Hello Readers: What did you guys think of today's second chapter? Do you like the new details that I added for Matt's PTSD? Do the points that I made make sense, and align with the storyline that was portrayed on the show? I would love to know what you guys think, as I think that I am writing it properly; however, I am not entirely sure. I would love to hear your feedback on how I did, and whether there are other things that I should include when it comes to her PTSD. Thanks again for reading. Chapter Twenty-Seven
A Deep Dive into Matt's PTSD, Part Two

"Right before you started at the academy, when I almost died."

As Matt mentioned the first time that the couple almost lost each other, Gabby took a breath as that was not a good day; she has a lot of bad memories from that day, as she thought that she was going to loose the man that she loves. And she was going to loose him, before she ever really got him; after all, they hadn't exactly dated much. It was so early into their relationship; a relationship that almost never happened, simply because of what happened. And even worse, she had to leave right away; and that was due to the fact that she and Shay had to take care of a patient, at least if she remembers that correctly. "God, Shay hated that day." Matt was confused when he heard Gabby tell him that Shay hated that day. "She hated that day? How about me? I hated that day too, as it had lasting effects on my life." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, before smiling at her loving husband. "She was trying to balance both helping ME get through it, while also trying to help Kelly get through it at the same time; he was taking it hard actually."

Matt took a breath when he heard Gabby say that, as he understands why Kelly would've taken him getting hurt hard. "Well, I can definitely understand why that would be the case. I mean, it was a literal repeat of how Andy died. So, that would've meant that both of his best friends died in the same way, on the shift that he was working." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, before proceeding to grab his hand. She then smiled as she stroked Matt's hand and leaned in to kiss him softly. Taking things nice and slow with the man that she loves more than anything in the entire world, Gabby smirked due to the fact that she was really happy right now. "I swear, I am so happy that you survived." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, before smiling as he proceeded to push a strand of hair behind her ear; after which, Matt smiled as he brought Gabby close to him. Gabby then put her hands on Matt's chest and just smiled due to the fact that this truly is everything that she wants to do right now. She wants to be alone with her man.

"Sorry about waking up so early without telling you by the way." Gabby shook her head when she heard Matt say that, as she didn't want him to feel bad about the fact that he woke up; especially not when she was glad that he let her sleep, she was quite tired to tell you the truth. "It's okay baby, and I really mean that; that's due to the fact that I really was tired." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, smiling due to the fact that this is something that she's really happy about. She then leaned in and smirked. "But listen, I know we talked about how Kelly did it; but I want to know about how you felt about almost dying. And do you want to talk about the thing where you said goodbye to me?" Matt took a breath when he heard Gabby say that, well aware that she hates that. "Are you still mad at me about that?" Gabby looked at her husband as he asked her whether she was still mad at him about when he said goodbye to her. No, we already went through that baby. I understand now, and I remember. But I do have questions about it if that's okay?"

Matt agreed with Gabby when she asked him whether it was okay if she still had questions, because that's definitely something that she's okay about; and even better, it means that they can maybe go deeper into what might be causing his PTSD. "What exactly do you have questions about?" Gabby took a breath when Matt asked her what questions she has about the fact that he almost died, twice. And that was just a hard time in their lives, as she thought that she was going to loose her husband. "I know we already talked about it while we were in the RV, but…" Matt shook his head when Gabby said that. "Hey, it's okay baby. This is different. We had that conversation as a way for us to try and get back to a place where we can talk to each other, and have a healthy marriage; this conversation is about my mental health, and my PTSD." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, before smiling at him. "I think we did it while we were in a hotel actually, taking a bath with each other." Matt smirked when he heard Gabby say that.

"I can only assume that you're starting to think about us taking a bath with each other?" Gabby smiled when she heard Matt say that, as that's not something that she wants to do right now. "No, we're not taking a bath right now. We're still talking right now." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, smiling due to the fact that he's quite happy right now. He then leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly, which led him to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything. While he knows that they should keep talking, he just can't resist kissing his wife. "Sorry I want to kiss you so bad." Gabby shook her head when Matt said that, before putting his hand on her face and just took things slow with the man she loves once again. "So, you were asking me something; something about what I was thinking when I said goodbye to you?" Gabby agreed with Matt when he asked her that, because that's definitely something that she wants to know; but she does remember that they talked about it. "We already talked about it."

Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, before proceeding to grab her hand. "I just want to state some things again, the reasons why I did it; the reasons that you understood at the time, which I want to make sure that we're on the same page?" Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that. "I like that idea." Matt took a breath when he heard Gabby say that, before looking at her. "I just want to remind you that we weren't in the best place at the time, and we were fighting; and I just didn't want to have the last words that I said to you be the last words, I wanted them to be full of love." Gabby agreed with matt when he said that, smiling as she felt him run his finger up and down her leg. At the same time, Gabby put her hands on his chest and just smiled due to the fact that she was incredible happy at the moment; after which, she leaned in and kissed him softly. Taking things nice and slow with her incredible husband, Gabby smirked due to the fact that this is exactly what she likes to do. But now, she does need to get back to their topics.

They need to keep talking about his PTSD. "So, I think we both know that there's something else that we need to talk about. There has to be more." Matt took a breath when he heard Gabby say that, as there is more; some of which are related to her, but he doesn't want to say those yet. He just wants to get the other quick one that he needs to get through, which is definitely the time at which he was held at gunpoint. "I would have to say that being held up at gunpoint is also part of my PTSD." Gabby took a breath when she heard Matt tell her that, before going to grab his hand; she then intertwined their fingers and looked at the man she loves. Leaning in, Gabby took a breath due to the fact that it's something that is hard. "I swear, I am so glad that you're no longer in the CFD; that place would've killed you eventually." Matt smiled when he heard Gabby say that. "I'm glad that I got out of there too, because the life that we have together is incredible." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, before leaning in and kissing him once again.

Just taking things nice and slow with Matt, Gabby smirked due to the fact that she's incredible happy. "Okay, so next topic. I want to just get over it. I know that we should take our time but…" Gabby smiled as she put her hand on his face, before kissing Matt again. "Because you want to have sex with me." Matt was shocked when he heard Gabby say that. "No." Gabby just looked at her husband when he said that, well aware of the fact that he was currently lying. "Okay, that is definitely something I want to do." Gabby laughing, before kissing him again. "Later, I just need to finish first. I need to tell you this last one first." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that. "What's the last one?" Matt took a breath when he heard Gabby ask him what the last one was. "These two are co-related." Gabby agreed with Matt, before just listening to him. "When we lost the baby, and you almost died." Gabby took a breath when she heard Matt say that, well aware of the fact that it was definitely something. "It caused a lot of problems in our marriage too."

Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, before proceeding to slip close to Matt. She then put her hands on his chest, and kissed him softly; just taking things nice and slow with the man she loves, Gabby smirked due to the fact that this is perfect. And she's really happy to be sharing this sweet kiss with the man she loves, who is also the father of her children; and she's also the only man that she can ever be with for the rest of her life. "But now, things are better; and even better, we have the boys and have the ability to have more babies." Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, as he was definitely happy that was the case. Running her hand down Matt's chest, Gabby smirked due to the fact that she's quite happy right now. She then proceeded to play with the waistband of his boxers, Gabby wanted to tease him as much as she could. "Oh, now you're definitely asking me to just have me make love to you." Gabby smiled, agreeing with her husband when he said that. She then got close to him and wrapped her arms around him tight.

Moving his hand to her lingerie, Matt smirked as he played with her lingerie bodysuit that she was wearing for him. "I hate that you're wearing a bodysuit, because it means that I can't have sex with you." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, before getting close to him again. She then slipped her legs in between his. At the same time, Matt put his hand on her hip and then kissed her softly; after which, he moved his hand to her arm and stroked it with his thumb while also moving his lips to her forehead. Pressing his lips to her forehead, Matt smiled due to the fact that this is definitely what he wants to do right now. He wants to be with the woman he loves, and he just wants to hold her in his arms right now. Looking down at his girl again, Matt smirked as he moved his hand on her neck and then bent down to kiss her softly; taking things nice and slow with his gorgeous wife, Matt smirked due to the fact that this really is everything that he wants to do right now. "Just curious, are we going for it?" Gabby just looked up at Matt when he said that.

She then smirked as she thought about whether she wants to make love to her husband or not right now. And right now, that was definitely something that she wants to do. She wants to take things nice and slow with her dreamy husband, and just feel him make love to Matt. Yet, there are just so many questions as to whether she really wants to do it right now. Looking at Gabby as he moved his hand to her neck, Matt smirked due to the fact that he does what his wife in his arms; he wants to make love to her, he wants to have fun with her. But he does know that he needs to just take it easy. "I am so conflicted. I want to take it easy with you, but we also need to relax right now." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, smiling due to the fact that she felt the same way; she wants to make love to her husband, and just wants to make things nice and slow with the man of her dreams. She then decided to roll over onto her back while looking up at the man she loves, the man that she wants to have make love to her right now, which is exactly what he did.

He just finished making love to his wife, the wife whom is now laying down on his chest while stroking his chest with her thumb; at the same time, Matt has his hand on top of hers while stroking it with his thumb. Running his hand up and down her back shortly afterwards, Matt smiled as the sex that the two of them just had this morning was really happy. For the both of them to have just made love to each over after that great conversation that they just had was perfect. And there really is nothing like this feeling. The feeling of his wife's naked body on his. Turning his head, Matt smiled as he kissed the top of Gabby's head while also wrapping his arm around her. He then whispered to his girl, smirking as he was so glad that they just did that. "What if that was what it took to get you pregnant with our daughters?" Gabby smiled when she heard Matt say that, before feeling him press his lips to her forehead once again. "Baby, I have an IUD remember?" Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, before wrapping his legs around hers.

And while he knows that's the truth, it can definitely be something that he can dream about; he can think it's possible all he wants. He then went to whisper to Gabby and just smiled due to the fact that this is everything that he wants right now, he wants to hold his wife in his arms and just relax with her. Kissing her forehead once again, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is just perfect; and there truly is nothing like the feeling of Gabby naked on his chest. He then ran his hand up and down Gabby's back, before whispering to her. "So, what are we going to do for the rest of the day? I mean, we did think that these conversations were going to take all day." Gabby smiled when she heard Matt say that, as this is definitely something that she can do. She can just lay her head down on his chest, and she can cuddle up to the man she loves more than anything in the entire world; he then kissed her forehead, while smiling at the most beautiful woman in his world. "How are you feeling right now? You comfortable? Tired?" Gabby smiled when Matt asked her that.

"All I know is that I am very comfortable after my husband makes love to me. The way his strong hands move all around my body is pure paradise for me." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before going ahead with running his hand down her body, which is definitely something that she's interested in right now. She just wants to feel him run his hand around her back. And boy is it paradise. There's just something about the way he runs his hand down her back, which is just something that she wants to feel right now. Laying her head down on his chest again, Gabby smiled as she ran her hand up and down Matt's chest; after which, Gabby turned her head and bent down to kiss his chest softly. After which, she cuddled up to him again before feeling Matt wrap his legs around hers. "I see that you're not going to let me leave your chest today?" Matt laughed as he heard Gabby ask him whether they're going to be moving today. "Honestly, I'm not sure yet. All I know is that I love the feeling of you naked on my chest, the feeling of your breasts on me."

Gabby smirked due to the fact that she was well aware of the fact that this was something that was turning him on, and that's all due to the fact that she's naked on Matt's chest. "I'm leaving it up to you when it comes to what you want to do. If you want to just stay here, when we can do that. If you want to move and go somewhere else, then we can do that; all I know is that I am very comfortable right now, and just ready to hold you close for the rest of the day." Running his hand up and down Gabby's back as he heard her say that, Matt just smiled due to the fact that this is something that he really wants to do right now. He just wants to hold his girl like this right now, and he wants to make sure that they are just holding each other close. "So, do you need me to do anything for you?" Gabby shook her head when Matt asked her whether she needs anything right now. "All I need is you to stay like this." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, before bending down and proceeding to kiss the top of her head once again. "I love you."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that he loves her, which is definitely something that she feels about him too; she then looked up at her man and just smiled, which then prompted Matt to bend down and kiss his wife softly. Wrapping his arms around Gabby, matt smirked as they just took things nice and slow with each other. "I am so glad that this is what we just did." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that. "Listen, how about you get us our clothes. I'm not going to stay here naked." Matt smiled when Gabby said that. "So, you want me to put my boxers on?"

Gabby's POV:
When Matt asked me whether I wanted him to put his boxers on, I took a breath due to the fact that I hated that I wanted to put his boxers on. I want to cuddle up to him like this, but I also know that we need to relax right now; we just need to hold each other close, and we need to make sure that nothing else happens in between the both of us. And while there's nothing like the feeling of my husband being naked under me. "Listen, you need to put your boxers on." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, after which I went to climb off of his chest. Going to slip over in bed, Matt smirked as he went ahead and proceeded to get up so that he can put his boxers on. Bending down to grab them, Matt smiled as he went ahead and tugged them up. And boy it was hot, I just love that ass more than anything. After which, Matt then smirked as he went to grab my underwear; turning to face me after grabbing them, he smiled as he went ahead and throw them towards me. Getting up, I went ahead and put my underwear on (while also teasing Matt).

Matt then walked over to his wardrobe. "Hey, I said that I wanted you in boxers; I didn't say anything about you wearing a shirt." Turning to look at me, Matt smirked. "Who said that this shirt was for me?" I smirked when I heard Matt say that, before watching as he went ahead and grabbed a dress shirt for me. Afterwards, he went ahead and came to give me a shirt. Grabbing it from him, I smiled so that I could put it on. Slipping it onto my shoulders, I smiled as I went to adjust it; I was then about to start doing up the buttons, when Matt stopped me. Stepping close to me, Matt put his hand on my neck and then pushed my head up. Staring up into his eyes, I smirked due to the fact that I love him more than anything. Putting my hands on his chest, I smiled as I leaned in and kissed him softly. Taking things slow with me, Matt smirked as he put his hands on my sides and brought me against his chest; after which, I wrapped my arms around his torso and just leaned up to kiss him softly. Taking things slow with Matt, I smiled at my man.

"I love you; you know that right?" Matt agreed with me when I said that, smiling as he was well aware of the fact that I love him. "Of course, I know that baby." I smiled when I heard Matt tell me that. "What do you say we get back in bed?" I agreed with Matt, smiling as I went ahead and led my dreamy husband back to our bed; that way, we can cuddle up to each other and just relax this morning. "Maybe Netflix?" Matt laughed, agreeing with me as we got ready to 'netflix and chill'.
