Chapter Nineteen
Romantic Getaway: Day One, Part Four
She ended up waking up the same way that she made Matt wake up in bed earlier today, which she was completely fine with; after all, it was the perfect revenge from husband to wife. And just like how she made Matt feel when he woke up, she didn't exactly know where her husband was right now; however, that didn't mean that she wasn't going to go find him. Well, after changing into something that her man was going to enjoy first. And that was the lingerie that she was wearing when they first got here, the lingerie that she changed out of when she went to take a swim. Standing in the washroom while admiring the lingerie that she was once again wearing for Matt, Gabby smirked since it was perfect; and it was also exactly what Matt wanted her to be wearing right now. She just knew that was the case, because he's always turned on whenever she wears lingerie like this. So now, she just had to decide whether she was going to wear a robe while making her way to wherever her husband is. She then decided that it may be the best idea, as she didn't want to run into any of the staff and have them stare at her; not when this lingerie is reserved for the man she loves.
But there was another reason that she wanted to put her robe on, as it was a robe that she's been dying to wear for Matt; a robe that he's going to love just as much as the lingerie that she's wearing for him, as it's quite short and that was intentional. This was a romantic getaway after all, and she wanted to give Matt something to please him whenever she got a chance; that's how much she loves her husband, and it was why she was now on her way to see just where Matt was. She just hoped that it didn't take long to find him. And luckily for her, it wasn't since she just saw a waiter walking through the halls with a pitcher of water. "Oh, Ms. Casey. My apologies if I woke you up." Gabby smiled as she heard the waiter say that, smiling at him as she put her hand out. "Please, call me Gabby. What is your name?" The waiter then proceeded to shake his boss' hand. "Hunter Jacobs. I'm your waiter." Gabby smiled when she heard the water say that. "Well Mr. Jacobs, you must know where my husband is if you're walking around here." Hunter smiled when he heard Gabby say that, as he definitely did know where her husband is. "He's in the cinema watching some…" Gabby smiled.
"Baseball?" The waiter agreed. "Chicago Cubs at St. Louis Cardinals." Gabby agreed with Hunter when he said that. "Oh Hunter?" The waiter then proceeded to agree with his boss. "Yes Ms. Casey?" Gabby smiled. "Can you bring me an Apple Cider? Cold?" Hunter agreed with Ms. Casey after she asked him to bring her an apple cider. "In the cinema?" Gabby agreed with Hunter, smiling as he asked her whether she wanted her cold apple cider to be served to her in the cinema. "Please." Hunter agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling as he went ahead and walked away so that he could get her the cider that she wanted. At the same time, Gabby proceeded to make her way into the cinema where her husband was currently relaxing; or so she thought. Little did the wife know that he was also using this time to work on some business plans, as well as responding to some e-mails that he was getting from employees; well, less employees, and more some of their friends who are also some higher up executives at the company.

Hi Will and Natalie:
I just got your texts about the jobs that you guys want to offer to some of your friends from Chicago Med, and I think that the people you chose are great people. Especially Choi as he can help in the PTSD clinic especially, since he's also a veteran with PTSD (maybe). However, I know that you are thinking about trying to get Maggie from there too; and I think that you should hold off from poaching her first. I don't want to take too many of the ED staff, since we are really just starting this. I am still trying to figure stuff out. And while I do have the money to hire them, I am hoping to get all of the Casey Fire positions filled first (which Kelly is taking care of). At the same time, I am also trying to get Casey Police off the ground. Plus, there's licensing that needs to be done with regards to that.
I think right now, you just need to concentrate on getting your licenses so that you can practice medicine here in Hawaii. Thanks.

He just finished sending the e-mail that he wrote to Will and Natalie about hiring Maggie (and other doctors) from Chicago Med, which is something that he really hopes that Gabby isn't too mad at him about for sending; but he does still need to make sure that the company works, and he doesn't want to have some of his executives go rogue and hire people without thinking about some of the repercussions that may have. He, after all, does want to maintain good relationships with Gaffney Medical Center; and that's due to the fact that he believes that they would be an excellent resource that they can tap into for anything that they need. But right now, they were not going to poach too many people. And the truth was, Matt was done work for a bit as he heard Gabby walk into the cinema so that she could be with him. "I see that you snuck away to do some work." Turning his head when he heard Gabby, Matt got a bit nervous. "Hey, when did you wake up?" Gabby shook her head when she heard Matt say that, well aware that he was worried.
"Hey, there's no need to be worried Matt; I already expected this to happen at some point." Matt let out a sigh of relief when he heard Gabby tell him that. After all, he does need to work at times since he's the CEO of the company. He then took a breath as he saw her standing there in a robe. "I'm done working for now though, I want to spend time with my girl." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, before smirking. "Does it have anything to do with the fact that I'm wearing a robe right now?" Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before moving his Microsoft Surface to the side; that way, Gabby has a clear way to get in his lap. That's something that he really wants after all, for his gorgeous wife to just sit down in his lap and let him touch her; which is definitely something that Gabby plans on letting Matt do. She wants him to touch her, and she's so glad that this is what they're going to be doing right now. Walking over to him, Gabby just smirked as she went ahead and took off the robe that she was wearing to reveal her lingerie to Matt.
Staring at Gabby as she was just wearing the robe, Matt was shocked. "Damn." Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that, well aware that he really liked it when she wore lingerie like this. Just making her way over to him, Gabby smiled. "I can only assume that means that you like the lingerie that I'm wearing right now?" Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she asked him that, as he most definitely did like the robe that she was wearing for him right now. "Oh, without a doubt; I definitely do like the lingerie." Getting up, Matt smirked as Gabby made her way over to him; after which, he moved his hands to her hips and got close to the woman he craves. Putting her hands on his chest as Matt put his hands on her hips, Gabby smiled as she looked up into his eyes, before feeling him step close to her and wrap his arms around her. At the same time, Gabby ran her hands up and down her man's toned chest. "Hi you." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before putting his hand on her neck and proceeding to kiss her softly. "Hi beautiful."
Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, well aware that he loves to flirt with her; and the truth is, so does she. She loves the way her man flirts with her, because it's a real turn on; and she's glad that he's flirting with her right now. Just taking things nice and slow with Matt, Gabby smirked due to the fact that this was exactly what she wanted right now. She wanted to have him close to her as they hold each other close, and he kisses her nice and slowly; after all, he is the man of her dreams, and she loves him more than anything in the entire world. However, it wasn't long before her robe was soon off of her body and on the ground; right where they both want it to be right now. Bending down to pick Gabby up after he threw her robe onto the ground, Matt smirked as he wrapped her legs around his waist and put his hands on her back. Kissing her softly, Matt smirked as he loves this woman more than anything in the entire world. "God, I love you so much; and I am so glad that this is how you decided to come join me in here." Gabby agreed.
"I mean, it's just fair. My husband is wearing his boxers for me after all." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, as that was definitely the case; he was wearing his tight boxers for the woman he loves, which was everything that she needed to know. She just needed to know that Matt wanted to give her exactly what she wanted, and that was him pleasing her in the best way possible; and boy was the exactly what Matt was in the midst of doing right now, especially when he bends down and kisses her neck softly. Carrying her to the couch at the same time, Matt smirked due to the fact that he really does have a beautiful wife. A wife that he loves more than anything in the entire world. And if Gabby didn't know that before, then she most certainly knows it now; with him running his hands all over her body and everything. It was why she was currently pleasing him like she is right now, because she loves her husband; and it's also due to the fact that she wants him to run his hands all over her body right now. "This is different lingerie last time I checked."
Gabby agreed with Matt as he mentioned that she was wearing different lingerie than the lingerie that she was wearing while they were still in bed with each other, as there was a reason for that; and that was so that she could tease him. "I wanted to tease you and make you feel special." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby tell him that, because that was exactly how he felt right now. He truly felt special, and not just because she was wearing this for him; but because she's the woman that he gets to love each and every day. "Listen, let me sit down in the recliner; then you can sit in my lap as we cuddle." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that. "How about first, you bring your laptop to your office? You're done for a bit." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, before smiling as he went ahead and set her down on the ground. Stepping close to Gabby once again, Matt smiled as he wrapped his arms around her and then bent down to kiss her softly. "God, you are so damn sexy." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, smiling as she kissed him.
"And you are quite handsome Mr. Casey. Now, just go do what I want." Matt agreed. "Stay standing for now, then it's easier for me to sit down." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, prepared to do just that as he isn't going to take long.
He just finished putting his laptop in his office, and was now back with his wife in the cinema; and that meant that it was now time for him to cuddle up to his girl. The woman he loves more than anything, and the only woman that he can truly ever see himself with for the rest of his life. That's just a fact, and Matt is very happy over that fact; this is his dream life, and Matt is more than ready to spend the rest of his life loving the woman of his dreams. And so far, that's exactly what the husband has been doing ever since they moved here to Hawaii; and what a great life the couple have here, especially since they have Matteo and Noah. Just making his way back into the theatre, Matt smiled when he saw that Gabby was being served a drink by Hunter. "Thanks Hunter." Matt then looked at his wife, confused as to what drink she just got. "What drink did you just get babe?" Turning around, Hunter was a bit nervous when he saw his boss there; after all, he didn't offer him a drink. "Your wife asked for an apple cider. Would you like anything Mr. Casey?"
Matt smiled. "I'll take one of my beers." Hunter agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling at him. "And please, don't be nervous; if Gabby asks you for a drink and you don't bring one for me, then that's fine." Hunter agreed with his boss when he said that, smiling as he proceeded to walk away so that he could get his boss his beer; at the same time, Matt smiled as he looked at his beautiful wife (who was also looking at him while smirking). "You scare him." Matt snickered when he heard Gabby tell him that he scares Hunter. "I bet that's true, but we both know that he has nothing to be scared of when it comes to me; after all, I am not going to bite." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling as she looked at the couch since she wanted him to sit down. But first, Matt came to walk over to his beautiful wife; putting his hands on her hips afterwards, Matt smirked as he got close to her and then leaned in to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams, Matt smirked as this was exactly what he wanted to do.
Smiling as Matt did that, Gabby wrapped her arm around his back as she continued to kiss him softly. "I love you." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, smiling as he loves her more than anything. "Then listen, how about you sit down now? I want you to sit down so that I can sit in your lap." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby tell him that, as he wanted the same thing. He wants to hold Gabby in his lap as she cuddles up to him. "Believe me, I want the same thing too." Gabby agreed with Matt, before smiling as she watched him grab a blanket that they have so that they can be comfortable; after which, he sat down so that he could get his girl in his lap. At the same time, Gabby smirked as she turned around and then came to make her way into Matt's lap; the lap that she plans on relaxing in for a while, as it's exactly what she wants to do. But first, she went ahead and set her drink down on the side table; that being due to the fact that she didn't want to spill it all over her loving husband. "Thanks for setting it down." Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling.
"It's because I don't want you to be all sticky when I sit down in your lap." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, well aware that was one of the reasons why she set her drink down; plus, he didn't want that either. However, it would mean that he gets to take a shower with his girl; and that is quite tempting, which he'll tell her in a moment. Moving to sit down in Matt's lap, Gabby smiled as she cuddled up to him while wrapping her arms around his torso and slipping her legs in between his; at the same time, Matt moved the recliner into a more comfortable position. This allowed him to be both comfortable, and happy as he was holding Gabby in his arms. Putting her hand on Matt's chest while laying her head down on his shoulder, Gabby smiled as she felt him move his hand to hers while stroking it with his thumb; turning his head, Matt then smirked as he left a soft kiss on her forehead. "Comfortable?" Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling as she turned her head and looked up at her dreamy husband. "Oh, I am definitely quite comfortable."
Matt smiled as he heard Gabby tell him that, before proceeding to bend down so that he could kiss her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with his beautiful wife, Matt smiled as this was exactly what he wanted to do right now; he wanted to hold Gabby in his arms, while also kissing her slowly. And it seemed that Gabby wanted to do the same thing, as she was hungry for the kisses that he was in the midst of giving her right now. Moving his hand to Gabby's neck, Matt smirked as he kissed her slowly. "Somebody's hungry for their husband." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt tell her that, as she most definitely was a bit hungry for him. "Sorry, but I had to wake up alone in bed last time I checked." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling as he knew that was the case. "Sorry about that, and I really mean that. I just…you were sleeping for a long time." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "Yeah, it's called being tired because you have a really sexy husband, and two boys to take care of." Matt agreed with Gabby, smiling at her.
He then bent down and proceeded to kiss her once again. "With your loving husband's help of course." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, because he most certainly does help; that's not something that she can deny. "Yes, and boy are the boys lucky to have somebody like you as their father." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before proceeding to kiss her forehead softly. "And they're just as lucky to have someone like you as their mother, I hope you know that Gabby." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt tell her that, before laying her head down on his heart as they cuddled up to each other in the theatre; and let's just say that this was really nice, because it was quiet here in the theatre. And not just in the theatre, but on the yacht too. It hasn't been this quiet in a while, and she likes it. "Is it bad that I like this quiet?" Matt looked down at his wife when she asked him that, not understanding the question that she just asked him. "What?" Gabby took a breath as she looked up at Matt this evening. "Is it wrong for me to not miss the boys?"
Matt smiled as Gabby asked him that, before pressing his lips to her forehead. "No, because I feel the same way. I like this alone time that we're getting, because I've missed my wife much more than I'm missing our sons right now. Sure, I love the boys more than anything; but there's something about us being alone that makes me really happy." Gabby agreed with her husband when he told her that, glad that she wasn't the only one out of the two of them that felt that way. After all, that would be horrible if she was. But now, she's just taking it easy and relaxing with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "What do you think they're doing right now?" Matt smiled as he heard Gabby ask him what he thinks their sons are doing right now, because that was something he is wondering. "I think they're having fun with their family, and they are happy to see that their parents are out in the world having fun; while they enjoy some time with their abuelo, abuela, and their uncle Toni." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, as that was exactly what she was thinking too. There was just something in her heart that told her that was the case, and she was never not going to believe her heart; especially not when she wants to just enjoy this time that she's having with her hunky husband, Matthew Casey.
"You know, I'm really happy that we did this. I think we needed this much more than we even knew." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, because he feels the same way; especially since it means that he gets to hold Gabby in his arms like this, and wrap his legs around hers while cuddling up to her on the couch (that was actually what he just did). "You like wrapping your legs around mine, don't you baby?" Looking down at his wife, Matt smiled as he ran his wedding band up and down her spine while also grabbing his drink. Quickly taking a sip, Matt smiled as he answered Gabby's question. "Of course, I like it baby; I love holding you in my arms, and always will love holding you in my arms." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, before laying her head down on his heart; after which, she felt Matt kiss her forehead softly. However, that didn't mean that she didn't want to just ignore something that was on her mind right now. More specifically, the conversation that they had about the surrogacy thing. "Matt, can we talk about something?"
Matt nodded as he ran his hand up and down Gabby's back. "Hey, of course we can baby; you know that we can always talk whenever you need to." Gabby took a breath as she looked up at Matt, a bit nervous about this; yet, she does feel like they need to talk about it. "Matt, I just want to make sure that you're okay with that decision we made today. The decision where we would…" Matt took a breath when he heard Gabby say that, well aware of just what she was trying to bring up again. "Do you want to talk about it?" Gabby sighed as Matt asked her whether she wanted to talk about "it". The "it" being them doing surrogacy next time. "I just want to be on the same page." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that. "Then let's have that conversation again."
