven't had much of, and that's spending money; you guys are still getting paid with rent, and I promise that will change now that I have this. Now that I have this extra money, I'm going to start paying salaries and back pay." Kelly agreed with me. "However, there's something else that you guys have really done for us. You guys have really been our rocks, and you guys have really helped me. Kelly, you've been my right hand in building the business, and I know that you haven't had that much time for dates and stuff." Stella sighed when she heard me say that, as that was definitely the truth. "Yeah, that's the truth." I agreed with Stella when she said that. "So, I want to give you that. Kelly, take your wife out to a proper dinner; and let me pay for it. Take the weekend to yourselves, and just concentrate on your marriage this weekend." Kelly was shocked. "Really?"

I nodded. "I know full well how things can go really wrong in the first few months of marriage, if you don't take that time to be husband and wife. I made that mistake, and I am not just going to stand by and let you make that same mistake Kelly; you're going to take your wife out, and you're going to enjoy this time before you have the twins. Believe me Kelly, your life will change when you have your twins; and it will never be the same. I already knew a bit of what to expect because we had Louie in the past, but I had a rude awakening when the reality hit; when we had the boys, we put our marriage on the back burner, and that's been the case ever since we had the boys. They've been our priority, along with my PTSD, then my mom was MIA for a while, and then her dad went MIA….and I just don't feel like we've have that time together for a while; and that's why I'm doing this for Gabby. So that we can have this time that we deserved to have, when we first got married."

Stella agreed with me when I said that, before going to grab my hand. "I know, things have been hard." I agreed with Stella when she said that, smiling at her. "Now Kelly, I'm not at work on Monday, as I'm taking time with Gabby; and I may even try and stay on the boat if I can. I just…I want to be with my girl for now, especially since it's been five years." Kelly then realized that. "Holy shit. I just realized that." I nodded, agreeing with my best friend; however, Stella was confused as she turned to look at her husband. "Five years since what?" I just answered her question. "It's been five years since Shay died." Stella then realized that, nodding. "And I just…I can't help but wonder if Otis dying has brought anything back, and I just…" Kelly then put his hand on my shoulder, probably understanding. "I just feel like I need to remind her that I'm here, and that we can always talk." Kelly agreed with me when I said that. "How's the Otis thing hitting you?" I sighed when he asked me that.

"Listen, I get I'm no longer the Captain; but it's the third guy in the house that we've lost in seven years. It's a lot to take on, and I just need to talk to Gabby." Stella agreed with me when I said that, smiling at me. "Want me to start thinking about ways we can honor Otis in the company?" I sighed when he asked me that. "Actually, Kelly. Call Cruz and ask him whether he'd be okay if we rename the Slamigan in honor of Otis." Kelly laughed. "That works." I then proceeded to hug the couple, smiling as I was glad that this was what me and Gabby were going to do. "Listen, I have to go because I want to go spend some time with my wife. I want to just take it easy and relax with her." Stella agreed with me as I said that, smiling as she was well aware about just how much he wants to be alone with his wife. "Well listen, you get out of here; go be with your wife." I agreed with Stella when she said that, smiling as I went to hug her one last time; after which, I went to make my way back onto the yacht.

Back on the Yacht, in the Owner's Bathroom:
Standing at the counter in the bathroom, Gabby smirked as she just finished taking off her sexy, tight dress; the dress that was covering up some nice lingerie that her husband was going to enjoy. Looking at the lingerie in the mirror, Gabby smirked as she made sure that it was placed properly; after which, she grabbed her dress and carried it towards her closet. She then proceeded to grab a hanger and just smiled as she went ahead and hung up her dress. Turning to look at the mirror that she had in there, Gabby put her hands on the lingerie that she was wearing and just smirked. "Matt's going to love this."
